I have actually pondered placing this review for 6 months now. Back in March my Daughter was in a horrible accident that she flipped her car twice she was okay her car was not. So we found ourselves car shopping.I reached out to my local dealer and they gave me a price on a new Ford Bronco Sport that she wanted. Since my Daughter lives 900 miles away I thought why not try a local dealer in Austin. After reaching out to Eddie Sifuentes at Maxwell Ford he and Steve Cargo his Manager had worked up a proposal that had a 3K dollar market adjustment. I explained to Eddie that we would still like to do business with Maxwell Ford because I did not want to drive the 900 miles to get my Daughter her new Bronco.I asked if he would just match my local dealers proposal and sent him the proposal they gave me. His response I guess you will be driving 1800 miles meaning round trip I guess. I am not angry with Maxwell. I am sure they are an outstanding outfit. And I even mentioned that I appreciated him going for all the money in my response. However after thinking about his unprofessional response to me. After just asking him if he would match was completely uncalled for.Well the very next dealer not only matched the deal that my local dealer offered but they beat it by 1k dollars. Maxwell Ford I think we could have done much better then this.

Bought my Miata 2-3 months ago from Maxwell Ford. Negotiations on my trade in went pretty well, and I absolutely love the car. I found some issues with the car after I bought it, and Maxwell Ford did what they could to make it right. The car is fantastic now. Really appreciate the managers that got the work done for me. Absolutely would recommend Maxwell Ford again, they have fantastic customer service, a pristine show room, and knowledgeable sales people. Much better experience there than when I bought from Capitol Chevrolet.

We headed to Maxwell Ford from the airport with our luggages to buy a car. We were very happy that we could find a car and drove to the hotel until we found out they scammed us.(I feel like I got scammed. If I didnt check the contract carefully again, I wouldnt know I got charged more!!!) We signed a lot of papers without having a dinner until almost 9pm and by the time we got this car we were exhausted. The next day I checked the paperwork carefully again and I found out they charged us $1000 more than the price we bought. I tried to reach out by phone and nobody were available to resolve the issue. I had to drive there to talk to them. Troy said it was a mistake! It has been almost a month and we didnt get this $1000 back yet. I have kept texting him but seriously????? I dont know how this big brand name Ford can do this. Yes maybe you could charge $1000 more by mistake but shouldnt you act very fast when you found out you did this serious mistake?? I had to drive there to resolve the issue!! Not only that, after a month, after texting you 9 times throughout the month you are still talking to me you will take care of this??!!!!

First and foremost I want to say that Frankie was great and a real pleasure to work with, so on the customer service side, I was very happy.My complaint however is that after spending over $2500 mostly on general maintenance along with a few minor cosmetic repairs for my F250, I realized once I got on the road, right after picking up my truck, that the check engine light was on. I now have to bring the truck back to diagnose a potential problem that wasnt there when I dropped the truck off. While I realize the light may have come on during the maintenance process and just needs to be reset, one cannot help but wonder if the work performed was done well or not with such a basic oversight, and if there indeed is a problem that needs to be fixed, then all the more reason to be disappointed. When you bring your truck to the dealership and ask them to do whatever needs to be done to make sure your truck is in good shape, no matter the cost, and leave with the engine light on.....sorry......thats just not cool. You go to the dealership with an open wallet because you expect excellence and the utmost care. Super annoyed.I wish I could give a better review for Frankie, but ultimately I came in with my truck to get quality work done, and it certainly does not feel that way.....Update: One of the repairs done to the truck was fixing the rooftop lights which were leaking water when it rains hard. Water was getting into the cab a making the headliner wet. First rain since repair, and water is still getting into cab.....Took the truck to my usual mechanic, and the engine light on is the result of a failed exhaust sensor which will need to be replaced. This was not an issue when I brought the truck in originally (or I would have had it fixed), so needless to say, Im unhappy and feel the services performed on the truck were poorly done.

Would absolutely not do business with this dealership. They quoted me over 2000.00$ OVER their OWN net price on my actual quote, and gave me a trade under 3000.00$ what my car is worth. So this dealership wanted to take me to the cleaners for over 5000.00$! I have been a long time Ford guy……might have to change though because of my experience at this dealership. Buyer beware and do your homework!……especially if you have a decent trade in.

I spoke with Oscar concerning a vehicle that is listed on line to see if it was available. Oscar took the time to look up the Information with a follow up call. I was then informed that the GM had ordered the vehicle for his daughter however decided to purchase another vehicle. Oscar then informed me that the vehicle was available however I would have to pay an up charge of $10,000… never explaining why??? Only that he just wanted to inform me. No other dealership said that… we came here only for the color of vehicle we wanted. The price has been the same every other place we called except at this location. When I called back to verify the information with a sales manager or GM… Linda was rude at the front desk. She advised I could not speak to anyone because it was a busy day. She forward me to a voice mail that was full. When I called back she told me that if I was going to be difficult she was going to disconnect. I only wanted to speak with someone to verify why a price advertised was going to be increased by $10,000. She sent me to someone else who told me they were not the right person and so they sent me back to Linda. Is that her name??? She told me I could not be in touch with the GM but could email him and then sent me to Matt who is supposedly over the sales department? Voicemail. Is this how Maxwell wishes to be reviewed? It was simple! If Oscar could have explained, Linda had not been rude MULTIPLE times and if anyone had taken the time to listen and answer the simple question… Why advertise a price to only then say it will be $10,000 more?

The locks on my car failed. When I called Maxwell Ford, they were about to close for the evening. I explained to John S. what was going on and that I couldnt leave the car outside in my neighborhood without locks because I recently had property stolen and worried something would happen to my car too. John stayed after shop hours to get my car inside Maxwells service department bay.In the days following, John became my Service Advisor. He kept me up to date about diagnostics, estimate, ordering parts, and the ultimate completion of repairs. All the while, he was communicative, responsive, and kind.Along with great customer service, the price of repairs at Maxwell were very reasonable. Overall, I could not be happier with my experience there. Thank you so much.

Do not recommend shopping for used cars here. Had an appointment at 9:30 am to look at a car. I received a confirmation email reminder with no mention that the car was “sold” prior to my appointment. When I arrived at the dealership it was “sold”. Obvious BS to get you in the store. I will not do business like that.

The service associate, Heath, was awesome- super friendly and helped me feel like I was being taken care of. Service was also quick for a Friday-Would have given 5 stars but noticed they didn’t do a complimentary wash with their services- i just took my Acura in this last week and they vacuumed and washed the car. It’s a nice touch that I wish Ford would have done.

We bought a used vehicle from them and did not purchase the extended three-year warranty however three days later The check engine light came on and all of a sudden there was three sensors that needed to be replaced. I understand one sensor needing to be replaced but not three. They did not look over the vehicle before selling. I took it back after my mechanic told me it was a exhaust leak. They said any repairs that needed to be done I would have to pay full price. They said the best they could do was half off which was $560. On top of that it took them eight days to make the repairs and they did not offer a loaner even when I asked. This is the worst car buying experience I ever had. I would expect this from a mom and pop shop but not a certified Ford dealer. The car salesman Daniel and Manager Tyler are absolutely no help.*** manager has said to email him, he responded 2-3 weeks later. He Asked for my number I sent it. He never called. A local mechanic said the check engine light was from a catalytic converter and I also had to replace a front strut because it wasn’t “road safe” if manager ever calls me I won’t answer. They have been no help.

I went to Maxwell Ford to go take a look at a few trucks I saw online at a reasonable price. I spoke with Phillip Huron and he was able to be an extreme help. Phillip was patient, kind, and very attentive. After explaining to him what I was looking for it was like he knew exactly what I wanted on his first try. He showed me a truck that had just came in that week and the pictures were not yet uploaded online.Side Note - Online pictures of a vehicle could be a determining factor for a customer purchasing from home.I was their first customer to take a look at the truck and test drive it. Plus it was within my price range! It was exactly what I wanted. Phillip was also able to have a few scratches taken off at no charge. Thanks Phillip! Thanks Maxwell Ford!

Brought my 2016 f-150 in for service. My service advisor was Alberto Fernandez. He could not have been more helpful, informative and friendly. Ive been very frustrated with other Ford service departments in central Texas so Im happy Alberto and this service department has made up for that. They were also extremely fast, maybe a day and a half for 4 different items.

Been bringing my vehicle to service here for the last 6yrs. Excellent customer service hands down. Love working with my service advisor Jackie Wiora, definitely recommend working with her when it comes to your vehicles maintenance. My vehicle is running smooth after 100k miles. Specially after it’s 100k mile service, it feels like a brand new car. I work at Chevrolet and our service department isn’t on the same level compared to Maxwell Ford. Honestly the service I’ve been receiving from Maxwell Ford is why I haven’t moved on to a Chevy. Keep up the great work!

Got in contact with Serihy Vasylkov to purchase a vehicle, and was told Saturday evening the car was still available. I let him know that I would be driving from San Antonio and would be there at 9am. It took us about 1.5 hours to arrive, after rearranging our day, to make there to find it had sold on Saturday! We asked to speak to a sales manager to inform him of this poor practice, and were left waiting. Front desk receptionist let him know of our situation, however not important enough... Awful place

I’m not someone who often leaves reviews but as a woman, I hate taking my car into the shop. I always feel undermined and taken advantage of. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve had. When they called to tell me what the techs discovered wrong in my car they used a technical three word description. Something I couldn’t understand. When I asked for more information or even how to spell it they said they’d email me. They rushed me off the phone with no further explanation of what the problem was, how serious it was or any recommendations. The email had no further description either and the amount of cost was twice as much as mentioned on the phone. When I first dropped my car off there was no mention of a $100 diagnostic fee (per each diagnosis) so I was shocked to receive a bill for two separate diagnoses. One of which, I didn’t necessarily care to get checked out, or would have looked into it further on my own if I’d know they’d charge me an additional $100. I did not appreciate the lack of communication and rushed approach and I won’t be returning to this shop.

I had taken the day off work to get a state inspection, after going to 6 other places I went to Maxwell Ford and was in and out with my inspection complete within a half hour. I like the automatic doors that open up and allow you to drive into the service department. They are prompt to greet you when you drive in, but getting someone to talk to you when you walk in was very challenging as employees at their desks avoid eye contact until I finally interrupted someone. The work was done quickly and on time, and the service coordinator did a good job communicating updates via phone calls. I did try and utilize the text system, but I did not receive a response to any of my messages so I’m guessing that it doesn’t work.

Whenever I need any service done on my vehicles or if something goes wrong. I always reach out to John Sullivan in the service department. He is amazing, very informative, communicates very well, and very personable. When working with John I am not just a number or a customer to push in and out of the bay, but I feel like family. If my car will be at the shop for a day or longer he will keep me notified every step of the way. I greatly appreciate John for all his hard work on the front end and for helping me out with all my service needs.

Just had my car serviced at Maxwell Ford. I’m very pleased with how thorough and professional they were. The service rep was very precise when he reviewed the details of the maintenance. His name is Rocky & I will stay with him for all future work. I recommend him to anyone who wants a personal, trustworthy experience. One last compliment is that Maxwell’s has a huge, comfortable waiting area, with several large screen TVs. The wait did not seem long because I was quite comfortable in their clean and spacious customer lounge.

Beware, classic bait and switch. They advertise incorrect pricing (and pictures) online to get you to the dealership. Once you’re there they tell you the price is $4,000 higher because they send the vehicles out to a third party to upgrade the seats to leather trying to sell you on the fact it’s still cheaper than buying the trim package that includes leather directly from Ford. The leather does not cost $4000 so this is just a sneaky unprofessional way to hide profit.

My husband purchased his first truck from this dealership 2 weeks ago. After 2 weeks, we had to have the vehicle towed to LaGrange Ford due to a dead battery. When we called dealership to speak with salesman Trey, we got no help. I called and spoke with service team who placed me on hold for 20 minutes just to tell me if we even attempted to jump start the vehicle. No one cared that this was the first time we have ever dealt with this. No one cared enough to even apologize. LaGrange Ford took good care of us and took care of fixing the issue. That is who we normally purchase all of our Ford vehicles with but they did not have this truck in stock. Now we know better. Customer service goes a long way even after you make the initial sale Mr. Trey.

Absolutely terrible customer service. FERNANDO DURAN had such a nasty attitude today. We wanted to look at the explorer again and we were nothing but nice. We talked to him for about 25 minutes and he wanted to add 500 to our total because we didn’t buy last night. He also did not want to give us the military rebate (my husband is active duty). He said management that was there today was harsh and wouldn’t budge on our trade in…which was FINE! We were going to buy the explorer. We just wanted the military rebate honored- as it should be. That is what is so upsetting. We just wanted to get the 500 according to FORD policy! It was the most unpatriotic thing we’ve ever experienced. I seriously don’t know what we did to upset him so much. It was like he hated us. We did not threaten anything or give him a hard time. We were shocked that he was so nasty. We understand that sometimes you have bad days but if it’s THAT bad then go home. My husband buys vehicles all of the time and he’s had 5 fords, this was going to be his 6th. I have never seen him so insulted before and I know he will not buy another Ford again. If you want GREAT customer service and a great vehicle- go to the maxwelll jeep and ask for Russell.

I went in and was “helped” by Troy Malovey. He was nice at first and after hours of jumping through hoops he informed me that I was approved for the price we had previously agreed on. He congratulated me and had me buy insurance on the car before I leave. After telling me congrats multiple times and telling me I was already approved on the car he decided more money was needed to put down in order to qualify. Wasted 6 HOURS I could have been spending enjoying my day. Instead I left $200 dollars less than I had because of the insurance, and without a car, due to the corrupt lying of Maxwell Ford and Troy Malovey. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!!!!

I use Maxwell Ford anytime I have an issue with my car. I would give 5 stars, but it took a couple of weeks to get the part in. Which was a bummer. I know it is not the guys fault at Ford. They are always super nice and easy to deal with. No complaints here. Thanks guys!

Had scheduled to go test drive a vehicle they still had available. They called me as we were on our way to the dealership to confirm my appointment with them. Got there and they apparently had already had someone put down a deposit on the vehicle before they had called me to confirm my appointment. This should’ve been communicated before we drove 40 minutes to look at the vehicle and my appointment should have been honored since the other person didn’t make a move the day they test drove it which was Saturday.

Being a pre-qualified customer with four different lenders, I received horrible service at Maxwell Ford this morning. To me, the sales rep did not do enough to keep me as a customer. I shared with the sales rep that I did all the work for you all. I was willing to purchase a vehicle from them this morning before 10 am, and I had my down payment in my purse. If a customer was willing to purchase a car at that moment; you would do whatever you need to do to make that customer happy. Now, Ive contacted two dealerships in the area, and they are fighting for my business. Maxwell Ford FAILED!

Another dealer advertising cars at a price that simply doesnt exist. Severe bait/switch when I call and arrive in person after making it very clear I was only interested in one of two Ford Ecosport Maxwell has listed. Price immediately jumps from advertised.....not a little but almost 25% with tint, alarm all of the sudden added. Why cant you dealerships be up front!!My cash and business will go down the road!Blake Engels, salesperson, even had the audacity to ask is I wanted to put $5000 to $10,000 down?Beware!!! Two stars because at least they had the vehicle. Another dealer did this and never even appeared to have the car...

I have to honestly say that my experience with Mayra at Maxwell Ford was more than great. First off, I went to there in February and had credit related questions because I was in the process of rebuilding my credit. Mayra had all the answers for me and when it was time to turn in my lease this month(May), she was still willing to go above and beyond to help me. She didn’t make me feel discouraged about having fair credit and didn’t just put me to the side, instead she went over all my options and we were able to make a deal on my new 2021 Ford Escape and I love it. If anyone wants a great salesperson in the Austin area, Mayra is that person, whether it’s a new or used car, she’s the person you need to see. I think it’s safe to say, when it’s time for my fiancé to get a new vehicle, Mayra will be our salesperson again. Thank you Mayra and Maxwell Ford for helping me get my new vehicle.

I went in for an oil change and tire rotation this morning. The tech that was supposed to strap my truck in(custom lifted excursion with marshmallow tires) did it wrong so when they lifted my truck up it fell. All damages ARE being taken care of at no cost to me. I LOVE Ford and have always taken my and my husbands trucks there. The service is ALWAYS perfect......EXCEPT for today. It was a blip in the matrix and I will update my review once my truck is fixed.

Booked an Appointment on Tuesday for Saturday to get the window motor fixed on my car. I show up and the guy asks if I made an appointment. I say yup and show him the window with the bad motor.Guy asks me if I have transportation to get home or if Ill wait. i said wait since its just a window motor. Guy tells me it wont get fixed until Tuesday or Wednesday because they only do oil changes on Saturday and the people who book appointments are off site and dont know that. I tell him I work during the week which is why I booked the appointment for Saturday. Guy doesnt really care and is just trying to get me to leave at this point so I do.Then I go google search Window motor repair and Safelite will just come to your place and fix it because its a simple window motor repair that takes 3 hours. Basically wasted an hour driving there and then back home for nothing because they use Off site people for appointments

First timer. Of course I did it wrong and got out of the car🤦🏽‍♀️ In my defense In Illinois we had to het out. Anyways thank God for him understanding I was new, since I gave myself away immediately. The set up it good. Waiting room is enormous which allowed for social distancing. Apart from His customer service, which was great, the text I got about my car inspection and recommended services I need I loved.Quick and easy. Definitely coming back. I had a significant wait time for my Bronco Sport but Eddie stayed in touch providing regular updates along the way. Its a beautiful car, the process was easy and my Bronco is everything I wanted!
