We were on a road trip heading to St Louis when a clamp in our exhaust system came undone. I called the shop as soon as they opened and they had us back on the road in under an hour. Exceptional, fast, and friendly service!

This location went above and beyond to help us out with our recently bought used van. They got us road ready for a move. They even helped us out after a little snafu on the road within the few days following our initial repairs. Howard and Glen made our experience awesome. Definitely recommending this place to others.

These guys have always been honest about the work that needs done and are very quick! I’ve always received same day turn around. Today they diagnosed my jeep with a radial pull in one of the tires, when I totally thought it was going to be a huge break job. After expecting to pay several hundred dollars, I walked out of there having paid 30. I’ll be back next time I need some work done! Thank you!!

I have been a regular customer at Tire Choice for over 15 years. I was sold on their fair pricing for oil changes and other minor maintenance work. At one point, former manager Scott Fluhart recognized a diagnostic error on the brake system of an older Honda CRV and corrected the problem for free. That would have been a major repair priced at over $1,000. For that, I am loyal.

I went for AC repair at Olentangy River Rd, Columbus. They fixed a different compressor (Monro compressor: I didnt find any information about this compressor who manufactured and price from any source) which they actually quoted (Denso compressor) without my knowledge. Even they didnt provide proper information about parts but charged overpriced. Manipulated....Disgusting people...I wont recommend here. Foreign nationals be careful...

Disrespectful, offensive and rude manager, does not care about customer service.I told the manager that my car requires the use of jackpads before its lifted. He replied I have been doing this for 20 years, please leave the garage. And now my cars jack pad inserts are damaged. After working a long shift at the hospital, I walked out to my jeep and saw it had a flat tire. I called to see if they could help and they were able to get me in and out, no questions asked! 90 minutes after finding my flat tire I was driving home with a brand new tire and could go on about my weekend. I will return for further services! Highly recommend!

This place would be a 5 star, but I only seen 2 workers which made the process longer. They offer free Wi-Fi access which is nice. They floors were dirty even under the chairs along the wall. The parking lot is small, but it works. For the price its well WORTH the service!!!

I have been a customer of Tire Choice since it was Monro. They are very helpful even if you just need air in a tire. I will continue to use them for my tires and oil changes. Nice people work there.

I was incredibly impressed by the service I received today. The manager, Howard, went out of his way to make sure that I was taken care of. Prior to my appointment he took the time to call me and let me know that the original tires that I had selected on the website were out at his shop and would need to be transferred from another when they opened tomorrow (no fault of his, the computer system isnt entirely accurate). Since this wouldnt work with my schedule he recommended a substitution that was in stock and was as close as possible to both my specifications and price range. That extra step saved what could have been a wasted trip to other shops, and showed me that these guys truly care about their work and their word.The service was completed quickly and efficiently (even with only two guys in the shop on a busy Sunday). I unfortunately didnt catch the name of the tech that did the work but he was extremely professional and did a top notch job. By far the best tire service I have ever had. I will certainly be back for any future work.

After dropping off my car for a noon appointment at the Tire Choice Auto Service location at 2845 Tremont Rd, Columbus, OH 43221, I came back 90 minute later to the shock that not only have they not fixed anything, they hadnt even started working on it as my car was in the same parking spot as when I left if there…I essentially had to sit in the waiting room, keeping presence, until they would actually start working on it. Less than 30 min later, I was given an estimate nearing $1,500 for a radiator and an A/C compressor issues. The A/C compressor had just been replaced in the last 2 years completely new, so I knew that had to have been incorrect.I elected a second opinion. So the same day, I stopped at another Tire Choice Auto Service location at 3085 Olentangy River Rd, Columbus, OH 43202. Howard Gabbert, who works there immediately started looking over the car and noted the issue was not the compressor but the A/C blower motor was making the noise, as he walked through how and why, with increasing the fan speed would make more noise, and how it was completely illogical that the compressor would be an issue as he noted the A/C is ice cold....Not only that, Howard shaved off $75 from the radiator fix AND completed it the same day from 5-6:16pm...so in short, visiting this location, saved me close to $1,000 in completely unnecessary repairs.I thank Howard Gabbert and the team at the 3085 Olentangy River Rd, Columbus, OH 43202 Tire Choice Auto Service for a VERY quick high quality turn around, and to actually watch out for the customers benefit!!

I walked in to this location (Olentangy River Rd) without an appointment and was helped immediately with excellent service and got a great deal to boot (oil change and tires). This was after spending more than 30 mins at a different location (Bethel Rd near 315) waiting for them to figure out how to use a computer. When the other location finally gave me a quote, it was almost twice as much as this location. I definitely recommend the Olentangy River Rd location because they are fast, friendly, and affordable.

Id give 0 stars if I could. I told the manager that my car requires that jack-pads are used before lifting the car, otherwise there will be damage. He said Ive been doing this for 20 years, and rudely asked me to leave the garage.Full of arrogance and unhelpful manager damaged my cars jack inserts. Never going back.

Well getting in my car this morning TPMS was flashing to inform me that all tire have lost a few pounds of pressure. Most Gas Stations no longer have good nor working air pumps. During covid-19 and butter cold they filled my tires and didnt even charge me. I can assure you they will get my business when Im in the market for a new set of tires. Courteous service is rare and hard to find. Thank you once again.

Everyone please read this before getting serviced here.My AC wasn’t working so I came here to get it checked out. I asked how much it would cost to get it fixed; guy said “it depends on what’s wrong”. So I asked if they can see what’s wrong, he said “yes but it will cost $30 to check it out...but don’t worry it will be taken out of the final cost of the service”. After checking out my car, he came back to tell me it needed to be recharged with Freon and that it would cost me $120 total or something like that. I said ok let’s do it. After recharging my car, he comes to me and tells me “it turns out you need a compressor because you DONT have one”....I say ”what do you mean I don’t have one???”...he says “yea it’s not there, it must’ve fallen out of your car.” He then proceeds to tell me that this has happened before and that it will cost $1000 to put in a new one today. I denied the service because I couldn’t afford it (not because I knew that a compressor “falling off” a car was extremely unlikely). He then said “ok I will reverse the recharge I just completed then”. (How does one reverse that service? Maybe it’s possible, I might be wrong since I’m compeltely ignorant to all that is auto mechanics)ANYWAYS.....My car’s compressor is there. It’s perfectly bolted next to my engine, on the rubber belt thing. I don’t know much about cars so I called my dad and he angrily told me that there is no way my compressor miraculously fell off. He made me re-check myself, and bingo...there it was.In summary, the mechanics of this shop are 1 of 2 things:1. Extremely under-qualified for their field of service, considering they couldn’t find the AC compressor in my car2. Liers/thieves trying to take advantage of a young girl that doesn’t know anything about cars and might say “heyyyy why not, here’s $1000 to put in a new compressor....I just want my AC workin today!!”For the sake of humanity (but very unfortunate for the business), I’m going with the embarrassingly honest act of them not spotting the compressor in my car (hence the 1/5 instead of 0/5 stars). For the man who was attempting to provide me service, the compressor of a 2011 Toyota Corolla is located on the bottom left side of the engine (when looking at the car from the front). It can be seen perfectly from the bottom of the car. Photos are posted below. However, thank you for the discount on the break light. I drove my car here in a flat tire after waiting four road side assistance. They got me that evening even though they were closing soon and saved me a lot of trouble. Very professional and great service. I would recommend.

Glenn and his team treated us to premier service!! Out of towners, we had blown a rim AND the tire and had to stop for the night. So lucky to find Store 479 of Tire Choice. They put in a lot of extra work to find us the right size tire AND went and retrieved it. They also worked with the local GM dealer and found us the special size rim for our suburban. Cannot say enough about the great service, respect and friendly staff. What a blessing! I highly recommend this location and this team.

They tired to tax me almost 1000 for some tires and they told me thats the best deal in town. Made a few calls and got some new wheels for 450. I highly suggest calling around other shops before sealing the deal. They are wayyyyyy overpriced

I visited today, one of the tires got a nail in it and they refuse to change that particular one, they said they only change all four tires. So why would I change my three good tires? They are greedy and just want your money from your pocket. Definitely not recommend visiting.

I had a tire emergency. After calling around to a few places, Glen stated without a lot of hemming and hawing that he could get my vehicle in and worked on within the hour.And he did! Great service - in and done within an hour and a half. All of this with reasonable prices. They are now my go-to shop in Columbus.

Avoid this place like plague. They have charged me exorbitantly and did a very shoddy job. I went there with a brake grinding noise issue. They gave me an estimate of $950, and scared me that if I do not get it done immediately the brake may fail. After I requested that I cannot afford this much, they said that you may decide not to change rotor (cost around 220) and gave final estimate of 663 after some discounts. When I came back and compared with a similar service done at Tire Centre, Hilliard, I found that they have charged me for services which are not charged at Hilliard. I have attached both the quotes with the extra charges marked in red. When I asked him about it, he was very rude and said he cant refund anything. They can scare you and charge you anything they wish in the name of labor so be very careful. Further, they did not bother to check even my mileage or tire pressure or torque for my car, forget about 32 point inspection they talk about. A professional service center should at least make sure that customer does not feel cheated or manipulated. I dont think they care about customers.

Fantastic service! Ive come here multiple times and I always receive fantastic help. The workers here are very friendly and you can tell they are honest and not out to rip you off. They always do such great work on my car in a timely manner. I definitely will continue coming here with any future issues with my car!

I have regularly serviced my car here since summer of 2018. I really trust Glenn and his team with my car. Multiple times over the year I thought my brake pads needed replaced. They checked them and let me know that they still had more on them. I don’t think you get that integrity at a lot of shops.

Way far from home and noticed a bolt in my tire. Was able to quickly schedule an online appointment for that day. When I arrived, the workers were very polite, friendly, and helpful. Got my tire repaired in about 15 minutes and was right back on the road. Hopefully I wont have to, but I would totally go back here if needed.

I went here a little over a week ago on a whim. Had a bad experience at another place where I had been a long-time, loyal customer. So, I googled some place close to me that would be convenient and had an appointment available the quickest. For starters, I loved that I could request my appointment online and then it notified me if that time was available. Super convenient. I was actually about 30 minutes late because I got stuck at work and the guy up front was gracious enough to still offer me the service I needed and more. I ended up getting an oil change and new brakes (front and back). Not only did they offer me a competitive price, but I knew that he wasnt just trying to rip me off and scam me. Unlike the previous place I had been a loyal customer at. Ill definitely be going back here!

I scheduled an oil change and tire rotation at this location 48 hours in advance. When I arrived (on time) I stood at the front desk for 5 minutes before the guy behind the counter would even acknowledge me. Once he finally asked what I was there for I told him. He stated in a rude manor that my appointment was not on the book and it would be 2 hours before it could be done. Usually this wouldnt be an issue, but when I made the appointment I stated that I would be waiting for this to be done. When I was displeased he did not seem to care. I actually love going to Monroe Muffler because I usually experience great service and quick turnaround. However, this is my first time going to this location and I will never go back. I dont think it is hard to be kind to people and if you make a mistake with the schedule, figure it out. Customer service people.

Our daughter moved to Columbus to attend law school. She needed a place that she could trust to do light maintenance on her car along with oil changes. We wanted a place that she felt comfortable going to since her dad has always taken care of her car. Her dad called and made her the first appointment and talked to Scott. Scott has now taken care of our daughter for the last 3 years. He has been the most wonderful person we have ever worked with. If she has a concern about something on her car, he listens to her and then helps out however he can. Her car had made a strange noise forever and finally Scott was the one to figure it out. It wasnt something he could do in his shop but we were able to get it to a local ford shop and finally get it repaired. So, when he tells her that she needs something done, we totally trust him. We wish he could move his shop to our state so we could go to him too! We dont have any of that kind of service here where we live! Thanks so much, Scott!!

Thank goodness Monro is open on Sundays!! My car completely lost its brakes when I was 4 hours from home and the only place who could fix it was Monro. The guy who was working was very nice and saved me from finding a hotel room for the night! Thank you!

I made an appointment to get my tires rotated and noon the next day, I show up, and the man is wondering all my information as if I never made an appointment. I checked my call I made when I scheduled the appointment and it was their number. The guy told me a 2 hr wait time and requested my keys. I told him I drove here and made an appointment, I’m not waiting 3 hrs for services when I scheduled it, that I can drive back in 2 hrs. He said I can’t give you a time when all these cars are done. I then reminded him he already did, 2 hrs. He then corrected himself and said he couldn’t be sure. Naturally, just like any business and scheduling, he should be able to give me a time or just call me down and I’ll come back down when THEY are ready for me. He denied my request because that’s not how they operate. NEVER have I EVER been in at a business that put themselves before the customer. Disgraceful. This business is being horribly mismanaged and needs correcting.

Came in the afternoon after calling in the morning to see if they had time to see me. After I got there, within a short amount of time they got my car in and identified the problem. They were able to fix it quickly, for a really good price, and with great service. Will definitely return here if I have more issues with my car in the future, highly recommend!

Monro does a really good job of only doing the repairs that need to be done. If they’re telling me to think about a repair, it probably needs to be done. They have good prices and good service. They’ve replaced my brakes, my muffler, and have the cheapest oil changes in town.

I was happy to find the manager, Glen Michael, at this store after going to him for years at the North High Street location. Ive always found Glen to be honest and thorough. If I need an expensive repair hes always worked with me to get the best price possible. I heartily endorse Glen at his new location. I always make sure hes in the shop when I make my appointments.Adding to this - an unexpected hole in my sons exhaust this week was repaired, with replacement parts, after dropping off the car unexpectedly. Not an inexpensive repair, but a job well done and much appreciated.

Im quite upset. This facility tried to get me to spend $1300 on new front struts when the Saturn didnt need them. They also refused to fix my AC but were beyond willing to take $125 for refrigerant. It seems that they are quite driven by money. Which is what upsets me. They crew is friendly at least.

Dropped car off to have belt noise checked out. They quickly assessed the problem free of charge and said that nothing needed to be done immediately but that the serpentine belt needs to be replaced in the near future. Very happy with service.Deducted 2 stars because car smells strongly of cigarette smoke upon pick up and smell has not dissipated over the last 6 hours. Very unprofessional.

Quick, good work. I called them at 3:30, got there at 4, and back on the road with 2 new tires in 40 minutes.

Way too expensive compared to the average price in Columbus Area. The knock sensor cost $60 more here than in an auto part shop. The labor cost is $120/hour, which I believe is way above the average market price. And the manager said it would take the labor 3 hours to replace the knock sensor. If you charge a high hourly labor cost because your labors work efficiently, then why would it take so long to get it replaced? There is also $39 shop supply fee. Still give two stars, since the manager is responsive on the phone. And you can just walk in to get your car diagnosed.

Had a popped tire and they changed both front tires for me. Prices were good, from what I compared on google. Even saved me some money on a broken lug nut screw which was unexpected. Also, had the car done 3 hours early. Really good service.

From out of town and pulled in to realize our rear brakes were grinding. Monro was across the street from where we were staying. They took us in without an appointment, told us what we needed, and got it done in less than 2 hours!!! Its great to know they have our back and we are safe while driving 5 hours back home!!!!

After reading the other comments, I feel like theyre describing a completely different shop, but I know this is the one I went to.The gentleman who helped me was named Scott. I had a piece hanging down from the bottom of my car, he took a look at it for no charge, showed me what was wrong and told me what he could do. After putting a few screws in to keep it in place, I asked what the total would be. He told me he doesnt charge for small things like that!!I gave him a hug and drove home a happy customer.

I was having muffler issues and took my car in to get an estimate. Initially, Monro told me that it would be a $1200 repair, but when I said that sounded high, they went down to $500. I took my car to another place (Pied Piper in New Philadelphia, Ohio - highly recommend) and they fixed it for less than $100. Would not trust Monro to give you a fair price or the truth about what’s going on with your car. They do not have your best interest in mind - they want to sell you as much as possible.

Monro always provides great service at a reasonable price, but my experience today was exceptional. The new manager, Ben, was honest, helpful, and a delight to work with. I went to Monro after getting a quote from Midas, and Im so glad I did--the switch saved me over $100! I will definitely be bringing my car straight to Monro from now on.

My Mother had asked me to go see Glen at Monro for my car issues. I have a good experience and even though I cant afford everything I need today. The guys there explained what I need now and what could wait for a few weeks until I got paid again. Never had that happen before. No pressure sale will go back to finish the car up. What a nice car issue experience.

**PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU GO HERE**Absolute horrible service here. Came in the other day to get my tires rotated and an alignment. I have a lifted Jeep Wrangler with 35s and 2 in spacers on it. First of all, they broke one of my lug nuts in my wheel completely in half, and twisted TWO more, which resulted me in having to buy a whole new set of 23 more from Amazon (I also have literally no way of removing my tire now unless I DRILL THROUGH MY SPACER THREAD AND BUY A WHOLE NEW SET OF 4 SPACERS FOR MY CAR.) So they charged me for a rotation even though they only rotated 3 of my tires.Then the worst part of this whole situation is when I got my alignment done, they did HALF of my alignment, then stopped in the middle of it and took my car down and said that they couldnt do anything else about it. While I was driving home, my steering wheel LOCKED UP on me as I was turning left, such a scary situation, I was lucky there was no one next to me. Called the next morning to ask them if I could bring it in as an emergency since I was so freaked out and was literally told by the guy on the phone that they couldnt do anything else about it(Actual quote from him), and to basically not even bother bringing it back to them. I had to go to a complete other mechanic who took ONE look at the job they did and laughed. He was astonished that my steering stabilizer was in the condition that they left it in, and that if I had kept driving with it like that, my steering wheel would have basically locked up on me in the middle of the road. Such poor, poor service from guys who clearly dont care whatsoever, and sit around and just take a bunch of smoke breaks through the whole process of fixing your car, not to mention smoking while they are working YOUR OWN car too, which is fantastic because mine now reeks of cigarettes .Absolutely disgraceful work from guys who obviously could not have cared less about the safety of their clients.They saw that my car was modified, its not a big secret, the car is on 35s and has spacers! If they couldnt do the work PROPERLY and SAFLEY they SHOULD NOT HAVE ACCEPTED IT AT ALL IN THE FIRTST PLACE!!! This kind of complete negligence can put your customers lives at risk!

Excellent service after having a catalytic converter stolen from my car. The store manager, Glenn, even found a way to reduce the cost to repair the damage done by the theft. I will be going to this location for all my regular services moving forward!

Great service! I was looking for specific tires for my car, and they didnt have them in stock. Did that stop them from replacing my tires? No! These wonderful guys went out of their way to find and pick up the tires for me. I have always used Monroe for tires, but now I will exclusively use the Olentangy Rd. location.

If you want a reliable shop with a home-town feel, this is the place to go.I have taken my car to this shop for the last 4 years, and have always been happy with the result. My car is a high-mileage (240,000k) vehicle and has had quite a few repairs done by Monro (A/C, radiator, muffler) and have used them for oil changes. Most recently I took the vehicle in, and the repair was going to cost more than the car was worth. Scott walked me through the options and recommended against the repair, but gave me advice on how to keep the car safe and drivable while looking for a new vehicle. When I picked up the car, they had filled the fluids that I was having a problem with, and didnt charge me a thing.When I get my new vehicle, I will be taking it Monro as well.

I went in for an oil change and shortly afterwards, noticed a soft flapping noise. I took it back in and they said there was a splash bolt that was knocked off along with some screws. They fixed it at no additional charge. Great service!

We live just down the street from them, and when my car wouldn’t start after a few attempts to jump it, I called in. When Glen realized how close we were to the shop, he drove to our place and fixed the issue himself FREE OF CHARGE!

Great people very honest, the guy that did my car inspection is great, he saved me close to 400 dollars, if its other place they would have push the repair even though theres nothing wrong with my car, 100% recommended.

These guys are awesome. We were passing through with a car we bought in NY. We had new tires put on it before we left but they were still out of balance. The rims were rusted and that is what caused it to be out of balance. They cleaned the rims, took all of the old weights off, and did an awesome job. It was very cheap too so great job!

Ive used them for various repairs because theyre honest and competent, and thats the highest praise I can give a repair shop. Theyre able to do much more than tires, mufflers and brakes.
