I had the benefit of observing the Jim Ellis product review competition held October 27th. Courtland Howard from the Audi Atlanta store delivered the smoothest most convincing presentation of the contestants. As a client you will want to seek her out to feel engaged and part of the purchasing experience. Her dialog brought me along with her on a journey and her explanation highlighted points with amazing clarity.
So i took my car to get service that is when i was met by a service representative by the name Jonathan. I would never forget the great service he provided me. To the point i still remember his name. He help with everything i needed even gave me pointers on what i might need in the future. He provided me more information than any other dealership i ever went to. I just want to say thank you Jonathan i will see you soon go tom brady.
Before now, I loved Jim Ellis. In my time of need they let me down though. My car was totaled and I needed a document to close out my gap coverage. I called a number of times for this information to be completed but to no avail. Now the reason for gap coverage is cover what the insurance does not so I can move on to my next vehicle. The accident happened in May 2021. It is now October and I still have not heard back from Jim Ellis Hyundai about my contract being closed out. I had to pay over a $1000 to pay off my totaled car account plus my normal payment on my current vehicle. Well then, what is the purpose of gap coverage if I still have to cover it!?? Jim Ellis had the nerve to tell me that it could take up to 12 weeks to close out my paperwork!! What the heck is ANYONE there doing during the other 11 weeks??? Heck, ILL come do it!! Its been 20 weeks and I have not heard from them. I certainly will not be back. They cant get a simple bit of needed information together.
Absolutely the worst business I have ever attempted to contact. My wifes 5 month old Volkswagen ID4 had problems over the weekend. Took it in - two weeks till they can look at it. Called management and finally Mr Ellis office for help. Phone rang 40 some rings then disconnected. Went back to the operator received no assistance - was connected to an internet sales manager. If you want pure frustration, this is the place to call. Results - nothing, brickwall and total frustration call Jim Ellis Automotive Group.

The worst service ever and I felt pressured to pay $1772 just to replace alternator on my 2015 Audi Q7 Ron wasn’t friendly enough to explain why I was actually charged that much money after keeping my car for a week. And Ron took advantage of my situation the fact that I was on my vacation and didn’t have a second choice but to do it. Footnote $961 just a labor. Why disrespecting our men and women who are giving their lives for our freedom? so I am not a military personal and that discount should not apply to me thank but no thanks.
Ive always dreaded going to car dealerships and sales people. I just left Jim Ellis Audi in Marietta and I have to admit that Vince Fabre is amazing!! He was upfront and honest and worked to get me the best deal. I was so pleased with my decision to purchase from Jim Ellis today. This had to be the most relaxed and calm car buying experience that I have ever had. Vince and the staff made my experience feel effortless. I felt like I was meeting up with old friends. I would definitely recommend Vince Fabre and Jim Ellis to anyone in the market for a vehicle.

I have been a government employee for 15 years and WOULD NEVER -EVER refer ANYONE to this dealership for ANTYHING!!!! Long story short I dropped my truck off to get a diagnosis and payed 150 dollars. I drove it up there and at the end of the day it was towed back home to me not even starting after I refused to pay 2500 dollars for a timing belt. I belive my truck was purposefully tampered with and Im working on seeing if I can sue these janky con artists. I btrought my vehivle in and got passive agressively extorted and it cost me 150 dollars and my truck. If you get a simple diagnosis I wouldnt get it here.

I went to Thornton Hyundai and got the worst service ever matter fact they messed up my automatic transmission Park sensor! All the work that I had performed on my 2013 Hyundai Sonata 2.0 T was covered under factory extended warranty! Mike in service took care of me and I walked out of the dealer with a zero balance due. My car is right and I am one happy customer for life!

Usually they are very good but this time they dropped the ball. Was told that they had the parts to fix my car. The one key part they did not have is on back order and it is made in Germany. The other thing that didnt quite sit right with me was I was there from 9am till 4:30 pm but wasnt told until after noon that it would be ready around 4. The guy offered a car but I really didnt want to deal with PIB traffic going home and then coming back and going home again.
Felt no pressure and the staff was quick on their feet. The reason I didnt proceed to purchase here was that the model and combination I want is hard to find.Update: bought a car here ad had a great experience.

Year after year, I come to this spot to get my VW maintained. The service staff are top notch, the facilities are comfortable for a wait. Leos been tending to my cars needs for years. Hes transparent, professional, and open to explaining whats due or can wait.One of the nicer things is the media waiting room, which has a large screen and reclining seats while waiting for your car. Its a little worse for wear(controls dont work in some spots), but is still a quiet spot to work comfortably.

The service department needs someone JUST to field calls and answer simple questions. The answering service should not be off sight and so far away from the service department. Stop using the excuse of theyre too busy at the service department to answer the phone for simple questions, PLEASE? AND, return calls in a timely manner!!
Found a car we liked and Marco & his sales manager made it fit our budget.
Dropped my car at our scheduled appointment and was not touched in 15 days and was lied to by the service personnel who stated that it was assigned to a technician a week prior its to bad that theres only five stars instead of negative stars to review a business. All I can say is good luck getting repairs done.

I dunno if I could ever give a dealership 5 stars, but Jim Ellis gives fair prices and friendly service.The typical dealer tactics, such as negotiating payments over price still apply, but it never felt like they were swindling me.I leased a Mazda 3 5-door from them in 2009 and was satisfied.I returned just this past Saturday to buy a 2015 Mazda 3s GT 5-door with 41K miles. It was $16,700 before tax and extended warranties and the paint and body protection, all of which raised the price to $18,280. They offered 4.9% 72-month financing (~$23K if I take that long to pay it off), which wasn’t fantastic, but I intend to play it off in a few months, anyway. They kept insisting that it was better for them to do financing over all cash, even if I paid it all off the first payment. I think they get some kind of kick-back from their bank (Bank of America).Again, I don’t think I got a steal, but a fair deal on a great car with a warranty that covers almost everything for 5 years—the scheduled maintenance alone should make it worth it in that time. I could have shopped around and found a better deal or a car with less mileage, but this was exactly the car I wanted within my budget.
I went for the $69.99 synthetic oil change.Three stars because it was a good deal and my oil was indeed changed.Downside was the wait. Took a couple hours. Went to make a cellular call 25 minutes after arrival and my phone connected to Bluetooth because my car was still running in the drop off area. Wi-Fi is spotty in the waiting area and not conducive to doing work from a laptop while waiting.Staff is friendly and did move my car when I pointed out it had been sitting running for 25 minutes. Free car wash was decent.
Overall I am a big fan of this dealer, in short they carry themselves well and are a pleasure to deal with.The Positive:Salesmen are not pushy at all, a stark contrast to the Toyota dealer across the street. Here at the Mazda dealer they will show you around and answer any questions you can come up with to the best of their ability.The parts/service department is by far one of the best I have experienced. Ive managed on multiple occasions to go in and buy a part for my 1986 RX7, also had it serviced here a few times. The staff is knowledgeable on the old cars, and is able to provide excellent service because of that. Their excellence here must only elude to what they can do with a car made this millennium.The Negative:Parking is limited at best. There are only about 5(?) spaces out front for customers to park in. This is made worse by the fact that they are pretty tight spots that are hard to get in and out of.Staff: 5/5Building and lot: 3/5Average: 4/5

I set a appointment to bring my car in for a oil change and a diagnosis on a headlight bulb that was blown. The appointment was set the week before for 9am today. As I dropped my car off, I was told it would not get looked at until late in the day and they close at 7pm. If I wanted to wait all day before my car gets looked at, what is the reason for the 9am appointment I scheduled? And this was just for a oil change and headlight bulb diagnosis.

While the quality of the vehicle we purchase is exactly what we were looking for, the headaches we experienced to get it have not been worth the troubles! We purchased a vehicle here back in April and this deal is still not complete!!!!! We purchased from out of state and have had the most negative experience possible. Had we been able to find the vehicle closer, we would have ended this deal and moved on to a different dealership. From lack of communication during getting financing in place, issues with shipping of the vehicle, needing to get a brand new hood repainted, missing parts, issues with the title and registration - its been a never ending nightmare! Staff is piss poor about responding to concerns and communicating. The General Manager blatantly ignored phone calls and failed to respond to emails. We have yet to get the vehicles registration complete 3 months later, so the nightmare continues! Extremely frustrating situation and for staff to not care about the customer in a 80K deal is just absurd!

We brought a car in for service, and discovered that some of the services were more expensive (60% more) than other places. The atmosphere however upholds an upscale get what you pay for vibe.I just feel as though I should be able to get all the information from one counter. The service rep would say and point to the counter across the beautifully paved five star feel driveway and say you have to ask them. I wanted to pick up his phone and call over to show him how upscale expensive service is done.
After purchasing a fully electric (and way overly priced) Chevy Bolt from this dealership, it hasn’t been a month yet but getting awfully close, they tell us today that they NEVER processed our new license plate and, if it wasn’t because we keep calling asking for it, we would have waited who knows how long to get it...on our own! How incredibly INEPT can people be, I have to wonder? Cast of characters: First we met Don. A manager. Now this man is the only reason why we ended up buying this car and overspending the way we did. Don is a true salesman! I take my hat off for him. Extremely nice, diligent, knowledgeable and funny. He’s a tru pro! The rest... Don gave the sale to a certain Jeovanni. A Mexican with this name should already raise eyebrows. And yes, I can and will write this as I too am from South America, born and raised, and know my people very well! I am posting this publicly because I don’t care if anyone feels “insulted” if I call a Mexican a Mexican! Call me Venezuelan. I’m quite fine with that..! Moving on, perhaps he should start by knowing how to spell an Italian name (Giovanni) before destroying it like that. Regardless, this name distortion is an indication of what follows from this guy. Even when Don generously “gave” this Jeovanni character this sale, he didn’t make any efforts to make the rest of the experience perfect for us. You could tell he is the type that tries as little as possible and does what he can to get away with not much effort in life. How he has stayed working in this dealership for as long as his name plate indicates, is a mystery to me! Financing did everything they could to hold our documents at the dealership so their bank would get first hands on our financing. No matter how many times a day we called asking for the documents to give to our bank, they avoided our calls, never replied, and flat out did all they could to make it very hard for us to finance outside the dealers banks. We finally did finance outside after running all over town for days and days. Next came the new license plate! It’s almost been a whole month! Calls and calls to Jeovanni and all he ever said is that the guy is not at his desk! Really? Well stand at the desk until the “guy” shows up and get our darn license plate processed for God’s sakes! Today, due to yet another call from us, this genius of Jeovanni tells us that because of “a problem” (never explained what problem) they just didn’t do anything to get our license plate processed and they sent us a check in the mail that we will get today! So, that means you knew about this for days and you didn’t even bother calling us to let us know?!!! What kind of an incompetent moron are you?! I’m sorry. I just have zero patience for this nonsense! If I behave like this at my job just once, I’ll get fired immediately. No doubt! I am done with this place. Just done. Listen here: I just got into a $42,000 electric vehicle at your darn dealership and this is the kind of “CUSTOMER SERVICE “ I get from you? Nope. Look around you: Tons and tons of other dealerships to pick from. Sad. Very sad. Customers deserve a lot more. This is beyond unacceptable! I originally left a pretty nice review at Jim Ellis’ site, since they kept requesting one, but frankly they don’t deserve it. Except for Don. Now he is top #1 and we are very thankful for his efforts to help us in so many ways. The rest of you...

Ive bought 3 cars here now. Have an 11 year relationship with sales and service here on the Hyundai lot as well as the Audi folks (though havent purchased an Audi... yet). Certain that all of the Jim Ellis family of dealers are great. Highly recommend.
Favorite car dealership. We got our cars from here and don’t plan on stopping. It’s the place to go when you need a car. Amazing service and they do try to help you as much as they can. So you can leave going him happy. All the times we visit, we thought we weren’t going to leave with a car but every time we visit. A car was added to the family.
The shop and waiting area are pretty nice. Cars and maintenance are too expensive. Prices compared to Europe are about 40% higher. Getting a free loaner does not compensate for that extra cost. Sales department is pretty pushy when they know that you want to buy a new car. Trade in prices are way too low as well. I understand that they need to make money but if you see how much they give for an old vehicle and what sell it for... they want to make a little too much profit on you. All and all a good service but everything else need to improve for customers!
Still the best in all years I have been buying cars. I always take my cars back to dealerships fir service no matter what and their service department is the best. But nore important Jim Ellis and family are totally involved in all their dealerships and available to their customers!! A huge plus when you purchase a car!! Never buy a car if you cant have access to the owners, you will be surprise how important that is to you in more ways than one!! Encourage you to check out his dealerships before you purchase a car any where else!! I will always come back to Atlanta to Jim Ellis for my car purchases no matter where I live!! Thats how happy I am with them!!!

I downgraded my rating because after coming in and having a good experience, test driving a car I left and called him a couple days later to confirm it was still there told him I was coming in from Woodstock to purchase it salesman said he would get it ready to go so I drive almost an hour to get there and find out they sold it to someone else and didnt bother to call me or let me know someone else was even looking at it.
