I needed a place to get some work done on my car. Pep Boys was recommended. When I called them to ask prices, the man that answered talked down to me like I was a dummy. I may not know all about cars, but I am an intelligent woman and did not appreciate his attitude. I guess Pep Boys doesnt need my patronage!

I made an online appointment to get an oil change on Sunday 8/15/21. It was after they closed on Saturday. The got me in and got me back and done quickly. Fast and friendly service as well. Ill be back for sure.

Its close to my house and they always have what I go for.Its small but clean. Cashiers are nice

I had to get a new battery for my car, which I purchased from OReilly, and they called over to Pep Boys and Jose said they would change it out for me. I went over and was there for no more than 15-20 minutes. Darren did a great job and my car is running perfectly.

I got an overpriced oil change approx. a month ago from here, which I was satisfied with and would give a 4-star review. But here is the kicker, even if you make an appointment online, ITS NOT A REAL APPOINTMENT TO THEM. I went back for tires, ordered them online but opted to pay in-store. I made an appointment for a certain time, and even had an order number. I went into the store, not only did he tell me that he didnt see my appointment, but he also said that he didnt have the tires that I opted for, and the tires that he tried to sell me were priced $50 over what theyre advertised online (tax and installation included, I was looking at pepboys.com tire prices as we were talking)Long story short, dont go to pep boys if you can help it. Overpriced, their appointments arent actual appointments, and they have different prices between online and in-person. I will be going to another store in the area.

On my day off, I dropped my company vehicle off for an oil change and tire rotation. I also asked that the sensors for the tires be reset to their new locations, once they were rotated. This was an issue on my last visit. I even left the manual in plain sight, so it can be referenced. I was called around 3 pm and was told the van was done. I asked that the keys be placed in the gas tank and I will pick it up when I get back in town. I pick it up at 8:30 pm and it is not locked. I have $10,000 worth of tools and materials in the van. I was very disturbed by this. I checked the van and everything is still in the van. So today comes and I see the van in the daylight and can tell that the tires have not been rotated. Not even a fingerprint on the wheels brake dust. I come back by, after my shift, the next day, and explain things. When I said the tires were not rotated, he says, “of course they didn’t rotate them.” He asked when I would be in the area again. I say I live ten minutes away. Then I’m met with, no we can’t do it today I have a truck on the lift right now. So now I’m supposed to inconvenience myself so they can do what the hell they were supposed to do, when they had my van all damn day. I’m sorry but no, I’m done with this place and will tell my company to stop using them for our fleet services. I have two stars because the oil was actually changed, the dash light reset and a window sticker installed. I will not recommend this place or bring any vehicle of mine back here.

Went to get an oil change on my truck and the female mechanic at the Cartersville store was quick and quite thorough. She came to me and pointed out some things that I needed to address in the very near future she also checked my systems to make sure that everything was good. It was so nice to have someone that spoke to me about my truck instead of most mechanics, that because I am female, speak to me as if I don’t know anything about cars at all which is not the case. I use to work on my own vehicle but because of my age I can no longer do that. I will take all of my Business back to the Cartersville store as long as Sam does the work she was great!

Made an appointment online easily. They are able to complete the service on my Audi at what I am guessing is a fraction of the price the dealership would charge. The guy at the customer service desk was super helpful, and I couldnt have been happier with the wait time and the care that was taken servicing my car. Ill definitely be back!

First off I am giving them more than one star due too the younger service writer treating me good if I was base it on the older service writer it would be one star. I had an appt I arrived early the older service writer asked me if I was leaving it I said no I have an appt he immediately became negative telling me I was gonna be here a while that they had 5 0900 am appts telling me brake service was a two hour plus job. I stopped doing business with pepboys two and a half years ago due to the bad attitude of this same service writer but due tooveveyone being booked for the weekend I decided to give them another chance well I got my brakes put on but was subjected too the attitude of the old guy again. I am a multicar family they lost a lot of business in the two and a half years I went elsewhere and due to his bad attitude I will be going where my business is appreciated CARTERSVILLE MUFFLER they are honest and do great work. I wonder how many people this guy at pepboys has chased off.well I for one will not spend another penny. Pep boys your fired

Driving on 75 when radiator went bad. Found my way here and they fixed it fast, didnt mess with me- were nice and straight as could be. To stumble into a mechanics shop and be treated so well means that they were ready to do everyone right. That is the kind of place you want every day. What a wonderful turn from radiator despair to good old fashioned customer service. Thank yall (especially Brett).

I took my car to get the brakes and roaders changed. My car was left even worse than before and they will not answer any of my calls. I paid way more than I should have to end up with my car even worse. Do not recommend.

People behind the desk were nice, but come to find out they ripped us off. Charged for work that wasn’t done. We got two separate mechanics shops to verify before we tried to talk to Pep boys about it. They beat around the bush and came up with multiple excuses. Refused to give any money back, when the work we paid for wasn’t done to begin with. We paid for our antifreeze leak to be fixed, were charged hundreds of dollars. It still leaked the night we left. We took it back and they refused to fix it unless we paid them again. WHAT? Will never be back, and will certainly not recommend to anyone else.

Tried to get a tire fixed thr ignored us very unprofessional

I pulled over to the side in their parking lot to call & ask what an oil change would cost. I needed to get one that day if possible & I was comparing prices on the phone with nearby places. I called the store to inquire about the oil change, when I told the man (I dont remember his name) the make and model of my car he immediately said I hope youre not the lady blocking my lanes. What? Really? I told him I wasnt blocking anything. There was only one other vehicle on the rack and one leaving that had no problem getting past me. He rudely stated I needed an appointment for that & the earliest one would be 4 days later at 3pm. I said thats fine Im leaving & will never bother you again. Maybe he was having a bad day I dont know but this is not the way to speak to a potential customer & hey yall I never even got the quote. 😩

Best service and prices around. They are fast friendly and go above and beyond to accommodate. Zack is thorough in 3explaining each step of service and honest about what is needed. They are knowledgeable and do not pressure the customer with upsales or unnecessary services like some shops do . This will be our new go to . See you in 50,000 guys and thank you so much 😉

Made 2pm appointment for oil change, arrived at 1:40 told desk person I had 2pm appointment for oil change he ask if I made it online I said yes, I was told you should have called, theres an hour and a half wait time. i said I have an appointment, was told I dont care what you got Im telling you 1 and a half hours. The man that looks like Barney Fife always gives me problems, he has the worst customer service ever. He must be a related to the owners for them to keep him there.

I recently moved to Adairsville, in Bartow county. Knowing that a trip down to Marietta was forty-five miles, I wasnt looking forward to having to find someone local to service my 05 Hyundai Tucson. So I was thrilled to discover a Pep Boys service center in Cartersville. Just like the Marietta location that I had been frequenting, the service at the Cartersville location was impeccable. Highly recommend!!

I needed an oil change and was on a tight schedule to get back to work. Brett provided great service and they were done very quickly. They even called another store to get the filter I needed. Nice job fellas! I will be coming back for my next service.

Had our oil changed here today. They were not busy at all, so they took our car straight back at our appt time. The service itself seems like it was performed just fine and in a timely manner. However, there were conflicting pricing quotes and the customer service at the front desk could have been friendlier and more helpful .

I had the worst experience at the Pep Boys in Cartersville. I spent over $1200.00 on my car and had to bring it back twice because of it skipping after a tune up. The first time they said one of the plugs they had put in was bad. They said at that time that they checked to make sure the coils were good and they were. I had to bring it back for the same thing a little over a week later for the same thing. That time they replaced all the plugs and replaced a coil. I was told the next time I came there it was going to cost me.I had two back tires replaced on the same day as the tune up and new brakes. They said they balanced the tires and charged me for an alignment because they said it was pulling towards the right. I left their shop and bounced all the way home. I called them and told them what was happening and they told me they had balanced the tires and checked the air. My husband checked the air in all of the tires. The back tires they put on had 37 lbs of air. The front tires had around 30 lbs. They are all suppose to have 32. I have to take my car to the shop tomorrow to have the tires balanced because it is still bouncing everywhere. I will never step foot back in Pep Boys again.. I was told at the time of service I had a year warranty but I would never trust them to touch my car. I was very nice to them while I was there and I don’t appreciate the way I was talked to.

Its became a constant problem set up an Appt online and you to have to wait 1.5 hours or 2 just for your car to go in. I dont recommend this place at All. Stick to Walmart for your lube services.

The guy at the front desk was rude and refused to call my insurance company for a claim that was already made. My car smelled like cigarette smoke after I got back in my car afterwards. I would not recommend this place to anyone

Pulled in to have them read check engine code- shop was small and disorderly, and they immediately started quoting prices for their diagnostics- I have been to a PepBoys before and know how this works, so was surprised that this is what they led with. Not my typical experience

I would give them zero stars if I could. I went into this location to get my tires checked and filled. I was the 2nd one in line. After the lady was helped in front of me, the man behind the counter said when he comes back someone will help you (pointing to an empty workstation). He then helped two people behind me. After 15 minutes he was finished with all of the white customers and asked me what I needed. I asked if my tires could be filled with nitrogen and he said we dont carry that here. I asked him why I had to wait 15 minutes to be told that when I was first. Brett gave no response. Normally I would have went off but I just shook my head and left. Shame on you Brett!

I picked up a nail in a tire on highway 41. Went to Pep Boys, great service, got in and out in less than 20 minutes. No charge to plug my tire. Thanks guys, especially Huck!

Nick was a wondeful tech/ he had great customer service, and he jumped right on getting my brake calibers fixed for me and my family, for it being our only transportation he took things seriously and fixed us right up. Very thankful for him and his other techs for taking time out of their evening to fix pur jeep, great friendly guys. Thanks guys.

Brought my car in for an oil leak. Was told it had leaking head gaskets oil plug issue, and transmission leak. They did the work. Was parked for a while and the next time I moved the car there was an oil slick on the driveway Took it bad to them and was told they never fixed an oil leak. WHAT? ?! That was why I brought it in!! They took no notes on why you bring your car in. Dont waste your time or money. Go somewhere else !!

This location is one of the best auto shops in the area. Thanks to Scott and his staff they got all the items that I had asked them to do on Sunday. I will get all work done to all my vehicles at this location only.

Went there to get a tune up. And they took my van apart and screwed up the van into a worse condition than it was already in. Do not take your vehicle here. Do not trust these good reviews.

Had scheduled an oil change, but when I came in they could not find it and I was pushed back over 2 hours and the people they did have scheduled were not even at the shop yet. The mechanics were all late except 1 and the mechanic that was here did nothing. Thisnis a horrible experience. I do not know if they hired new people or what, but this current group of employees need to all he fired. My appointment was lost, i got pushed back 2 hours for nothing, all tge mechanics were late and were sitting around doing nothing. Needs serious management.

My wife was on the road to South Georgia, from Kentucky, and noticed her tire light on. She pulled off at the only place she was familiar with, Walmart, and they were going to have her wait 3 hours to plug her tire, from a very small nail. With no other recourse, she left Calhoun Ga Walmart trying to get further down the road to get the small leak fixed. I googled, knowing nothing of the area, and found this Pep Boys in Cartersville, Ga. They gladly took my wifes car in, and fixed it in less than 10 minutes, for free. Pep Boys have gotten a customer for life. This particular Pep Boys gladly fixed a frightened lady’s tire that had no idea what she was going to do. I and her, are forever grateful for their help.

Ok service shop, went in for a alignment on a project car. Called to tell me I need new tires, that their alignment machine couldnt align with dry rotted tires. Went to another shop and town and had no issues..

If I could give zero stars that would have been my option. I called today to see when my oil was due to be changed because I never received a window sticker and the customer service of the employee was disgusting. He seemed to be annoyed with my questions and talked to me like I was stupid. I won’t be returning here for any future service.

I had trouble with my car while in Cartersville, asked the tow truck drive what was the best place to go. He told me Pep boys, I called spoke with Scott the Store Manager told me to bring it by. I was going to tow it back home to Mableton. I am so glad I did not. Scott and Richard the tech who workedon my car did a great job. I will drive from Mableton to Cartersville to allow them to work on my car again. I would give them ten stars if I could.
