The staff were very Friday and the location was convenient.The first purpose of the service visit was a parts replacement under a GM recall.It was easy to set up and schedule the appointment, and I assume the work was done correctly (I am not a mechanic and the change isnt obvious).The time estimate to complete the work was shorter when I called, so when I received.the longer one in person I had to scramble a bit for a ride to and from home and revise my work schedule for the day.And then in the end, the shorter estimate was actually correct but I couldnt reschedule my work day a second time. Otherwise, earlier completion is better.The second purpose was to replace a broken key fob. This was done effectively and in the same visit. However, the cost was 40 percent higher than what I was quoted over the phone.

The guys at Richard Lucas are AMAZING!!! The staff goes above and beyond. From the check in process to the explaining of the work completed I’m 150% satisfied!!!!! I was very hesitate to come to a new dealership because Ive been leasing a GM vehicle from same dealership for 9 years. The staff was pleasant when I came to drop off my vehicle for standard maintenance. However when I was called to pick up the vehicle no one discussed with me recommendations for the car. I was told at pick up someone would discuss any finding or recommendations. At pick up no one discussed the maintenance on the vehicle and the recommendations. I was advised to pay and they brought my car around. I have never experienced this at any other Chevy dealership and will not return for future services

I always had excellent service from Chevy dealership for my car service. It is fast, reasonable charges (often the Service manager offers good discount or helps with Coupons). The online appointment process is simple and the quality of the service is good. During my 3 years, I did not have to incur any additional out-of-pocket expense for my service. I called in to ask about leasing a Chevy bolt and asked the man (definitely won’t use the word gentleman here) who picked up what the prices are and he said verbatim “Oh we don’t do that over the phone we only discuss prices in person.” We said “Oh ok so you can’t tell us anything?” And he said word for word in the most condescending tone of voice “Well I could but I’m not going to.” We were absolutely shocked and politely said bye and hung up. Maybe it’s because we are younger and so an older man thinks he can treat us that way but in my entire life I’ve never heard anyone in customer service speak to someone like that. I asked a normal question and was treated so incredibly rudely. Who even says that? “Well I could but I’m not going to”? Are you guys sure you’re salespeople? Because you’ve just ensured that no one in my family will ever set foot in a Chevy ever again. Also has common courtesy and basic decency just flown out the window? Who talks to people like that? And as a salesperson? How do you even have a job? Isn’t your entire job to try and get people to buy something? The audacity to speak to someone, anyone like that is insane. And when you’re in customer service? Maybe this man was having a bad day but WOW I’m so shocked. I understand that there’s a chip shortage and so there’s a high demand for your cars but that doesn’t entitle you to be so brusque and rude to a potential customer.

As a single woman, car buying can be a scary venture. The Sales Team at Richard Lucas is extremely friendly, professional and understanding of your finances and needs. Dave, the Manager is awesome.....he does not push anything on you and works the best deal for you. This is our third vehicle that we have purchased at Richard Lucas Chevrolet. We went in there just looking for a new vehicle for the one who’s lease is up soon. We spotted a truck that we were interested in and we walked out with it that night. It was such an easy process everybody there is so easy to work with. This dealership made my dreams come true with the purchase of a 2018 Chevy Tahoe! The car buying experience was pain free and as quick as it could be! My husband and I live about an hour and half away from the dealership and it was definitely worth the trip there. I inquired about the vehicle online and received a prompt response back and was able to set up an appointment to look at the vehicle a day later! I had the pleasure of dealing with Marty and Dave who were personable, respected my wishes and budget, and were the farthest thing from pushy. They were honest and very knowledgeable! My only complaint is that the car that I bought could have been cleaned more in depth. Before we pulled out of the lot I had to ask for someone to come wipe the back seats as there was dried sticky juice or something on the leather. When I got home, after further inspection, there were crumbs and food under the third row seating. But the car is used, so to be expected! This aside I had a wonderful experience and would recommend to anyone!

The staff were friendly and the oil change and tire rotation was very quick. I made an appointment online which was very easy as well.My only issue was there was only coffee/hot drinks available as a refreshment in the waiting area & no snacks or wrapped baked goods, as other places usually have, but I imagine that is expected due to the pandemic.

If you’re looking for mediocre and want a poor customer experience this is the best place for it. I was amazed by the lack of professionalism and the mess of a sales floor. Not worth it.If you’re looking for good experience much rather quality chevrolet, they were professional, accommodating, and answered questions. I brought my Chevy to be fixed, and got it back worse, with a missing part!They tried to send my wife home with the damaged truck after paying lots of hundreds of dollars.Turns out this dealer got robbed and someone cut the catalytic converters off, they had the audacity to hide this from us. luckily my wife noticed the weird noises the truck was making and demanded it got fixed! A month later, I still haven’t heard anything!!Maybe they thought that because we are Hispanic, and my wife is a women we wouldn’t notice the issue !

I would like to say the service I received was very professional my wife was currently at work so they offered me a ride home which was free. The dealership does a thorough check on your vehicle to make sure everything is safe. I got a transmission flush my brakes bleeded and oil change the price was very fair, also I included the coupons that I had. They keep you updated on the vehicle and give you an estimated time when your vehicle will be ready. I highly recommend this place the guy that help me his name was Ryan very helpful polite and respectful. I had to get tire rods also new Wheels and a wheel alignment Ryan respectfully acknowledge that I did not have any more money to currently get the vehicle those services he recommended and he also gave me the price for the future. If anyone purchase a vehicle and they expected to run for a very long time I would recommend bringing it to the dealership the dealership can cost a little more than your average mechanic but they get your vehicle service very fast and you dont have to worry about when your local mechanic will finish with the job.

I scheduled an appointment to check my 2021 Chevrolet silverado 1500 that had a check engine light with only 700 miles on it. When I called I spoke to Adam S.and he was so professional and efficient and assured me that my issue would be resolved. When I arrived that Saturday to drop off my truck Kristie G also was so professional and gave me her undivided attention. I was beyond satisfied with the treatment I received. Got a call saying I was going to loose Rebates if I didn’t show up same day. Waited 3 hours for final sale. Car was already selected and Car deposit was already down. What was the wait for? I was told the final sale would be less than one hour, spent 3 hours of vacation time. Best part of the experience was Seth my salesman. Def don’t feel I didn’t got a good deal with original msrp at 33k and final msrp at 39k WITH 9k down. Also negotiating with no financial details I’m front of you should be illegal.

The appointment was easy to make. I need a new Catalytic Converter, which is covered by my warranty. However, it is back ordered with no ETA or time frame. Im in the process of moving and this henders my plans significantly. A ball park or a suggested estimate would help. But I was told theyll call me!

Over the July 4th weekend our son became stranded in the Edison, NJ area when our 2019 Equinox broke down. I contacted Lucas Chevrolet on 7/6 to get a repair under warranty and spoke to Adam who informed me that his first opening was on Saturday 7/10. I explained the vehicles problem to Adam and informed him that our son was stranded out of town. While gathering my information for the appointment Adam was able to get me an appointment on 7/7. I told him that my son would drop the car off on the 6th since it only had limited power. When my son dropped the car off he was greeted by Peter who told him that if any technician got free he would have them take a look at the car. At 2:00 Peter called to say the car was ready. Our son was home that evening, having only missed 1 day of work. Lucas Chevrolet went above and beyond the call of duty to get our vehicle back on the road! I give them ***** 5 stars.

My husband and I visited Richard Lucas Chevrolet to purchase a new vehicle. Our salesman Angelo was very friendly and efficient. He was knowledgeable on the cars and options available. The manager George was also very helpful and friendly. They worked with us to get us what suits our needs at a price point we are comfortable with. We traded in our 2016 equinox for a 2020 equinox and were very happy. We were also comfortable with their handling of the pandemic and how clean it is inside as well as the social distance and mask wearing. Overall great experience.

The men that worked with me were very nice and super friendly. They didn’t talk to me as if I was a female who didn’t know what she was doing. They treated me just like they would treat a man buying a car. You don’t find that in many places. They didn’t even pressure me into anything but I left with an amazing car that day anyway!!
