Overall Experience: Not worth it in the slightest (*Please read further*)Delivery: The delivery was great. Very convenient and the representative who dropped the car off was amazing. Im sorry I cant remember his name, but he was so helpful and informative.The Aftermath: Oh what a nightmare this vehicle has been.1) The vehicle came with cracks and chips in the windshield, and the joint wield had been stuffed with silicone presumably to prevent a leak (not advertised). I spend over a month trying to find a facility that would fix the windshield because many shops will not work on glass that has been tampered with with silicone. (Thankfully, the warranty covered the costs of the windshield and professional cleaning of the joint wield.)2) Fast forward one week after owning (past the 7 day return)... I then found out the windshield wipers did not work in the middle of a downpour going 55 mph...3) Took the vehicle to the shop where, $2,100 later, I found out that before the silicone was put in the corner of the windshield the water damage was so bad that the vehicle needed a new fuse box, JBE module, and windshield wiper motor... (Warranty covered these costs, but my car sat in a shop for two weeks immediately after purchasing).4) The vehicle also came with interior buttons that did not work (not advertised) as well as a non-functioning navigation system (not advertised). I took the vehicle to a BMW dealership to estimate the repairs for these items... & boy am I glad I did.$4,400 later I discovered that the vehicle needed the rear breaks, pads and rotors replaced. It needed both front thrust arms replaced. The vehicle had damage to the front struts and mounts and those needed to be replaced as well and then needed to be realigned. (The breaks were not covered by warranty, but the other items were.)Now, Carvana did write me a check for $1000 to cover the replacement of the breaks and rotors and the recommended maintenance of a coolant flush and a/c servicing which was very kind of them.However, today marks day 102 of me owning the vehicle and I just picked it back up from the shop from the final repairs. Overall, in those 102 days, my vehicle has spent at least 1/3 - 1/2 of that time in the shop. It has been such a hassle being without a vehicle and trying to coordinate with multiple different repair facilities.There were a few Carvana associates that were adamant about helping through this process and I am very thankful to them, but some not so much. One associate had the audacity to tell me.. well thats what you get when you buy a used luxury vehicle... um, excuse me my vehicle supposedly went through a 150 point inspection and had this many issues. No, sounds to me like someone didnt do their job well and I got sold a BIG OL LEMON!

The worst buying experience ever. Purchased a vehicle in October of 2020, still have yet to get the plates. Almost a year to get automobile plates sent is ridiculous. Will never buy a car using this company and will let everyone I know not to buy a car from this company. Driving with expired plates. This is beyond poor business practices. No one will correct this. They keep saying it is in the mail. 11 months later and still waiting.

Wow!! My first time selling a car through Carvana and I was absolutely blown away by the ease of the experience. Ultra-fast estimate (and thou$$$$$$$ands over the estimates I got from dealers), seamless pick-up process, and I got the money deposited straight to my bank in less than five seconds after the rep picked up my car. I’ve already started the process of selling our other car through them and highly encourage anyone else to do so, as well, if you’re thinking about it.What a great business model!!

They claim on average $1,000 is invested into each vehicle before selling it. The Infiniti I bought happens to need $1,000 worth of tires that they don’t seem to care about replacing. 3 out of 4 tires are at 3/32 which is about 1mm away from failing a state inspection. The 1 decent tire is the cheapest tire you can buy for the vehicle. It doesn’t seem right to me that they sell a vehicle, and roughly 3 months down the road it is going to need $1,000 worth of tires. Also the lug nuts are all swollen to where a 21mm socket no longer fits and must be hammered on. This will make changing a spare on the side of the road near impossible. Engine air filters are filthy. It seems like all of these items were either overlooked or they simply don’t care.Also, 1 hour before my vehicle was supposed to be delivered they call and tell me they don’t have a driver and I’ll have to come in to pick it up myself. When I get there they weren’t done cleaning the vehicle, the wrong temporary plates were installed on the vehicle, and it was not clean. The state inspection was not complete either due to the fact that they “did not have time”

Usually only dissatisfied people leave reviews so I wanted to leave a positive review regarding my experience. The purchasing experience was very easy and they did exactly what they said. Upon receiving the vehicle it had a small issue which they allowed the dealer to fix. It would have cost me $700. Now I have a perfect car! Thank you Carvana!

This was a random purchase. I didnt come to TX to purchase a car but my son needed help because his car quite on him. Went on Carvana website, searched through cars, applied for financing and selected a delivery date. I was in need of an earlier delivery date so I called customer service. They were able to give me the delivery date I needed. I see all the comments about issues customers had, all it takes is to pick up the phone and work with them. If you understand, you agreed to purchase a car you didnt put eyes on so you are taking that chance that there maybe some issues, no different from dealership. I had an issue, I called Customer Service, they were able to handle it with patience, understanding and problem resolved. It didnt take a week, a month, they addressed the issue the same day. The issue was, when the car was delivered, it didnt meet my standards and two days later I had another car, no run around, no questions asked. I suggest, when you use their service, understand these are used, pre-owned cars (no different than if you purchased from a dealership). EXCEPT, at a dealership, you dont get 7 days to return, you get 3 and thats after they give you the run around and make your life hell. I dont buy used cars BUT this was the best car experience Ive ever had and Ill definitely use them again. If you read most of the negative comments, nowhere did they mention their issues were addressed and resolved (which Im sure they were) all they did was complain. I say, judge the company and experience for yourself!

Absolutely horrible post purchase experience. Let me explain to you something - there is major benefit to buying a USED car from ONE person at ONE dealership versus having to continually repeat yourself to so-called “advocates” via 1-800 number every day as I try to navigate the process of having over $8,000 of repairs approved on a car I bought 8 days ago - so called “Carvana Certified” and 150 point inspected.AS IFThe 2016 Mercedes-Benz E350 I purchased is a quart low on oil, has dirty filters, worn tires, a broken center console, a back window I can barely see out of it the tint is so distorted, shakes when braking, is leaking oil from the timing covers, and the drive shaft flex disc is cracked. I strongly encourage you to look elsewhere - I believe this car was made to look pretty and shipped out with the hopes nobody would put it in the air and really see what’s going on.The inspection I was given says this car “passed” in all areas and shows no detail as to what was actually done if anything before I purchased this car.I’ve spent HOURS on the phone trying to get clear communication and speak to someone above an advocate. Everyone is friendly and simply encourages I return the car. I am not interested in returning the car. I just want the car I bought and like to function as it was promised to me it would.I’d like to note this is the second car I’ve purchased with Carvana and I’m absolutely floored at how difficult it is to get anything done or get a clear answer. I’m on my 3rd day of my car sitting on a lift waiting for some type of answer from Silver Rock, Carvana’s warranty administrator, to hopefully get my car back and start enjoying it again.If anyone from Carvana actually cares, you can see my VIN in the attached photo outlining the issues with my car and please do call me ASAP so we can get to the bottom of this.BUYER BEWARE

We sold a vehicle to Carvana and found the experience to be easy and painless.We plugged in our vehicle information online to their website and got an offer immediately. We did this with two other online car sales companies and Carvana was by far the best offer we received.We accepted the offer and scheduled an appointment to drop off the car. The team at the Austin location had all of the paperwork prepared for our arrival and the checkout process was clear and simple. We were in and out of there in 10 minutes and had a check in our hands.I’m not sure if the process was simpler for us as we had the title from the paid in full vehicle. Maybe if the car you are selling has a note on it, perhaps the checkout process may take a little longer. Not sure.The clerk that assisted us was thorough and efficient and if we have any future cars to sell, we’ll definitely consider using Carvana again.

Purchased car. Delivery date pushed back for two weeks. Unknown reason why the car hasnt arrived. Paid for insurance and losing time on that. Then the delivery day has me taking a day off losing more money.Will be buying my kids first car else where. Would not buy from here again. Id rather deal with a dealership. Took a chance and regretted that. The process is fast but that is the only benefit.

Great place just managed to snag this beauty of a car off the lot. The only bad thing was that I was supposed to get the car delivered but I was asked to drive to the caravan instead. I was like okay sure I’ll just get an opportunity to use the car vending machine, nope I didn’t get to use it so I was a tiny bit disappointed.

Scheduled an appointment an entire week in advance. Got the notification the day before that everything was going as planned (according to them), but that my appointment would be pushed back 30 minutes. Fast forward to today I literally waited a hour past my appointment time, was not contacted by ANYONE, I had to call them and when the service rep tried to call the nearest pickup hub in Austin, GUESS WHAT?! NO ONE ANSWERED FOR HER EITHER! You guy’s own service rep couldn’t get in contact with y’all. I WAS DOOMED FROM THE START. To sum it up… the best part about CARVANA is when you’re not dealing with THEM.

My experience at this site was great. Their practices made it safe for customers and easy to get what I needed.The reason it get 4/5 stars is the gentleman that met me, only got the info about 2 minutes before he can put to talk to me. So he wasn’t sure if I was fully aware of the cars condition. (I knew about the few scratches so it was no surprise) but he brought the car around for me to see. Sadly this means I missed out on the renowned “vending machine experience” that I was looking forward too. I could of had it delivered and saved myself the trip.All in all, great work, helpful customer care, good prices. Will still recommend.

I have spent the past hour trying to send over info for a trade value on a 2020 Tesla. Carvana requires I text a phone number to give additional info.The info they want is a pdf file of the window sticker to show the build. This has to be in pdf format and they won’t accept a screenshot. My fully updated iPhone keeps giving a “not delivered” for the pdf I keep trying to send over.I suggest not wasting your time until they have a way to 1. Upload a document, or 2. Email a document.

June 2021, my husband and I get a VW Jetta from Carvana.July 2021 it’s in the shop unsafe to drive to drive due to a HUGE issue they didn’t catch.September 2021, It’s still in the shop.Thankfully, since it was unsafe to drive we didn’t put enough miles on it and it was covered by Silver Rock Insurance.The repairs were in excess of $3,000 dollars. I’d recommend taking a mechanic with you or taking it to a mechanic within the 7 day window.We did get a huge token to put in the Carvana vending machine…that was not working at the time.

Unfortunately we have not had a good experience with Carvana. We purchased a 2020 Hyundai Kona in May and from the beginning we have had issue after issue with Carvana. The day they are supposed to deliver our car they call and say that they are unable to get the temp tags because it was already issued tags by someone else. A week later they sort that out and finally deliver the car. THEN they notify us weeks later that the car has not been inspected! And now we will need to get it inspected AND also get an emissions test( which is not needed in TX ) overnight the results to them and they will reimburse us. They have yet to reimburse us for this. We did that last month. I still have not received plates for this car and its August! I bought the car in May. And NOW the bank (our lender)is sending us letters saying Carvana has not sent them the title either! This has been the worst car buying experience I have ever had. On top of all this the car AC went out the first week! It is summer in TX. So I am also skeptical of their certification process.

Seems like Carvana can’t keep up with the number of cars they’re selling and they keep over promising on the delivery date.My delivery has been pushed back two times, first time three days and the second time two days. Fingers crossed I finally get to test the pickup service on Monday.If you can avoid using Carvana in Austin, go anywhere else!

I purchased a Subaru Forrester from carvana in March 2021. In July 2021 I got a nail stuck in one of my tires. Took the vehicle to get it fixed at a national tire retailer. When they inspected all my 4 tires I was informed that 2 of the tires had the threads stripped so I had to pay for them to be repaired which came to 302.00 dollars more than just the purchase of a new tire. The salesperson at this store said they have seen many cars coming from Carvana with this issue. Some vehicles have had all 4 tires stripped of the thread, so much more expensive to repair all coming from Carvana. I reached out to Carvana and after many calls and several promises to talk to a manager I am still waiting 4 days later with not a peep from anyone at Carvana headquarters to reach out to me to make sure that they adequately train the people that work on the tires of the vehicles they are selling. The tire store stayed open for me after their closing time because it was unsafe for me to drive anywhere with my tire issues since I drive mainly 70 to 80 mile an hour highways to get home. So disappointed with Carvana in not addressing such a LIFE AND DEATH MATTER SO IRRESPONSIBLY. The purchase was great but the help after a purchase is A NIGHTMARE AND HORRIBLE.

I had the BEST experience buying from Carvana in general, but Graydon was an absolute gem!!! When I arrived to pick up my car, he said he had heard I just moved to Texas so he thought he would get me a few Texas treats and had put some Texas-shaped chips, salsa, and other sauces in my trunk for me. It was the sweetest touch and really meant a lot to me! This process was completely seamless and I cannot thank Carvana and Graydon enough!!

It’s not necessarily the people at this location I’m necessarily 100% upset with. It’s Carvana period. My mom gave me money for the down payment for my birthday because I needed a car bad. So I got a Nissan Sentra. Beautiful car. Had a few scratches but no big deal. Ran smooth and was comfy to drive.Fast forward to March of this year when I got into a bad car wreck and my car was totaled. If that wasn’t upsetting enough. As my mom went to the salvage yard to get my things out with my son. My son found a paper from the same place as where the maintenance was all done. It had been flooded bad. To the point they even told me that it was under water for a good while. Should have been on the car fax, especially because the car went through the previous owners insurance.Funny how all the maintenance from the dealership and dates where on there but however it wasn’t on the car fax. They were shocked not only did the car not be on the car fax but was sold period. Which in the state of Texas is illegal. So I feel not only did I waste money with them but feel they are complete liars. I was gonna look to get another car but after I found out what they pulled I would never . So just because they give you a car fax. Check it out thoroughly. Wish I had because I would never get another car from them ever. No matter how desperate I become for a car and which I am but not desperate enough to buy a car from liars and con artists. Waste of time and money.

The registration process has been a nightmare. They constantly asked for a OBD inspection to be performed to get the car registered. The ODB is part of the annual inspection I have already summitted but they can not get their heads around this. There is not a shop in town that performs just an ODB inspection. Incredibly frustrating that this large of a company can not figure out to get cars registered. Being this poor with details makes me wonder what else they are doing wrong that I may have missed. Will not buy from them ever again.

I was in the motion of purchasing a vehicle and after I explained the change in position they asked for an offer letter to prove the increase in pay so that they could finish my application and get me approved but upon sending said documentation they proceeded to decline me stating that since it is not a pay stub of which Ive sent multiple in of, denied me my car because of their own ignorance and incompetence I will no longer be purchasing any vehicle from this dealer

Paid the premium price for the delivery experience and the 150 point “inspection”. All passed and looked fantastic. Except... I woke up to an oil leak in my garage day one. My final review will depend on how Carvana answers this problem. UPDATE: Carvana picked the car up without any hassles or costs to me so that was a pleasant experience. Overall, I was happy with the experience but not the car that was delivered to me.

Easy to navigate and narrow your search. Once you have a car picked out, the check out (buying) process is very easy to navigate. I was able to reserve a car before it was ready for purchase. Once it was ready I was able to see pictures of the car before anyone else. The pick-up process is also very straight forward with the advocate right there with you the whole time. With the current COVID situation going on in the world right now it was nice being the only customer in the dealership when I picked up my car. Highly recommended CARVANA to anyone.

(To clarify Carvanas response to my review, I did not decide to move forward with my purchase. I am stuck with this car because my numerous attempts to work with their self-serving advocates proved to be a waste of time. I will never use or recommend Carvana again.)I repeat: Buy somewhere else or be prepared to professionally inspect and return your vehicle to Carvana IMMEDIATELY!They delivered a supposedly accident free car to us that had obviously been repaired, then we were stonewalled when I asked for more info on the extent of the cars damage. Only after the return period expired (and they had our cash payment) did they admit that both driver side doors and rear quarter panel had been repaired (accident free?). They opened an ASR to see what could be done about it, but never responded and follow up messages we left with our advocate went unanswered.Refusing to be dismissed, I finally got ahold of someone a month later who told me I could take it to a repair shop to have them tear into the car and document the damage. Only then would they begin to discuss corrective actions - even though they already knew what repairs they had done to the car. Making things as difficult as possible for the customer in the hope that theyll give up and go away is not customer service.Then, despite requesting the registration use our existing plates so we would not have to change all of our other registrations (EZ Pass, parking permits, etc.), we were sent new plates and a registration with the new plate number. To fix their mistake, we were told to go the DMV, request them to reissue the registration and, if we had to pay any charges, we could then discuss reimbursement from Carvana!Screw it. To not have to deal with Carvana ever again, we decided to use the new plates and do all of the other changes on our end. But, when I went to put on the plates, we discovered Carvana had delivered our car without a front license plate bracket. They knew where it was going, knew the requirements of the state they were registering it in, but still missed it in their BS checklist. Once again, the onus is on us make Carvanas screw up right and find a way to mount the license plate.Carvana hid behind a meaningless Carfax report to sell us a car they knew was damaged, was missing legally required parts and was registered incorrectly - and then just worked to wear us down when we tried in good faith to address the issues. We would have had a better experience, gotten a better deal and felt a lot better about our purchase if we had gone to a sleazy used car lot!

I sold my car at Carvana. The process is supper fast and transparent. II get a quote online in second. They offered a fair price. It took me about 39 minutes to get the paperwork done. After I submitted the documents, they confirmed the offer and asked me to schedule an appointment to drop off the car. The meeting took less than 10 minutes. They inspected the car, I signed the papers and they processed the payment. It is a great experience. I highly recommend to make business with Carvana.

Been having a horrible experience - no real people to talk to. Wait times over 2 hours for the phone. Uploaded all the documents they needed, then say they dont do lease maturitys within 60 days, would have been nice to know that before. Also claim I need to provide dealer lease buyout info, but bank says they have to call & wont send it to me. Worthless help - taking my business to Car Buyer or Car Max with real humans.

Upon test driving a vehicle delivered to my home, there were concerns after the test drive to which the Carvana staff suggested I return it if its still within the 7-day return window.I took the time to take the vehicle to a repair shop, dictated by Carvana, and have the vehicle inspected. The car ended up needing 4 new tires. I expected this to resolve the concerns with the car, however, the car was still not working correctly. Frustrated as the 7-day return window had expired, I had to request from Carvana to have the window expanded so I could take the car to another repair shop of my choosing to have it inspected again, and at my expense. It turned out that the vehicle would need almost $1K in repairs. I then elected to return the car to Carvana. When staff came to collect the car, I was told that their vehicle inspectors have a hard time keeping up with the volume of cars and miss things on occasion.I dont recommend Carvana for this reason. Beware of your purchases and be sure to have a repair shop of your choice inspect the vehicle upon accepting it for purchase.

If there was a - ☆ thats what I would rate my 1st experience with Carvana. Here I am 1/2 hour after my delivery appointment, and nothing. Called them to ask where was my auto, which at this point I had bought insurance and secured financing plus made a deposit in cash, was told by a representative that my purchase had being canceled. Now I am really, not surprise but shocked. I have excellent credit, and was pre approved so this was really strange. Well after asking who canceled the sale or why, the lady who seems as confused as I was tells me that the car was already being sold to another customer, and that a glitch in the system allowed both of us to make the purchase. Very strange indeed.I am still waiting on them to call me back and see if they can right this very bad customer experience.Update 9/5/20The representative call me back and told me that I will be getting my car after all, she was very apologetic and seems sincere about resolving this issue, which I appreciated. So I had to sign my contract again and finally my car showed up again in the Carvana app. with a delivery date of sep 7 8 am. So now I am without a vehicle for the week end, but its better than nothing ; or so I thought, because at around 8 pm I get a txt message with this: Hi Adrian. We’re sorry to inform you that your Honda CR-V has been delayed as we have identified a concern that is outside of our standards that needs to be addressed prior to delivery.We will call you ASAP to provide you more specifics regarding this issue and talk about your options. Thank you for your patience as we know this is not the news you wanted to read today. 😣 Now lets keep in mine that this is my first time with the online auto shopping business, but I am truly disappointed . Right now I dont know what to make of it. Seriously considering my options and online auto shopping might be out of the game.Update 9/6 /20So I got a call from a nice customer services lady and she tell me that they found a bad rear axle hub in the vehicle and delivery will be delay until Wednesday. This is it for me I can trust this company anymore so I canceled my order. Needless to say that the people I talked to seems nice, but their system of handling vehicle sales needs improvement.

There are more cars available online, then there are to see at the Location, so most likely certain cars are parked off property. There was a huge selection online, and if you dont like having to negotiate with car dealerships then this is a good option for you. The Car Tower idea is cool, but its been used before by other car companies, example the MCC Smart brand which started out in Europe before hitting the US Market around mid 2000s has had a car tower in operation since the 90s. Since Im not a fan of the NO Haggle pricing I bought my recent car purchase somewhere else.

DO NOT BUY OR SELL WITH CARVANA!!! The people at this location are fine. But as a company they are only out for themselves. Tried to sell them my car which had a loan on it- so I know I wasnt going to get much, but my car has great value- worth about 12,000.00 as is. They tolled me it was only worth 5,000 and were only willing to pay 4,055 for it AFTER I pay 5152.00.... cue the problem... they never tolled me they were intending to buy the car FROM THE BANK I have the loan through, not me.So in essence they just tried to have me pay $5000 dollars for them to basically get my car for practically nothing and then turn around to sell my car for $10,000-$12,000 dollars and make $6,000-$8,000 dollars profit from it while leaving me with LITERALLY NOTHING...GOOD JOB, what a way to take advantage of someone already broke,suffering, and down on their luck.Yall are nothing but 💩💩💩Update: Thanks for the reply Carvana Austin(Owner) - but to be fair, I just sold my car to a local dealership for the true value of my car, paid off the loan on it and still pocketed some cash.

We are on our 4th car purchased through Carvana. So why 4 stars? The after sale communications and some of the platforms software issues really stole one star. However, the overall experience really cant be beat and it sure as hell is better than dealing with the charade of a car dealership. Prices are tough to beat and the delivery or pick up is painless. On our last purchase they called and told us that delivery would be delayed for a day as they decided to put a set of new tires on the car. Who does that? Be prepared for some little glitches and if you call their toll free number you will be on hold FOREVER. However, Silver Rock their warranty arm answers almost immediately (go figure). All in all its going to be tough to beat this car buying experience.

Absolutely great way to buy a car. I was worried about the condition of the car and how you pretty much buy it without even seeing it in person. But they give you a 7 day no questions asked return policy. Not only that but their warranty company (silver rock) is VERY good. Took my car I got from them to the dealership and it needed a battery, warranty company paid for it all, including air filters and everything with no issues.

Worst Place to Buy A Car. Bought my car in for service and its missing all the pieces under it. Which they are charging me $800 Carvana/Silver Rock will not cover. This company will needs to close there door if they are gonna treat people like this. Also my temp plates have been expired for days now. They want to blame it on COVID really. My experience: I tried to buy a Volvo XC40 R-Design. They day I was to pick it up, I caught them trying to sell me a lower trim, and had to reject the car. The second card I tried to purchase, they delayed it a day because they accidentally cancelled my order because I was wondering if I could change it from pickup, to drop off. Then the day before delivery I get an email saying its delayed another 5 days. At that point I cancelled altogether. Just bad customer experience. I appreciate them trying to be nice, but actions speak louder than words.

I ordered an escape and scheduled a delivery date, on the day of delivery I received a text stating the backup camera had come off the mounting bracket. They offered three choices,1, I could take delivery, they would open a work ticket and I would take it for repairs. 2, Carvana would repair it and reschedule delivery. 3 I could choose another vehicle. I chose to reschedule.On the morning of the second delivery I get a text stating the car had an oil leak.I decided not to purchase from carvana and not just because of the repeated delays but also because 1, if a car is sitting at a dealership the dealership is not listed as a current/past owner on the carfax and with the delays I wanted to review the current holder if not a owner and see if attention to detail has always been sub par. 2, Carvana doesnt take delivery of a vehicle until the day they deliver it to the buyer so Im not sure who does the 150 point check of the vehicle.

Not only did they offer 1k over any other person or dealership but we were in and out within thirty minutes with the exact quote we were offered online!Would 100% recommend selling to Carvana for anyone in the market for a new car. I found their website to be user-friendly and the process did not take very long at all. Their website provides everything you need to know about their specials, inventory etc. then they have the link option on their website as to how to connect with the sales person. I also love the fact that unlike most dealershps they only do a soft credit check instead of a hard credit inquiry. great for not affecting your credit rating in a negative way!

Just returned after completing the sale of a car to Carvana. The process was amazingly streamlined all the way from the web offer to submission of documents to scheduling and drop off. I just purchased a 2011 Chevy Corvette from Carvana and my experience was well below my expectation. The car was advertised as being low miles, which it was, (30,000 on a 9 year old car) and to be in excellent condition. The day it was to be delivered, August 7th, I received a call about an hour before they were supposed to arrive and told the clutch had gone out and they were taking it to the shop to be repaired. this was not Carvanas fault and I appreciated how quickly they put the car in the shop. However, they took it to a Firestone Auto Care, instead of the Chevy dealer that was literally next door to their vending machine lot in Austin, Texas. Look it up on Google maps and youll see what Im talking about. This is where the story starts to turn. The car was in that shop for almost 2 weeks and I was told repeatedly they were replacing the entire clutch kit, which seemed odd on a car with only 30K miles, but figured better them than me to pay for it. Anyway, instead of now taking to the dealer next door - literally - they took it to another Firestone car care further away and it was diagnosed as a master cylinder failure. They got the part on Friday the 21st, two weeks after the scheduled deliver and finished the work on Sat. Again, I dont hold the clutch (master cylinder failure) against Carvana; however, their choice of shops was unacceptable and they should have used the Chevy dealer, IMHO.The set up delivery for Monday the 24th, and the car showed up at 4 pm as promised . Michael was the delivery driver and he was courteous and seemed knowledgeable. However, the car was a mess. It looked like someone had taken a damp cloth and wiped down the outside. There were water marks that had been allowed to bake into the clear coat that Micheal could not remove with his cleaning products, they will have to be buffed out and are presently all over the car. This is a Corvette that has been well taken car of and driven sparingly and it was super disappointing to see how awful it looked. Michael offered to give me a $100 gift certificate to get it cleaned, which wouldnt have even paid for a good wax job, not to mention the buffing out of the water marks. I also found other damage to the vehicle which they had not disclosed, and this is the part that earned them 2 stars, several large paint chips and some plastic molding that needed to be repaired. Again, to their credit, they got me in touch with a body shop - not one of my choosing, but their insurance group Silver Rock states they are going to take care of the issues. Well see, but at a minimum, Im going to be without a car for some time while its in the shop getting the repairs Carvana neglected to identify. Bottom line, I had my dream car sitting in my driveway and I should have felt like a little kid at Christmas, and I guess I did, but I was the kid that got socks and underwear in my stocking! I wont be using Carvana in the future. They priced this car at the top of the market and I expected to get a car that reflected that price, and I did not. I should have sent it back after the 7 days, but I love the car, it drives great, but looks hideous. Im hoping the body shop comes through for me and a good detail gets it up to specs. If you decide to use them, be sure to get more pics than what they post only and do a thorough review of the vehicle when they deliver. Best of luck! Update: just lowered to 1 star. The body shop was not able to fix the cosmetic issue with front end and they put in for a supplement and were denied. Carvana clearly states they would make this right so I trusted them and took possession of the vehicle. Big mistake! If anything is not up to specs, DO NOT trust they will make it right after 7 days! Have them the car back and have them fix it and then redeliver if that’s the car you want.

If you are on the fence and trying to decide whether to buy a car from these people, DONT DO IT!! It may be easier, but the saying that nothing good in life comes easy has been proven. First, they deliver a dirty car to me with an empty potato chip bag on the floor, dirty windows, and stained carpeting. Then, after driving the car, I hear a lot of road noise so I take it in to have it checked out. It turns out the tires are worn to 3/32 and 4/32 and need to be replaced. A couple of days later, the brake wear indicator light came on saying that the brakes needed to be replaced. Carvana pretty much told me they would not fix the items because they were considered wearable and that I could just pick another car if I didnt like the one I had. I had searched high and low for this exact car, so I had no choice but to make the necessary repairs at my own expense. $1600 later for new tires and brakes, and another $175 for a proper detail, the car is now acceptable and safe to drive. Fast-forward to today... Now my temporary paper plate is expired and the permanent plates have not arrived. I went by the Carvana location here in Austin to get an updated paper plate, and they said they couldnt help me. One guy there told me that I had to go to the DMV and stand in line to request an extension, again at my own expense. The other guy there suggested that I park the car and not illegally drive it until my permanent plates came in the mail. So much for a solution! Needless to say, I will not be purchasing another car from these people ever again.

I am so glad I pushed past the trouble I had with the initial selling appraisal quote getting constantly reduced as I attempted to update my information. Theres obviously a rudimentary algorithm in place that penalizes customers for trying to play with their quotes. This is a serious turn off. There isnt enough information on the selling process presented as the process is begun, and as a result the idea of making a deal with this company feels very flimsy without challenging the intake process. When I recognized the overall merit of the company, I was able to push past the initial frustration and 30+ minute phone wait times (internet chat is much quicker, but also limited in what can be accomplished). This was an excellent choice since the rest of the process was easier than any of the other 6 experiences I have dealt with around buying or selling a car. Carvana has employed thoughtful, considerate employees and their attention to customer service is incredibly appreciated. I highly recommend this company, though there is some serious functionality issues that need to be sorted out with their website appraisal quote system.

Im not a fan of the car buying experience. Since Carvana had the car I was looking for, I decided to give them a shot. Overall, it was a very easy process. For most buyers, everything can be done online. However, my trade was worth more than the car I was purchasing, and this seemed to cause some problems with the Carvana software. After a couple calls to customer service, everything was fixed, and a check for the overage was waiting for me when I picked up the car. When I picked up the car, it was ready for me on-time. Within 15 minutes of walking into the Austin location, we were ready to start our test drive. While on the test drive, a Carvana rep checked out my trade. Much to my surprise, there was no haggling over the price of my trade, they simply gave me exactly what I was quoted on the website (which happened to be over $1000 more than anyone else had offered). From the time we arrived at the location to the time we completed all paperwork was less than 45 minutes...good luck doing that at a typical dealership. Based on this experience, Ill definitely look to Carvana for any future used car purchases.

The first car I bought the check engine light came on the next day. I exchanged it for a similar car. They lost the paperwork for the new car and 6 months later let me know. They send new paperwork and ask to have it sent back. They ask for me to get the car inspected because they failed to before I bought the car. This whole process has been a nightmare.

Had my own financing and didn’t feel like the hassle of the dealership so I found a car on Carvana and started the buying process. The salesperson called me right away and basically he was pushing me in a phone call to finish my paperwork. The website said one delivery date and then he said another and another. They wouldn’t take a general power of attorney said it had to be specific. Same power of attorney was used to buy a car in the same state and two other dealerships confirmed a general was fine for the car buying process. Same hassle of a car dealership except you don’t get to test drive the car before you buy it. Experience with them was not good and don’t intend to try them again. Also the salesperson kept stumbling over himself..didn’t make me feel very confident about their process.
