I recently purchased a used car from this facility. Ade greeted us promptly and professionally. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and laid-back. His accent is charming and his humor is enjoyable. I wish that buying a car was always as pleasant an experience as Ade made for us. I would recommend him to anyone.

First, car was great, working, clean, no issues there. Got to schedule a test drive and see the car easily- no issues there.Buying the car is a WHOLE DIFFERENT STORY. I thought my car salesman was the issue at first but after having to come in I realized it was not him and it is the hertz policies and finance department.If you plan on paying cash for a vehicle expect it to be 100% difficult. They only let you put 3,000$ down total on a debit credit card and then expect the rest in money orders (completely crazy).Their website also says they deliver within 75 miles and when I asked for delivery they said they could only do 50 Miles and then they said they could only deliver 2 weeks after I purchased. So basically they don’t do delivery.With all being all being said they stayed an hour late to get my car but still a process that should take an hour took about 5 because of the roadblock polices in place.All in all if you want a car here (great cars great prices) expect it to be a ton of work.

Run, do not walk away this dealer ship. They are very crooked, esp. Victor the sales manger. He slipped in a $2000.00 60 month warranty, he knew my daughter was a first time car buyer. Ahmed the sales person was alright. I will never forgive Victor for taking advantage of her. We will never buy another car from Hertz. It was so unprofessional. Hertz Car Sales is becoming a third rate sleazy used car lot.

We had an excellent experience at Hertz! Our service rep was Tony, and he was awesome! My sister and I had planned to come and pick up my car on Valentines Day. Shortly after arriving, we realized we planned it poorly, and we needed to come back a different day. Tony was very understanding and accommodating. We came back the next day to get the car. Tony was very fast and efficient with paperwork and setting up the car! We were out of there in under an hour, and the car was in great condition! (Doris is also very nice and deserves 5 stars!!) Tony was a wonderful salesman, wed go back just to do business with him again. On top of his consistently professional, patient, and punctual service, the price was very fair and upfront. No surprise or inflated fees was a breath of fresh air considering several other dealerships in the area think this is standard practice. Best car buying experience ever

Initially the service was great, everyone was punctual and accommodating. Then we bought our car... it has been six months and we can’t get anyone to call us or email us back. We paid for an extra key and still have yet to receive it. They are all great until they get their money, and the customer is no longer of priority.

Bought my first car here and the price was great. The service, however, took over 2 hours to get my papers printed for me to sign them. I also have not received any plates or my sticker even though I contacted the dealer twice. Still have not received those things almost a year later.

TL;DR Version:Unwilling to listen to questions being asked, Unwilling to break from strict selling process unwilling to put customers first.Very much a my-way-or-the-highway mentality.I recommend doing your homework.Long Version:Due to misinterpreted information, the finance process took 2-3 hours when it should have been 15 minutes. (Candidates have extremely high credit).The car search took an hour and the cleaning took 2 hours.There appears to be a disconnect between sales and finance. We were asking specific questions about the financial process and wanted to know the exact amount of the car / walk out price to finalize our loan. We had to ask several different times for the final walk out price. The first two times we are given a price with a bumper to bumper warranty which added roughly $4,000. We did not ask for that, nor was it explained how it could have been added on without our approval.After selecting this dealership for its no haggle price, really took us off guard especially since not a single person mentioned warranty prior, nor even explained how it could benefit us. It made the process extremely long and painful. If it wasnt for us really wanting the car, we would have walked away when price changed so dramatically.

Kudos to the manager and staff for their exceptional, friendly, profession customer service. The manager exceded all our expect ions in our search and purchase of a certified car for our grand-daughter.

A very relaxed and informal buying experience. Definitely a good option for anyone on a budget. The only issue I had was the fuel tank was just about empty when I test drove the vehicle. Salesman Tony was able to get it filled halfway for me but come on at least fill it up all the way since Im buying a car from you! However Tony was a pleasure to work with, offered post purchase inquiry help and even followed up with me after the purchase. I recommend buying from here. Not an employee btw.

I went to just looks at cars, just to get an idea and test drive some cars, The sales associate that helped me was Ahmed, a wonderful man, didn’t push me or force me into anything, he showed me around and we went on a drive in a black 2017 Toyota which I really loved, but I wasn’t ready to make the purchase yet because I just came to look. But I got his business card so hopefully by the time I’m ready to make the purchase he is able to help me again.

I came in knowing exactly which car I wanted to see/drive, so cant speak for someone whos just browsing. But, Allan was able to fit me in on super short notice to see/drive a car that was in pretty high demand. He explained every step of the process as he was doing it, answered all of my questions thoroughly, tried to get through the process as fast as possible, and was flexible with timing (my test drive ended up being longer than planned because my mechanic was a bit backed up). I was told i would get my plates mailed to me and I never received them or my registration sticker. They also told me they would hold them if they received the plates but I never got any word of that. I called a few times and got different info each time and still no license plates or sticker. Now I have to drive around to what ever DMV place it might be, waste my own time and money on any fees associated with replacing these things when it should have been done as part of the buying process and went smoothly. The only other time I’ve purchased a car, that dealership got the plates after a month and all I had to do was go pick them up. Why can’t it be that simple for hertz?

The sales people in this location are really unprofessional. I was told that there would be a second key and would be sent to me. Now it has been three months and every time I call/text they provide conflicting answers. I have been dealing with Tony, who seems have stopped caring. The difference in behavior before and after buying the car is astonishing. At least have courtesy to follow up the customers calls.****EDITFor me, this is exactly what I had hoped for in the first place and I appreciate Hertz customer service stepping up to resolve. I finally received the key.The reason its still 4 stars and not 5 is because of the work and time on my end to get this acknowledged and the fact that I had to make too much effort for something so simple. While both associates who helped me were friendly, I have updated my review, because since the purchase of my car, they lost my contract, and I was made aware of them adding a $2,500 warranty on top of what I agreed to. I have purchased with Hertz in Dallas and never experienced shady business practices like I did in Austin, so for a fair price, I suggest a different location.

Overall I would rate this customer service as poor. The agent I dealt with, Ahmed, was very good on calling me and answering my questions (which I do appreciate), but I understand that he had to follow his managers instructions. When I was approved for financing he refused to tell me or email the terms (APR and monthly payment), and when I came and after waiting for a while had a chance to sit and talk, it turned out that the terms are much worse than Hertz website calculator estimated. Quite disappointed. Applied for the same vehicle at Carvana, and have a delivery scheduled in three days.

Bad experience. Went in to test drive and buy a car. Loved the car I test drove and we spent time looking up all the details of the car and started filling out the application. Then after 2-3hours of the process of buying a car, a random salesman walks by and yells that the car I test drove and started filling the application for was SOLD two days ago. I called twice before I drove down to make sure the car was available and they said it is available and ready for test drive. The manager was involved in the car buying process when I was at the dealership and he had no clue the car was SOLD. After all this the sales person was atleast decent enough to apologise for the pain, the manager did not bother to drop by and resolve the issue or make things right. I voluntarily walked into his office to tell him how bad the experience was and he threw a standard excuse-we could have done things better and went back to his computer. I have a serious problem with that attitude, how can you solve an issue if you dont even care about it. I want to formally launch a complaint into this and will be doing so shortly

Bought 2 vehicles from Hertz in the past year. First was bought from dealer in Killeen and had a fantastic experience. John is a great sales rep and made buying a car amazing.The Austin location, however, has been an awful experience. Came in knowing exactly the car we wanted, but sat for over 3 hours while they prepared “paperwork”. We already had the financing from our credit union, but they wanted to get credit for the financing and ran everything again. Next, this location keeps the second key to their vehicles in Oklahoma. After having the car for over a month, I had to call twice a week for them to get me the second key. They never called to update or to let me know what was happening on their end. To this date my sales rep, Doris, has never called to see how we are enjoying the car or to update us on anything.Fast forward 5 weeks or so after purchase. I get a call asking me to bring the car back to the dealership (45 min away), so they can redo the inspection for registration. Hmmm...car hasn’t been registered yet? I drove down for the inspection, and they did fill the tank for my trouble which was nice.Now today, I called because my temp tags have expired (because the car wasn’t registered), and I was told they could not email me a new tag. I was told you go to the local tax office and purchase an extension, and they would reimburse me.Waited over 2 hours in the tax office and paid $30 for a temp tag extension. I emailed the receipt to the finance guy at the Hertz Austin location and he proceeded to send me a new temp tag by email (this is what I asked for in the first place). I did not need to go wait at the tax office and pay out of pocket, they had me (the customer) spend my day doing their job in waiting and paying for the tags. Unacceptable.If you are in the Austin area, take the extra drive out to the Hertz Car Sales in Killeen and ask for John. The extra drive will be worth it.

Came in preapproved with my credit union, ready to buy and allowed Robert to try to beat my approved apr. Called 5 times asking for numbers, he said he didnt have them hed call back. I never heard back from anyone. Worst shopping experience in my whole life. Highly recommend you find somewhere else to buy a car.

If I could give them less stars, I would. I bought a car from these people and while signing paperwork, the man going over the paperwork could not handle a woman asking questions and making sure that everything was covered. This man looked at my husband and said, “You are my customer right now, not her”. My husband being the nice person he is, just goes with the flow and doesn’t want to cause waves, a trait the sales manager seems to like to prey on. I on the other hand have no problem ensuring we get everything promised to us and that things are discussed prior to signatures on a paper. The spare key is where te whole issue started. We asked prior to signing anything if there was a second set of ke, just so we knew, not to make them produce a second set, just for knowledge of what things we would have to do for the car after purchase, including tinting the windows, we live in Texas, windows HAVE to be tinted! We were given the run around multiple times about only one person being able to to verify if the second set of keys were available or not. I told them we would not be able to sign anything until I knew if there was a second set or not. I was hoping that this would lite a fire under their butts to diligently look for the key vs. oh we can’t find them, these customers don’t even care if there are two sets or not so I don’t have to look. Once we got clarification that they did not have a second set, the manager tried to tell us that the price is adjusted based on that knowledge. My thinking was that if that was the case, you should have been able to look at the pricing to tell me it la been adjusted a long time ago vs. giving me the run around about corporate office might have them. In the end I love the car however, the man that disrespected me because he couldn’t handle an assertive woman needs to be fired. How dare he speak to me in a manner that was disrespectful, and in front of my 3 boys as well. Now they have heard a man disrespect a woman, their mother no less. Disclaimer: the car left the lot needing a detail, gas, breaks and new tires and a second key. Overall disappointment is an understatement. NEVER GO HERE TO BUY A CAR, THEY DONT RESPECT WOMEN AND YOUR CAR PURCHASE WILL BE INCOMPLETE.

Terrible staff which was Rude and argued with meBought a car which was dirty in the inside still had documents and receipts from previous ownerThe car needed Gas a detail floor mats and new tires as well as having problems with the transmission.SEVERAL MONTHS LATER have not gotten spare keys from after I was assured by a salesmen it would come within 3-4 daysCalled and called they said the same thing until they finally said to come in and they’ll make a key for me at a key SmithJust called again to explain I’m in the military and an not on their schedule I can’t just come in whenever they wantAlso have not received plates and the temp are now expired from when I bought the car months agoThey offered no help and told me to go to the DMV they couldn’t do anything, they alway say they’ll call back or email back with information but nothing after the call that’s where it ends and I hear nothing. I now have to go to their job to re register get new tags and track down my plates because they are too incompetent to do that and argue on the phone with me after I told them this is a terrible buying experience, I have to go pay out of pocket and waste my time.Also it took over 7 HOURS to buy this car after hours of waiting for “paperwork”Terrible buying experience for my first car will never recommend this place to anyone!!
