I purchased a set of tires and they were able to nest all them the same day. Percy was very kind and professional, and assisted me in selecting the proper tires for my car. I appreciate that he didn’t rush me as I was deciding which brand of tire to buy. I will definitely go back for an oil change when my next one is due. It’s hard to find good customer service these days. That’s why I give this place 5 stars.

We were on vacation in Chesapeake, VA when our check oil light came on. I drove to at least 5 different oil specialty service centers on a Monday morning. Not one of them said they could get me in before 5pm or even the next day. As I was due back to work on Tuesday, that wasnt an option for me. I just happened to see Tire Choice Auto Service as I was driving to try yet another oil specialty service center. (One thing I can say about Chesapeake, VA is that they dont lack in oil service centers!) Not only were they (Tire Choice Auto) able to get me in (and they didnt look like they lacked any business), they had my cars oil changed, tires checked (because I asked them to) and battery checked (which I also requested.) They said the tires and battery were fine and only charged me for the oil change. They even gave me a $15 discount on their services! Knowing that we were from out of state, they totally could have taken advantage of the fact that I thought perhaps my tires needed rotating or replacing and that perhaps my battery had some issues. I found them to be extremely honest and reliable. I would highly recommend their place to anyone! (Turns out they were correct about the tires and battery, too.)

The location on Battlefield Blvd in Chesapeake, Va has the best employees. Steven and Richard are top notch professionals and know their stuff. They are honest and really look out for their customers. I called Saturday morning to schedule for an oil change and my 100,000 mile service. They said to bring it in. I was surprised when they had it finished by the end of the day. I wont take my car anywhere else.

I brought in four new tires to be installed and get an alignment. Upon walking in, the manager (Steven Hoffius) was very friendly. I turn my keys over to him and the tech (either K. Marshall or R. McReynolds) took my car in. I had informed them that I had rotated the tires myself a week earlier just using hand tools and a torque wrench, so I know the lug nuts were not swollen or already damaged. After two hours, I was told the tech was having trouble with my lug nuts. I decided to walk outside and see how he was doing. I watched him literally hammering a socket onto my lug nuts (he was on the last tire at this point). I walked around my car and saw that ALL of my lug nuts had severe damage. I walked back to the waiting room not saying a thing. An hour later, they said I was ready to go. The manager told me the cost and I requested that he subtract $60 due to the damages. He then walked out to see what I was talking about. This is when I notice the tech actually hit my wheels a couple times. Ford factory 20 wheels cost $900 a piece. He then removed the cost of the install and I only paid for the alignment. Not all techs at Tire Choice are terrible techs, but a tech that thinks he has to hammer on a socket to lug nuts has no place in the automotive technician profession.

I was running errands this afternoon when I inconveniently popped a tire. (Then again, when is it ever convenient to pop a tire?) Steve could hear the desperation in my voice and offered immediate help, even though they were obviously busy. First rate customer service, a friendly (definitely entertaining) atmosphere while waiting, and a stellar protection plan will keep me coming back for every popped tire! Thanks, guys!

I had the pleasure of getting multiple services done and Richard took the time to explain what I needed and updated me as they worked on my car. In addition, he kept it real with me and I left feeling relieved. I would definitely recommend.

We were greeted and asked about what service was needed as soon as we entered. I made an appointment to get two tires for my SUV. I answered two questions, handed over the keys, mileage was checked and that was it. Service was completed in about 30 min. Very professional. Very friendly. Waiting area was very clean. This was my second service there and I will return.

Different name, different group of personnel with the same level of honesty, competence and customer service that I have received from this location for the better part of 10 years.. The latest interaction was with my sons Jeep. We took it in for a safety inspection and had a couple of issues addressed, there was one item that was overlooked on my part and when I reached out to Micheal several days later he and the crew went above and beyond to get the vehicle back on the road. I continue to highly recommend them for any work and I trust them not to take advantage.

I was thoroughly satisfied with the service I received for my son car which was a 2010 Audi 04 I did not have time to take it to the Aldi store they were able to get us in in a reasonable time and service the car as need. Will be back next month for my car inspection.

So around 4:00 p.m. yesterday (Sunday), I had my kids with me and ran over something in the road and immediately heard air coming out of the tire. I was a bit panicked so I drove straight to Tread Quarters on Battlefield Boulevard. Even though they were packed busy, and it was almost closing, they not only got me in, but repaired my tire while we waited. This could have been a terrible experience being stranded, but due to the manager and team, it was not. Great attitudes all around! Kudos to that location.

The guy who helped us was nice. The place was clean. Great reviews!Beware***Tires were changed July 5th before road trip. 2 tired only on an AWD BMW. 30 minutes into the road trip the tire pressure light came on and we had go pull over to fill tires. The air in the front tire was 26. They didn’t check the air.Problem 2: They put NO caps on the new tires!Problem 3: 3.5 hours into the trip the car breaks down. The engine light comes on and the AWD and transfer case fault codes pop up. We take it to the mechanic who told us today the reason the car is messing up is because only 2 tires were changed. Any person working with cars should know that you need 4 new tires. The BMW is so sensitive, the tires they put on were larger and it caused massive confusion. We were driving 4.5 hours with this. The last leg of the trip was awful. Going 30mph because we didn’t want to damage the car.We took it to Mr. Tire here where we live and he said he’s shocked that happened. Whenever people with AWD only want 2 new tires, he makes them sign a disclosure saying they are aware of potential consequences.Im unsure why this place never mentioned anything at all. I bought this car used and so it’s my first AWD. I had no idea about this. The more research I’ve done, the more apparent that this seems like a no brainer.I wouldn’t have left a review although I was disappointed about them not checking the air and also leaving off tire caps after paying hundreds of dollars.But following my visit with the mechanic today, I need to leave a review to warn anyone with a German car or AWD, not to go here and take your car to a specialist because these people either don’t know or don’t care. They just want the business. I hope my car is not permanently damaged. We will see after I get 2 new tires the way I should have done.

Have been going here for years when it was Tread Quarters and was very happy with them. This was my first time back since they changed ownership and it will be my last. Made an appointment for oil change and inspection the previous evening, got a confirmation, showed up and waited 15 minutes for someone to come up front wait on me. Rep was totally indifferent, said he didnt see any appointment and to come back tomorrow. Worst customer service Ive encountered in a very long time. Now Im reading reviews that pretty much say the same thing. Sad. They used to have great service. No more.

They are not my regular mechanics but when I need state inspections, alignments, checks ect ect tread quarters are my go to shop. Theyll usually price match on certain services. I usually drop my vehicle off so I cannot comment on speed but positive overall outlook of them and their shop. Always busy...seems to be more demand than supply!Friendly staff, knowledgeable and clean environment. Pretty convenient location too. Rite aid is next door if you want to walk and grab a snack or something.

Richard arranged to repair my tire and loaned me an umbrella to get over to the hospital. Car repaired, reasonable price and excellent service.

Dropped off my car for a state inspection at opening. They told me they had cars that were never complete from the day before which should have been a red flag. They said they would call me when it was ready. I never received a call back and when I called the next day during store hours, no one answered the phone. They do not even have a messaging system that states store hours, or even to just leave a message. Im giving this shop a 1 star for no/poor communication, dismal efficiency for a service that should be pretty quick, long wait, and no messaging system.

This is the only place I take my car if I need something done. Everyone is extremely friendly, helpful, and professional! I know that they will always take good care of my car and not try to overcharge for services.

Went in for a simple State inspection. Was told it would take a couple hours due to being busy so I figured 2 and half, 3 hours tops. Nope, took 4 and still ended up sitting there waiting. Best part(sarcastically of course), I went to leave, got about half a block down the road (not even to the Taco Bell thats right there) and my hood flies up, bending(damaged) the hood, and cracked the windshield. The mechanic who did the inspection said he closed the hood but obviously did not as Ive never had any issues. Will not be returning except to give them a bill for the damage they have caused. I cant trust them to make sure my hood is closed, why would I want them to replace my windshield? I would not recommend going here unless you want to leave with more problems then you came in with.

Great and very fast service. I feel bad because I lost my receipt with the name on it and I promised the guy a review to thank him. He was very helpful and nice. My state inspection was supposed to be done in 4-5 hours because I had cars ahead of me but because I was with my wife and kid and we were heading to an appointment, he got me taken care of and within 45 minutes, my car was ready to go with a 100% successful inspection. I also got a $5 discount and only paid 15 dollars. I was in bad mood when I went there, I left so happy.

This is the first car care center that I trust to work on foreign cars. I trust them with alignments on BMWs MERCEDES, AUDI and more. Additionally their customer service and repair time is amazing.

Richard and crew did a great job installing a set of Toyo Proxes 4 Plus tires on my Suzuki at a very competitive price. The TPMS sensors would not tether to the car properly after the install, and they went the extra distance to troubleshoot the problem and put out the TPMS System warning light. Thanks for all this!

I know where to go for my tire needs

Went in because I needed my stem changed on my tire and also to put air in my spare. I was done in a timely manner and they let me know what the problems were with my tire. And the took great care of me and excellent customer service Ill be going back to them if I need anything done. And it was my first time going and they did the repair for free.

I do not recommend this place. I went online and scheduled an appointment with a quote on new tires. Then recieved two confirmation emails verifying my appointment and quote. I get the before the appointment only to be told that they dont have the tires I was quoted and was immediately up sold other tires. After sitting there for over hour and watching a few other cars that arrived after me, I asked for my keys. When I asked for the keys, of course I was told my truck was next. Seriously? Whats the point of scheduling an appointment.

I got an oil change recently and the staff was really nice and they did a good job with my car. And then tonight I went by to have my tire looked at and Steven was more than willing to drive my car around to see if he noticed any weird noises or it driving weird. When he didn’t hear anything wrong he tightened the tire just in case. He went out of his way although the tire hadn’t initially been changed there. I will definitely be going back for my next oil change service.

They get to the problems others have missed. The dealership gave me a list, when the engine light came on i took it to T.Q.s. They checked out the vehicle and the problem they found hadnt even be listed and the pricing seems fair. They answered my questions and have always seemed up front. They even update me on things to watch for with the upcoming seasonal changes. I dont feel like Im getting the runaround, just the facts. Couldnt ask for too much more.

Very honest and reliable. Excellent customer service! I recommend setting up an appointment as they are in high demand, as they should be! But even when I havent had an appointment they are always very accommodating. Costs are also very reasonable. We have been taking our vehicles to Richard and Tread Quarters since moving to Chesapeake ten years ago. Richard and the team at Tread Quarters are so dependable, and they have REAL ethics in the work they do and the prices they charge. They never gouge us, theyre always right there and willing to work with us on whatever we need. I just had them replace pretty much the whole front end of my car after my daughter wrecked it - they were able to find all the parts, including the bumpers and fender, put in brand new headlights, and its back to running just great from their constant care whenever I need maintenance. I cant recommend this team enough. Never had a shop I could trust like these guys.

I got a flat tire and called Threat Quarters at 6:40 pm to talk tire prices etc. They asked me to come in just to see if they could patch it. They close at 7pm, but didnt mind staying longer just to check my car out. By 7 pm, they were patching up my tire!! Theyre amazing!! I got oil change done with them a couple months back and they have decent prices, great staff (!!!!) and a very nice waiting area! They even have blocks for the kiddos!

Took my 2016 2500 Duramax to this shop by recommendations from Mike Thompson. Manager Richard and technician Conrad did excellent job. My truck is still under bumper to bumper warranty but dealer was booked two weeks out during tax season few weeks ago and I was taking this truck cross country within a week. Conrad fixed my AC line that broke due to something rubbing through the aluminum line and also covered those lines with fuel line hose zip tied so it wouldnt happen again. I really appreciated the extra thought he put into it. I highly recommend this shop and this tech everything looks like it should under the hood nothing was broken in process. Thanks again Ill be returning here to have Conrad do other items if needed.Having good technician like Conrad is really game changer for your shop, you need to keep him and treat him well because he does outstanding work.

Just had EXCEEDINGLY SUPERB work done on my vehicle by their NUMBER ONE mechanic, Conrad. He lives up to his reputation. Not only is he a Master Mechanic who can repair ANY vehicle, but he is as honest as they come and explains what he did to to the vehicle. I not only recommend Tread Quarters right across from Chesapeake General Hospital, but I also recommend Conrad to do the work. He will get your car running smoother than when it came in!!!

Went in for low pressure, I had recently purchased tires and wanted to make sure they were in good working order. Associate showed me a piece of metal that was the cause, couldnt be patched or plugged Because I had the hazard coverage, I paid $60 for a new tire, which was pretty much the cost of hazard for the new tire and tax. Will continue to give this store my business.

Just left this Tread Quarters and Richard and Steve they provided me with amazing service. They were considerate and made sure I was able to accomplish my task for today. My only complaint is my missing car charger and cord are now missing
