I’m 29 and this was my very first car purchase from a dealer. My first car was a gift from my parents, my second from family, my current from a private party. My car is currently 2000 and is starting to cause me headaches so I decided it was time for a new car. I was overwhelmed by visiting various dealerships and all the information and the process itself. I went to Scott Clark Honda and was immediately greeted and helped by a guy named Ricardo. He was super kind, courteous, professional, informative and overall, helpful. Not once did I feel overwhelmed or pressured to purchase a car as I encountered with ever previous dealership I visited. He answered all one million questions I asked and was very patient with me. I was already approved by my bank but he was able to get my a better offer through their billing. I TRULY felt taken care of and that I wasn’t just a quota for him. I felt like he was a big brother helping me choose my first car and I know he gave me the best deal possible. I am so thankful for Ricardo at SCH for making my first experience buying a car, a smooth and great experience. Financing was a breeze and I am BEYOND happy with my purchase. Definitely recommend!!!! I usually don’t write reviews but I had to get on here and brag about your employee, Victor Rizk. This man can sell vehicles! Our experience was pleasant with him from start to finish. He was very thorough about ALL the information during our test drives and before. There was no question too small or big. We came for one car for myself and he also landed my husband a nice deal on an upgrade, and was able to help make the payments better. Everything so far has been great and they have been awesome to me. I am happy with my purchase and this dealership has given me attention that I feel is so important in a large purchase like this. I purchase a use car from Scott Clark Honda. My salesman was pretty good. Financing was terrible. They seem as if they only wanted a large down payment amount to approve the loan. Which, the down payment only goes to the dealership. Then the finance person tried to slip in a $3500 warranty on the car and make it seem like it was included. When I caught it seem like his attitude changed. After purchasing the car I realize that none of the fluids were filled. I called and left a voicemail for the used car manager Robby Headly but never received a call back. After having the car a month the rear tire went flat. The tired shop showed me the tire, it was put on inside out and had previous damage to the tire. The tired was from 2018 and it is currently 2021 going on 2022. I would not recommend this dealership. I should have went back to Town and Country Ford where I made my previous auto purchase. The experience there was %100 better.
Never in my life have I felt so played. Went in to trade and get a new vehicle but pricing wasn’t what I told it was going to be. I ended up going the refinancing route which dropped my payment and I was happy. Only to receive a call a month later that the company I refinanced with didn’t do refinancing. I was livid. Had to wait until the loan came off my credit report and ended up back with the company I was with from the start. It’s like I pretty much brought my car back - only to have paid off some for my car and now it’s like I’m starting over from the beginning with paying down my loan. I’m still speechless and at this point I’m so over it and Scott Clark Honda. I know I will eventually get over this because some of the people are great and that’s why I came back to trade in. I should of just not tried to refinance or trade in because I honestly just brought “my car” back with pretty much the same loan I started with. It sucks… how do you place with me a company that didn’t even refinance? I promise I’ll get over it but it’s definitely going to take time. I promise I will never be back .
It seemed with the questions that I asked the salesman new little about the vehicles minus the stuff in a short pamphlet. Besides that, the experience was different then expected. I had 3 salesman that clearly barely communicated with each other talk to me about the vehicle I wanted. Walked out with a nice car that I cant complain about too much. They were not pushy at all which I liked, and were friendly

The Extra MileScott Clark Honda’s manager, Scot, and the auto repair staff went an extra mile to correct minor fixes after a visit. An apologetic repair person arrived at my home to correct the errors and “instructed” me in resolving the issues in the future. He was pleasant and reassuring. I live a considerable distance from the shop. This is what good customer service looks like. Ill be back for additional maintenance.
Our Honda Pilot started showing multiple messages on the display about Lane Assist and Collison problems. I brought the car to Scott Clark where the problem was diagnosed. They personally contacted the warranty company and took care of the pictures and paperwork. I received great service and was very pleased!
I’ve been to this location to service my car numerous times and I have to say, I’ve never been disappointed by the service department, which has consistently offered me great prices on oil changes (you have to look for good coupons) and free car washes. The sales department, on the other hand, can be really pushy and they actually tried to rope me into one of their trade-in deals while I was in the waiting area. But you just have to say no to them a bunch of times and they’ll leave you alone.
I’m by no means a “car guy”, But recently been having a hard time in life and then on top of all of it I was experiencing car trouble. I took my car to the independence Honda dealership and the man who was helping me with my car was very kind and above all else understanding. He helped me with understanding the issues with my car and was straight forward throughout the whole process. Excellent service to say the least, If you value a service like this like I do ask for Trevor at the independence Honda.
I was greeted shortly upon arrival. Kevin was friendly and assured me they would be done on time. The service was completed quicker than I anticipated and had been washed which again I had not expected. They also did a complete inspection to alert me if issues that needed addressing. Very, very clean shop. Well run. Definitely recommended.

Victor Rizk and Derek Azzarello were both great to deal with. We purchased a 2021 CRV for our daughter at Scott Clark Honda in July and so far the vehicle has been excellent. The purchase process was generally enjoyable and the vehicle was 99.9% flawless at delivery, and we are usually very picky. The price we paid was close to my number as they were willing to negotiate. I would recommend this Honda dealership to anyone. We have other family that have purchased here before and my wife may be purchasing a Pilot here in the future. They were professional all the way.
In August, toward the end of my 10 hour drive from NJ to NC on vacation, my air conditioning failed. I arrived at my brothers on a Friday night with my daughter, my 92 year old mother, and our dog in a very hot vehicle. We were only supposed to be at my brothers until Monday morning -- and then we were to continue our drive to the beach. On Saturday morning, I started calling dealers in the area. They all said they could not help -- until I called Scott Clark Honda. They said to bring the car in -- no promises -- but, they would do their best. I drove the car over and explained my situation to Kevin Trudeau (my contact in the service area of the dealer). He efficiently took my information and started the process to save my vacation. Within a couple of hours, the mechanics at Scott Clark Honda diagnosed the problem and began the repairs needed. If not for Scott Clark Honda, our vacation would have had a significant bump in the road. Thanks to entire team at this dealership!

Amazing experience from first call through delivery. I cant recommend Scott Clark Honda enough! Sales person, Garie Pendleton was patient, knowledgeable and easy to work with. I looked at and drive several Accord Sports before settling on my new to me 2019.Finance is where the magic happened. I personally always have an awesome experience at Scott Clark Honda, everyone is always so polite and helpful my associate that helped me this time was very knowledgeable and help me to understand everything my car needed going forward and also showed pictures of the specific things needed as to why they were needed absolutely gave more understanding of why with the mechanics taking pictures of these parts. My associate also brought everything to me including took my payment as I sat in the waiting area due to me walking with a cane from a recent surgery. I will always keep coming back and keep referring people to them.

I Bought a nice 2018 Honda Accord Sport and didnt leave a review after purchasing it so I apologize. Gabe Valentine was pleasant to be around and the other staff that helped with the deal like his Sales Managers at Scott Clark was wonderful. I spent over 6 years in the car business with Sales, Finance etc.. and their wasnt any complications getting the deal done for a fair price and a great quality vehicle for work. I had my Timing Belt package replacement for my Civic 2005 LX. I had a squeezing noice when I start driving. It was happened only in 0.75 mile if I turn the AC on and turning my car. I first had changed my 2 Drive Belts and alternator with other mechanic. It wont fix the issue. Later I called Scott Clark Honda, asked for the pricing and asked if I could get my old 2 Drive Belts back possible. Devin answered my phone and double checked with a mechanic before he answered my questions. He said I will get my old Belts. When I went for my appointment, Devin transfered my case to Kevin Trudeau as Kevin said. I got my car back at the next day (they told me I will get my car back by 7 pm but when I asked them at 5 pm, Kevin said they will finished my car next morning by 10 am. I also asked him again if I can get my old drive belts, one was Bendo and other was GoodYear, he said Yes. When I got my car back, they didnt give me those belts back. I asked Kevin again. He said he will check back with the mechanic. It is 8 days already and I didnt get any update for my belts from them.Yes, they did the good job and I dont have the squeezing noise anymore.
Brian was great. Although I didn’t like that he never asked me what type of oil service I wanted, he did not hesitate to make things right. After getting home I looked up the prices and found that the price he originally charged included the tire rotation. That was my mistake but he also didn’t say that when I complained, which would not have been a problem. I would like to publicly apologize for the misunderstanding but appreciate his customer service.
The sales team @ Scott Clark Honda was very helpful. Gabe and Travis did a good job of following up with me trying to get me into the vehicle I desired. Unfortunately after a few days, we couldnt agree on the out the door price I needed even after qualifying for a pre-approved amount through my lender. I would rather walk away from not getting the deal I wanted as opposed to feeling like I was overpaying. There are plenty of fish in the sea! Apparently cash is no longer king in todays market.
This was my first experience at Scott Clark’s Honda service center, and my first Honda bought from a dealer. Everyone I talked to was extremely helpful and helped me track down my original sales guy for a second key, and the tech even spoke with me about a noise I was hearing. It’s extra things like this that make me very happy with my purchase (CRV) and with the service department.

I had a great experience at SC Honda. Ray, my sales person was very pleasant to work with. I appreciate the non-pushy sales experience. Service was quick and efficient. Only thing I didn’t appreciate was the lack communication about things that would increase my out of pocket experiences, like the smart pay plan. I assumed it was free but instead it is handled by a third party and their fee is $399 to “Enroll” in the program. (I was able to cancel that before being charged) Yes, the contract I signed stated it but of course, I didn’t read every sheet of the many papers I signed. I think if there is a cost, the finance person should point that out so that an informed decision can be made and a level of trust established, unless they really want people sitting in their office reading every piece of paper for the fine details. Also, I would rather not have all the extended insurance/warranty information told to me as though they are all lumped together. For clarity of price, I would like each one told me so that I know I have a choice with the extras. I almost turned down the entire “package” because I didn’t want gap coverage. That’s when I was told I didn’t have to get that “part” bcuz each warranty is sold separately. Overall, great experience and it has certainly made me a more astute and in tuned consumer.

I have been going to Scott Clark Honda for about 3 years now and I have never had a bad experience. Everyone is always very courteous and helpful. They always do a great job servicing my car. Theyre always upfront and take the time to explain anything additional that may come up other than what I originally came in for, and always let me know if its advised to take care of now, or if its something I can wait a little bit longer on. I have never left feeling like I have been taken advantage of, and will continue to go there to get any work done on my car.
I purchased a new battery from Scott Honda 9/2017 warranty of 100 month. My battery start dying at 48 months. Was a shocker to me that I had to pay 60 percent of the original $212.00 cost. My cost for the new battery is 129.00 before tax. I guess I wasnt expecting that. Since I used less months of the battery I was thinking I had to pay less than what I paid. What was the point in mebuying a 100 month battery and it die so early. I still had 52 months to go. I will be purchasing my battery from somewhere else and hopefully get full or almost full use of my battery for less cost.I will

Their full service vehicle check keeps me informed on what maintenances I need to do now or will need in near future. I had an oil change appointment at 2PM, I showed up 20 minutes early to check in. I waited over a hour and a half to get my oil changed which should take a max of 45 min. Inefficient and slow. My car was done and waiting for at least a good 20 minutes before they came to get me… The employees are nice and welcoming though.
I am a Scott Clark Honda customer and I have been served by Trevor Flott who has given me excellent service. Overall the service at Scott Clark is good but Im sure if Trevor takes his case he will have a good service experience.
Went in for an oil change and a tire alignment since i got new tires. Everything was done correctly except i noticed a scuff mark on the bottom of the steering wheel. Likely happened during the alignment process. Advisor stated it will be replaced on my next service since i have a safety recall coming up. They are good at what they do and even if they make a slight mistake, will do everything to solve the issue.

The service staff and the building was nice enough that I didnt mind waiting there which is why Im giving two stars instead of one. Took my car to get an oil change & state inspection and amongst a few items that I was recommended to fix, one was to replace my back windshield wiper. I elected not to, didnt think much of it, but remembered it working just fine. Its been rainy this week so Ive used that wiper a few times with no problem prior to my service on 8/13. Now on 8/14, during a heavy rain, I noticed my back windshield wiper no longer working because the rubber looks like its been ripped off and is dangling. Definitely have never had a problem like this before in my 15 years of driving, and it was right after I got my car serviced -- you can imagine what Im thinking now. Kind of a strange coincidence, huh?

I always get my vehicle serviced at Honda and never had an issue. Unfortunately, this last time I went (for just an oil change) which made me question why I am a loyal customer. I was told that my battery was unsafe to drive off of the lot by Paul Phifer. Thank God I went straight to Auto Zone and several mechanics told me my battery was perfectly fine. Beware everyone!

Pretty routine service visit for oil change/tire rotation on my Civic. Also replaced air filters on their recommendation. There were a couple other maintenance recs. which I opted not to have done...although I appreciated it and they werent pushy at all. Comp. wash was certainly nice. Minus a star for leaving the glove box door hanging loose when they replaced the cabin filter. Had a 7:00 am appointment so I was out in decent time, little over an hour. Waiting area comfy, coffee good. Service advisor friendly, helpful.A tad pricey, as expected at the dealership.

I just bought my used Honda Civic EX 2008 today and I LOVE IT !!! The sales man was supeeeeer nice and explain a lot. Made us a great deal for this car. I’m so glad I got it! All the process was fine and smooth. Definitely I recommend them. If you want to find good car and nice people. Go there. I for sure will come back.
All staff was very professional and courteous. Kevin Trudeau kept me informed on the progress of the work, with clear, efficient communication. The dealership is very clean and well run.
They were very accommodating to what I needed and understood that I didnt want anything too flashy; ie, they werent pushy about any extra features I didnt need. That sounds like an odd compliment, but you wouldnt believe how many auto dealers try to convince you that you want extra bells and whistles - Scott Clark Honda respects what you want and they are not pushy at all. They make sure youre accommodated for.
I had an excellent experience with the service department manager and team. Not only did they resolve my issue, they went above and beyond the call of duty to insure I completely understood the issue with my vehicle and that I was satisfied with my billing.
What a pleasant experience buying a car from Rafael at Scott Clark Honda yesterday. After visiting 4 other dealers in Charlotte, they were my last stop. Wish they had been my first stop! The knowledgeable, friendly, low pressure and customer-oriented sales team was such a pleasant change from my experiences earlier in the day. I was from out of town and checked in online to get an appointment. I couldn’t drive home without making sure the car was safe to drive. My safety was top priority for Matt, like I was family. He explained everything thoroughly, ranking the concerns so I could balance the services with the costs. If I was not from out of town, I would make Scott Clark Honda my go to car service location and ask for Matt.

I did not have an appointment & I was way overdue for an oil change. I drove in and without any problems or delay was serviced right then & there. Everyone was polite & curteous. This was my first time at this Honda Dealership but diffently not my last!!!!!

We have owned a Honda Odyssey minivan since 2000. We compared prices at Hendrick Honda, where we have purchased all our Hondas over the last few years. We also decided to compare prices with Scott Clark Honda. We got within $1000 in negotiating the sale and Scott Clark’s general manager Kevin Brown would not match sale price with Hendrick Honda. Granted we have purchased all our Honda’s at Hendrick’s but we let general manager Kevin Brown know he had the potential to gain our business as long term customers. Mr. Brown declined to match it and declined to take us on as a new customer... what a shame, as we told him we have another new car to purchase next month. It was an all cash offer. I guess it’s all about numbers and not people anymore. A long term customer is way more valuable than $1000. Hendrick Honda will always get our business.
I have to say, I only went to Scott Clark Honda for an oil change. With only 6,000 mile remaining on my lease, I thought I would just peak around the lot. Victor approached me and showed me two cars. He listened to what I liked in a vehicle, didn’t try to over-reach my desires or needs, and allowed me to test drive both to assess which car was best for me. I also have to say, I gave him a hard time. I was NOT interested in swapping vehicles at that time. Then he showed me the numbers. I still wasn’t interested. Then Sean came in and gave me a deal I couldn’t refuse. I did it. I got a better vehicle with everything I could have wished, at a great price, and drove off in my new and improved Honda. Thank you for the great experience.

Worked with Chris, service manager who gave me a detailed report and analysis of work that needs to be completed. Advised me to get one part of work done that day and make a return visit to complete second part of work because of time required. Excellent advice and I will continue to work with him.
