I have used Doctor Honda in Chesapeake for over twelve years with no problems. I was a regular customer and took all three of my Hondas there for service. Apparently Doug, the previous owner has retired and sold the business to a new owner who has replaced all of the former employees. I called to get an estimate on replacing both front end lower control arms and was given an estimate of $1600. I called a local Honda dealer and was told that the cost was $676 and included the alignment. And just like that, I am no longer a Doctor Honda customer.

Came in to have an intermittent AC issue diagnosed and repaired. Was told the next day that it worked fine and because it wasnt the original motor there wasnt anything else they could do (even though its the factory oem AC system that came with the car) . When I checked the dash cam on my car it showed a very young tech drive my car around the block maybe 5 minutes, bring it back in a bay and proclaimed the AC is fine.No pressure check, just a good old hand in front of the vent for a minute. Ive never heard of a tech having to drive a car around to diagnose an AC issue. Only giving 2 stars because at least they didnt try to charge me for wasting my time. Maybe they do good work in other areas but these guys dont know much about AC systems and it shows.

Very sad to find out when I brought my vehicle in for routine maintenance that Doug has retired and his staff was replaced. . Dont know what happened to them. I quess the new owner didnt want to keep such valuable employees as Dina and Matt. Such a shame. I was not to pleased when I got my bill that the prices have gone up after I was paying the same price for years. Something for me to think about if my car needs maintenance again.

Its so refreshing to know that there are still some honest people/businesses around that are not trying to take advantage of customers. At Doctor Honda, youre going to get great service at fair prices. I look forward to the day that I can utilize their services again.

Everyone is extremely friendly. My issue was quickly diagnosed, and I was offered options for the repair. The work was completed the next day after the part arrived, and my car is working immaculately. The prices are very reasonable. I had a myriad of questions that were answered, and they even turned me down on some repairs that ended up not being necessary. It is evident that they have the customers best interest in mind. Theyre not here to rip you off. Im definitely coming back!

Whoever he is he knows dam well he should have charged me for the information he told me over the phone. I have never been a client and all I did was call to find out why my car was acting up. Because of his information I didn’t have to take my car to any dealership or anywhere he told me exactly what to do and saved me a lot of time and money. If I have any other problems I will not hesitate to bring my car to him. Just off of him telling me what to do to my car over the phone there’s no way you cannot trust this man. 2003 Honda accord 256,000 miles

Great customer service And fair pricing. Honest and up front. Knew I was in good hands before I got there. Once I got there other customers spoke highly of Dr. Honda. Only had transmission fluid replaced but they took the extra time to diagnose another issue I couldnt pinpoint with my car and took the extra effort to teach me a little about my car and what it would take to fix on my own. Highly trusted and recommended.

Unless its under a dealership warranty, Im not sure why youd take a Honda anywhere else.They have competitive pricing amd dont start work without consulting you first.

I have been here several times for different issues on my 2000 Civic and theyve always known what was wrong and just how to fix it. They do an awesome job and are very honest. Id recommend to anyone with a Honda!

Dr Honda is proffesional, quick, and inexpensive. Normally you have to choose 2 of the three of those.

Honest and reliable, Doug has worked on both my older hondas. They communicate very well I always know what is going on, whats wrong, and how much it is gonna cost. They use quality oem parts so it may be a little more costly than napa junk, but well worth it. Tuners dont expect him to put a b series in your crx shell it is not that kind of shop. Will continue to bring my hondas here.-Adam
