I must say that I despise car shopping due to the amount of running around and back and forth you get from most dealerships, HOWEVER, VANNA GARZA (Used Car Sales) went above and beyond to make me feel like a valued customer. I live about 85 miles from the dealership and preferred to complete this transaction via email, text, and phone. Vanna kept me informed during every step of the process, took tons of photos for me, and answered all of my ridiculous questions. I was expecting to have to rearrange my schedule to make the commute to the lot to pick up my vehicle but would not have been able to do that for a couple of days. I bought the car on Thursday and was expecting to drive to pick it up on Saturday but Vanna offered to drive the vehicle to me and drive my trade back so that I wouldnt have to worry about scheduling issues. This was incredibly generous of her and I greatly appreciate it.Overall, I highly recommend Vanna Garza with Sterling Acura of Austins Used Car Sales. If you have the opportunity to work with her you will not be dissatisfied.

I went into sterling Acura to see how much it would cost to get my VTC Actuator replaced on my 2012 Acura TSX and well for the price I was curious to see what new cars they had in inventory. The repair man got me into contact with a sales person and man if it wasnt for Ed (full name is Edward Rivas), I probably wouldnt have purchased a new car that day. Ed was truly a great person to talk to and he did a great job laying out the benefits of getting a new car vs repairing my old one. He even went the extra mile and got the exact car I wanted from another dealership in San Antonio! Hes definitely the reason I will recommend Sterling Acura over other dealerships in the future! As a sales manager myself I see Ed as a great asset to his dealership and I hope his management team notices it too!

Bait and SwitchI have been going to Sterling Acura for 3 years now to service my 2017 MDX, the service department is exceptional, professional, trustworthy and caring.So naturally, when I decided to purchase a new MDX Sterling was my dealership of choice. What a mistake! I am fully aware of the chip shortage and challenge of getting new cars to the lot, but the level of unprofessionalism, lack of follow up and flat out lies were insurmountable. After 3 months of empty promises and unanswered calls, I decided to purchase a vehicle elsewhere.I also had a Toyota Camry I was looking to sell and had a great experience with Joe who was very accommodating and transparent during the early phase of assessing my trade in value. I appreciated his style and as a result wanted to sell my car there despite not being able to get the vehicle I wanted from them. Everything was confirmed post a final inspection of the vehicle at my home, appt set and ride scheduled to bring me back. I get there title in hand, Joe per usual is ready and walks me through the paperwork seamlessly. He leaves to get the check for the trade and I am greeted by a manager who claims he needs to verify the value of the vehicle (this was already done) and asks why I am not selling it at the dealership where I am buying from: 1. None of your business 2. Not convenient for me since Im purchasing out of town and 3. I liked Joe and felt good about it.Anyway, he presses to ask more about my new car purchase then takes the keys to inspect the car only to come back 5 minutes later and tell me they cant do the deal...petty!At this point I have wasted a full 45 minutes of my day, when I had planned to be in and out during my lunch hour. Fortunately, CarMax was across the street.I took my keys went to Carmax who paid me THE SAME AMOUNT that Sterling had quoted (actually $100 more) and I was in and out in 30 minutes.All this to say, just be careful with new car purchase and trades at Sterling. No one is following up and their promises are not kept to either find you a car or purchase yours. Save yourself the headache if you actually need a vehicle before the end of the year!

Yesterday I went into Acura not expecting to leave with a car. I had just left the Lexus of Austin dealership with a bad taste in my mouth. From the moment I walked into Acura I was already having a better experience. I was helped by Curtis. I loved that he asked me specific questions about what I loved about my old car, and what I was looking for in the new one. I wasnt shy about letting him know what I wanted lol, and he got right to work. I ended up with the 2021 Acura TLX and I couldnt be happier. Curtis really worked hard (without pressuring me) to get me the BEST deal for my budget. He even walked fast and hustled out the room each time wasting no time (sometimes you can be at the dealership allll day). He also went above and beyond to detail my car since the detailer had left early. I was SO pleased with his service along with the other staff members. The place was also super clean and pretty cozy for a car dealership. I am so happy I did not go with a Lexus and happy to be able to bring my car back to Sterling Acura for services :) Thanks Curtis and staff!

I have to say that overall I am satisfied with my visit to the Sterling Acura of Austin. I was greeted upon by entrance, and was attended to swiftly by Curtis. Having Curtis assist with my vehicle purchase put me at ease as he was attentive and informative. There wasn’t any uncomfortable pressure felt here in comparison to other sales people I have worked with. The purchase flow was straightforward and simple. Another thing to note is the overall cleanliness of the facility as well! Would definitely return here for a future car purchase, and would definitely recommend Sterling Acura of Austin to family/friends.

After being contacted from my True Car estimate from Joe Pieczonka and the appraisal team I was able to schedule a time to verify my trade in. Not only did they agree to what was offered the process was completed quickly. I had sent in a stock number for a car I was interested in. Joe introduced me to Vanessa (Vanna) Garza who was able to help me look at the new car. Vanna knew everything there was to know about the 2020 RDX. She showed me every feature on the car and was able to explain how it all worked. She offered to go with on a test drive. She had a great personality and was able to make the test drive process fun. After returning and meeting with Joe and getting my estimate, I felt confident the RDX was the car for me. Vanna listened to my needs and was able to make sure this was the right car for me. Lester Brown brought in my estimate and numbers for my new car. Lester also listened to my needs and explained the benefits of the trade and how it would all work. He eliminated all of my fears and doubts. He made me feel like I had made the best choice. James Buck had my paperwork together within an hour all while my new car was being prepped. Now that it has been a couple days, I am totally satisfied not only with the car, additional services and warranty but the service I have received. This was the best new car buying experience I have had in 17 years, which ironically was an Acura in 2004. It must be something in the Acura culture. I will never buy any other make of car as long as I am driving. I highly recommend you speak with Vanna if you have questions on any make that Sterling Acura has on their lot.

My review is actually on Sales manager, Lester Brown. I would actually give Lester 5 stars and the dealership 2-3. My wife and I had problems with Sterling when we first leased our car here almost three years ago. Suffice it to say, our initial buying experience was a 2 star experience.We contacted Acura when it came time to return the car and Lester was a breath of fresh air (no COVID pun intended). Lester was friendly, honest (a rarity in car salesmen) understanding, and was not pushy about trying to sell us a new car.He was very responsive and he made the return quick and easy.I would definitely contact him if I was in the market for an Acura.Hopefully, in the future, when the pandemic is over and I am in the need of a new truck ( my vehicle of choice), he becomes a Ram salesman.

Did not have a good experience here.Came here to have the vehicle inspected and they failed at that. They couldn’t spot the busted tail light amongst other things.The vehicle seems to be in a worse condition than when I left it there!I’m never returning!Take your business elsewhere.

Where do I begin? Ive been a Sterling Acura customer since 2012. Montye was amazing! Montye is the best sales representative I have ever dealt with. Hes very charismatic, knowledgeable, and truly cares. My husband and I loved our 2016 TLX; however, once we saw the A-Spec online we fell in love. I walked into the dealership with intentions of just looking at the car...and within a few hours I walked out of their dealership with a brand new BEAUTIFUL 2018 Acura TLX A-Spec w/ Tech Package in Bellanova White and red leather interior. The process was very smooth and efficient. As a repeat customer, I am continuously​ blown away by their exceptional ​customer service from their sales and service department. I am a Sterling Acura customer for life! :)Note: Their showroom is under renovation. I have been to the dealership prior to construction and can attest that the current set-up is not ideal but they make the best out of it. Im looking forward to seeing the renovated areas.

Had such an amazing experience here! Lester Brown and Cal helped me with the purchase of my car and were so kind and helpful throughout the entire process. Everyone who works here is so professional and welcoming. Made me feel so comfortable and just went above and beyond. They want you to be fixated on one car not explore options within acura.Anything you say they come back with its a 60 grand car .They show the slightest interest in selling the car, they undermine the customers thinking that we have no possibility of buying their cars. After much searching I found the Ford Explorer I had been looking for at Sterling Acura. I went to take a test drive. I was greeted promptly by the receptionist and my salesman Rory was there within minutes to get me on the road for a test drive. He was very polite and personable. He didn’t pressure me into filling out a credit application that day. Which was appreciated. The next day after my other financing option didn’t quite work for me. I filled out an application and they got me in my car. Everything from the delicious coffee to the finance manager was a wonderful experience. James the finance manager even guided me some about my credit and how refinancing in the future might be beneficial. I felt like a person not just a sale. After driving off in my car yesterday evening, I kept thinking what a pleasurable car buying experience it was. The customer service at Sterling Acura far exceeded my expectations. CAVEAT EMPTOR!! I had the worst buying experience ever at this dealership. The salesman and manager that I dealt with were dishonest, deceitful and unscrupulous. I must say that after the damage had already been done, the GM did his best to make things right, but in the end I still got screwed. If I knew what I know now, I would never have dealt with them and I certainly will never deal with them again.**If you do choose to do business with them, be sure to read EVERYTHING before you sign because you may find the terms that you discussed and agreed upon have been changed without your knowledge.

I had an absolutely fabulous car buying experience that can only be attributed to the wonderful people working at Sterling.I worked with Ashley and her sales manager John. My car finally gave out on me after 10+ years of driving (unexpected of course). I often work from 9am-9pm and was unable to spend a lot of time and energy shopping around for a car. Sterling went above and beyond doing all the work for me.I let them know what vehicle I was interested in, they processed my information and got back to me in the same day. Not only were they able to match the best rate I found at a competitors dealership -- they went one step further and beat that rate! They had my vehicle ready to go by the time I arrived. Just bought a 2020 RDX today. And it was the BEST car buying experience Ive ever had. Lester the sales manager was fantastic and worked within my budget and gave me a great deal. Kurt my sales guy was amazing and respectful of my time and didnt try to sell me into something I didnt want. It was also the MOST efficient buying process! I was in and out in two hours. As a woman coming in by herself to have her car inspected for some issues, I never felt like I was being taken advantage of. Just got an Acura RDX here a few days ago. It was a wonderful, and even relaxing, buying experience. Phillip was our kind of salesman; not pushy at all, friendly, and he has a calm presence. He didnt drag out the bargaining process...it was actually very efficiently handled. We were also very impressed with James in finance. Both of these guys were so down to earth and pleasant to work with. We got our temperatures taken the morning of our appointment, as well as late afternoon when we came back with our trade in. Big bottles of hand sanitizer were easy to access. We even took our test drive alone. We all wore our masks the whole time. All in all, we felt it was as safe a transaction as it could be in a pandemic. I definitely recommend this dealership to anyone shopping for an Acura, and I look forward to using them for all of my servicing, even though they are about 50 minutes from home. And I love my new RDX!

I absolutely refuse to go any place else! Mark in the service center takes EXCEPTIONAL care of us (myself and my daughter) and makes us feel right at home! The newly renovated show room is beautiful and the sales staff treats us like family every time! My daughter looks forward to our visits and loves the play area, which makes oil changes on my Saturday a lot more enjoyable. Ran into the first dealers that made me feel comfortable spending that amount on a vehicle, and that Id have fun driving it. That was a few years ago and the car is great. Took my car in for an issue with the transmission. Not only did they fix that issue but found an issue with the battery and fixed that too. They provided me with a loaner. The repairs were done pretty quick. The staff are always pleasant and easy to work with. It is a pleasure to go to the service dept. I didnt think I would ever say that about a dealership, not ever.

When we were negotiating the salesperson was reasonable. The only downside was that the transaction took a longer time than necessary considering the amount of traffic they had that day. I had a great experience working with Rory and Lester. I never felt rushed or pressured, and they both went out of their way to make sure I was informed about, and happy with my new car. The day I came in the dealership happened to be very busy and I was there several hours after close of business to finalize the paperwork, but they still made sure to pull my new car into the showroom, clap and cheer for me, and show me all of the car features so I could get all of the settings personalized right away. The whole customer service group down to the finance person was such a great stress free experience. I drove out to Austin from San Antonio for that very reason. Once I spoke to someone on the phone and compared my service from Gunn Acura in San Antonio and Sterling Acura, I knew I was going to get better service in Austin and that’s exactly what happened. Only buy an Acura at this location then you will be treated like Royalty. I bought a non Acura vehicle at this location and feel like I’m treated like second class citizen. Noted Car washes are included with the purchase of any vehicle here. If I go in for a car wash during my lunch break it took over an hour to get my car back. They didn’t even try to call or find me. I had to go back to the service center to ask about my car status. So who knows how long it was was completed. Also I have tried to go after work. I get out at 5pm. I can show up at 5:15 or 5:30pm they would state they are closed. But the service sign says it closes at 6pm. Overall, it’s ok service not what I thought it would be by purchasing a car from a luxury vehicle location.Now you will need to take everything with a grain of salt because my last vehicle was a Honda Civic. And a I bought my car from them. Therefore, I do not know if was treated any better because I bought my vehicle from them.

I started communicating with her through email and was able to make a deal before I ever arrived at Sterling. When I arrived she had everything ready for me to test drive the vehicle. I came from out of town due to the great deal I received from Sterling and service I received from Tabatha.I usually hate dealing with dealerships but Sterling is nothing like any other dealership I have dealt with before. The entire experience was easy and without any pressure like most dealerships. The entire team at Sterling is great. Each person I interacted with was extremely polite and did not treat me like I was just another sale. When it is time for another new car I will be going back to Sterling

Excellent service from start to finish. My salesman was accommodating and knowledgeable and followed up several times after the sale to make sure we had everything we needed. I bought a used car from them and 2 weeks after the sale had some minor maintenance issues arise. They were EXTREMELY helpful! There was no warranty on the car, yet they still helped fix the issues for free- loaner included. They will certainly earn my business again, it is a business that treats you like family and I would (and will) recommend them to anyone.

Guys, you have got to get your next car here. I buy cars every 2 years and this is the first time I can say this was an absolute pleasant experience. Sean and the dealership made the process so simple, quick and just are a joy to work with. Such honest and great people. I will never ever go anywhere else and neither should you. We started our search for a car, letting Curtis, our salesperson, know right away we were not ready to buy. He was amazing! Rather than dismissing us or doing the minimum, he spent so much time with us and showed us everything we could want to see. His knowledge of the vehicles was impressive. He was polite, professional, and not remotely pressuring. While I ended up getting something completely different, the choice was harder than I thought specifically because we kept coming back to the argument that the lifetime service Acura offers (free washes, free airport shuttle service?!) could not be beat. When we are in the market again, I will be returning there.

After having to move to Houston I have tried to find a dealership that would compare and I have struck out every time! I now drive 3+ hours just to go to Sterling. Unfortunately we got gas with water (at a local gas station) the morning after a heavy rain, but Acura Roadside Service picked my car up promptly and Sterling Acura acted quickly to figure out what was wrong with our car and repair. Our Service Advisor, Mark, was responsive, informative and friendly and our car was ready for pick up the same day. I always have the best, most customer friendly experience with Sterling Acura.

Amazing service!!! I am typically not very trusting when getting my vehicle serviced but this was not the case with Sterling Acura. They were prompt and kept in touch with status and cost. This was my first experience getting my vehicle serviced here and I was very pleased that I didn’t have to chase them down with answers. I recently visited Sterling Acura due to a recall on my front driver airbag in my 2012 Acura. My vehicle wasnt purchased through them, but they treated me as if I was a top notch client. Stellar service, impeccable showroom and thoughtful waiting room amenities. Awesome staff, service was fast and took care of all my concerns, including a system upgrade that was out of warranty. Shout out to Jonathan Caldwell for being super attentive!!!The waiting area is very nice, i was able to do work while waiting for my car. Great job!!Update: went back for due service and these guys just keep on rocking and improving!!! The place is now better for hanging out and the staff was amazing. Honest and did not try to upsell me anything I didn’t want. Glad to keep taking my cars here!!!!
