I took my car to this place. I needed a new transmission. They access the problem and then explained in detailed what needed to be done. He also quoted the price. After leaving my car there a few days, my car drives so good. I appreciate the great service they did. Thank you Hi Tech. Plus they have payment option.

I brought my Nissan Versa Note here for problems with my transmission. Little did I know that my car has an unusual type of transmission. It may have been a challenge for other shops but not for Hi-Tech. The owner is very knowledgeable and knew exactly how to fix my transmission. I am very pleased with the work done. My car runs like new.

My dealings with this business was a total failure on every level. Poor communication, terribly over priced parts and poor quality work. I needed my car back asap so I approved thier initial quote. Then they kept calling needing more and more parts and money for labor. I approved the work and eventually got my car back. It hasnt been a year and the thier work is already needing to be replaced. You wouldnt think it could break with the almost 5 times higher priced than average parts the used but here we are. I called and got nowhere. I emailed got nothing. Please check your quote prices before you approve work and get a written warranty. My guess is youll need it.

I dropped off my vehicle around 3 weeks prior to finally deciding to get it towed elsewhere. Reason for terminating services with this business is the lack of professionalism and down right rude customer service. There was little to no communication, but what communication was received had a lot of attitude attached. I was told I would receive a diagnostic on my truck within a few days and here we are 3 weeks later with none of the issues relayed to me despite asking many times. Last Friday they were finally able to get a parts list of what is to be replaced and repaired, I continued to ask if they could tell me what parts and what issues my transmission has. The front desk worker then decided to get irate with me and raised his voice telling me that telling me the parts and issues were not worth his time and I wouldn’t know what he was talking about anyways. This then proceeded to him yelling louder even though I continued to try and calm him down time and time again. It ultimately ended in my parts getting boxed up, truck being towed elsewhere, and around 700$ in unnecessary expenses out of my pocket. For the sake of your time and your wallet do not use this business.

I would recommend this shop to absolutely anyone that is needing work done on a vehicle the staff is awesome they explain everything to you and the manager is awesome as well he will not let you leave unless you are happy with the work so Id come get your car repairs here

Well I wanted to trust them and the process but a 15 min engine light diagnostic took 7 hours, when I took my car in on Friday at 10 am and had to call them at 5, then told me they would start working my car Monday …. I went to get my car for the weekend only to realize my charger was stolen out of my car …. So it’s not going back …

Things are tough right now and it’s taking longer for everything. I just talked to Jason about my old Mercury Sable. They fixed my transmission and I took it back because I thought it was broke again. I was wrong, it was my flywheel. Even though I had given them a little bit of a hard time they offered to fix it free of charge because of my wait. That’s the kind of people they are.

Very knowledgeable about what needed to be done to fix my truck. Told me every step of the way what was needed to fix my issue and what caused my issues. Had it ready to go in no time even during a national gas shortage. Will return for future work and will highly recommend to anyone.

I took my 2009 Chevy Cobalt in last year for a transmission rebuild. My car is still under warranty and there was a slight transmission leak unfortunately it was due to a seal that went bad. I took my car in today and Im still very impressed with the work that high tech transmission does. I know a lot of people get upset in regards of not getting their car back in a timely manner, but you have to think that with all this covid and all the weather and everything that that is what keeps them from getting your vehicle back to you in a short time. If you want quality work and a job well done I recommend high tech transmission. DO NOT GO HERE!! Absolute worst shop around. Took almost 3 months to get parts that were estimated to take a week at first. Then after get the parts came in we already had a lean against our car because we didnt pay the bill. One simple fix turned into a bunch of excuses and lies, the owner Jason is not the most honest guy. Hes full of exscuses. By no means decide to go here, youll thank me later.

***WARNING**** DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!! My transmission is tore apart in the back of my husbands truck and my car is on the back of a tow truck. They are crooks. All they do is tear your transmission down, and wait for you to get tired of it being there so they can charge you for the breakdown. Which was $500. They have had my car for almost two weeks and all they did was do the breakdown. We called almost everyday for an update and all they could tell us was that they had it tore apart and they were waiting for the parts guy to call them and let them know how much the part is. They couldn’t tell us what was wrong with it and they had it tore down but they were waiting for the parts guy on a price? They also said that you can’t go to the part store and buy any of these parts and because of covid it could longer than 4 weeks to fix it. The cop and the tow truck driver said they have both been to this same place a lot for the same reasons. The good reviews of this place are phony.

I wish I could give 0 stars. How do you manually diagnose something?, & on top of that, they had the nerve to get an attitude because I was asking about my car. When I got it back, I still had the same problem, nothing was fixed. They got $1210.75 for doing absolutely nothing. I had a light blue altima. They said, my battery needed to be charged, so they could diagnose it, so they just decided to MANUALLY diagnose it. Nope, Brainerd rd and when I asked for my old parts, I was told, I dont know where theyre, its been months. You all didnt do ANYTHING to my car, simple as that. You got paid for nothing.

Paid almost 4000 for them to rebuild my transmission...1 year an 2 months later transmission went out again only put 5800 miles on the rebuild transmission.called an talked to the owner for him too tell me oh well i can pay him again for the same work..on top of that i guess you have to take the driver side tire off too get the transmission out an they didnt put a 3 dollar bolt back in that you can only get from the dealerthe tire unit an tore up 275 worth of damage...took the invoice repair too Jason an showed him where i payed for the repair an told him dont worry about it things happen because i honestly thinking they where good people..now look at me SMH

I am very happy with the service provided at Hi- tech transmission & Auto Center . I bought my Viechle in because my car would shut off when slowing down or coming to a Stop. This had me going crazy. I then dropped my car of at Hi tech transmissions & Auto Center. They ran test / diagnostic on there machines. Once they completed test they went over with me what was the cause. I’m so happy they took the time to explain the cause, what’s needed for repair and the cost of the repair.NO SURPRISES......... I have used this shop many times for automotive repair work over the last 8 years. I live in the brainerd area and it is convenient to my home. They have performed several repairs for me and I have not had any trouble out of the work they have done. I have also sent freind so and family and a few members from my church here. All have been satisfied with the repairs. I originally met them because I was searching for a better price on a repair job from another shop.

A little over a year ago I had my old 1976 Ford F250 transmission rebuilt. When I first got it back I wasn’t completely satisfied with the work. But, being in the car business I also know that things happen and sometimes vehicles need to be driven to wear in.We all agreed that I would do that and let them know if there was any issues after a few months.I drove it for close to 6 months and I definitely knew that there was something not right. I brought the vehicle back and true to their word they made it right.Internal hard parts are no longer made for this old of a transmission but we worked together to find what we needed and they took care if it.I will recommend this shop to anyone that needs transmission rebuilding.

Beware.. Jason always has an excuse. Why they are taking so long to rebuild the transmission, why it cost more money, and after it took weeks to get the car back and taking back to them a few times, it still broke down. They don’t care about doing a good job. They don’t care about people, they talk to people so rude .

Took my car here because another shop said that i needed a new transmission and that it was going to be 4000 dollars. I called Jayson at hi tech and he said that it sounded like it could just be a electrical switch of some kind that was affecting the transmission. I took it by the shop and he didnt charge me anything to diagnose the transmission. Turns out that it was just the transmission relay located in the fuse panel box. I paid for the relay which was about 10 bucks and he plugged it in for me because it just took a second to do it. Wow, to think i almost bought a transmission and these guys save me from doing that very thing. Honest guys here and their parking lot stays full all the time. Now i see why. They know their stuff and they are honest. They said that they do other work to so im bringing my car back for other stuff thats needed later.

I had my car towed to another shop for an engine problem and the diagnosis was a bad engine and the price for the repair was over $3000.I called Hi-Tech and got a price over the phone that was cheaper so Hi-Tech towed my car to his shop for the repair.Before beginning the repair Jason had his guys do their own diagnosis. It turned out to be a bad starter not a bad engine. I am grateful to Hi-Tech for saving me Hundreds of Dollars and got me on the road the same day.I highly recommend these guys for any Auto Repair.

These guys are some of the most knowledgeable transmission and electrical guys in Chattanooga Tennessee. They have fixed a transmission for me that shifted better than it did wen it was new and my daughter took her car there to fix and electrical problem that had already been to two shops and nobody could fix it but these guys did. Wonderful job these guys do but they stay swamped with work.

HI- TECH Transmission and auto repair saved me frustrastion, time, and money. I went to East Ridge Transmission only because of a warranty (I had a bad experience with them previously). To my shock they were giving me the runaround again and HI- TECH literally came to my trucks rescue. They were able to fix what needed repair on my work truck the day they rescued it. If it wasnt for them I would have had to wait at least an extra 2 days to fix a problem that should have already been taken care of.Jason was very professional and calm when I called him in desperate need. This shop beat the price of every other shop on a transmission rebuild I was In need of. They also set me up on a payment plan with the work so because of that I had them fixed some other things on the car. Overall I’m pleased with the service and my payment was only 160 per month. They debit it from my checking account. It took some time to get it all fixed like I wanted but it was worth it.

My transmission went out in my 2009 Chevy cobalt. Picked my car up a little over 2 weeks ago, the quality of work they did is awesome. It took almost 3 months to get her back, but it was due to the covid19. Since getting my car back I have been very pleased with the work. They tore my transmission apart to let me know what was wrong with her. Lets just say a front wheel drive transmission takes a real professional to work on it and do the job right... long story short, ahead is there on her 2 week check up. There is slight linkage problem with her going in drive but thats why they ask that you bring your car in for a 2 week check up. They go over the car thoroughly, check the fluid, etc.. they are good honest mechanics. I would recommend them to anyone.. also its hard to find a mechanic that does front wheel drive transmissions and knows what they are doing. I also want to add, when you have a major repair done on your vehicle you have to drive it for a short time.. the vehicle needs time to run and read properly.. SO YES I RECOMMEND HITECH TRANSMISSION AND THIS IS NOT PAID OR FAKE REVIEW. IF YOU WANT THE JOB DONE RIGHT TAKE.YOUR CAR THERE AND NOTE THIS QUALITY WORK DOES TAKE TIME..

Took my truck in to have some work with a free transmission diagnostic coupon. Was told I couldnt use that bc they had to actually take transmission apart. He said 350 for that plus whatever parts would be. Didnt hear from him for a week. I called him and he said holidays was what had it behind and it would be about a week. Wait a week and a half and call bc I heard nothing. Price jumped up to $2600. He said it would be done in 2 days. I call him back 5 days later and its still not done he says another couple days. Finally go get it and the price again jumped to $3542. I pay that and take my truck. Had it a week now and its making a new noise that it wasnt before plus Ive had a couple things stolen out of my truck. Terrible everything from communication to service. Will not be using again for anything.

I went to east ridge transmission to begin with and they quoted me an outrageous price for a transmission replacement. I called me Jason at hi tech and he offered to check it for free before replacing the transmission. Turns out it was just a speed sensor. Hi tech fixed it for 289 dollars. East ridge/ speedy transmission told me four grand to replace my transmission when I didn’t even need one. Take your stuff to hi tech. They are very thorough and Jason is a nice guy too.

I had my transmission repaired and they put me on a twelve month no interest payment with it and the work they did was excellent. They seem to take a lot of pride in their work . I definitely got an amazing deal. Jayson, the owner, was extremely professional, kind and courteous. He got me taken care of immediately, and my wait was not long at all. The prices were reasonable for the product/services that I purchased. The staff were really great, very friendly and were working very hard to take care of all of the customers. Im not from this area Im from Georgia but I had a loose rear end bolt and not knowing any shops I stopped by HI-TECH to see the damage. I walked inside and Joy at the front desk immediately greeted me and asked to see my Miata. He had no problem taking me in and making me feel at home, this also was the best looking mechanic shop I have been to. Joy hooked it up and even though all their lifts were being used he still took care of me as quickly as I walked in.5 stars because of the hospitality and shop. Thanks Joy!

Worst auto repair decision of my life. Spent $1,700+ for a transmission for my Suburban. Transmission was insalled in November and stopped working the first time in December. I was working on a project in Florida and had to arrange transport to shop in Chattanooga to have repairs completed under warranty. Long story short within the six month warranty I had to have transmission repaired 4 times. Transmission went out a 5 time but warranty had expired. This shop is Garbage. Terrible workmanship and Jayson offered terrible customer service. Run for the hills.

Jason is very dishonest. He was extremely rude to me on the phone. My phone call was in disbelief. Jason took my sons transmission under the expectation of $300.00 plus parts. He said he would remove the cap to evaluate the transmission. When my son called for the results he then changed the amount to $1900.00 . My son went to pick up his transmission for obvious reasons, and was given boxes of a dismantled transmission, Complete Dismantled, returned in boxes. I called Jason, absolutely obnoxious, wished me luck in any results from his shop, or from him. Very decieving. Called for an estimate, was told $400 for tear down and inspection, that was about the only normal part, couple weeks last, was, waiting on a part as COVID was the hold up. Couple more week, I will have him call you, couple more weeks, I stop in and he states, its in the bay right now and will be down in a couple days. No call in 2 days, so a week later I call, and, parts are on back order because of Covid, really, you told be it was going to be done, nope, sorry. Couple weeks later phone tag back a forth until he told me the bill, $3000 WOW. At that point, I just told him fix it. If this is what you are looking for then great; I was not.

These guys are awesome. They save me the headache of trying to figure out how I was gonna pay for my transmission to be fixed. The have payment plans here and they take the payment out on my payday. It’s also interest free for 90 days. They really help me out of a tough spot. Everyone else doesn’t have the options these guys have transmission as well as other work done. If your reading this guys, thank you so much.

Mr. Reed was so kind and professional when I arrived at his facility. I walked in and he was on the phone but still acknowledged me and gave me a look of give me one minute. He took the vehicle for a test drive and then came back and provided me a possible issue cause code. He explained what the issue was in detail and gave me several options and the first one was the least costly of the two. He wanted me to do this first before making a huge investment in digging around in the transmission of my 2009 Chevy Impala if I didnt need to at first look.So grateful and blessed for people like Mr. Reed and his many years of experience in working with automobiles and transmissions. He came recommended and Im glad for my friends telling me to contact him about my issue. Ill go back to him for other issues I may have in the future with my vehicles.

Hi tech transmission was the only one to figure out my 4l80e transmission. It was giving me trouble for quite some time. Another shop had previously worked on it and had put the incorrect clutch plates in it. These guys are very knowledgeable and care about the cars they work on. Jason is a friendly guy and helped me a lot to understand what was going on with it. He explains everything in detail. I recommend them for sure. Good folks.

I brought my car to Jason for some engine work. He checked into some things and found out that the engine was under recall. Actually the dealer tried to tell him it wasn’t under recall and he insisted it was. Long story short I was able to take my car to the dealer and have all the work done for free because Jason did his due diligence and not just look to charge me a ton of money to fix something that could’ve been fixed for free. That’s called integrity!

Not only did they try to charge me too much but they didnt fix it and brung it back like this... Needless to say if anyone needs car repairs do not take it to them 🤬😡

These guys do excellent work. I’ve had to have my car fixed here when other shops could not find or fix the problem I was having. They are the best I’ve seen at electrical repairs and they are awesome at transmissions also.

Very honest Christian shop! Jason told me and showed me what was wrong with my truck! Food for thought to all people transmission work is not simple so be patient. Great place and like I said honest!!

I retract my previous view

This is the second vehicle I have taken for Jayson to work with. I actually brought my truck in to replace my brakes and found out that my actual rear brakes had become so bad they were missing hardware due to being loose. In the past I have always asked for my brakes to be checked when I have had tires rotated and other places always just did a quick glance and told me they were good but obviously they werent. He took the time to not only find the replacements I needed but he also was very upfront and informative on what parts were bad and what was missing as well as the cost before he even completed the work. Once I gave the okay he had everything completed in a timely manner and now my truck drives and brakes like a dream :).

Brought our 2005 van in for transmission repairs two months ago, which we are happy with so far. They were very courteous and respectful. I would say average pricing - had a transmission rebuilt before on another vehicle for about the same amount. They could work on phone communication (saying they would call back and then never calling back) and the extensive amount of time it took from drop off to finally getting our vehicle back (nearly 2 weeks from drop off to ordering parts, then another week for the repairs). I would probably use them again, though I would like to see improvement in timely communication.

I took my car to Hi Tech for a transmission repair, converter repair, valve gaskets, oil leaks, new front axles installed, a new shift change cable, head light repair and cooling system repair and some other things.I was gone on a trip and left it with Jason for a week. Jason would call at least once every other day, sometimes 1 or more tines a day to inform me of what was going on and ask permission to do certain procedure and the cost, that we had not discussed. This was most unusual for service shops to do but most welcome. Jason and his staff, especially Victoria the receptionist and the company right arm, were pleasant, courteous and forth right with me, which I appreciate.I am writing this review 6 weeks after I picked up the car (April 27 ). I purposely did not write this review until I had an opportunity to use my car for a period of time to make sure that what I said was truly correct, not a quick judgment. I have been very pleased with, not only the maintenance but the service and friendliness by employees at the shop. I was also pleased at the price considering what all I had to have done. At different shops I was quoted $1791.00 just for the transmission and I would have had to take it to another shop, which quoted $ 1350.00 for all the other work, all totaled was $3141 plus having to move my car and wait over two weeks for my car to be finished. Hi Techs price for all the work was $159.00 less. I did not have to move my car and the work was done in one week while I was gone.ONE VERY PLEASED CUSTOMER

The transmission in my car wasnt running correctly, so I took it to a few auto shops to get it checked out. Hi-Tech was the only one that diagnosed my car without a charging me a fee. They were the most reasonably priced, and were great at communicating. I was told the initial price just to get the transmission taken apart, and then Jason filled me in on all of the details and made sure I agreed to everything before moving on. The end result was great and now my car runs perfectly! I would recommend Hi-Tech to anyone.

I had an unexpected complete engine failure of my F150. It was towed to another auto shop that was not equipped to handle this kind of job. I called Hi-tech and they quickly towed the vehicle, diagnosed and gave me several options. Jason was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I will definitely use their shop for future needs.

I have been here several times. Every time I am met with honesty and Integrity! My grandpa passed away and he left me his truck. When I explained the situation they sent a tow truck to brow of signal mountain and took extreme care, knowing how emotionally attached I was. The 90 S10 still runs great 2 years later.When I went back for tires, I wanted to spend more on a name brand. Instead of ordering the more expensive brand and making more money off of me, they were honest. I was taught how to read the grades and chose a better tire for half the price.DONT GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!! They have received customer appreciation awards for a reason!!!

I had some transmission issues on my 2001 Chrysler T&C. I sent Jayson at Hi Tech Transmission an email he answered quickly and answered all my questions, took his time and made me feel comfortable. I told him my Transmission was gone and I did not think I could drive it to his shop. He said no problem I can send a tow truck to get it free of charge as long as I am the one the does the work. That is great because I did not want to pay a tow bill also. He told me up front what he charged for everything. He also called me every step of the way as he said he would. He did not do anything with out talking to me first I like that. The transmission is as good as it can get my girlfriend is happy to have her van back and I am happy with the honesty and quality work that was done. If you need transmission work done I can assure you that you will be happy here also backs his work with a warranty, so you know he trust his work and you know it will be quality. Thanks Jayson we will be back if we need anything else thanks for doing an outstanding job on the van. It is running like new again at 207 thousand.

The owner, Jason Reid, diagnosed my transmission problems when 3 other shops couldnt. His shop has the right equipment to do so, and he is a real transmission master mechanic. He repaired it when promised, priced it fair, and his customer skills are great! As a true Christian you can trust him. He gets scammed regularly by a lot of people who try to get him to fix their autos, they cant pay for it, then blast him with poor reviews on his website. I heard him handle 2 of these types this morning. My advice it to just know that and ignore those comments. Hes in a tough business, and deserves our business. Hes got a good crew of mechanics too. And he backs up his warranty.Im bringing all my mechanic and tune-up work to him.DLP

Jason & his crew were very professional. They rebuilt our Honda Odyssey mini van transmission in good time. They were extremely pleasant to deal with considering we were 2 hours away from Chattanooga area. I would totally send my family & friends for their services. Our van runs like new and it feels good to know it was fixed correctly the first. You can trust in their hard work.

The management is great. Took the time to answer and explain all my questions in detail my vehicle runs great no problems excellent work done by the staff will definitely use them for any of my transmission problems in the future. And the price was very reasonable.
