Today is the 1 year anniversary of when I bought my car, BMW 5 series, from Cross City Motors. I paid $8500 cash for the car. Since then I have replaced the transmission, fuel pump, gasket and seals, even the computer that manages it all. I havent driven the car outside of Charlotte in fear it would break down because I have countless breakdowns and tows. I am writing this review as I sit at another garage getting repairs done. I thought I was getting a deal but I have spent in repairs almost what I paid. I knew costs were going to come with upkeep of a BMW but I have literally rebuilt the car. I checked Kelly Blue Book and its nowhere near worth what I paid out at this point. I guess Im the only customer who bit the bullet, right? I doubt it.

Purchased a 2000 Mustang from Rey about 4 months ago and couldn’t be more pleased. The car was in great condition with low mileage. Ray was honest and straight forward. I’ve had ball joints replaced on it (standard for a 19 yr old car) and it’s proven to very reliable. Gonna start making some custom modifications soon. Thank you Cross City. Purchased an 09 Mercedes E350 (W211) chassis from this dealer a few weeks ago..the car runs like a champ, had an issue with the key which the dealer (Ray) took care of at no charge which he did not have to do since the vehicle was purchased as is, which I greatly appreciated. The buying experience was very pleasant and Ray is very knowledgeable when it comes to European cars. Was delighted that Ray was not like the many other dealers Ive encountered that was money hungry and dishonest and for that I will gladly be purchasing another vehicle from Crosscity Motors in the future.

I purchased a Volvo C30 from Cross City about five weeks ago. I was told the car was inspected, and nothing was found to be wrong with the motor. We did feel a vibration in the seats when driving the vehicle, but the sales person (Carlos) felt it could be the tires. The engine light came on the next day, on my way home - stopped to get it checked, and it was misfiring on three of the five cylinders.Since having it back home, Ive taken it to be looked at by a Volvo dealership, and am told it requires a cylinder head repair (for starters), which runs $7K.I flew from out of town to buy the car, and drove it 10+ back to Michigan. I was clear I needed something reliable for my kids to drive (four teenagers in the family), and asked for an honest but fair deal. I feel like I got completely ripped off, and will just warn anyone who is considering visiting this dealership to take this review seriously. Thank you - Brian

We just brought a 2011 328i BMW on Friday, March 15th. It’s now Monday morning (March 18th) and the car is already in the shop. Didn’t even last 3 days. The car broke down on Saturday. They hid the problem well. The car looked great and drove good. We brought it as is, so the problem is now ours. We definitely will not be back there to purchase a car in the future. And I certainly don’t recommend anyone buying a car from these guys. Cheers!!

The car was a good car. The buying process was an ease. After a week, there was a malfunction. Before the process he told me if I had any trouble with the car he would help. I called him and told him what happened to the car and to try to see if he could get his mechanic to look at it. He told me that he couldnt help me with talking to his mechanic to help me get my car fixed that I brought from them.

My boyfriend and I came across a 2007 mustang on Craigslist that was located at this dealership. I talked to Ray about pricing even before going to check out the car bc we lived 2.5 hours away. He came up with a plan that let us stay within what the bank approved us even though the mustangs price was more. Upon arriving at the dealership, we took it to Ford to get a used car inspection where everything checked out. There were a few concerns but Ray went above and beyond to take care of them.
