Asked for a diagnostic to be performed on my car and was advised it costs $50 and would be done prior to repair. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, I inquired on the results and was told they found nothing wrong besides the belt that being repaired. When I was handed my receipt, I asked was there anything verifying the diagnostic and was told there was no print out it was more of a visual diagnostic. So when I started my car, my boyfriend noticed my right headlight was out. I guess no one visually saw THAT in the diagnostic! So he went inside to ask about it and why it wasnt resolved at which point the shop guy sent the clerk to ask whether it was the low or high beam that was out and my boyfriend responded to look in the system to what her diagnostic report said! They then said we had 2 other people ahead of us and they would bring it in and look at it AFTER having my car for a week! They pulled it back in the repair shop about 15 minutes later, then had the clerk call me after 5 minutes and say I would need a need headlight assembly not just a bulb and they didnt have that in stock, it would take 2 days to get it but she could get us a price. They then drove my car back to the front. The clerk called me again and said the assembly total cost would be $657 and we could make a deposit when we were ready to order before bringing the car back in. Later, my Uncle decided to look at the headlight to see if maybe he could get the bulb working in the meantime but when he went under the hood, not only is there NO BULB, theres also NO WIRES to connect a bulb AT ALL!!! They pulled EVERYTHING out of the headlight and didnt say one word except order a new headlight assembly!!!! WASTE OF $50!

I want to take a moment and say how much of a wonderful customer service I received yesterday and how wonderful Ms. Stacie Buchanan was in helping me as I wanted to add my Grandkids on to my AAA membership. I can not be more please with how nice she was and how great the customer service was. If you ever need help ask for Ms. Buchanan...shes wonderful..Thank you..
Very helpful service reps. Prepared trip ticket and found a couple of addresses I didnt have. Provided info on covid issues and where to get info on website. Excellent customer service and very pleasant attitude. Highly recommend this AAA office.

This place is a hidden jewel. I went in to renew my international drivers license and the staff was excellent. No appointment necessary, in and out on 30 minutes, then off to Spain.. I go back to book my next vacation.

If you need assistance with booking or researching Airlines/fares, dont bother. We assumed that being a travel agent they could be of assistance. Simply speaking, they were not--and moreover, they seemed bothered that we even asked. Save yourself the aggravation and time--go somewhere else or use expedia!
People there are very friendly and helpful. We needed international drivers license and they were able to do them for us in less than 30 minutes.
I went in here to find out about a trip for my family. I was greeted when I walked in the door and helped. The whole staff was professional and very informative. I was very impressed with them and glad I was doing business with them.

I find it remarkable that AAA does not have an insurance agent available to purchase a new insurance policy on a Saturday. This included the 800-number I tried to call as well, their national office. Many people purchase autos on Saturdays, and I do hope someone reads this from AAA. If they cannot meet the needs of customers who want a new policy, maybe they should stick to planning travel and leave the insurance sales business. I am currently an AAA member, and my friend purchased a car today, Saturday (AM), I recommended AAA but could not get a policy until Monday. He wanted to take the car off the lot today, so he went with high-priced Geico. AAA needs to rethink this issue and offer a better customer experience. I am thinking of leaving them due to this issue.
The folks at the AAA office in Chesapeake are very friendly and helpful. They offer excellent benefits for members, including travel agency services, free guidebooks and maps, foreign currency exchange, international drivers permits, emergency auto service for dead batteries, disabled vehicles, car lock-outs and more.

I was charged 1 hour labor of over 100.00 for checking if current was reaching my fuel pump. My car was not moved inside or any labor was done to make this educated diagnosis, just and ohm reader and a five second walk. There was no diagnostic check report given. An absolute rip off. AAA should be shame for overcharging its customers. We do not recommend.

My daughter and I went to the office today to speak with a travel agent about planning a trip to the Carribean. After speaking with the agent, we stepped away from the desk to think about finalizing our decision. When we returned to let her know that we wanted to go ahead with the reservations, she had left the desk. So we asked the women at the front if it was ok for us to sit back down at the desk and wait for the agent to return. She said no because they had been having problems with people stealing from the desk (there was nothing even remotely valuable on the desk). She walked away and left us standing there. Needless to say, we decided to take our business elsewhere. We also managed to find a much better deal! Customer service, hospitality and common courtesy are clearly not important at this establishment. I am so disgusted that I have been a loyal customer with AAA for over 20 years, however I will be cutting all ties with this organization.
