I needed window repair after a smash-grab-run of my truck’s passenger-side front window while I was on work assignment in Tacoma. The fastest available appointment for a repair whether in Tacoma or the Portland metro area was with Safelite AutoGlass on SW Canyon Road in Beaverton. It was incredibly easy and efficient to schedule online with many service options. The morning-of the technician, Jesse, was in constant contact with introducing himself and with his ETA.JESSE WAS OUTSTANDING!Since it is an ‘04 and had some unusual mechanics in the power window it required a second visit. But it works perfectly now.I had it tinted by Willy’s in Sherwood.
Had an appointment scheduled for Monday service. Get a call from them that they were short techs to come out and do the repair, they offered to try and get me in the shop same day if comfortable driving with the broken window to their place... Then I am informed that they still couldnt do the repair since they dont have the parts.
Wed been waiting a number of weeks for a different glass company to get a replacement window for our car. Not wanting to wait any longer, we were able to get in rather quickly to this Safelite. We were greeted right away when we arrived and Johnny (sp?) was extremely helpful, professional, and just had a good calming presence. This guy has the exact right attitude to be dealing with customers, so kudos on that. He explained things thoroughly and did a great and timely job getting our window replaced.I certainly hope we dont ever have to come back ;) but if we do, this is the place I would choose.
I love Safelight I have used them for over 20 years.. Never had a problemI am upset because when I need them I am unable to schedule an appointment. Phone Hangs up website will not give appointment until December. I need repair soon . What Happened to the service I used to have?????
Great job! Windshield replaced in less time than committed. Friendly helpful staff.
We had our rear window broken in the day before heading out of town! They team was very professional and was able to squeeze us in and stay after hours to make sure the job was completed professionally and with care. Everyone we talked with from the customer service rep to the in store team was incredibly helpful and friendly. Thanks again!
The website to schedule is down. After 30 seconds trying to schedule an appointment it times out saying I have been inactive for 30 minutes. Try to call and the chatbot can’t comprehend “your website is down” . There’s no other way to contact this business- no actual, live, thinking human beings are available at Safelite. Avoid them at all costs. Wasted 20 minutes of my life on their idiot chatbot loop.
Seeing a commercial reminded me to write a review. In the Fall, a truck going at high speed flung up a rock and that rock found my windscreen. I was able to go right away, without an appointment, to Safelite and they fixed it immediately. They had just replaced the windscreen a few months earlier and understood how upsetting it was for me to have to visit them again. They did great work both times. I hope I don’t have to see them again for awhile but I would strongly recommend them.
I reached out to them to see if i could get an idea on a quote to get the molding around our windshield replaced. I wasnt impressed with how difficult it was to contact someone. There phone line wont connect you to a person, the chat line was the only way. ok but, its easier to talk to someone about some issues. Then they told me to Go contact a body shop OK they wont help with that. Its fine if they dont do that kind of repair but they could have left off the go somewhere else comment. as someone who used to teach customer-service found this to be very unprofessional, I will never use this company after this interaction, and the difficulty of getting ahold of someone to assist.
High quality repair, quickly fixed, good communication. Thank you to TJ for fixing my window. Great attention to detail and transparency with what was done.
Oh man, don’t know where to start.. got my windshield replaced, took 90 minutes, got the keys and guy told me about the warranty and left. Only to discover that the tech broke the cowl panel, installed the side seal wrong, left all the dirt inside the car, didn’t even clean the windshield from inside, then I saw a few scratches on the NEW windshield!!!. Called the store to file warranty claim, for new parts ordered, I was like, good company!Nah, 2 weeks later I got the email that the replant parts are ready, stopped by, told the new tech, Luke, everything and show him the broken part. They took the car for an hour, and told everyone got fixed and no payment is needed as it’s under warranty. I check the windshield, nothing replaced, and the broken part was stupid glued! When I showed the guy, his tone changed, and he said, we repaired it!!I’m the top of that, he accused me that “maybe it was broken before you brought it for the service” what a smart person!!Windshield replacement turned into “we didn’t feel it needs to be replaced, so we buffed it”. Really?? What’s the point of your 30 day manufacture warranty when your cheap windshield already comes in with scratches. It looks like I’m not the only one here doesn’t recommend this place. Better off with local store.
Very helpful. Worked with me to get the broken window replaced quickly.
Glass was replaced and several months noticed the intermittent windshield wipers did not work. Took the car back in and it was an equipment issue. They called in the new part and replaced it at no cost.
Fantastic service 👍 Super quick and everyone was so friendly and helpful.
Always a pleasant experience with there staff and crew.. Honest, Helpful answers and a job well done.. 5 Stars all the way..
Great company. Very professional experience for me and nice and fast
I called to see if they could install a sun roof on my 1986 Mazda b2000But said was obsolete. 🤙👊💪🤙 Thankyou for your help satellite. But going try find um myself🤙🤙🤙💪💪👊👊👊🤙🤙
Had to leave my car all day for a job that wasnt started until after 3 PM after I dropped it off at 8 AM. As a Lyft driver that is a lost day of fares.
All most a 5 star experience, I had a 1.5hr commute time to drop off vehicle [drop off req]. They finished in an hour. I would have much rather drove 1 car and waited. Everything else went perfectly.
There is no way to contact this business unless you have an inside phone line. I had a question and wanted to make a phone payment and was unable to do either. The phone tree asks if you want to wait to speak to someone. If you answer “yes” it just hangs up on you. Now the stupid jingle isn’t the only reason to hate this business
This is the second time Ive had to use these guys. First time was with my windshield being cracked by rocks and the second time was a smash n grab from my car while I was at work. I will never go through anyone else. Their customer service is unmatched and each time they had a repairman out to my house within 2-3 days even during the pandemic. Outstanding service from them and I am hoping this wont happen again but I know where I am going if it does.
On his way to Tillamook last week my sons windshield was hit by an unknown object that flew up from under the pickup in front of him. The object shattered the windshield and put a hole in it as well. He managed to make it to Tillamook. Knowing that it would be a hazard to drive with the window in this condition he immediately got on the phone to find someplace to get it fixed asap, which ended up being Beaverton Safelite AutoGlass. However they would not be able to do it until this Thursday, a week from time of incident. This was going to make things rather inconvenient for him as my son is disabled and confined to a wheelchair. His car has been specially equipped with hand controls so he cant just go rent a car or barrow one while waiting for his to be fixed but he decided to just deal with it. So today Safelite contacts my son and tells they are going to have to keep his car from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m and that he would need to arrange a for a ride instead of telling him this last week when the appointment was made. My son explained to the guy that he is disabled making it difficult to just get a ride. The guy that called him told him to just get an Uber after my son explained to him all the reasons why he cant do that. My son was pretty upset not just because he wasnt told until a week later and a the day before the appointment that the car would have to be left but also because of the total lack of understanding or consideration by the safelight employee as to why he cant cant just call an uber.GREAT CUSTOMER CARE BEAVERON SAFELITE AUTO!!
These guys are awesome! I was there less than the projected time. Nice people, easy to work with. Up front with cost and potential issues.
Safelite is honest and supportive. I had to wait for a few months to get the order delivered, they have updated the status every week. The work itself is quick and robust.
I tried to get my rear window replaced in my truck. They guy at the counter didnt know how to do a quote, so he referred me to another location. This seems like a basic requirement for business.Tried to do business here, but their skill set didnt lend itself to my needs.
Helpful and professional workers in this location..flexible scheduling. These people know their profession very very well. Thanks guys and Happy New Year
Had windshield replaced, took 2 1/2 hours, felt like it was taking long time. Everyone before me they walked out for final inspection. When they got me, just told me to pay and leave. Next day Im driving on freeway and trim piece flew off. Turns out they busted off all three trim pieces and instead of coming clean about it, hot glued them back on. Would not recommend them to anyone!
Super nice. Great job, Morgan!
Two cars 3 visits. So this was my third time there Had some ruff luck with portland so far. I just had my other car windshield replaced by TJ [i think was his name] super professional. Each of the times i been to there im happy i listened to my insurance because these folks are super friendly, respectful, professional and have always finished in the time they estimated. I really liked how i was asked if id want to keep any of the vehicle window decals. Thanks guys!!
Made appointment a week ago. Showed up. At 8am and checked in. Waited 20 minutes and was told that me new glass was damaged and not able to be installed. Then told they could have new glass in by 10am. Okay cool well go get breakfast. Then get a call 5 min later saying that after they actually looked in to things they cant get a new glass today at all. I cant grasp why glass isnt checked for defects before the customer arrives and also why a solution would be offered that hasnt been checked out to work. The lack of any planning is highly concerning. Looks like Ill take my business somewhere that is ready and able to actually install in a timely manner.
Too expensive and took to long for appointment, went with another company.
All workers were professional and courteous. Great service overall.
David came out and fixed my rear quarter panel glass at my house. He was exceptionally nice and really appreciated his service which speaks highly of this Safelite location. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again!
An amazing group of techs who took care of my window and my concerns so professionally. Really appreciate the time they took to help with my follow up questions!
Great experience all around. It was easy to schedule online using my phone. Made a mobile appointment for between 8am-12pm. The tech (Richard) called and let me know he was on his way at about 8:30. The repair took a little over a hour and it looks great.
Best place to go for car glass. Love it
Liberty Mutuals online claim was super easy, and directed us to their preferred provider, Safelite. I was skeptical, and was going to go with a company Ive used previously, but Im glad I tried Safelite out. They texted 20 minutes before arrival, showed up on time, and were prepared for a no contact environment (this was during COVID-19). We had a crack at least 1 inch long. The technician C__i provided great customer service. Twenty minutes later C__i was done and I couldnt even tell where the crack was. He did note that we got lucky with how well the repair went, and that they dont always go that well. Ill take lucky. The one negative was with the information the company sent over prior to our appointment. They recommended 7 ft of distance so the technician could work, so we couldnt keep the car in our garage. We moved it out to the street, per their specific directions. C__i arrived, and said that the resulting heat would be a problem, so at his direction, I moved the car back in the garage. More detailed and/or accurate directions would be appreciated, but they have ways of cooling the sun-heated windshield down, so no harm done.
They were fantastic! Just had a window replacement done today and they did it within the day like they said, and to top it off they worked with me when the transit was running behind. Thank you to the manager and Travis for staying later for me. Five stars for you for making an already stressful situation of having my belongings broken into, so so much smoother.
Awesome service, high level of professionalism, only took 20 minutes, and super easy to make an appointment.
Will definitely use Beaverton Safelite again with my State Farm insurance. Service was quick, easy and the team was great to work with. I received many updates via phone call. The small cracks on my front windshield expanded after weather became cold -- so I had to get the full window replaced and as a bonus Safelite was able to recalibrate Honda sensing on site!
Will not go back here; unprofessional and poor service. My car got broken into while in Canada but after a quick call with my insurance company everything seemed to be on track quickly. Insurance Co. routed me directly to Safelite and an appointment was scheduled.Three days later I received a call from the shop saying that the replacement window was a special order and would require more time to arrive, cancelled my appointment, and they added two weeks to the estimated time to get the part delivered and put in. One week later I get another call, with another delay of a week. Finally the part comes in, schedule an appointment, both my partner and I schedule our work day around the shop repair, only to receive a call later that afternoon that they had the wrong part (apparently incapable of checking they had the right part prior to the customer changing their day to accommodate the appointment).Picked up the car with one of their temporary windows in place of my own temporary fix, and was told it would be at least another week for another replacement part to show up. The temporary fix was done with some sort of duct tape, which I did not use as it leaves a lot of adhesive behind. The Safelite temporary fix was also significantly louder so I ended up putting my own fix over it so at least the noise levels were bearable again.Ultimately they did get the right part in and were able to put my car back together. However, I received my car back with tape residue from their duct tape fix still on the car, glass still in the back where the car had been broken into, and a wad of what looked like paper towel stuck on my windshield wiper, presumably from them cleaning the window.I complained about the complete experience to the counter person, and he was not interested in engaging me in a conversation to find out what happened or how they could make it better.Again, overall poor, poor customer service. Took a month all in all, and I still have glass in my car. I have had experience with other glass shops, and will go back there next time. Had two windshields done at MS Auto Glass, right up the road from this Safelite location, much better experience. Do not go to this Safelite, there are other options available
They replace windshield on my truck an did a good job. 👌👍👍
Employees are great very polite show respect in the man that did my car he was on the highest of awesome He found my problem. 🧐
Amazingly helpful and did a wonderful job!
Office staff were very helpful in getting everything organized and scheduled. The repair quality wasnt quite what we had hoped, though, with a trim piece getting bent during a follow up visit to replace some clips that broke during the first service.
I made an appointment in person to have my cracked windshield replaced and broken off rearview mirror remounted. After waiting a week for my appointment day, I went in just to be told that they didnt have the right mirror mount. I rescheduled my appointment for the next available time, a week later, even though they said the part they needed was only in Portland. So I came back a week later and was told that whoever ordered the mirror mount ordered the same wrong one. So I was in the same position I had been in the week before, still driving with no rearview mirror, and wasting my time coming in for nothing. They said they could grind down the back of the mirror mount and glue it on if I didnt want to wait for the correct part...again. If that was the case, I dont know why they couldnt have done that at my original appointment. Anyway, I told them to just get it done because I couldnt drive without a rearview mirror any longer. When it was done a couple hours later, I got in my car to find that the rearview mirror was mounted SO LOW on the windshield that not only are the wires showing that were not visible at all before, but my vision out of my front windshield is extremely compromised with the mirror below my eye level, I have to crouch down to see beyond the mirror. I am extremely upset and every time I drive it, I get upset that my vision is compromised, not just as a driver, but as a mother of a 1 year old who is currently 6 months pregnant. I feel that they did a terrible job and didnt care enough to do it properly. I am currently looking elsewhere to get it redone properly.
My windshield is popping out its not good plePlace to do business
Since the glass repair on my car was through insurance, I wasnt given the option to review the work in a survey but I wanted to leave a review here. The service Ive received has been very high quality and I really appreciated the technicians the came out to perform the work. Evan and Jose were the techs assigned to my job and they were both very polite, professional, and worked very hard to give me an excellent glass repair. I would highly recommenced Safelite!
Best customer service ever experienced! Friendly, competent from start to finish. Spacious waiting area with snacks and beverages was a nice surprise. Windshield replaced and wipers in 60 min. Thanks to Brian, Kathy and Valerie for a great job!
Our tech (Adam) was on time, AMAZING, and knowledgeable. Based on some of these reviews I was really worried BUT I am so thankful of how great my experience was! I will definitely use them again (hopefully we wont need to but I will) and I will most DEFINITELY recommend them!
The people there were so kind and helpful! Would highly suggest going here.
I just want to thank Safelite Auto glass for their excellent customer service!! My car was broken into a couple days before Christmas and when I called to schedule an appointment the representative from the call center told me I could just show up the next day before 11 AM and they would have my window done by the end of the day. When I showed up the next day, I was told the representative gave me false information. (So this is the only bad part, do not listen or believe them if they tell you to just show up.) The lady at the front desk could tell I was upset and did everything she could to make this right. She sent one of her shop guys to the warehouse by the airport to pick up my piece of glass and they still had my window fixed by the end of the day. They also vacuumed to get all the glass out of the car and cleaned all my windows. They went above and beyond and I highly recommend them (just make sure you schedule with someone at the actual shop location.) Thank you so much Safelite Auto Glass! This is real customer service.
A little bit slower than bi thought, to replace the windshield. 3 hours..I did this in auto body.. 1.5 hours.. or less.
Very sweet staff. Took care of me for sure! Ari is awesome! Reception desk very helpful even tho I took forever to get back to them. I highly recommend this company! They flash wrapped my window for me since I couldnt get my window fixed for a while and vacuumed it out in the spot.I strongly recommended this company.
Great service and great staff!
Had the most lovely service today after a rough start to our Portland visit. The staff were very understanding about our incident and were extremely helpful and gracious in repairing our busted out window in a very quick manner. We planned to only be here 4 days and were seen the exact same day we called to make an appointment. Thank you so much for the genuine customer service and helping to save our trip!
I would highly NOT recommend this company for any rock chip repairs and if I could give them 0 stars I would. Lack of communication, terrible service and poor workmanship. The front desk receptionist, Valerie Compton, should NOT be the face of the company (as this is part of what a receptionist is). She blames customers and excuses Safelite’s actions before hearing their complaint. As a consumer, this gives bad feelings. Also, do NOT ever tell a customer “Oh well was your window clean before we worked on it? Because the damage was probably worse and you didn’t see it.” First of all, obviously my windshield was dirty, I drove my car to your location. Second of all, IF the damage was there before (which it wasn’t), you should call your customer before you ever start working on the car. DO NOT ASSUME everything was communicated. What was a small chip, has now turned into a 4inch scratch on my window. I have talked to their Operations manager (Ryan Lane) since, and I understand that there was poor communication; however, I feel as if I should be compensated something since their company did not follow their “system” by informing customers about the worst possible situation as well as NOT doing a walk around the vehicle with me. I would NEVER recommend Safelite to anyone.
This place is a rip off. I have a 12 crack from a rock chip. I went through their quote section online and it asks for all of the insurance information. My deductible is $500. They were going to charge me the full $500. WHAT?!?!?! I got a lot of other company quotes for half that price. Seems like a scam. When I called my insurance company they said that is the company they go through and they dont have any say over their pricing. But that is the ONLY company they recommend. This company is a SCAM and Im ready to change my insurance company (Allstate) for knowingly going along with this scam. Im sure they are both getting money from people who trust their insurance company and dont know better. Shop around and find a local glass company that will do a great job and charge you an honest price.
Super convenient scheduling, friendly staff, quality work done. Thanks all!
Tim just left after doing a great job replacing the windshield in my car. He found some rust from a bad prior replacement (no idea what company on that one, they had used a blade and cut the paint) and ground it down and fixed it right with rust inhibitor. Super professional, lots of communication with texts and a call prior to arrival. Went though my insurance and the whole process was great.
I had a great experience with Safelite after my insurance found them to replace a cracked windshield on my RAV4. They allowed me to drop off the car before they opened and pick it up at my convenience that afternoon. They walked me through their work. A great overall experience.
Three times I had to take time away from my work and the first time the guy that scheduled it said this Tuesday and no show so I called and they rescheduled for a Thursday and had the wrong glass then rescheduled and couldnt make it on time but manager said they couldnt be at my place the next day by 8am even though appointment was 8am to noon because he had to come pick up glass but I said but he already has the glass in his van now so why would he need to come pick up something he already has????? Not doing this again I already called my insurance company and ask for a more professional business.
I was not too happy with the service here. Overall the guys doing the install were nice and genuine but the window installation took them from 130pm-almost closing time which is 5pm. Apparently they lost parts that kept the window in place(or something of this sort). They ended up accidentally throwing the parts away, but in the end they found them(which I appreciate) it just shouldnt have happened/taken this long in the first place and completely consumed my day off. Lastly when I got into my car the inside of it was pretty dirty from the installation(along the dash and two edges). I would have been alot less unhappy in the end if they had taken the time to make sure to clean up after them selfs. Otherwise they did a good job on the installation and it has held up so far.
Three chip fill experiences with Safelite so far and everyone was perfect. One they came to me and two I came to them. I made appointments for all experiences and recommend as they often are completely full with appointments alone. They did a great job, I was shocked how nearly invisible the previous damage to my windshield was. Overall process was painless and their staff was courteous and friendly. Appreciated the coffee and TV lounge area as I waited for my vehicle on the second two times. Ive used other places in the past for windshield repair, but none have done as close of a good job as Safelite. Wont use anyone else.
They made an Appointment for 330. They didnt start working on it until 5!!!! Would avoid this place at all costs. If they give you an appointment time pin them down as to Exactly when they will actually work on the car! Will not be coming back
Hayden is a kind person and an amazing worker. More workers like him will leave positive reputation of the company.
In in out in 30 min. Expected to wait atleast an hour Or twoFriendly professional staffHighly recommended
Diffident clerk ate potato chips through most of our conversation and hadnt bothered to check online appointments, so had no idea why I was there. Tried to convince me that a large repair would be fine, though you will still be able to see it, then admitted that they couldnt do a repair that day. Turns out they didnt have the glass, so my afternoon dedicated to windshield replacement was just wasted. Luckily, there are a lot of glass shops that dont bait and switch.
They took care of my windshield after a rock damaged it. Windshield looks like new. Great service and pricing. Made an appointment online and got a discount. Highly recommended.
Had a great experience- got my rear door window replaced in about 30 minutes. The tech, Jesse, was very friendly. The waiting room itself was clean and had drinks and snacks. Definitely recommend.
I had my windshield installed in my schools parking lot. The technician was polite and accommodating about checking in at the office and being on school grounds. The repair/replacement was remarkable and they even replaced my rear view mirror. Thank you!
Fixed my window professionally.
Branden from Safelite came to my office and replaced my windshield. He was prompt, professional and did a great job. Overall very easy and great experience with Safelite!
They worked on my car a year ago, got me in same day as my chip. Took them about an hour and it was done, awesome workers, all so nice. I will only go go a safelite for my glass issues. I have been two a couple locations all have been awesome
2 Hour wait after an appointment. Mask-less people eating in the waiting area.
To they did a great job
Nice people to work with and it was done at my house. I would definitely use them again.
Very pleasant welcome. The chip was determined on the edge for its size to be fixed so a full disclaimer was given about its residual looks. 1/2 hour later it was done and didnt look bad at all. They took care of working with my insurance co. for payment. Friendly technician also.
Trying to ask a simple question: Can you attach a rear view mirror. Good luck finding a person to answer it.
Went there for a rock chip repair. They told be 30 mins. 1.5hrs later still waiting. I would recommend any other glass shop
Had my windshield replaced here after a stone flew out of a dump truck and cracked it. Was going to take over a week for them to come to my location but if I drove to them I could get in the next day so I went to the shop. I was a bit early but my vehicle went in at the appointed time. The technician showed me where I had some leakage around the windshields boot and that mt frame was starting to rust. He cleaned it hit it with some primer and paint and you could not tell. Windshield is actually better than the stock one I had for not fogging up.
These Guys Are AWESOME!! I really appreciate them taking care of my issue. And they were Super-Fast! Thank you so much!
Dont trust the review on their website cause they deleted my review. Thus I had to leave the review here at google so that everyone knows. Heres what I left for the review and got deleted:The front desk lady is so rude and constantly wears a long face that makes us never want to step into the office again. We wont even recommend anyone coming to this particular store as long as shes still here. We first went for glass repair, but ironically their repair caused another crack and thus we had to replace the whole windshield. The repair price was $120 but she said only $60 can be deducted from the replacement cost. She refused to properly explained to us and wears a long face for no reason. The technicians are in general nice and friendly but they didnt pay attention to details, we had to fix on our own afterwards(we took pictures of before and after too). The whole experience is horrible. We choose this shop based on the review that we see, so we are now leaving another view of point so that people can be warned.
Very nice and fast
Very good work, very freindly, quick work.
Good luck trying to get a complete quote (read the fine print, they dont include taxes or supplies in their price) or even trying to find a human being to talk to. I sat in their hold queue for 30 minutes with no response whatsoever.
Horrible customer service...dont bother with 1-800 number it doesnt ring locally. You MUST physically drive to the store to talk to anyone! Dropped car off the night before, and they forgot it was there. But didnt call to ask us where we were for our appt...nor did they call to tell us they eventually found it HOURS later. They finished it just before closing...it is 4:55pm and were still waiting. The receptionist did make an effort to comp us for the wait which we appreciated.
Good customer service
I contacted my insurance company to see about the covered glass replacement services under my policy. They contract through Safelite and scheduled a mobile appointment within minutes. The entire experience was very modern in terms of response time and applications for customer notification. After the initial booking through my insurance company, I received email and text notifications with the name, number, and picture of the tech who would be doing the work on my vehicle. The day of the service, I received a call from Stacey, the tech who worked on the vehicle. He and I coordinated plans and the backstory of the repair. My wife had been running around with a cracked windshield for a while and asked for it to be repaired as a Christmas present. Stacey was on board to do the repair as quietly as possible at our home (seeing as the wife works nights and was asleep at the time).I also threw a curveball at Stacey and asked him about the glass repair of a highly modified import hot rod. He was very matter of fact that the piece could be repaired and seemed undaunted about the work even though it is an unusual import to see these days, much less to work on.Stacey completed the windshield replacement quickly and cleanly. He vacuumed the vehicle and wiped all the glass on the vehicle. We spoke for a few minutes after that regarding the work, warranty, the brick and mortar Safelite location and life in general. After that, he was off to his next call and I was left with a mint windshield and a great experience.Whats the short story of my experience? Great tech in Stacey, GREAT support, and top flight name.
Quick service (just a front windshield chip repair) & quality work. Cody was efficient & friendly in his discussion & explained all details.
Had my jeep serviced today. Service was excellent! However: i was charged three times for the transaction ($800 EXTRA!!).At 4pm on a weekday their customer service is closed.I searched online for a direct phone number and can only find corporate customer service.I then drove to the store location to be told there is no management working and that there is nothing they can do about it.Dont get ripped off!!!!!They charged me $1200 for a windshield and there is nothing they can do to help me.EDIT: In response to the comment from the owner:This was not an auth or a hold. These were three separate $400 charges, that I disputed with Bank Of America who reversed the charges. Please do not try to make others think that the customers who have valid complaints do not know what they speak of.Your team does not need to look into my dispute a month after the fact when I was told the day of that you could not help me. I also never received a call back from the voice message I left the customer service phone line that can be found online.
We waited over a month to have them come out and they didnt show up.Re-arranged our Saturday for this. We have two emails with any content on Safelite - one from our insurance that recommended them and one from them confirming our appointment for today. They accused us of cancelling - then why didnt we get an email showing that? Disorganized business.Wish we had noticed all the bad reviews earlier - apparently we arent the only ones.Called MS Glass and already have an appointment for two days from now.
I wish all repair service places were this efficient and friendly. April, the office manager, called the day before the appointment to remind me. Then she was very friendly when I was signing in. When told that the service would take about 1 1/2 hours, I thought to myself, Sure. Ill have to add at least 1/2 hour to that estimate. Well, they were faster than the estimated time! Bruce, the wonderful technician, gave me the keys upon completion and told me what was involved and how Safelite would take care of any future needs. Great Guy! He even vacuumed my car (better than Ive ever done) and cleaned all my windows. This is a great repair place.
Rude and lazy receptionist and ultimately, much cheaper elsewhere.
My rearview mirror straight-up fell off. I took it to the dealer and they said they didnt have the right glue and recommended a place in SW Portland. I did quick search and found this place instead.I walked in and they helped me out right away. Told me it would take about 20-30 min to get to it and then about 10 min to finish; no problem, cause Things From Another World is right across the street. But actually, they gave me a call when it was done, which was only 20 min later! The best part: it was free! I just tipped for the work. I would definitely recommend them.
These guys were great. They fixed a worrisome rock chip and made it virtually vanish. A few short days later I suffered another rock chip, much bigger in a really tough spot but they were still able to fix that one as well and I feel much better. Scheduling online couldnt be easier. Thanks!
They got the insurance to cover the repair and got me on the road. It was really good service and the website appointment calendar works well
Easy to work with, transparent pricing, and knowledgeable staff!
