This is the “Best Authentic Coffee House in Cincinnati”!I’ve tried almost everything on menu & (including tea’s-deserts).The staff is amazing & they know my name (Elease)!!I appreciate the sincerity and the consistent kindness from the entire staff..Yes, if you want to chill and listen to some great music, and sip on your White/Dark Chocolate (Zebra)Truffle Late w/Oat Milk, you will not be disappointed!Highly endorse Coffee Emporium.
Cute coffee place with plenty of options to choose from. They have a variety of cool and hot drinks along with a great selection of baked desserts.Caramel latte with Almond milk gets 5+ stars. Excellent baristas. They also sell samples of various coffee blends if you want to try before buying a bag of bulk coffee beans. My place to visit every time I am in town.
I dont get lattes here, but they have been having flavored coffees recently that has been yum. Perfect place to sit and work on your laptop. Wish there were more large cafes like this around. I cherish it. Also I really appreciate their gluten free breakfast cookie and muffin options !!
One of our favorite local coffee shops. Any drink we’ve gotten is fantastic, lots of little snacks to choose from. They’ll also put steamed milk in your oatmeal which is 10/10 the best thing ever. We bring all our friends here when they visit!
The house medium roast was incredibly sour. Maybe some of their other coffee is better
I love their coffee. Good selection of snacks as well. Cool space.
A great selection of coffees both to drink and roasted beans to take home. The pastries were fabulous. A must stop .
A great alternative to the mermaid, great selection of coffee and tea with tasty snacks as well. The space is great for meeting up with friends, or even a lunch date. They use the space well with a combination of intimate tables and community tables spread around the room. It may look crowded but it doesnt feel it.Nice prices and good service al around.
The staff was super friendly and the setting is decent for a short refueling visit; I didnt see any stuffed furniture in the dining area and the wifi is limited to 45min so its not ideal for long-term studying. The food and coffee are really good (I had the breakfast burrito and loved it) but pretty pricey
Great venue and drinks. Very busy, but runs very smoothly and quickly. Love the vibe of the location.
I nice independent coffee shop in the edge between downtown and over the Rhine. Its been eight fire quite a while, this staying power is probably because of the solid coffee options and location. A decade ago it used to cater to the after school youth crowd from the school for creative and performing Arts. I cant imagine thats changed too much, but these days Im part of a different demographic. One that actually enjoys coffee, and so I enjoy the local roast coffee, with locally sourced pasty. My only issue with them is some hesitation over some political stances that I dont even know if the company still holds.
I dont drink coffee, but my best friend needed to stop in here to get her fix. The aroma is so delightful. They have tons of amazing treats to choose from as well as lunch options. Everything looks so great, especially the coffee cake. The stuff was okay as well.
My week is not complete without a trip to the Emporium! Great coffee and pastries, friendly/knowledgeable staff and cool industrial vibes. My go to is the bumblebee buzz with a cheese danish.
I got a chai as a drink and it had good flavor but was too far on the sweet side, I think that was what my two other friends thought of their drinks as well. BUT I did buy a bag of coffee beans and made some a couple days later and it was GOOD! I wished I lived closer so I could try another blend!
I always love coming here if Im downtown. The bumble bee buzz latte is my go-to order. My husband got the Aztec warrior mocha, which was also great!
Stop here! The cappuccino is very good as are the pastries. We stopped on our way to south Florida. They were very busy and parking isn’t always easy but they’re so kind and took their time to make us feel special. They take COVID seriously and we really felt safe. We even got some sandwiches to eat on the road. This place is on our must list if we ever drive back this way.
I ordered a SIMPLE iced latte and it tasted like overpriced dog water. Could not drink more than a sip. Very unpleased with the experience.
Very friendly workers/ Very clean.Food and beverage services very good I am there everyday Getting something pasty are fresh and good veggies muffins are very delicious.
Love this place. Great local coffee and fare.
Great place to sip on coffee and get your work done.
I like coffee emporium, Ive come here a few times, but I will be honest I havent tried a variety of items on their menu because I have a favorite sandwich that I like and I always order that, the eggplant sandwich. Some things have changed with covid, you cant sit inside and there is limited space outside to sit, maybe about four tables that seats two persons each, so now its more of a grab-and-go place. Hopefully things will change soon. The employees are always pleasant. Although I tend to order the same thing, one of my coworkers has tried a variety of items on the menu and shes never said a bad thing about any of her meals.
This place is amazing and has the best freshly roasted direct trade coffee. The cold brew, lattes and espresso are great too!!
Great local coffee with lots of awesome blends and homemade treats. A Cinci classic!
Customer service was good, line moved fast, good environment. All their food items looked good. A lot of indoor and outdoor seating. Will go back.
The coffee is great, of course, whatever you order. They offer drinks like London Fog, and other tea lattes, if you want less caffeine but more fun. The decor was redone a couple years ago and I love the space - its very spacious, with areas to meet quietly, have lunch, or work independently.
Nice place, friendly service, pricey, yet the basic coffee was good for $2. 🤠
I love this place!!! Loved their 2020 Xmas collection this past year with very cute mugs and delicious coffee selections. I also love to get in and get a good cappuccino or a latte. Recently I tried their peach-flavored cheese danish and that was honestly the best pastry Ive ever had. I wish they were in Clifton too since I would probably walk there everyday.
Really loved my coffee. The store was clean, organized, and got my order done quickly. Their blended drinks are great, and their coffee bean selection was very large. Will definitely return next time Im in Cincinnati!
This place is delectable. Finally found good coffee in Cincy. This is the place!
Awesome espresso, friendly staff, always a good selection of bakery/lunch options. Can be very busy during peak hours, but line moves quickly and they are doing a wonderful job of adhering to COVID guidelines while serving such a large quantity of people. Indoor dining is closed, but they do have some outdoor seating
Excellent white chocolate mocha and savory scone. Definitely recommend!
Excellent beans and fresh made drinks. We also enjoyed a warm cinnamon roll that was great. They were busy, but it seems like they know how to move people through in a fast and friendly manner.
Nice, mellow atmosphere. My macchiato was pretty well done, although the cleanliness of the place (including the dishes) was a little bit off.It is a large place with plenty of places to sit, which makes sense since lot of people seem to go there to eat. We only stopped by for food. The menu was simple with no big surprises, but featured your normal coffee staples. I think Ill be back to try out more drinks. You can also buy bulk coffee by weighing it yourself and even grinding it right there. I think its a good idea to give people a chance to try a few smaller bags of their own preference, rather than having to get 12oz of one kind. I would, however, question the freshness a little - the bulk coffee seemed to be in large plastic containers and unless customers are careful, the coffee could get stale pretty quickly.
I found their coffee at my local Krogers. I fell in love with their roasting. It was probably some of the best coffee I have had in the past 10+ years. My wife and I decided to head down to the main store in OTR and see if we could get it for less than the K was selling it.....nope it was $2 more per pound. I was interested in buying smaller amounts of some of the coffee to try before commiting to a full pound but I saw no one engaged with the customers other than the ones at the cash register. I might have bought more otherwise. Ultimately I am still going to purchase their coffee just not directly.
Incredible coffee, friendly staff, beautiful location. Come visit this place!!!
Quaint coffee lounge with eclectic garage sale furniture, concrete floors, but warm colors, soft-glow lighting. Nice coffee and food selection for reasonable prices. Some gluten-free options. My wife really enjoyed the gluten free pumpkin muffin (pictured). Free Wi-Fi. Also enjoyed the gentle swaying melancholic indipop music and the subdued millennial generation crowd who were interacting with both their devices and the actual people around them.
Definetly one of the better coffee houses in Cincinnati. Certainly better than your neighborhood Starbucks!
So many fun options, will be returning when I come back to Cincinnati!
Was asked to wear a mask even though Im fully vaccinated and following CDC guidelines. Just hate seeing such a good place not trust the experts and deny science.
I really appreciate the consistency of how well they make their drinks, always perfect. The staff is the nicest of any shop I have visited in Cincinnati. I highly recommend this place! Also, the vegan brownies are fabulous.
The Aztec warrior is amazing!
Absolutely GREAT! Clean friendly service great cup of joe! Outside seating as well!
This is by far the BEST coffeehouse I’ve yet to experience in Ohio. Before taking anything extra into account, the coffee itself is delicious, the mocha is the best mocha I can remember having, ever. It’s a fairly large open place with a good amount of seating that keeps a cozy vibe, but can get busy and loud quickly. The baristas are very warm and welcoming, and although I didn’t have any food, they had a good variety of pastries and lunch items that looked fresh and delicious. If you’re in the area I highly recommend.
LOVE coffee emporium. It is me and my mom’s absolute favorite spot. We love all of the baristas - they know us personally and make us feel welcomed. The breakfast burritos and oatmeal are incredible. & we love the coffee too!!!
Great coffee good place for a business meeting
The Coffee Emporium is far superior to any other coffee shop. The prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The service is fast. The baristas dont mess around. They power through all orders quickly. I get a black eye large coffee, which is 4 shots of espresso. They make that and hand it to me in a large cup, which I then fill from the four large vats of different coffee du jour at the end of the counter. Then, they have all the things. Creamers, sugars, honey, cinnamon, chocolate. All, the things. There are tables and chairs. Pick a spot. And there are couches and coffee tables. Which makes for a nice relaxed atmosphere to enjoy your beverage. They also have a good selection of pastries and cookies. Maybe other foods too but I havent checked. Highly recommended.
By far my favorite coffee shop in Cincinnati. The atmosphere and vibes are wonderful. Coffee and drinks are great, food and pastries are also excellent. I usually get a mocha and the blueberry muffin (to die for) and the black bean veggie burger. SO good.
Baristas are always so nice! Drinks are always done well. Always a place to hit up when Im in town.
Best coffee shop in cincinnati hands down.
Good coffee. Great people.
Amazing little coffee shop, they can have some long lines some mornings, but it’s for good reason
Wintetberry Mocha very good! Too bad all their indoor seating was closed off. Surely SOME of the seating could have been made available :/
Great coffee, vegan local chocolate. Dont miss the brownie!
I love the coffee. I love blended style, for myself. So, I get the mudslide. It has plenty of espresso and tastes so good.
This is one of Cincinnatis quintessential businesses and a really fabulous coffee shop! We regularly visit and buy coffee beans to take home. Their main kitchen is at this location, so the food is nice and fresh. Its normally busy with people from all over. During quarantine they are takeout only.
