Highly recommend this LensCrafters store in Bristol. They have a wide variety of frames and a friendly, patient staff. Overall, I had a very good experience. Very efficient and prompt with my service starting with my eye exam and until the delivery of my eyeglasses. I had to to go in again for corrections to my eyeglasses and it was done with no issues. Glad I found this store. Thank you for the great service!
Bob and mike are the best!! Needed glasses in 1 hour. They came through. Best service. Period.
I love this LensCrafters. It’s a convenient location and I’ve always had amazing help from Mike at this store. Overall staff is friendly and I love that there is a place where you can get a quick fix on your glasses if you need it in a pinch.
Sheila helped choose the perfect frame(s) for my son! She is very knowledgeable about the frame products and lenses. You can tell her expertise is above and beyond!Mike, the store manager was very helpful as well. He was very patient with my son too.
I went to this LensCrafters for the first time last week and I am now making appointments for my kids to go. I arrived on time and was processed very quickly into my exam. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. Dr. Turro was excellent! He didn’t rush me through my exam and was very knowledgeable. I brought a pair of glasses with me that I was prescribed last year from a different store ( not a LensCrafters). The frames never fit me correctly and the prescription never felt right even after returning and “fixing “ them. He took a look at them and sure enough the prescription wasn’t quite right. He assured me this new script would not hurt my eyes. After my exam, I was taken to the sales area where Mike Smith assisted me. I have always had a hard time finding frames that actually flatter me. Mike was VERY helpful and not pushy. I felt like he wasn’t trying to sell me something that I didn’t need. I just picked up my pair last night and I couldn’t be happier! I had a very positive experience at this store and I would highly recommend them.
The women who helped me was extremely helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. First time there and she was great! Took the time to explain my benefits to me!
Great store! They helped me get my contact lenses when I couldnt wear glasses for a few weeks! Above and beyond excellent service!
I made an appointment last week. They text me to come in 15 mins early. I did. Filled out power. My insurance did not cover it. Which I knew. Perfect eye exam. Unbelievably great service. Between the optometrist to the eyeglass service. Great Great service. Not quite sure how anyone could complain.
I was very impressed with the entire staff today! Everyone was so nice; especially Dr. Turo. He took his time to explain things to my 10 year old son. I did not feel rushed at all- from the eye exam to picking out frames. I appreciated the time everyone took with us today- thanks!
The store was clean and open. Masks were optional. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. They had a large selection of styles and brands. With a discount my first pair came to $391, which includes a warranty and blue light lenses. I thought it was reasonable.
Went to this store there doctor and his receptionist were very friendly, however, the sales people were so unfriendly and ignored us but when other people walked in they were all friendly they thought we didnt have money, but we went to another store and spent money thanks Rachel and Anthony from the Berlin tpk store. If I can give them 0 stars I would but the doc and his receptionist deserves a star.
I never write a review on anything but this location of lens crafters has given me nothing but problems. They are always so rude and never wanting to help. I have an issue every time I talk to them or go there. I will say that Michael is the only nice one that I have came across there, so I appreciate that.
I came in for an eye exam two days before the year was up so my insurance wouldn’t cover it. The office knew it would not cover it and didn’t tell me. I know this because they asked for my medical insurance in addition to my eye insurance. I gave it and they didn’t explain why. Two months later I got a bill on my medical insurance for $185. If they had told me my eye insurance wouldn’t cover the eye exam I would have rescheduled for two days later in order to have my FREE yearly exam and not a huge bill. I feel this doctors office is extremely dishonest and I will never return. They then told me to contact lens crafters customer service to explain my issue only for them to say they can do absolutely nothing and that a refund is up to the discretion of the doctors office, who already just told me too bad. Absolutely unacceptable.
Always helpful and friendly and nice !!!Excellent service
The doctor was very nice and explained everything so I understood what was going on. The staff was very courteous. The lenscrafter staff was also very helpful and friendly.
Sheila and mole were great
I walked in not really knowing what I wanted and was helped by Mike Smith. Went above and beyond!! Will return again for both lenses and eye care.
Unecessarily condescending manager. Also way overpriced!Relax fellas, you sell frames. Youre not performing heart surgery. The other locations are way better!!!
Great Doctor, wonderful experience
This is not the LensCrafters of a few years ago! We were taken care of immediately and back home in no time. Were very pleased.
Professional staff . Clean and very helpful
Quick fast service by Employees who know what they are doing! Great Experience!
Waited about 10 minutes. The doctor and staff were great
In hopes of scheduling an eye exam and getting readers that were 100% covered by insurance I called and spoke with a receptionist for the eye doctor. The receptionist tried to schedule an appointment without knowing my insurance information, I explained to her I wanted to give my insurance information prior to scheduling because I wanted to make sure that an inexpensive (covered by insurance) pair of readers would be included. The reception took my info, placed me on hold and transferred me to LENSCRAFTERS,,, I explained again and specificallly asked if they carried frames and lenses covered by insurance because I wanted no out-of-pocket cost... simply because the readers I have been getting from Marshalls/TJMaxx I loose or break often... The Lenscrafters rep ASSURED me there were Value Lenses and Frames that were COVERED!!! After my exam in which the doctor said I only need readers ((((my Prescription said Progressives More expensive))))) LENSCRAFTERS tried to charge me HUNDREDS of $$$ and also accused me of lying and while I was disagreeing with MIKE the MANGER Mary the representative was on the phone arguing with another customer who was apparently complaining about a 50% discount and Mary was telling the person on the phone if front of me and another customer they were comitting Insurance Fraud!!! Apparently MIKE & MARY TEAM are the ones committing fraud!!! I should have read the reviews first!!!!!!!!!! Lesson Learned Buyer/Patient Beware!!!!!
I went into LensCrafters a couple of weeks ago with a loose lens in my glasses, an optician who was there very nicely fixed it for me so I went ahead and I made an appointment for an eye examination. when I came back for the examination the people at the front desk told me that my insurance did not cover my examination completely and they had a hard time checking things out but I told them that we should be 100% covered except for US $10 copay they looked it up and they did find that I was correct. The doctor was very nice and performed the eye examination but he didnt put two pieces of information on the card one was pupillary distance and the other one was height on the frames. If you want to fill your scrip online you need that info. They purposely dont add it in I hadnt from aprevious exam so it didnt matter but it was a bit shady.
Great service and great help the people was nice and really made sure I left happy it’s was like night and day vs the waterbury location
Debra was the best sales associate as she took her time in helping me to decide what frames and she put extra effort in, in working different scenarios about my coupons vs. insurance.
If I could do zero stars I would. Waited over 1 hour and 30 mins to have my routine eye exam. Watched several other clients come in and staff neglected to even inform the other patients they were running over an hourAnd half behind. The staff is rude and more concerned about lunch break that accommodating their patients.
Had appointment at the Bristol store for contact lens training for teen. Checked in at front counter with a lady. She went to the back where the exams are conducted and yelled across the room YOU NEED TO COME OVER HERE! Went over and filled out paperwork. Was then informed that Sharlene Barbagallo refused to take my child for the contact lens instruction because we were eight minutes late. They said they already filled my spot with another patient since we were slightly tardy. My appointment was supposed to be two hours. If it started at 5:30 it would end at 7:30. When I called at 6:10 to reschedule, I was told the staff, including Mrs Barbagallo, had already left for the evening. I found out it was Mrs. Barbagallos evening to cover, so it seems like she was more interested in going home than helping a child learn the procedure. We left work and school early to get all the way out there. Totally unacceptable. One time I was there for an appointment and waited 40 minutes to be called in. Funny how they seem okay with making the patient wait. I shouldve known better to go to a real ophthalmologists office, not the McDonalds of eyecare.
I called to get a quote for what I was looking for. When I came into the store, it was three and a half time more. Whilst I was negotiating with salesperson, the lab manager interjects very rudely. I was going to make the purchase anyway at the higher price, but that lab manager has no business snapping at customers. Awful!
Places close at 5 in the afternoon come on really also they talk you up you start at $200 for pair of glasses before you know what youre at 450 bucks better off going to a small eye doctor shop
Good selection and friendly staff . Debbie was excellent in helping me select a new pair of glasses . Theyre expensive but you get what you pay for .
Friendly staff. Appointments are on time.
