Excellent place to eat and/or drink outdoors. You can bring your furry friends as well. The soup of the day was fantastic (chicken tortilla) and the Grapefruit Shandy was super refreshing. Will definitely be back to enjoy the atmosphere and the deliciousness of food/drink.

Still the best tri-tip sandwich. A little spice, a little sweet, and loaded with tri-tip. Far from its original location near the Berkeley campus, it still brings back the undergrad memories.

They had a tasty porter on tap, and the chicken sandwich was great. I barely got seated before my food got to me. Its all outdoors, so I was lucky to catch it on a summer day.

Very cool place to grab a drink and food and sit down enjoying a day with a nice weather. The food was really good. The atmosphere was very cozy and relaxing.

Excellent food and drink options. Fun Outdoor seating environment. Also has a kid friendly area, And the staff here was friendly & inviting. First place I’ve seen in a while that serves liter beers but also has additional sizes to choose from. This place was also rated best sandwiches in the bay area. We had the tri tip sandwich and it was pretty delicious. We will definitely be back and would recommend checking this place out if you happen to be in the area and are looking for good food and good drinks.

I like this place. The food is good - I usually get the tritip sandwich. And while the decor is simple, it works - you have a little bit of a party atmosphere. Its a good place.

Fries were good but could be a lil crisper, not pictured. Didnt like the thick corn breading used to cover the chicken empanadas. I didnt like the chicken filling either. Same breading used for the veggie empanadas. Filling was good with the cheese, corn & I think spinach? Didnt like breading because its not the texture I prefer of not being crispy enough & its thick & heavy.I do like that everything was fried well & wasnt greasy. Id come here again & maybe order the things I like if I was feeling snackish but otherwise, Id eat elsewhere.

The neighborhood ambiance of this place is awesome however the quality of the food is not as consistently delicious as some of the other Brazil Cafe locations in Berkeley. With that said this is still an ideal place if you are looking for a chill place to kick back with some friends in an laidback outdoor setting. They have vast beer, wine, and cider selection, fire pits, plus dog and kid friendly. For food they have meat plus rice or salad bowls, sandwiches, empanadas, chili, and a spectacular green sauce. I give them 3 stars because the prices are on the high side and the bread used for the sandwiches is pretty dry.

Food quality Has gone way down since the other two spots have closed. The food especially the tri-tip just isn’t as fresh and just doesn’t seem to be like it was at the little shop at the top of University that closed.That being said, the beer garden aspect of the place is really really nice. Large area, nice ambience, comfortable and dog friendly (Some people see this is a downside, but there’s not that many places dog owners can eat with their animals, especially during covid). Decent selection and relatively Interesting Beers that are swapped out pretty often it.

Nice atmosphere, good place to come with friends. However, dont come expecting Brazilian Food. Its not authentic. It has a lot of influence from other latin american cuisines and has certainly been americanized (ex: jalapenos in sandwiches, the pastel is not what youd find in Brazil, and youd certainly never find avocados in a salad in Brazil as we only eat avocados in sweet dishes).

I had the regurlar salad bowl and coxinhas. The salad was delicious. The coxinhas was crunchy but too dry. The environment was very cozy. My sis and I were able to enjoy our food under the beautiful California sun.

Always like to hit up this beer garden location after a long hike in the Berkeley hills. Great beer and food options with friendly service. Great for dog owners.

Ive been in love with this place since I met them... I love the tri-tip, the Works, sandwich... if we are friends then Ive taken you here... I now live 3 hours away but generally make my way even to the new location whenever I visit!!!Very lovely space and the owners are real engaging.

I’ve been coming to pedros for some time now, and I feel that since they have moved to this location the portions have gotten smaller and service isn’t as good. The employees are always really nice but I waited 30 mins for my order and the food was cold. Food is still as tasty but pretty disappointed the last 2 times I came.

We enjoy hanging out. Last night we found this superb restaurant which friends recommended to us. We had a delightful time there with first-rate dishes and a professional team and a distinguished chief cook. We added this place in our phone list and we shall no doubt go again soon. Highly recommended.

At the moment you enter that restaurant they give you an agreeable feeling. Very courteous waiters, it is a lovely restaurant to go out with buddies or with your date. enjoyable meals, qualified chef, modest cost and attentive service. Warmly recommended.

Isn’t what it used to be. Still a decent bite and nice spot to eat. Prices keep climbing, portion size seems to get a maller, especially lettuce greens...come on don’t skimp lettuce on a salad! More so flavors and Meat quality are less then they used to be.More about selling beer then keeping up on the food.

The cashier selected an 18% tip before turning the screen towards me and just told me to sign. Most people wouldnt have noticed. I know its hard times but Im not into dishonesty like that.
