Purchased a new 2021 Sierra AT4 from this dealership, courteous staff, process wasnt as bad as the last new car I got so thats a plus.

I wrote one review BE AWARE!!! Scammers and cons. I brought my f-350 in for PM and recalls I left with my truck only operating at 50 mph and a bed full of parts. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE FOR ANYTHING.

I took my 2008 F150 in for a check engine light diagnostic with a P0016 error code. The service rep texted me that they found the issue and it would cost around $400 to fix. I approved the repairs. Later that day, I was told that the repairs were made and that my truck was ready to pick up. I asked for them to confirm that the check engine light was now off and that it would pass inspection.I was then told that yes, the check engine light was off on my 2017 F150. I said 2017? I have a 2008 F150. They then asked what my name was and confirmed that the 2008 F150 had my name on it. They said that they would have get with their technician to see what the status was.A little while later they told me that the repairs on my truck would cost $12,000 and that it had a P0022 error code. I did not approve the repairs and told them I would come pick it up.When I got to the dealership to pick up my truck, they asked me for my phone number to look up my account. My account came up under a different name and truck.They eventually found my truck, but did not provide me with any information regarding the diagnosis or what need to be repaired. So, I basically waisted $170, because I am not able to trust that it was actually my truck that they diagnosed or that their estimate for repairs was accurate.I took my truck to another mechanic and was told that the repairs would be around $4,000 on the high side.I am still looking at other mechanics to see if I get a better price though.

Online inventory did not match what was available across locations. Sales staff was kind and welcoming. I was shown a car that did not meet our needs.

If youre going to purchase a vehicle here PLEASE, PLEASE, do yourself a favor and DO NOT PURCHASE the SERVICE GROUP PROTECTION PLAN nor the COVERT ADVANTAGE. It is a total scam.I paid $2299 (plus interest) for them to tell me it didnt cover the replacement of ONE Road Hazard tire, which is included in the plan, but because the tire is worn out they wont cover it.I am telling you do yourself a favor, save your money! I am mad at myself, I could have changed my all tires twice and still have money left to go on vacation. Very dishonest & frustrating.

Jackie Oliver did a great job selling me my truck yesterday. Even though she had multiple customers to take care of, Jackie was attentive and listened to everything my needy self had to say! Very personable and friendly and I truly appreciate the business! The sales manager, finance team and service manager were also over the top friendly. I’ve only bought two new cars at different dealerships before this one, but I can honestly say I look forward to coming back and buying another one when it’s time. Great job guys.

One star is too much!!!Horrible. Pretty much a bait and switch just using financing instead of vehicles. We wanted to get as much of the paperwork out of the way before we arrived. Since Covid, many car dealers offer curbside, etc. We filled out the paperwork from home. We sent them photos of drivers license, income, insurance. We get an alert that the credit score was run. Then they told us we were approved for the financing options we wanted. So we drove the 70+ miles to sign and drive home.When we arrived, we took it for a test drive and were extremely happy to be buying this vehicle. HOWEVER... now they say we dont have proof of income, which we already sent and were supposedly approved. They push my son to get someone to co-sign. He refused and then they started dinging the credit AGAIN to attempt to find a bank to give him the loan they already said he had. We told them to stop and left.Four hours wasted. Spare yourself and avoid them.

No one was doing their job just talking with each other didn’t even ask me if I needed anything. Not worth stopping here at all drove all the way to bastrop was there for 30 minutes and done!!

I did purchase a vehicle but the up front process is still old school. Im grateful for Mr. Todd Jackson (plug) helping me with my purchase. Financing was easy and quick.

I got the deal I was looking for with relatively no up sale attempts. Payment within 21 dollars of my desired budget. Sales guy Travis was cool to work with. I havr no complaints.

Picked up a car part and it was a quick experience.

As a small business owner in the service industry I fully appreciate the chaos and endless challenges that come with the territory. Over the years I’ve learned valuable lessons that push our organization to be better. The greatest lesson is that many problems can be avoided and resolved through frequent and clear communication.Unfortunately the communication by the Covert Ford Service department has been embarrassingly poor during my relationship with them. When the transmission went out in my Ford Transit Connect at 90,000 miles and needed replaced, I reluctantly had them replace it. Fast forward to August 14, 2020and with 198,000 miles the transmission was acting up again, and knowing I received a lifetime warranty on the replaced transmission I took it back to Covert.They have had the vehicle in their possession for over 6 weeks and went I returned to retrieve the vehicle today September 28, 2020 they could not tell me what was wrong with it. When requested to be told, all they could say was ‘we will know more in morning’. When I asked to be compensated with vehicle so I could get to work, they said ‘we will know more in morning’.Have your ever been held hostage? By a company? That is how I feel. Who knows what they have been up to for the last 6 weeks? If you are needing service on your Ford I recommend any and all other Ford dealerships where they actually care enough about customers to provide frequent and clear communication.

Service department reception and scheduling is TERRIBLE!!! They force you to make an Appt. then when you arrive they tell you it will be 3-4 days before they can look at your vehicle. Whats the point of the Appt.? On a positive note, theyve always fixed it right the first time.

This was the nicest experience I have had buying a vehicle. Oscar Armenta is my sales rep and he is fantastic. He showed me all the options on the vehicle I was interested in before I had even drove it and then was explaining everything while I was test driving it. He showed me other vehicles I was wanted to look at and took all the time I needed to explain everything to me. Oscar is very concerned and wants to make sure you have everything you need and does not pressure or rush you about anything. I will definitely recommend Oscar and everyone at Covert, the entire group went above and beyond anything I have ever experienced with a car dealership. Bought a nice truck, but came to issues after the purchase, could not drive the vehicle off the lot due to issues regraded passing state inspection due to “tuner” on the vehicle which they promoted for the purchase. The tuner was removed and they would not release any info or refund me for what I was shown to be a selling point on the truck. Then the company proceeded to cost me $100+ in toll bills on my trade in vehicle by not taking ownership on the registration of the temporary tags on the vehicle in which I had contacted txtag to take the vehicle off but would still be in my name if the registration wasn’t taken over. I’m happy with the vehicle but the terms that followed has made me pretty displeased with the company.

I would suggest visiting and not conduct a transaction by phone or online as they still have a lot of kinks to sort out before you can have a good buying experience. I know this first hand.

Service dept has been great just wish wait times were not so crazy long. I mean two recalls, two minor warranty issues and an oil change and they will have my car for 12 days? Even made an appt a month in advance....at least I got a free loaner vehicle

I always have a great experience here. Our service advisor Andrew is always the best. He gets back to us very quickly and is always able to resolve any issues that we have. That oil changes have always been done to perfection including a car wash every single time. And theyre always able to get us in we need to get in. Great prices too!

The worst service I’ve ever had. I went in for a oil change and my first four were included in my lease and they refused to look at my contract finally got it figured out after 2 hours. And they continued to be rude and actually said “we’re not Mercedes we don’t do that.” We had to go to finance and print my lease off it took 4 house and left my car in a total mess grease all over the interior.

Covert Cadillac is fantastic! I just moved here from So Florida, and I was used to below average service from Cadillac. I truly felt welcomed, valued and had a Cadillac experience! All of the staff were friendly, outgoing and very helpful. Ryan Gibson, my service advisor, went above and beyond with outstanding customer service,and kept me informed of every detail of what was going on. I got my car back today, and they took care of everything. I havent had service like this in many years. Highly recommend!

Worst experience ever! I decided to step out of my comfort zone and try a different make and model than what I had. I was told on a couple ocassion (Julie) would call me to discuss numbers. I never received that call. I had to contact the sales rep the following day and asked what was going on the next day. I get a (“I’m sorry I was busy all day yesterday and I’m off today. I will work on your deal first thing in the morning) I’m a very understanding and patient person but communication is the key to great customer service. Unfortunate the communication was horrible. I wasted 3 days trying to workout a reasonable deal.I ended up going to my local dealership that I had purchased a vehicle from before. I got rid of my 2017 and walked away with a 2019 with a payment I was comfortable with and it took less than an hour.

My experience with this dealership is not from purchasing a vehicle, but bringing one to them to fix. THEY OVERCHARGE, and take advantage, I for one will not be going back. I would advise anyone to keep your eyes open when dealing with them and pay attention. If I could have remembered the name of the person I dealt with, his name would have been in this review. Would not give me the 60 inch tv that I won.

Covert Auto was like going to the circus the day that the Ring Master was home. We came to look at a demo Chevy Tahoe and we stopped at the used car building. The young man working told us that the car we wanted was too many hoops to jump through to get it. He then sat my wife down at a computer and asked if he could deal with another customer. We left and went to the new car dealership (one building over) and they were happy to let us test drive the vehicle. The salesman persisted that if we wanted to purchase the vehicle there was a 1300 up-charge for getting the VIN number scribed in inconspicuous places on the vehicle and to put nitrogen in the tires. This of course raised the price of the car above the advertised price. We were also considering trading our car in and it took asking for the keys 4 times for them to finally give them to me. The best part is I asked were they parked it and they had no idea. I find myself in the parking lots (plural) holding my keys up in the air for well over 15 minutes before I found it and could leave.

Went in for tune up on my Lincoln next day my vehicle was burning some type of fluid smoke coming out through hood. Took a week to have someone look at it, i noticed something leaking over the motor block and burning. Clearly they did something wrong or tore something. Too much of coincidence, they kept vehicle 6 hrs just to tell me normal wear and tear. $150 to find problem plus extra to address issue. Bad experience.

We came to covert Auto Group because you were extremely disappointed in the way we were treated at South Austin Kia. My son buying his first used car was treated with respect by the salesman. Everything was up front no hidden surprises. My son walked away with a beautiful used Ford Fiesta low miles fair price. Can ask more than that

Super helpful staff. I had recall work done that was not completely covered by the warranty. Jennifer Castillo was a stellar advisor who made the process painless and affordable! The repairs took a few days, so I got a loaner (free) 2019 Ford Escape with all the bells & whistles (only 110 miles on the odometer) A fun few days driving it while my vehicle was being repaired. All good with my Lil Blue now!A big thank you to Covett!

These guys (and Im sure girls) are really good. Dealt with Travis Gaiser, the sales rep. He was excellent..his sales mgr. Mike Mason was very efficient and empathetic as well. Going into F & I, I had the pleasure of being helped by Chris Wanken...I dont know for sure...but he may be the best finance guy I have ever dealt with when buying a new vehicle. These folks are good. Frankly, in retrospect, I dont think they have time to mess around and they know its in their best interest to move fast and make sure your happy!
