This place has a great vibe…especially the upstairs seating. I was looking for a good coffee shop in the nearby area to spend my morning and this turned out to be an excellent place. Good drinks options as well and the mocha I ordered was good.

One of my favorite Cafés in Cincinnati. Although the space is a little small, there is seating on 2 floors and also some outdoor seating as well. The coffee is roasted in house and some of the best Ive tasted. I am a big fan of the cold brew and the banana bread!

Went to a coffee cupping there and it was amazing. The amount of knowledge that the staff had the wonderful variety of coffee and a great atmosphere made it a perfect experience.

Haven’t been to an 86 since they only had one store and it was prom 7yrs ago lol same vibe, good smells, friendly people, and good drinks.

Pretty standard as far as coffee shops go. Atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Drip coffee is good and will do in a pinch if you didnt have time to fill up your thermos and want to avoid the work pot full of Folgers. The Cubano is great if you want an intense, sweetened shot of espresso to wake you up.If dairy with syrups and a bit of coffee flavoring is your thing, they have what you need. They are delicious, however, they are a bit sweet, so keep that in mind when ordering.Staff seems are welcoming, patient, and friendly. Please, make sure you tip them.

This place completely fueled my college carrier. I think at one point my blood was primarily 86 house blend coffee. The guys who run the shop are fantastic and really good hearted people.Pneuma roasts single origin coffee on site and have excellent relationships with the growers.Shop local & support these guys! This is a perfect spot for studying solo or working on group projects.

Every time I come to Cincinati this place is first on my list. The coffee is delicious, the vibe is right, snd the people make it authentic. DJ is the best and knows how to make someone’s day.

AMAZING STAFF AND COFFEE! Wow, I am blown out of the water. The 86 is incredible! The employees are incredible, the coffee is incredible, the atmosphere is incredible, the dine-in experience is incredible! What can I say except for incredible, this group has truly left almost completely speechless. Also, they have a lot of space for seating with a second floor, and an outdoor seating section. The latte that a friend had ordered was very much to their liking, and my espresso was nice and strong.P.S. - I will be back again! Pick up some apparel if they have and support a great coffee company!

We went for coffee and breakfast, I wasnt sure what to expect. The 86 has a really nice interior space, and as UC is between terms in mid May, the place was almost empty. The coffee was good, the breakfast bars (Taos) were quite good, but the overall breakfast offerings were very meager. Staff were friendly & efficient, and prices were quite reasonable. Check out the upstairs seating!

Amazing drinks and friendly staff! They have milk alternatives including almond and oat. Honey is locally sourced and the coffee beans are roasted in house and purchased through direct trade. My favorite drinks are the chai latte, London fog, and any of their seasonal drinks.

Great place to gather for coffee and work. The cubano Cappuccino was great and a new thing to try! The staff was so nice and helped me out while I was there. Will definitely be back soon-still more coffee options to try! 😁😁👍

Ive been a regular here for almost 5 years and I honestly think they have the best coffee in the city. Ive also always had great customer service on every visit.The drinks are a more subtle flavor, which I like (I dont need all the sugar that comes in the Starbucks beverages).

It’s always a great atmosphere and the baristas are very nice! The coffee is really great and you definitely get your money’s worth. I recommend the cinnamon latte, but any latte is great. It is also a great place to come and study!

This is a really nice coffee shop right near Cincinnati campus and I went here with my girlfriend and best friend and it was a nice and homey place with a nice atmosphere and inviting staff ready to take your order. There is even an upstairs! We went up there and all the seats were taken but it looked like a really nice place to study. We got dem basic vanilla drinks and they were phenomenal! I didnt order one so I stole my girlfriend shake a few times😁 great place overall!

I stopped in this morning for 2 coffees; one cold brew and one drip. The coffees are hitting the spot. I also purchased a coffee for their give a cup program. You purchase a cup for a person in need; I wanted mine to go to a stressed out grad student. I have also liked these type of programs and enjoyed their spin on it.

As an out-of-towner this place was phenom! Great coffee, great atmosphere, great staff. Coffee during the day, music and drinks at night. Board games, shuffleboard, pool, cornhole. Just awesome. Almost makes me want to stay in Cincy longer!

One of my favorites in the city! The staff is always very friendly, and the drinks delicious. They have the best iced latte, and I love the way their espresso tastes compared to others. Great atmosphere with a mix between warm and rustic, and more industrial and open. They showcase great art from around the city, and I’ve even bought a piece that I saw there. A nice place to study and work, or just grab a coffee and go. Would absolutely recommend!

This place has everything. Ethically brewed coffee, warm and cozy atmosphere, Ive never had a bad interaction with the staff, and I always seem to find a new song or two from the background tracks they play. Whether your a college student looking for a place to study, trying to grab a cup of joe while youre out on the town, or wanting to take a spicy sangarita on a little get-to-know-you date, you cant go wrong with this place!

The coffee, atmosphere and baristas were amazing. I didnt catch his name but the barista that made my drink was incredibly kind which helped me out on a day filled with sadness. The world needs more people like him. Ill definitely be visiting again!

I loved the 86! I came here to get away from my local Starbucks to study and try something that wasnt liquefied sugar. Theres plenty of outlets (especially on the 2nd floor) and the staff is great. Will definitely return & I recommend if you just want to try somewhere new!

Pretty chilled and laid back coffee shop. Hot coco was pretty good too! Only they didn’t put whipped cream in mine. I’m not complaining but the hot chocolate would be perfect if it had whipped cream. Aside from that, very nice local coffee shop!

They recently relocated to the corner right outside my apartment and I could not be happier. There is a great upstairs for studying and hanging out, filled with games and various seating areas. The staff members are always very friendly and welcoming and they make killer chai lattes and espresso. Very cool, relaxed place to get crafted beverages or to just hang out.

Great people, great coffee, and a great environment/feel. They have 2 main seating areas with different feels for whatever you need and you can watch your coffee being roasted. A well designed place with some neat elements worked in.

I love this place! Its very cozy. The staff are always friendly and prompt. The coffee is great, always hot and well prepared. The prices are reasonable. If you dont feel like sitting on your phone, they have plenty of games and books to borrow.

Service and atmosphere were perfect, but my latte was very bitter. Didnt enjoy the espresso they use. Those who put syrups and other sugars in their lattes might benefit. Will return and try a chai if they have it just because I liked the available seating.

Best coffee in Clifton. Both the espresso and the regular drip have a unique roasty flavor that Ive failed to appreciate in any other coffee Ive tried. Additionally the baristas are super friendly and the location is super cool.

Oh My Goodness!! THIS IS THE BEST COFFEE I HAVE EVER TASTED!! Im not trying to be dramatic, BUT! the Tanzanian Peabody is so yummy, delightful, balanced, and ridiculous that I moan after every sip! I have been drinking coffee all my life, and at so many venues around the U.S.. . . this is special, by far! I did have the house blend, too, the other day-- yummy, as well!! And the customer service is always fabulous!! Thank you for making my every morning special.. . . I get so excited to get up and make my coffee!

Great music, great people, and most importantly, great customer service! The people there actually talk to you like youre human, and they arent afraid to strike up a conversation. The low light setting and soft music is perfect for a night out with your girlfriend! The choices of beverages there are outstanding in quality and delicious!

I love it here theres always friendly staff good coffee and a good atmosphere. Their iced mochas are my favorite thing to get and their drink prices are on par with other coffee shops. I highly recommend, you wont regret it.

Excellent atmosphere; friendly, helpful staff. My favorite place to sit for hours and study because there are a wide range of seating options with barstools, couches, and comfortable chairs. And the coffee is delicious.

I came here looking for a warm place within walking distance from the medical campus to spend an afternoon. The red velvet hot chocolate good, if a little sweet for my tastes, but once that wore off, I had to put my coat back on because I was so cold. The music was good, and the free wifi was fine, but I wish they would spend a little more on their heating bill.

My first visit was for a coffee meeting this morning. Chris (owner) was very welcoming and the space itself felt equally welcoming as soon as I entered. The oatmeal and dirty chai (both with almond milk) were delicious and priced pretty standardly. My colleague had the house brew and commented that it tasted better than ever and we were told they just revamped it. The business runs as a non profit as well, the goal to offer a welcoming and accessible community coffee spot for the UC and Clifton community. Definitely check it out if you get the chance!

The 86 Club is an amazing place to meet friends, have business meetings, or just relax with a book alone. They have complimentary wifi and delicious shakes (Im not a coffee drinker) plus a whole host of free gamea including pool, shuffleboard, and oversized chess. There is always something to do here and it has a welcoming and cozy atmosphere, would definitely recommend to anyone!

The staff were friendly and helpful. Basically across the street from campus so an easy walk to the gym.

Went here for the first time today and its already have favorite coffee spot around campus. Spacious, welcoming, comfortable. They also dont charge extra to substitute milk for almond milk. The vibe in here is so cool. Ill defiantly have to tell my friends who perform music to look into this place. Wi-fi was also very easy to connect to, unlike other places.
