Welcoming building and clean. I love the atmosphere. The food and drinks are wonderful. The staff is welcoming and friendly. Even being understaffed and having a long line of customers. I think the coffee has a sour/sweet taste to is. It is still smooth but not strong in the normal coffee flavor. I got a 3 shot Almond milk Latte. The temperature was perfect and the taste was delicious.
We love the Wild goose. We get the meat and cheese tray and a bottle of wine almost every time we come, relaxing atmosphere and wonderful staff.
A bit on the pricey side but the quality is very high. Was not very busy at 9:15 AM, and the place is wide open to the outside (great anti-covid ventilation) in nice weather. Had a mocha and bacon breakfast burrito that included terrific salsa and jam on the side. Yum!Far enough away from the heart of downtown that on-street parking was available right outside.
This is an awesome spot! They have live music on friday nights for a small cover charge (when I went it was $5 per person). The coffee is fantastic and the employees are really great and friendly. Its almost like when youre not living under the poverty line it allows you to do your job better! Crazy right?
Absolutely LOVE this place! The staff is super chill, very kind and mindful. The food and drinks are top notch. Their chai is incredible (I like mine extra spicy). AND I just tried their Pumpkin Spice Latte and it’s far above any coffee chain. The green chili burrito is impeccable. Truly can’t say enough good things about this place. We come here weekly.
So good: Drinks. Coffee. Food. Vibe. Everything sold at “gratuity included” prices. Top accolades from this reviewer.
Such a great place to relax and listen to music or read, and the staff is wonderful!! So kind and so welcoming. The coffee was perfect and they had several dairy free milk options. But seriously, the staff. They give this place the warmest friendliest vibes.
Incredibly friendly staff and a really unique atmosphere. Good food and decent coffee too!
Somewhat pricy but the flavor of the food and drinks are great with interesting combinations. Love they support local jazz.
Not impressed with the cold soup we were served yesterday and when brought up to share how cold it was we were given an excuse that theres been problems with something that caused the soup to not be hot. The soup was not very tasty but seemed to have fresh ingredients which was nice. I had a half sandwich, the grilled cheese, which was tasty, but was cold by the time I actually got a warm soup. I found the prices pretty high for such a low customer service experience. Id rather tip then deal with 3 different staff and wait in line to just get the attention of front of house. Not sure if I will return for the food, but definitely the convenience of the outdoor patio!
Really excellent service and delicious food. Tried their Wild Goose sandwich with gluten free bread and house salad with best tasting apple vinaigrette. Sparkling water with touch of Lavender was so good. There was an Iron Man poster in the bathroom, I thought it was a nice touch. RIP Tony 😞💔
What an inviting, hip place with a healthy selection of food. I loved the ginger beer. I’ve seen many different style of music here, and loved every one of them. The atmosphere is so quaint and intimate, it’s easy to get wrapped in the music and smell of coffee. Even though I have loved every band I’ve seen, I gotta say, Nube Nuevo was my favorite!!
Great style and decor. Coffee wasnt the best and the Sunday morning patrons were less than friendly.
Cute study spot, good food. I don’t know why they kept the whole door open in this cold though.
Nice place for coffee or specialty drinks. A cool library vibe. Lots of group meetings here. Heart of downtown
The Wild Goose Meeting House is one of the newer mainstays of downtown Colorado Springs. Since it’s opening eight years ago, the owners have also gone on to launch Good Neighbors Meeting House on Columbia Street in the Old North End, and are dedicated to the growth of good in their community. The Goose offers excellent coffee or libations alongside great food in a space that facilitates meeting with a good friend or working studiously. And if you’re needing a good book, check out the color-coded shelves for an eclectic read.
Cool place. Would love to hang here for coffee or breakfast. Loved my sandwich
Friendly staff and clean inviting space. Portion of food was pretty small for the price but it was fresh and I could tell it was made in house with good ingredients. I didnt have a cocktail but its cool that they offer that as well!
The coffee is good. Not all prices are listed or accurate on their menu board. The service is slow.
Breakfast nachos are amazing, the salsa is home made. My wife loved the ginger peach tea.
We had a large group and everyone raved about all the dishes we tried.Would definitely recommend this place.
Very cool little environment and the coffee is delicious. Got two coffees and it was about $12. Better than Starbucks by far.
We shared the breakfast nachos and they were on point. Great for sharing. The nitro cold brew coffee was good, but tasted a little watered down. It was a great space, but would be quite small in cooler months with their patio seating. They have live music sometimes on weekends. We’d love to return when it’s not a weekday.
Not really a child friendly location, but the food was great and the service was excellent. The prices seem high, but they discourage tipping. In the end the prices are on par with other eateries if you include the tipping. Look forward to future visits.
Absolutely fantastic. Showed up for breakfast and had an absolutely amazing green chili breakfast burrito. Servers were great, atmosphere was great, food was great, view was great.
Had the great fortune to stumble onto this unassuming little all adults place, hidden under the wing of the Pasta operation next door;unhurried pace, good food with very accessible and effective lightweight service help reinforce the grown-ups feel of the ambience!
Cute spot. Baristas are nice. They were slow and forgot my drink for over 15 mins though. I checked in twice, surprised that it took them so long. Didnt buss tables, napkins were blowing away even though not many customers and they seem to have a few front of house staff. Id come back but the service doesnt seem to be 100% on the ball.
The food was good, coffee was good, and the employees were very sweet. ❤️❤️
Wild Goose Meeting House is an awesome place! They serve great coffee and have fantastic menu items for a meal! The little restaurant is in downtown Colorado Springs and does a lot to involve the community. They have a board with all their upcoming events and live bands that come and play. They offer an art room in the back. The whole place has a fun atmosphere and I highly recommend this place for studying, grabbing a bite to eat or simply enjoying some coffee!
Excellent location with professional staff and great menu.
Sweet lil place to get some work or studying done. Cozy atmosphere, good grub and beer.
Great place to have a drink and watch the weather move in.
Great food and neighborhood atmosphere. Vegetarian options. Cocktail and wine menu.
I would give 5 stars but my daughters coffee tasted like horse food lol!
Great food and an excellent coffeehouse vibe! Strong recommend
Awesome nachos! Nice people!
Ive loved this place in the past, but the service was terrible. I get a lunch rush but 45 minutes to almost have one dish started in the kitchen is absurd. Very disappointed.
The Wild Goose Meeting House is a pillar of the downtown area, co-owners Yemi and Russ have a tremendous heart, care and devotion for this city, its people and every single person who comes through those doors. One of the few black-owned business in Colorado Springs, WG is a fierce advocate for social change, community dialogue, creating bridges of conversations, and making a space for creation, conversation and community. Their wide-ranging menu and passionate staff creates a place where people from all walks of life and backgrounds come for food, drinks, merriment, and atmosphere. This cute little hub is a delightful gem at any time, day or night, weekend or week day, and I am so excited that they will be opening again soon.
Nice atmosphere. Friendly service. Interesting menu.
Cant make a margaritta then dont have it on the menu. Better options to be found in the area. Not impressed food was overpriced and cold first and last time here.
Solid local coffee shop. The ice nitro on tap was delicious, even if it was on the expensive side. Bonus points for having Vegan sandwich options. My friend was able to get a quick bite to eat which was very nice. He reported that the sandwich was wonderful. They even threw in a side of raspberry jam.
The atmosphere was nice! The chai was good, could have been hotter.
Super cute coffee shop. Great time!
I love this place and want to give it 5 stars, but I gotta dock a bit for the wait times. If you place an order online, it shouldn’t take an additional 25 minutes to get your order on time. It’s also mildly overpriced ($14 for a relatively basic sandwich). BUT nevertheless the staff is great and I love the ambiance which still results in a mostly positive rating just don’t come here to be timely or frugal
This is awell-lit, hip spot with ample seating and beverage choices. Live music, books, and a community-style table are a few of the features the meeting house offers. It is a classicly modern rendition of a turn-of-the-last century coastal meeting house with garage door windows and nerdy accents throughout. Over great place for socializing.
Coffee shop/restaurant/bar on a corner location in downtown Colorado Springs. Variety of seating options including 2 large tables for groups. Garage doors open out to patio seating. Food and drinks are fantastic and reasonably priced. Bathrooms are in the corner behind past the counter. Facilities are unisex and clean.
Good location, good coffee, parking can be hit and miss.
Good food but sadly run by very bad people. They practically pay slave wages. Its sad that places like this still take advantage of people. The owner comes in and makes food without wearing a mask and then finds out he tested positive. I would not touch this place with a thousand foot pole.
If you like to park in front of alleyways, come here. The other patrons and you will get along just fine. Also, Russ fires people under the guise of the pandemic while hiring people close to him to take over their shifts. Weird...
Super cool and laid back place. Make sure to have a look around at all the books and decor. Love the patio.
The atmosphere is nice and the employees are always very kind and welcoming. The menu is a little big, I will admit, but it has something for everyone and the sparkling lemonade is fantastic. Would recommend everyone to try the Goose at least once
Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Delicious coffee and food. Outdoor seating. Perfect spot for remote workers.
What a fun place to hang out! Lots of seating, a charming and inviting atmosphere, and quite a menu! This was my first (but not last!) time in, and I had their house made ginger beer... it was perfect! So refreshing and tasty! If you need a place to chat with friends, read a book, work on a project or just a place to people watch... seems like the Wild Goose is the place to be!
Love this place!
The Wild Goose has a great reservation and prepaid tab system. They also have great safety practices in place and beautiful patio. Try any of the sandwiches with some of their jam, the red pepper gouda bisque is delicious and you cant go wrong with a craft cocktail, glass of wine or a pint.
The Wild Goose is a great place for breakfast and meetings during the morning or work day as well as fun at night. The vibe is always great there!
Awesome coffee and vegan options
Always super excellent. Attentive, friendly staff who are doing all they can to provide great food and coffee even during current events. Really great atmosphere that I would suggest to any coffee lover.
Horrible food and service, way overpriced!
This is a great addition to a Sunday afternoon. Stop at Poor Richards Book Store then come here and enjoy the air and good espresso.4 stars for the atmosphere and the outstanding espresso (smooth and creamy 👌)Im only holding back a star to have something to give after I try one of their drinks. However, Im sure they will be great with the top shelf and local spirits they are offering. The patrons seem to be regulars but and friendly and not pretentious at all unlike other cafes of this caliber.
Love this little gem in Colorado Springs. I had the vegan chocolate almond bread with some cold brew. Both were amazing! Also shout out to the barista who was super friendly and answered our questions about the coffee beans. Definitely stop by if youre in the area and appreciate high quality coffee, its the best coffee Ive had in Colorado Springs.
Great place for a meeting. Quiet beautiful interior great sandwiches and coffee!
One of my favorite places in town for the ambiance. Food seems overpriced and is good, not great. Drinks have been pleasing. Coffee good. If you want to dock this place for 25 minute wait times and leave a bad review, please just go to McDonalds where you belong instead.
Update: Reducing the rating due to having to argue with the staff about opening the garage door to clear the air after the kitchen smoked up the entire restaurant. They claimed the owner didnt want the door open due to the weather (50f sunny and breezy at the time) but the owner wasnt there to actually comment. Its disappointing the staff is unwilling to do whats necessary to ensure a comfortable space without having to be argued with.---Wild Goose is a great working space, plenty of seating and outlets, coffee, tea, wine, beer, and food. The grilled cheese and brats are tasty, and the nachos are reasonable, though they could use some additional layering of the cheese theyre still satisfying. However, the experience is often marred by music thats too loud and staff that are inconsistently responsive to requests to play it at a more reasonable level.
Very cool, food was great even during this awful time. Only issue was the server forgot the drinks for half our party and had to be reminded 2x and they were not slammed.
Best coffee Ive had in Colorado Springs. Great place to meet up with friends or for business and you can reserve a table and open a tab all online. Highly recommend.
Great coffee and quietest indoor/outdoor place to eat in Colorado Springs. (Slow, light traffic on street, no blaring music except awesome live music nights, respectful clientele). Come here if you want to talk and be heard by who you bring.
The BEST Vanilla Italian Soda anywhere...
Amazing coffee, delicious food, and the service was 10/10. The people working there were so kind and accommodating!
Really loved the atmosphere and the customer service was on point for us arriving fairly close to closing! The beer selection was fantastic
The bratwursts were cooked nicely and of high quality. Definitely stopping by again.
Owners seem to be anti-worker and put up a good image of the opposite.
I love a hip hang out with good food, great wine & an awesome atmosphere with chill tunes playing
The Wild Goose is a trendy, funky spot that’s perfect to visit with friends who want a good time. The atmosphere is energetic at night, and relaxed during the day. The food is delicious and perfect for sharing, and the drinks are delightful and refreshing. The Goose will always be my go-to spot for a fun night with friends or for a focused day of work on my computer.
Their price doesn’t match with the quality of food, not a place to try again!
Great staff, seriously. They were amazing. And the food is delicious!
Was served some excellent drip coffee & an espresso from Hold Fast Coffee and enjoyed a delicious bacon egg and cheese bagel! Our server was super nice and even gave us some recommendations for other spots to check out while visiting from Dallas!
Food was delicious. This place was awesome. Atmosphere was good.
