I enjoyed my car buying experience at AutoNation much more than my last few ones (at another, to remain nameless, dealership). Caitlin, our salesperson, was very personable (honestly, downright cool and hilarious) and responsive to all my questions/needs, and our finance guy- shout out to Daniel D-Flo Flores- was helpful and transparent regarding all the fees and options. He even managed to knock a few points of our pre-approved APR, which was awesome! At the end of the day, I left with the car I wanted at a price I was happy with, and what could be better than that?
First time car buyer and Laura did a great job in helping me find what I need. Let her know my budget and what I was looking for, I was approved for a few cars before I walked in. Only took about 3 hours and I left with a car I love. 2020 Camry. Id highly recommend working with Laura Padilla, she was professional, friendly and very helpfully.
If you go there definitely ask for Eric Lemacks. I have been in car sales for a while. I know the gimmicks and the games and he doesnt play them. He is upfront and honest about his deals. I was there to help my mom buy a car, I know now that even if I wasnt there he would have taken care of her. We drove all the way from San Antonio. The sales manager David was very good too, no bs straight forward and honest, very concerned that my mom was happy with the car over making a car deal happen. They are both an asset to the company. Also Ali in finance was great too, all around a great experience.
We had been in a car accident and totaled our vehicle, but thankfully we were all okay. I found a vehicle I liked online (Toyota Highlander XLE), but it was sold the same day I called. Eric helped me get into a Limited Highlander which had all the bells and whistles, which he explained in depth. Daniel helped out immensely when it was time for financing. We got the car at a good price, even during a chip shortage, and we got the payment close to what we wanted. Appreciate all the help and I’ll be back when it’s time to get our next vehicle.
The review I never thought I would write! I just had an amazing buying experience with a used car dealership! Marc Diaz, my salesperson, deserves the credit. He took my experience personally and made it as good as it could be. Thank you Marc. I was treated with respect, received quick and efficient service and the entire transaction took less than an hour. That is nothing short of amazing. Not only that, when I discovered a few defects in the 4 year old car I purchased, Marc did what was right and immediately got my car into the service department to get those things fixed (alignment). Im really happy to say that I would recommend AutoNation Toyota South Austin to anyone looking to buy a car. Ive purchased dozens of vehicles over the years, many from dealers and this was my best experience by far.
I’ve been a Toyota fan for many years and all with my family too, I decided to go with me Nissan To get a car I will never go there again. The people Customer Service don’t give you a break for nothing wanna charge you for every little single thing It’s all about money in their eyes. I walked out on the Toyota company with a brand new car, Trading my Nissan and walked out of there with a 2022 with a great bargain. The manager was excellent and is a people person that you would want to go back and tell everybody to go there to do business. I was so happy with the deal that I wanted to cry. They treated me like a person and customer service was excellent to the sales person.. They seem to be more concerned about making you happy instead of seeing dollar signs. And now I’m back with my Toyota family and never leaving again!!!! Thank you Toyota, Very happy and very satisfied.
I’m super happy we came here to get my car our sales rep was Ruben G. was super nice and so helpful with everything! He made our experience go super smooth, he was so laid back and chill and went over everything with us and made us feel good about our decision he went explained everything and answered all questions that we had I’m so glad we had him as our sales rep! He went above and beyond to make us feel at ease! And we didn’t feel any type of pressure people usually get when shopping for a car and we didn’t feel like that at all he did a good job helping us find the perfect car! Vincent was great and super nice and very helpful he explained all the paperwork to us and made sure we understood everything and answered all our questions before we left he really made us feel at ease when leaving there he was awesome! Both Ruben & Vincent were amazing thank you both so much for helping us get my new car! Will definitely be back!
My wife was looking for a new vehicle and with inventory so low, I was not sure we would find what she wanted. But AutoNation Toyota South Austin came through for us in a big way. Not only did they get us a new Sienna minivan in the spec we were looking for, but they gave us a great value for our trade. Great group of folks that were friendly and honest the entire process. Second time customer with the dealership and we were treated extremely well.
Great service, exceeded my expectations. They were able to minimize my time at the dealership. Like the shortest time ever and, Chris C. Was able to make the deal I wanted happen. Usually I set my expectations of buying a car beyond reach for my first and second choices…. And while I didn’t get my first choice (I actually could have if I’d been willing to wait for the vehicle I wanted) however I actually got a better vehicle then I expected. At this point 2 weeks after purchase, we’re very happy with the vehicle and service!
They told me my brake pads were not original Toyota parts, and that they were worn down and needed replacing ($760). My sequoia is always serviced at my previous Toyota dealership - so I was skeptical. I took it to another Toyota service / dealership, and they said my brakes were still in the green and perfectly fine. Highly recommend diligence and possibly avoidance when it comes to this service department.
What an amazing car buying experience! We had the pleasure of working with Patrick Benadum. He was the most genuine and helpful car salesman we’ve ever worked with! He paid attention to every detail and went the extra mile! So grateful for this dealership and Patrick!
Go see Melissa Davis at Auto Nation Toyota! They listened to my budget and met all my needs every step of the way. All my questions were answered with experience and kindness + no sales pressure. I got a good price for my trade-in and walked out with a new used car that Im happy about. Thank You Melissa + team!
Typical car buying experience. Stephan, our sales person, was good and communicated well throughout the buying process. We asked to have the paperwork ready to sign when we picked up the truck. It wasnt and then we were told that they do not do the paperwork until you show up to sign. Would have been nice to know that so we could plan accordingly. 3 hrs just to sign paperwork. Once we finally saw the finance manager, Vince, everything flowed nicely. He did a really good job of moving through the process as quickly as possible. Overall I would recommend Auto Nation Toyota.
That was my first time meeting Tony, and he provided me with excellent customer service. He kept me in the loop on the status of my vehicle and explained to me what the maintenance professionals did to fix the issue and I greatly appreciated that. Excellent job all around!!!
In all honesty, I had the best car buying experience working with Joshua Reese!! The final price was exactly as negotiated and there were no last-minute surprises. He made this process so easy through his quick and clear communication skills. He was a pleasure to work with and I would definitely buy another car from him!!
After leasing my vehicle through Toyota, I decided I loved my tacoma so much that I wanted to purchase it. I went in for a quick visit and was not pressured into anything. I had to take a few extra days and figure out my financing. Ed Fernandez was my sales assistant and he was incredibly responsive and helped me take care of everything from the comfort of my own home, through text and email. That absolutely works best for me. Next time I want to buy a vehicle or, more likely, trade my beloved Tacoma in for a newer one, I will absolutely be going to this Toyota and asking for Ed.
Worst service experience ever!Scheduled an appointment for 12:15 PM for oil change and alignment. Vehicle was finally done shortly after 4PM. The Service Advisor did not once provide an update throughout the waiting period even though he knew we were waiting for the vehicle in the lobby. We had to escalate to the manager to get an update. In the end we were provided the oil change and alignment free of charge, but the multipoint inspection sheet indicated that the differential fluid among other items needed immediate attention. The service advisor decided not to bring the multipoint inspection items up with us and just gave us the paperwork with the comment My manager said no charge. I did not notice the items called out in the multipoint inspection until I arrived home. So thats on me for not verifying the paperwork prior to leaving the service center. We never asked for the service we had an appointment for to be free of charge. We wanted our vehicle serviced prior to a long road trip. The fact that Autonation returned the vehicle to us without offering to address the items their certified mechanics pointed out as needing immediate attention is just bad business.I have been a longtime customer of Autonation South, but what a bad experience.
I am so thankful for the smooth process in the purchase of my new vehicle. My sales associate Jesse Martinez and finance manager were able to meet my expectations by all means. Definitely a great experience at this dealership. Highly recommend. Cant wait to travel in my 2021 Highlander XSE!!
This is my second time at Autonation and Ive been pleased with both the car and customer service both times. Efrain has helped me on both occasions, hes friendly and gets me in and out and as quickly as possible. It takes 2-2.5 hours from soup to nuts, so for those of you who dont want to wait inside, theyve put some seats out in the shade for your health and safety.
Good courteous service even when the other customers are being abusive to the staff. It would be nice if they didn’t lie to to me when the service advisor is out for the day. They say he’s out with a customer when it’s really his day off or he had a family emergency. I then waste time sitting in his office while everyone else ignores me. This has been going on for years and I still fall for it because I don’t want to believe that they would lie to a customer about something so simple.
AutoNation is doing great work but the prices are higher than your local small repair shops. I would recommend AutoNation for your more specialized work and the smaller repair shops for less complicated routine maintenance. AutoNation does have good people trying to do a good job.
So my boyfriend and I came on an impulse to check out this car I’ve had my eyes on (2019 Rav4). Paul was super helpful and knowledgeable on the car. He answered any and all questions we had, and there were a lot. I was on a pretty strict budget and price I was willing to pay, and Paul really worked with us and got us the price we wanted! Plus I was trading in my old car and he helped get me get the most money for it. I can’t recommend this place enough, especially Paul. Everyone was just great and made my car buying experience really smooth.
I came to AutoNation Toyota South Austin after looking at some vehicles on their competitors lot that I was not impressed by, including their customer service. The salesman that helped me (Dalton) was very attentive and willing to let me look at any vehicle I desired in full detail. At no point did I ever feel rushed or as if I was a burden to his day. He did an amazing job at providing suggestions on other options and he also took the time to show me the vehicles carfax. I would like to thank Dalton and the sales team at AutoNation Toyota South Austin because they helped me find my dream car at a truly AMAZING PRICE. If you are not sure where to go, I suggest starting here and save yourself a bunch of time.
Never had a car buying experience go down so smoothly like my recent one. Jesse Martinez made this seem effortless on my behalf and ensured me that my buy would be worth the time and money and boy was he right! I am only going to one dealership going forward thanks to the expertise and professionalism of this Autonation Toyota
Isaac was an outstanding service rep. He did everything in his power to fix our problem at the most reasonable price and was thorough in checking our warranty benefits and helped us get a loaner car for the days our car was in the shop. Well done, Isaac and AutoNation!
Had a great experience purchasing my fourth Tacoma. It was Jim who helped me, and he made the process seamless. I was recovering from a severe auto accident, and he made sure to accommodate my needs and was very kind and helpful. I was able to get the exact vehicle I wanted, and am very happy with it!
I had a appointment to get my car serviced at 8:00 am. When I got there, I waited for 25 minutes before a greeter would meet with me. They were going around to the cars that came behind me. After I waited for 45 minutes in the waiting room I checked with the service guys and I was told that it will another hour and half for a simple service. They have not yet started on my car. I asked a loaner car but was told none was available. My car was done at 10:45 am. Not very happy with the service.
I had a great experience working with Paul Avalos. He was flexible with my out of state car insurance and made sure I drove off the lot in a car I loved.I would definitely recommend working with Paul, he’s responsive and on top of his game.
We purchased a 2021 Toyota 4 runner from Salesman Tom Naughton. He was awesome from start to finish. We came in from San Antonio late one afternoon, Tom stayed until we were done with paperwork. He patiently took the time to explain all of the features and how to use them to my wife. Tony in finance was very thorough and took the time to explain warranty options and other dealer additions. He was not pushy at all! pretty much explained pros and cons and let us make the decision. Great overall experience. In this day and age you cant expect much in customer service. These guys got it down! Wish there were more dealerships like this! Not only best price in Texas, Excellent customer service aswell!! We will definitely do business with Auto Nation Toyota South Austin again!
We have been happily buying and servicing our vehicles at this location for the past 20+ years. We trust them to accurately evaluate and make suggestions regarding repairs and maintenance for our 98 Sienna, 02 Camry and 12 Camry. This particular visit was intended to address the tire pressure sensors, which seem to have failed. We get the light indicating a tire pressure problem, but the display that is supposed to show each tires individual pressure is just blank. After learning they were going to charge $250 for EACH tire, we decided we could just deal with checking our own tire pressure when/if we get the light. Otherwise, the service was quick, friendly and professional.
I will never bring my truck back here again. I have lost all confidence in this service team. I came in for an oil change and tire rotation. Was told that it was not possible to rotate my tires. When I asked the service tech he just shrugged and said “I don’t know what to tell you one of our technicians was probably feeling lazy and wrote down they couldn’t do it.” I then pointed out when I got to my truck that at least one wheel had been rotated. He looked at me shrugged and just walked away. When I got home I was looking over my vehicle and notice one tire looked off. I checked the PSI and it was at 57 PSI (Supposed to be a 34). I had recently filled my tires before taking in for a service here and know that it was at 34 when I dropped it off. Why was my tire inflated to that PSI? Will never go back here again.
After receiving horrible service multiple times at Charles Maund, I decided to take my auto to AutoNation Toyota South Austin today. This was my first time getting my 4Runner serviced at this location. I spoke with Jacob before scheduling my appointment. He provided excellent customer service! Service was fast and they did not give me the usual run around. This location will definitely be my new auto service provider for my 4Runner. Since this was my first time at this location, I went to the front desk cashier and a hispanic gentlemen was very rude. I told him that this was my first time at this facility and that I didnt know where to go or talk to, to pick up my vehicle. He was very abrasive and he seemed upset because I bothered him with a question. Overall, I had a great experience (With the exception of the front desk cashier.) Kudos to Jacob for great customer service!
Super recommend this place for a newer/new car. NO haggling, no pressure, no worries. I absolutely love my pre-owned Toyota, courtesy of Ed!Ask for Ed for top notch attention to detail and information about vehicles.
I have now had two body shop experiences, a service experience, and a sales experience at AutoNation Toyota South Austin. I can say with absolute confidence that if I had to buy another vehicle tomorrow, I would go there first.I bought a TRD off-road 4x4 and there were none in stock. My salesman, Charles Dubon, ordered one for me and then was absolutely wonderful about keeping me in the loop during the build process. When the day came, I didnt have a ride to the dealership, and Charles came to pick me up in my brand new truck. And then I got to drive back to the dealership to sign the paperwork.Because the purchase happened during the pandemic, the dealership made it very easy for me to negotiate the price and pass paperwork back and forth via email and text to avoid having to spend too much time in the dealership. All in all Im really happy with the vehicle, and Im really happy with the dealership. I plan on taking my truck there for service. Also, you should probably see some pics of my new ride too.
I wasnt looking for a new car, but Chris C. and his sales manager made me an offer that was too good to pass up. They were patient, informative and never once pushy. I really appreciated the way they treated me.
My service rep was Jared Jones.I came in at my appointed time but had to wait in my car for about 20 minutes before anyone came to get my car. No big deal. I was told it would be about a 2 hour wait for the work on my car to be completed.2 hours came and went so I went back to Jared to see if my car was ready. Turns out, it hadn’t even been started on. Apparently two of the mechanics didn’t show up for work that day. Jared then offered to get me a rental car as it was clearly going to be quite a bit longer before my car was ready.I left in a red RAV4, which didn’t seem to have been wiped down/sanitized since the last person they rented it out to had used it. Not especially comforting with Covid running rampant. Regardless, I get home in about 45 minutes (I live that far away) and get a phone call from a service guy (not Jared) asking me if there is a set of golf clubs in the trunk. There was, so clearly the car hadn’t been cleaned/inspected since the last person used it. Awesome. This guy (can’t remember his name) then asked me if I could bring the car back. I asked him if my car was ready, he confirmed it was not. So I said no, I will bring it back when my car is ready or they can come retrieve it. He then ASKED IF HE COULD SEND THIS RANDOM PERSON TO MY HOUSE to collect their golf clubs. Apparently he had an early tee time the next morning. I’m not a lawyer but I am sure this would be illegal or at the least against company policy to share customer information. I obviously told him he cannot give this random guy my house address.I eventually got my car the next day. I just thought someone at Toyota should know that one of your employees (again, not Jared) tried to send another one of your customers my information, there’s no way that would have been acceptable in my eyes.
This was an awesome and stress free experience. This was my first new car and Andy did an excellent job of walking me through the process. If you are looking for a car I recommend working with Andy!
The salesman was very helpful once I arrived at the store and the process was simple. I test drove a Tacoma and Tundra and decided to go with the Tacoma.I did have an issue after buying a new Tacoma but I am working with the GM to resolve this.He was very responsive and helpful.
Isaias in Used Auto Sales was attentive to my needs. He kept his word, and followed up promptly, at every turnHe walked with me through the process. He was supportive of less reliable associates, I encountered there, during my car search. The process was quick and easy!Kathy
This was a great and efficient car buying experience! My husband and I had our heart set on a specific new Tacoma. We had been warned ahead of time that we would probably have to wait awhile to get what we wanted, inventory on those didn’t really exist because they sell quickly. When we arrived to the dealership it turned out the exact truck we wanted had been delivered there that day, brand new! We were able to leave with our new truck that very day. They did a great job getting it all ready and setup for us and we’ve been thrilled with the truck. The dealer and financing department were very helpful and we were taken care of every step of the way.
Amazing experience, CAIT THE GREAT! Please ask for her, she truly made my wife and I feel like family :-)
To be fair, I have posted several 5 star ratings about the service department here but this last experience is hard to understand? Our Prius with 180,000 miles on it had a serious problem and after having it towed in for diagnosis on Tuesday morning, I never received any information until I drove there today (3 days later) to personally speak to the Service Manager Mickey. I now know that our 2010 Prius needs a new motor and that i am mostly to blame for driving it in to the ground but I definitely deserved a return phone call, text, email or voice-mail without having to drive over there to find this out!
Aaron B was the service advisor and did a great job in communicating the process. He also identified any customer service opportunities to make the overall experience a great one. The crew took a little bit longer then he estimated, but they were busy! He still found a way to make the wait worth while. Great work Toyota for having a wonderful service advisor like Aaron. I will be coming back for awesome service!
Very good customer service.I have a pleasure to be helped by Tony Sabatino,, who is very patient, giving me a lot of advices how to keep my car in a good shape.waiting time was short and waiting facilities are very comfortable.Thank you very much
Ive been using the services of AutoNation Toyota South Austin for over ten years, always with satisfactory to exemplary service. My last visit, however, left a lot to be desired. I went in for a scheduled oil change and tire rotation which were completed in a very satisfactory manor. However, the car was returned to me with a missing hub cap. I was told that it was damaged an could not be replaced on the wheel. I know this was not true because I had checked the air in the tires the night before and there was no damage to the hub cap. After I left the dealership, with out the hub cap, I found greasy palm prints on the passenger side window. This is not the service I had come to expect from AutoNation.auto
My service advisor, Art Gomez, is always friendly and professional. I can trust Art to make sure my car is well cared for.
They try to be as quick as possible. Service people always pleasant. And they even clean your car for you outside and in!
If youre not paying cash, FLEE. The salespeople are pretty nice. Its finance where the teeth come out. They try to bully you into buying a vehicle protection plan that can add up to $10k to the price of the car, and they wont give you a decent interest rate unless you do. They wont even let you buy the car without one. I said I didnt want it about 50 times before, exhausted and starving, I surrendered to a small plan just so I could go home. Immediate regret, tried to cancel. They said fine, sign here, wait 6-8 weeks for a refund. Here were are six MONTHS later and I havent seen a penny. I got the name of the ONLY person who handles refunds, and shes never in the office, never answers her phone, and never answers email. I have no evidence shes a real person. Way to make a terrible experience drag on for half a year.
My experience was fantastic! I bought a new Tundra, and its great! Shaddi is one of the best sales people I have ever worked with. He was there every step of the way, through my purchase, and he still makes himself available for any questions I have about my new vehicle. He is the most knowledgeable sales person I have ever met, hands down. Furthermore, all the staff at AutoNation was very attentive and made our experience a great one! Highly recommended!
Mike Ginther deserves a 10/10 service rating. For how busy the finance department is, he has delivered exceptional care to me, as well as members of my family & close friends. His attention to detail and genuine care for guests may go unnoticed by the department/company, however the customers helped by Mike NOTICE all of his extended efforts.
Just bought a used Tundra last week. Wasnt planning to buy that day but the team was able to meet my expectations. Dalton and Paul assisted me in finding the truck that I wanted and overall good experience from the test drive to the vehicles history. I wouldnt mind buying from this dealership again in the future
Scheduled an appointment for my first free service you are given when you purchase a vehicle, in advance. Had no record of it when I showed up for appointment. Waited over an hour an a half for an oil change and safety service check. No one told us car was ready. Empty windshield wiper fluid message on when I went to leave. Had to drive back to service to have them fill it up. Wonder what else was not checked. Not going back for this service if I cant trust the stated services were performed, especially by the car dealer.
Great place to buy or lease a Toyota. Look up Shaddi if you are there, he is a very professional yet personable person.
Even with the current vehicle shortage the staff at Toyota do their very best to get exactly what you need as soon as they can. Highly recommend and love the vehicle we secured. The safety features are awesome.
Had great and fast service when I went in for oil change. Art was polite and to the point, considerate of my time. Great job!
I’m honestly disappointed in Toyota as a whole. I bought a Toyota certified 2018 Tundra from the dealership looking for a reliable vehicle. In the last year I’ve had to go to the dealership many times and spend thousands on repairs. I wouldn’t of spent so much on a truck knowing it would have so many issues. I’ve tried to complain to multiple dealerships and they just tell me to call customer service. I figured those complaints would go unanswered too so I decided to put it in writing. Who’s ever reading this I hope you have a better experience with Toyota. I’ve heard such good things about the company I just think I got stuck with a lemon.
Auto Nation Toyota treated me right. I had already gotten a decent deal from them through my credit unions car buying service. which I highly recommend My trade was valued fairly. Their employees were decent. I had purchased a 13 RAV4 eight years ago and repeated the purchase. The cars prep was good too.
Excellent customer service! Collin Maleski and the rest of the team went out of their way to find the best deal and walk me through the process. Definitely a happy customer✨
Great experience buying a used car here. The staff was friendly and Collin with sales did a great job about listening to what we wanted and offered us great choices. Would definitely recommend and buy here again!
What a great buying/trading in experience! Cait Lawson listened to exactly what I wanted and kept me informed throughout the process no pressure whatsoever just let me know the options available in this crazy time. I ended up changing my mind mind and she and her team worked on making my trade in happen. Kudos to all involved. I really feel like part of the Auto Nation family versus just another customer. Thanks Cait.
We bought a 2021 Toyota RAV4 here a couple of weeks ago and could not have been more pleased with our sales rep and the financial department. Patrick Carrillo gave us the best test drive ever! He patiently showed my husband and me all the cars safety features and had us drive on smooth, fast highways and bumpy backroads. He stayed in contact with us after we kept car shopping at Howdy Honda where we had the worst customer service ever! When we returned to Toyota South, Patrick showed us a few more RAV4s and we found the best fit for us. Then after great service with their finance specialist, Patrick took his time showing me how to use the cars instrument panel, explaining Apple CarPlay and the Bluetooth features. He patiently answered all my questions and never made my husband and me feel pressured or rushed. So far, we really enjoy driving our RAV4, and we highly recommend car shopping at AutoNation Toyota South Austin. Ask for Patrick Carrillo!
Eric and his service team are absolutely top notch. I went in with a unique issue and they took care of it it a timely manner, we’re totally transparent, and I left with a better result than I was anticipating. 100% recommended.
Amazing Customer Service! Tony helped me out great guys, real professional, made getting my truck service quick and easy. Thanks
I sold my A3 to AutoNation. Cindy Ventura was awesome. Very friendly. She handled the purchase very well. I didn’t have to do much except for sign papers. Went above and beyond for her client.
All staff were kind and professional from check in to closing. Great customer service, Jarod clearly explained services that were recommended for my vehicle, and we discussed options to postpone less critical services (e.g. replacement of windshield wipers).I will continue to use this company for all my service needs
Great customer service! Epi Rodriguez provided timely updates and made sure I was informed of the necessary maintenance needed on my vehicle. Thank you!
We worked with Cait from AutoNation to by a used Ford and she was amazing! She made sure that we were comfortable throughout the whole process and was very knowledgeable of the cars we were looking at. She was great at making sure we knew everything about both cars we looked at so we could make an informed decision! At no point did we feel like a burden on her day even though she had a lot going on and we never felt rushed, despite our indecisiveness. She was very attentive and was great at communicating with us, even during a very busy day. We could not have had a better car buying experience!
Called a day ahead to go see and purchase the car as I live 3 hours away. They did not charge the vehicle as I asked them to. The salesman was very nice and did work hard to get everything done. It was raining so I asked them to not wash the car but just really detail the inside. Once I made it home and could see it in the light, I saw that it was dusty and still very dirty on the inside. windows were not even cleaned. Finance department sold me on a coating for the window that was never applied, and changed the price from 599.00 to 799 with out my knowledge. And on top of that I cannot get a single person on the phone. I would not purchase from here. Plus the tires have zero tread Im shocked they can legally sell it like that. Sad thing is this is the first New used car I have bought in 7 years. needless Im not happy.
Previous experience has been positive. However, if you are serviced by an advisor named Wes Peterson, good luck to you and your car. He was the most unprofessional advisor I have ever met at any Toyota dealership.1. I was sitting in the customer lounge to wait for the car to have oil change. He had the audacity to call me on my phone and tell me to walk to his office to pick up my car cause its done. Never attempt to look for me in the lounge first2. I had to ask him for a multi point inspection report, which he took a brief look and told me only problem I have is probably time to change the rear tires ( see attached photos for more details on this). When I got home and looked at it, there are obviously more than 1 item that need immediate attention that he didnt bother to discuss with me3. It says on the receipt I declined routine maintenance. How am I supposed to decline something I was never offered?!?If lying and ignoring customer vehicles need is how your service department is run. Sorry, Im going to another Toyota dealership for service that treats customer right!
I NEVER leave Google reviews, but I have to leave one because of the exceptional service I received. Eric Lemacks helped me every step of the way and even stayed late with me while we got everything situated. He was super communicative, always available and went above and beyond to make sure I was well taken care of. I will happily recommend anyone to Toyota South Austin because of the way he helped me.
One reason I would not recommend it for someone making a Toyota purchase is they did not seem to be above board with information about leasing the Toyota. They said they could not connect with Toyota Financial Services. Also they offered online to buy my car regardless of whether I was purchasing a replacement vehicle or not. At the dealership i was told they would only buy my Highlander SUV (car) if I was leasing or buying a car.
I purchased my new 2021 Tacoma SX last month and did not see a defect (uneven surface / bumps) in the one plastic fender flare until a few days later after taking it home. This particular defect was not obvious but can be seen in the right light and angle of view. Upon speaking with AutoNation Toyota and sending them photos they agreed to replace it. The initial replacement part from their inventory had the same defect so it was not used but later after getting another fender flare sent in it was a quick fix that only took around 30 minutes to replace. Apparently this particular defect got through the Toyota inspection grid in their factory and got onto some vehicles as well as in their inventory of replacement parts.
Charles Dubon made it happen. Honest sales person.Really did try his best to get me a fair deal. This man went out of his way to help and do right by his customers.
Juan really helped me out getting the oil changed and a few recommended services in record time. I felt like I had a personal pit crew. Thanks again Juan.
As quick and smooth as possible. Friendly team all around. Shout out to Isaias for helping me with my new rav4.
Isaias Fuentes was my sales person and he did a good job. The car was ready for the test drive when we arrived. He was able to answer any questions we had. The things that caused only 3 starts are related to finalizing the deal. I traded in a car and applied some of the trade in value to the new car and the rest I wanted cash back. It look them 2 weeks to get me the check. I had to call them since no one ever called me. The car I traded in did not have a lien. There is no reason that it should have taken 2 weeks to pay me for the car that they essentially bought from me. Daniel Flores was the Financial Service Manager and he had a ton of flakey excuses and never seemed to know what was going on. This is the second time Ive purchased from an AutoNation dealer and the second time it has not gone smoothly after the sale. I will avoid them in the future.
I have been going to AutoNation Toyota South Austin for about 4 years and I can truly say my experiences each time get better and better. During my last trip Michael Cavitolo walked me through trading my car in for a brand new 2021 car. He was so kind and exhibited so much patience while walking me through each step towards trading in my car. I never imagined trading in my 2005 Toyota Corolla but Michael made the transition so smooth and made sure my safety concerns were met and my expectations were exceeded. Not only this, but he advocated for such a reasonable and affordable price for me during these hard times. If you are even thinking about trading in your car, I 10/10 recommend Michael Cavitolo and AutoNation Toyota South Austin.
Work always done to my liking. Jared is awesome with his customers.
I bought a Tesla. Everything went smooth. For such an expensive car though you would expect the car to be completely detailed inside and out. It was not the case at all. Though they did offer upon bringing it up to stop by and have it done. Also the temp tags were attached and it was upside down. The temp tags were attached wrong and they are coming off constantly. I want to exchange it but the bolts are stripped and now I need to see how to safely remove it.
Always have a pleasant experience at AutoNation Toyota South Austin. My Service Advisor, Isaac, was great and got me in and out timely.
Scheduled a tire replacement due to a nail puncture in 2 tires. Advised the service team that I had Tire & Wheel Protection Platinum Plan which replaces the tire of any road hazard instead of a patch/repair. Service team advised they had not heard of this plan, even though it is a manufacture protection plan, and stated they would research and advise.2 hours after my scheduled appointment I was advised my car was done and the tires were patched....It was again another run around stating the Tire & Wheel Protection Plan is replacement and not a patch service, which I paid extra for at time of vehicle purchase. The service team then realized the claim submitted by them returned stating it indeed was a full tire replacement, but they failed to note that for the maintenance team to move forward with. Another 1.5 hours had passed (totaling a 4 hour wait from a scheduled maintenance appointment) my tires had been replaced and I was on my way after business closing hour. If I had not been adamant and knowledgeable of my purchased plan it would not have been honored.
This dealership’s service department is operated as an assembly-line mode but the lack of focus on quality by the technicians is cause for concern. My Prius was brought in for an oil change but after I drove off the lot one of the fasteners came loose causing the oil drain and filter cover to drop to the ground dragging it while the car was driven. Please stop this fast turnover of service when inattention to fasten the screw securely causes the customer wasted time and grief?!
I moved back to Texas a few months ago, have been taking my leased Toyota here, and purchased it in July. My experience has been mostly positive, and I personally really like my salesperson. However, the dealership really messed me up today. Sooo...THINK TWICE BEFORE LETTING THEM REGISTER YOUR VEHICLE!When I went in to purchase the car, I had already had it inspected, and had made an appointment to get it registered and get my plates. But the dealership was like - no, we can register it for you! Great, I cancelled that appointment. I also had an appointment with the DMV to get my new drivers license - the soonest I could get was 2 months away. The week before I went into the DMV, I noticed that my buyers tag was expiring, and I had not received my plates. I called the Sales Office, asked about my expiring buyers tag, and the guy on the line told me that plates are running late, the DMV will understand, and it wont be a problem. So I go to the DMV and... guess what, its a problem! They wont give me a driving test if I dont have up-to-date registration. I have to schedule another appointment... two months down the line! All that time, Ill be driving w/o a proper license.I reach out to Toyota, and theyre like, come on over, weve got your plates. Wait, WHAT? They have my plates? Why didnt anyone contact me? Why, when I called the week before, didnt they check on this for me? They were extremely apologetic, but it doesnt compensate for my time thats been wasted, or the extra ticket I may get if Im pulled over.10/11/21Toyota left a friendly response to my initial review indicating I could call the General Manager to discuss (see below). But the number given is just the main line into a phone tree. I selected Sales, talked to a friendly guy who was happy to discuss my issues. He kept saying, Do you STILL want to talk to the GM? And I was like, I think the GM wants to talk to ME. He finally said the GM was out, but hed leave a message. And of course no one called me back. So the response was simply to cover their tracks, and this dealership wasted more of my time!
Danny was the great sale rep who assisted me in buying a truck. He was hard working and was genuinely interested in getting the price to meet my needs. Daniel in the finance group was also very pleasant and a pleasure to do business with.
My experience started positive and quickly went down hill. I would not recommend buying a vehicle from these people. These guys are ridiculous. They will be the most attentive people in the world until you buy your vehicle. I have spent hours on the phone trying to get someone to pick up with no luck. I just want my license plates. I guess Ill have to drive an hour and hope my plates are still around.Pick up the phone!
They will promise to fix whatever is wrong with your used auto purchase to keep the sale, but caveat emptor.... I will be spending $1300 at a nearby shop for an AC repair. Bought the used car in December when temps were cool, and now Im cooking like a Thanksgiving turkey in my car come June because they failed to repair the problems. There is a 5-day return policy and I told sales that I was going to return it IF they didnt fix the laundry list of issues my local mechanic found - including a broken AC. After three AC repairs, it was still not fixed. Guess what? The local shop discovered that the compressor was out completely and metal bits are all over the AC system- something AN service center never found. I knew it was more than just the little things AN service center was blaming it on. The most recent repair AN service center did was an expansion valve replacement. The local shop I took it to said there IS NO new expansion valve part installed. The newest thing they blamed is a rear expansion valve... what they deemed to be a new problem and therefore not covered by the repair warranty. Guess what? I was told by the local repair shop that this KIA doesnt have a rear expansion valve.Bottom line, AutoNation would be better off not to acquire used cars for with a broken AC for their inventory in one of the hottest states in the Union. They shouldnt promise to fix things on a car with these many problems, but I agreed to keep the car with that reassurance. If you are looking at a used car here, YOU MUST take it to a local mechanic you trust, and YOU MUST not purchase it with any problems, especially when its not made by Toyota. The sales department means well as they trust their service tech counterparts, but from what Ive experienced so far the people who inspect the cars before they are offered for sale and those who repair them dont seem at all bothered by the fact that the owner does not have a working AC in 100 degree weather nearly 7 months after the problem was reported.
After 90 thousand miles, Im so glad I purchased the maintenance plan for my Camry. Every couple/few months, I just make an appointment or swing by and get high quality service from the Toyota experts. Its given me tremendous peace of mind. Sometimes it takes a while, but I like the spacious waiting room and I bring my laptop so I can get some work done while I wait. Overall, the service staff has been super chill and easy to work with and the technicians have been great - much better than Charles Maund Toyota where I had a very negative experience with pushy, rude service staff.I recently took my Hybrid Camry in at the 90k mark for my last service covered under the maintenance package. The technician noticed a steering problem that I had been ignoring and investigated it. They said it would be $89 for the diagnostic, but depending on what it was, they could look into it as a warranty claim or apply the diagnostic fee towards the repairs if I had to pay out-of-pocket for them. Turns out it was all covered by the warranty - thank God for the extended warranty coverage!Ive been very satisfied with the service and quality of work. My favorite Service Advisor there has been Tony Sabatino, hes been the most friendly, helpful and easy-going rep Ive ever worked with at a dealership! Overall, the whole team has been great. Thanks, AutoNation Toyota...yall rock!
Tony Sabatino was incredibly helpful in finding the problem and a way to fix the problem within my budget. I couldnt be happier with the service I got.
Great service as always. I take my car here Because they have always made me feel like I get the most out of my service. They are professional, efficient, and honest about what is going on with my car. And they are willing to give me the best price they can.
Brad and Vince took great care of us! They made us feel supported even after driving the car off the lot. Great experience!
Colin in sales and Daniel in finance were both fantastic to work with. They made the process of buying a truck fast, easy and friendly. I will definitely be back to Autonation Toyota for years to come.
This place is absolutely awesome. Charles I think his name was took great care of me. He was very communicative, honest, and timely. My car looked absolutely amazing once finished. I couldnt have been any happier. Looking forward to seeing yall again.
