I used to be scared walking into this place when I was like 15 or 16. I use to walk in hoping it was a cool hippy-stoner working that wouldnt ask for our I.D. which was rarely. Instead wed hear, HEY! MUST BE 18!!! LOL .. Now as Im older I freaking love this place!!! The people working here are always nice, helpful, and really cool people. MUST wear masks to enter, but other than that its a cool experience be visiting this store. They sell all kinds of neat stuff FR. Everyone must visit promise there is something for everyone!!

The personification of Keep Austin Weird. This place has novelty gifts and items for recreational use. The staff is cool af. In fact, I gotta recognize Jay for going above and beyond for me. I purchased a hat pin, but it was missing the fastener. Jay went out to his car and gave me one from his personal stash. WOW! Who does that these days?!? To say I was impressed would be an understatement. This is my new go-to place for finding gifts for birthdays, holidays, etc.

I live in Bastrop. I travel into Austin to this specific head shop. The blue haired girl is extremely knowledgeable about the products yall offer. I have never seen someone PROVE durability in a pipe by slamming it on the counter.

Enjoyed my visit. They didnt have a good selection of stones, grinders or coin purses. Nevertheless, customer service was better than good!

We purchased one pack of candy one night, (Razzels to be exact) which were priced for $1.99. The very next day we noticed we had been over charged $21. When we returned to receive our money the next day, the lady at the cash register was nice but the lady that pushed her out the way was very rude. Initially we thought she was just trying to take over the situation but she seemed pretty annoyed that we were there for a refund. While explaining our situation, she placed her hand up as if she was telling me to be quiet, while everyone else ran around the store trying to help us out. Once we returned for a third time, to grab our receipt copy the same rude lady, felt the need to state and next time you dont have to come in here being all rude When asked, as calmly as possible, how was I being rude? She said exhibit A . I wish we asked for a name, it was very unprofessional of her. I really hope she wasnt a manager!

Planet k is always fun and inviting and the employees are always rock and roll the best be blessed.

Always a chill atmosphere, and love all the products they have. Had a issue with a product, but one of the employees apologized and offered me a discount after wanting to try something else. I always get what i need.

Violating Labor LawIve recently found out that Planet K has a history of docking employee pay when inventory counts come up short. This is a State and Federal crime and all employees should file reports immediately.

The staff here is always super helpful!

I love all the planet ks because of their energy and the people within and they kick some serious behind be very blessed all those in and without.

I just get a real high when Im expecting a visit to this awesome store with awesome people. Everything Ive bought there has made me happy 😁 every time.

I write this review with a heavy heart....I got an ash catcher for my glass here (Ash Catcher : GEAR Premium® 45 Degree Turbine Perc Ash Catcher; Glass: Gravlab Small Wide Base; I was between that and a new bong in total. I got glass from here and really loved it.The ash that was recommended by the sales associate didnt fit properly in my piece. He tested all the ash catchers on the in store model of the glass I own. 2 days after having the catcher, it fell out of the glass while it was on the table with no one touching it. This was due to the awkward angle of the ash catcher down stem on the piece making the frosted to frosted glass not seal properly. Visually it was nearly impossible to identify.This is where things got frustrating for me. After explaining the situation to the guy on the phone his response was generally they dont do anything for that but they possibly could give me 15% off. The ash catcher can be found for $35 online. I paid $45 in the store (Normally 50 but I got 15% off the when I purchased the piece originally.) That 43% mark up gets you the ability to get something faster not the customer service. If I picked up glass without help or dropped it and broke it myself, I agree that would be all on me, but thats not what happened. Im out $45 bucks for trusting an employee that worked there.I find it really difficult to justify shopping here when prices are 43% higher than online and there is no help for if something goes wrong. I bought it in person to support local and to be able to have a human to work with if anything happened. I asked for the piece to be replaced and that if it broke again the fault would all be on me. Im not sure what the right answer is but it doesnt feel like being being out ~$50 bucks from trusting what someone there sold me.It just sucks because I really want to like the store. They have cool stuff, the people are nice; but now its forcing me to go else where because I cant trust that they stand behind what they sell and that the premium I pay for here is for nothing.

Had a weird experience here today. I saw a customer with a service dog told that they couldn’t have their service dog in the store due to the fact that the store dog didn’t like other dogs. It indeed is against the law...and it was awkward listening to the employees say the guy was giving them a hard time about it when he stated that and just...left. I feel like if your store dog can’t get along with service dogs, he doesn’t need to be in the store. The cashier also had his mask hanging off of one ear. Wasn’t thrilled about that either. Got what I needed and left.

They take the crown from the onion creek location after they lost the dude with dreads and the chick with the shaved head, this staff is %100 cool cats.

Great customer service. Just wish they had a public restroom because I had a long drive home. The easiest entrance to get to this location is not the main road just a head up. Cheapest place I have found for CBD oils.

Hispanic lady was very rude when my daughter and I came into the store tonight before the city shut down to pick up a couple things. Got an attitude when we said we just really wanted to look around real quick. If its a problem to have customers in your store you shouldnt have been open. Will never go to this location again because of this employee. My daughter and I were having a great evening till she killed the whole vibe with her rudeness.

I am always amazed at how many Planet K locations there seem to be in this town. This store has been here for a while and I have been here a number of times. The staff here is exceptional!!! So helpful and Super Friendly! I would highly recommend this location simply based on the Staff! Could not be NICER.

Thought Id swing by to get some cream chargers at 11:50pm and was told to go home after I opened the door. I mentioned that it was only 11:50pm and he shrugged his arms and walked up front. Called the store and asked for the Manager and was pretty much luaghed at. Guess I will try some where eles.

Overpriced, of course.. but where else can you get some of the items they sell?? This location actually has had a great staff every time I have visited. It’s hit and miss with the other locations. Huge variety of different items at this location.. I got some wind chimes on one occasion at this location!

Very nice selection I love to go hear they have a lot of different gifts you could get for someone and the rocks they have there are my favorite they have us some jewelry that I left to buy us gifts for people and they are very professional courteous and helpful they always have more than enough staff to help you with what you need to get in and out and if you have any questions just ask them because they’ll help you right away

The girl with short parrots colored hair was very rude and degrading!!!!!!! I bought some bamboo spacers they gave me the wrong sizes I was like cool no problem I still have the receipt I can go back and take it back and get the ones I really want and I came back and they said that all sales are final even with the receipt I cant get the one I want all I wanted was a matching set I spent $20 on them and I cant get the ones I want I really feel like thats a rip-off and I dont think Im ever coming back to Planet K Ive been coming to Planet K for 15 years..

Incredibly friendly staff who are super helpful with any questions. Theyve a wide array of super cute lil knick knacks from small instruments to silly science based toys. Some unique candies, CBD infused products like teas or brownies, and a great selection of incense for a pretty great price.

I have always loved Planet K and have shopped at this specific one several times. However, I was disappointed when one of their products broke, within 30-40 minutes and they wouldnt replace it. Standing behind their own game of its a eucalyptus inhaler youre not supposed to light it. REALLY? While I know that were only supposed to be using tobacco products in their pipes, come on get real. I definitely will not be spending this kind of big money (cuz we all know their way expensive) on a product that they wont back.

Need a disc golf for yourself to use because your friends invited you to play at the Mary Moore Searight Disc Golf? Come here! Plenty of great pricing on discs and all things needed to play disc golf for a rookie (like me!). Fun little shop to browse around and see what you could get for someones birthday next time. Staff was nice and music was super loud to feel like I was the only one in the store (because I was), which made me feel much more comfortable. Check out the posters in the back - super rad and cool especially the black light posters.

Been here often everytime i want to add a pipe to the collection cause you know they got the bomb selections and im probably guessing that if you a mescan lol (Mexican) then dont walk in with a chase card because they defiantly will treat you like you stole it. But other than that after you pass all the identification checkpoints then your free to buy what you need. Most employees are wonderful but some who seem like they hate being there act like jerks.P.s hope you liked the ryme when i started because it was based on my encounter right now.

If you’re going there for Kratom, think twice and don’t do it. They sell the exact same product as a vape shop on william cannon and manchaca for TWICE the price. it’s a giant ripoff. Probably and other store will get you much better deals. The place overall seems shady, and they price gouge like mad. Consider taking your business somewhere else
