I recently purchased a new truck from Covert Ram in Austin. I must say I had an overall good experience, I am always stressed in those situations. But working with Max was great, he didn’t try to up sale me or push me into anything that I didn’t want. He was very friendly, personable and understanding of my needs. I went to multiple dealerships in a fairly large area, and walked out of all of them except Covert. That’s due to Max, I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a new vehicle go to Covert and ask for him, he will take care of you and make you feel good about your purchase.
I am so happy with our service from Covert. I have remembered going to dealerships for hours on end with my parents in the past waiting and waiting for things to be done. This was not that experience on my own officially this time. I wanted to give a special shout out to Matthew N. for helping us (My Husband and I) with our lengthy email communication and all my special requests to get my perfect dream car the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4xe together the exact way I wanted it built and got it ordered.Not only did he/Covert make this experience a breeze and so fast and stress free. But the never once belittled what we wanted but only helped me better make decisions that fit my experience/wants. I will admit they were not our first choice. We went all around and knew there were some dealerships in the greater ATX area we were NOT going to deal with based on prior Jeep service. We had dealers shun us off and not even talk to us, we had them talk down to us about our own Jeep knowledge - that we have done years of research on, and I even had one guy tell me that this was NOT my dream car that I should look into something else. Mind you I have wanted a Wrangler since 2013.I am again SO GLAD we found Covert and had Matthews help - everything has been so simple and made my first actual new car buying experience the best! Even the finance lady we had was such a blast!I would recommend them over and over again!thank you!!
I bought my dream car a few months ago. It wasn’t the best follow up on the sales mans part, but the service department got to note on great customer service thankfully. Samantha was amazing and kind and attentive and and and…All the things. Very helpful and she listened to Me. She was great.
Bernardo helped me order my dream Gladiator. He kept me informed of expected delivery date and handled all the financial stuff when we showed up, we just had to sign documents. Then Jason Whited had wheels, tires and lift ready for install when the Jeep came off the truck. Thank you. Turned out better than I had imagined.
I would give less than one. My very first call to this dealership, and I TRY to explain to the salesman what I was looking for. He then proceeds to ask why do you need that?, what are you going to be doing, towing, loading, hauling? That is irrelevant it does NOT matter what I want to do with my truck. Then he proceeds to tell me that in 95% of his daily life he doesnt need or use it so why should I? I started to explain, at this point Im already frustrated by the third degree line of questioning, so I stop and say good bye Sir. Now Max, you really should not be telling a customer that wants to buy a truck from your dealership, what they do and do not need, nor should you be questioning them on their personal lives. My money is of your concern not my life. The young mans condescending attitude and pressure tactics are a GREAT example of why the auto industry is despised. I cannot recall the other salesmans name, he quoted me a price I said it was too high, I asked about fair market value, he told me good luck, and when youre not able to find it, come back and Ill be happy to sell you ours. Well you know what I DID find one, and it will NEVER be one from your lot.
I had a great experience with Carlos and Kristi! They are both hard workers!! I did a KBB instant offer, and Kristi wanted me to come in to get a trade in value. I already found a Jeep at another dealership that I like and had a trade in value from them. Kristi told me, it would be worth my time I was very skeptical, but was blown away at how much they offered me. They just got the trade in for the Jeep that I wanted, and it hadnt even gone through service yet. The jeep needed a part before they would sell and so they got me into a loaner in the mean time. It took longer than expected since Covid has messed up logistics. Covert took care of me and had my car detailed and cleaned when the part arrived! I have already referred a couple friends looking for cars to them, and I highly recommend to anyone looking to get a new car! Great job guys! I love my Grand Cherokee!
I have dealt with many dealerships over the years. in 2019 I was in the market for a Ram 1500 and went to Covert Chrysler for this purchase. I had the opportunity to work with Bernardo Vasquez for this purchase. This was by far the best experience I have ever had over my years. Bernardo is hands down the best sales person I have ever worked with. I was recently in the market to upgrade to a 2500 Ram and again I made sure to go back to Covert Chrysler for this purchase. One of the best service experiences Ive ever had! I went for an oil change, full synthetic, and the price was the lowest Ive ever gotten, anywhere. The job was done correctly and in a timely manner. I had been going to another local five star place for years, but the last change the other guys did was bad (not mentioning names, but those dolts left my oil filter half way off and leaking!).The service writer at Covert, Walter, was knowledgeable and honest. His estimate was accurate and fair in both cost and time. To me, this is pure gold. Its true, you can go somewhere that might be a little faster, but at the end of the day, it matters more that the job is done right. I will most definitely be taking my vehicle back to Covert.

He was less trying to sell us any car just to make the sale, but rather he truly wanted to know what would meet our wants/needs. When the initial cars we looked at didnt meet our expectations, he continued to stay in touch, in a low pressure manner, with other options. I had the best experience buying my car. Eric Hernandez made the buying process so easy. Literally I was able to continue working and he did everything and kept me updated. He finalized everything, sent me a txt that we are good to go. I went in, signed papers and bam, done. Huge shout out to Sandra the business manager. Took my 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee to Covert for scheduled maintenance & was thoroughly pleased. The service tech, Diego, met me right after pulling up & asked me what I was there for. Diego provided me a time estimate to complete the service & I then waited inside the very nice waiting area. In less time than Diego told me my Jeep was ready. The inside was left clean with and no oily smell like some auto shops leave. Ill keep bringing my Jeep to Covert for 1st class service - Im always satisfied!

Worst Experience Ever. I am not a hard person to please and I am not easily angered. I actually went in with very low expectations because Ive worked in the industry and I understand how hard it is, but..... despite my low expectations I was still highly disappointed. I had my vehicle towed in due to overheating and failing to start. They got me in very quickly and after a $2300 price tag, got my vehicle back to me in less than a week. When I got my vehicle back numerous pieces of trim were not secured properly causing one of my fender flares to completely fall off during driving. I immediately checked the other fender flare and it wasnt installed properly either. I still remained calm, things happen, mechanics have it hard enough. I return to the dealer and explain to them the situation, my advisor starts to blame me for the issue less than a day of my vehicle being in the shop. I finally asked to speak to a manager and he immediately took responsibility for the issue. He raised the hood on my vehicle and we found even more parts not installed correctly. The manager was embarrassed and assured me the issue would be resolved. No reason for me to be upset, sh*t happens. I leave the dealer after they order parts to repair my vehicle. I go to pick my parts up today and the advisor gets them for me. I get the parts and they arent the correct parts. At this point Im done with the dealer, Ill replace the missing parts myself. Combine my experience with the overall lack of friendliness and professionalism( my advisors pants literally were below his bottom) and I think Im officially done with domestic car brands. I love Dodge Jeep Ram with all my heart but to spend the amount of money I did and receive this kind of service, I think my money is best spent on another brand. I say this because Ive never had a good experience with domestic brands. This is by far the wort.
Oh, where to start...Covert gave us the WORST automotive purchasing experience we have ever experienced. Covert tossed every good old fashioned dealership scam just short of charging us for undercoating. They didnt even fill up our new 63k dollar Ram truck. Our salesperson Bernardo even mentioned how things have changed. Un-returned phone calls, missed appointments. PLEASE run away. This place is obviously resting on his laurels.
Make sure that you wont need to speak with a human after you purchase your vehicle. I purchase and paid off my jeep and no one in the finance department will answer the phone or respond to my messages. Im due a refund of gap insurance and the extended warranty I purchased. My sales person is no longer there and I can only imagine why. I went to the website and started a Chat. I was assured that someone from the finance department would get back with me immediately; only to get a Bot that keeps sending me emails about the great financing available. Such a joke! I guess Ill have to make the 3 hour drive to speak with someone in person. Customer service is just as important after the sale.

Most consistent car dealership in Austin. Each visit will be bad. Today I was informed that the inexperienced tech messed up my truck. I’m done with this place I’m picking up my truck tomorrow and taking it somewhere else. I was told 3 to 5 days to have it checked it was 10 days. They are scamming me for repairs that are not needed and not related to the issue I brought it in for. Warranty is not gonna help you at this place. My Ram truck has been wonderful but the service at this dealership has convinced me to never buy a any product from this company. I have bought many dodge and jeep products but never again. Mostly I will never buy from any covert dealership again after you pay for your new vehicle they are done with customer service
I had to take my Ram 1500 in for an oil change yesterday. From the time I called and pulled up, the service was excellent. Diego, my service advisor was absolutely lovely. He was thoughtful, thorough, and courteous. Additionally, the facilities are clean and the service quick. I adore great customer service and this was definitely that.
I havent seen my car in over a week. The list of things that need to be repaired continues to grow with each passing day. I am almost to $4,000 to recharge the AC. I feel like I am being taken advantage of.6/9 - still waiting for update - day 8 without my car. No one ever returns calls.

Bought my Durango at Covert in 2017 and have had good service experiences throughout my ownership -- the Express service lane allows you to get oil changes and basic maintenance without an appointment, service advisors dont pressure you to get services you dont need, and staff has always been friendly and knowledgable. Thanks to Diego for his help during my last visit.
Purchased a vehicle from covert 5 months ago, the vehicle needed a new battery. Dropped it off on a Saturday and got a call on TUESDAY that its nearly 800 dollars to replace the battery with labor and the diagnostic charge. Not to mention they were out of loaner vehicles because they are only giving them out to warranty clients. (Which I have full warranty) so that cost me another $300+ dollars to purchase my own rental. Feel free to do business with them if you dont mind paying $1100 total for a battery that cost less than $200. This place is a joke.
We have been 20yr plus customers and have not considered taking our Chrysler’s and Jeep’s anywhere else for service. Needless to say we’ve had several Service Advisors over years … Brittany Baird hasn’t disappointed. She’s gone over and above! Also, hats off to Mark Webber & service for being on top of things.

My second and final experience with this dealership. The first visit resulted in failure to disclose the full amount due at the time of payment for spark plugs, air cabin filters, etc. The Usual tune up. My second visit resulted in this dealerships failure to properly install the spark plugs and a faulty one as well. This dealership (service dept) attempted to advise me that I needed a new A/C Condenser ($600+ labor). Of course I knew it was only an engine coil & a faulty spark plug that was causing the issue. I even spoke with an extremely rude individual, the Service Mgr, an Eddy who proved to be just as unknowledgeable as the techs working on my vehicle. I can only assume that this dealership assumed because I am a woman I would have no idea what my service issues were. Definitely wrong. As a CEO of a business management and development agency here in Austin, TX, I can honestly say this was the worst b2c experience I have ever encountered...TWICE. Needless to say they failed to repair what they never fixed properly the first time, and wanted a labor fee of $150+ to correct their own mistake! Rarely do I post negative reviews for a business, I encourage corrective action, but as a 30+ yr consultant I must make the consumer/customer aware of this dealerships business practices. Simply horrible.
Ive been here a couple times now with my Ram Promaster van and my service advisor Diego has been friendly, professional, considerate and knowledgable both times! Ive had some bad experiences with mechanics in the past, but this place is of a higher caliber. The mechanics know their stuff and always provide plenty of updates on the work being done or anything they see that needs work. Definitely recommend!

Carlos and Max walked me through their new Exchange Program, appraised my car and picked out a new one all while respecting my budget. Jason helped me pick out a nice color to paint my rims and Peter explained all the financing details in terms I could actually understand.You name it, they can do it for you. I can guarantee theyll do it with a smile that reaches their eyes too!

Dwight Pullmann was my sales consultant and Peter Prescott was my finance manager, and both were friendly, timely, available by phone and text, and helpful. Most of all, Dwight worked with me on price and Peter did not try to push me into extra warranties or services that I did not want. A class-act dealership.
I recently visited Covert services in N. Austin. I pre-diagnosed that my trailer light wiring harness was never taken out of storage mode. This job takes 3 minutes and a few clicks of a mouse to complete. IMO, this issue was Coverts fault for selling me a 4x4 with a tow package that wasnt activated. They had my vehicle for 2 days and charged me $197. The roughest part was that a technician called to say he figured out exactly what I told them the problem was, and described how easy it was to fix. Needless to say, that $197 bill cost them any further business from me. Do yourself a favor and drive to Houston for your next vehicle purchase.
If I could leave zero stars I would. I made an appointment for my Jeep Compass for an alignment because I just had a lift kit installed. I let them know it what kit it was and they said they could do it. The kit that was installed was one Jeep used for marketing a few years ago. I dropped it off and they then had to call my dad who installed the kit to tell them how to align it. Well after $345 it’s still not right and they just keep saying that there isn’t anything else they can do and it’s 6 degrees off on the back left toe. The service manager just kept making excuses about why it wasn’t right. I’m extremely dissatisfied and will never return or recommend anyone come here. They are extremely unprofessional and argued with me about specifics.
We bought our Pacifica hybrid here and have taken it for service a few times here as well. The service dept is always great - we make an appointment and everything is taken care of quickly and efficiently. Would recommend.
Routine oil change and tire rotation while I waited. Great service (Sam was on top of it), and comfy hospitality. Very happy.
Would give them a ZERO star if that was an option. Worked a deal on a Jeep n drove 100 mile round trip. Salesman and sales supervisor said would have vehicle in couple days. Week later they said sorry someone else had a deposit on that vehicle a week ago. They never asked us for a deposit. No wonder they have a 2.7 rating.
Just brought my truck home. Very happy with the truck and especially the service I got from Mike Kozlowski. Priority to going today, Mike spent quite a bit of time sending me numerous pictures and links on different trucks until I found exactly what I wanted. Upon arrival the truck was cleaned and ready to test drive. Mike spent time with my wife and me to ensure we were satisfied with our purchase. I will definitely be back. Thanks Mike!!!

This is third vehicle I’ve purchased from COVERT, 2nd I’ve purchased from COVERT Dodge Jeep Ram. Our experience at the dealership was amazing. We worked with Mike Stangle - he was friendly, funny, knowledgeable and made the whole process super easy and actually enjoyable. We thought we wanted one of the few wranglers they had in stock, but after the test drive we changed our mind to a different version. Mike wanted us to get EXACTLY what we wanted and he helped us weigh out our options in doing so. We built some out with him online through the Jeep website and talked about the pros/cons and how easy that process was, but then he searched dealerships they trade with and found us THE perfect one. We were very lucky they were able to trade to get us what we wanted and not have to wait 2 months on building one out. Mike was awesome, and he has checked in multiple times since our purchase to make sure everything is the way we wanted it. He has truly gone above and beyond and we would do business at Covert Dodge Jeep Ram and with Jersey Mike Stangle again and again! Thanks Mike!!

It was a great vehicle purchasing experience. The communication from Philip to Bart to Chuck was clear and direct. They delivered the perfect choice for me to experience the vehicle for several days. After that, we went personally to the dealership and looked at a couple of different choices. As I said previously, their first recommendation ended up being the perfect selection. We closed the deal with Rusty in less than 30 minutes. The Jeep Gladiator was delivered the next day and looked perfect. In subsequent days, Chuck has followed up and checked on me to see if I had any questions. Like I said a great experience!
Maybe it was because I showed up in the evening but this dealership did not want to get me in a vehicle. The sales rep Matt wasn’t very personable and the offer I received was laughable. I went to the San Marcos Chrysler/Dodge dealership and they1. Gave me +$1,100 more for my trade in2. Gave me a payment lower than this dealership at 50% less money down than this dealershipI’d recommend you go to San Marcos. This place has the inventory but doesn’t seem too keen on making a sale or working with you.

I bought my Jeep Grand Cherokee from Covert in 2015 - they were great. So me going to them for another was no question...Fast forward to 2020 & I have had the worst experience. They sold me a vehicle that was titled to someone else. I purchased my truck in March 2020 & I didnt get tags for it until November. The entire time I had to constantly reach out to them to find out what was going on, with never an answer to what happened. They werent transparent with me nor did they communicate the issues. I was promised compensation for the headaches that I never received. Ultimately the state decided to use my truck as an example & they say that it will be only a 1 owner vehicle (which who knows). But that doesnt change the fact that they promised me compensation that I never saw, they didnt communicate through the process - If I hadnt been reaching out I would have never even gotten notice of anything that was happening regarding the issues. I had to email angrily - to actually GET AN ANSWER. I was promised for my extended warranty cost to be refunded & payments refunded - never saw a thing. They sold me a vehicle brand new when it was titled to someone else. They never disclosed that to me until months later after me continuously reaching out. Its just not right. All dealerships & any businesses make mistakes for that matter. But make it right. They didnt which is why I am writing this. I had expected better, I am disappointed - I will likely never buy from Covert again.

I never once felt like I was being pressured or pushed in any direction! He did his best to keep things easy and simple. Always tried his best to lower the prices and rates as best as possible. I would definitely recommend his service to anyone who asks. Best car buying experience! Manuel was friendly and knowledgeable. After buying a $50,000 used car from this dealership, we had an oil leak within the first week. We took it to our local dealership in Waco to get serviced and found out Covert did not do a good oil change and broke a washer for the oil plug causing the oil leak. We got it repaired and contacted Kenneth Ruiz at Covert on 3/25. One week later and no one has contacted me or provided me with any type of update for my refund request for their error. Take your business elsewhere since apparently they dont care enough to take care of their clients. I would NEVER refer anyone to this business!
They wont take (or offer a very low amount that might as well be a refusal) a Ram Ecodiesel in for trade even dough they are a Ram dealer and they are doing the RAM warranty / recall repair there. Truck has warranty until 120K miles from the Ecodiesel settlement. Salesmen and service advisors are very nice. I guess management doesnt stand behind their products. They are the closest to my home but Ill have to go buy a Gladiator elsewhere.
I recently bought out the lease contract on my Jeep Grand Cherokee. Jonathan made the process super quick and easy! Had a great experience here with Josh. I inquired about a Jeep on a Friday evening and got an email from Josh the next morning to set up a time for me to test drive it. I pulled up and the Jeep was right up front for me. Josh didnt try to upsell me on something I didnt want and I was able to drive off in my new vehicle in about an hour. Easiest car buying experience Ive had.
Wow, I’m hoping Covert calls me as soon as possible. I have a 2019 Ram 2500 I purchased from these guys March of 2020 with 180 miles, due to transportation from another dealer. Truck now has 33k miles and has only been serviced and maintained by dealer. Well here we are historic snow storm here in Texas with my coolant engine frozen when the low was in teens. Correct me if I’m wrong but shouldn’t it be sub temperatures that cause my coolant to freeze..... unless it has a ton of water in it. Why would a brand new truck be delivered with so much water in the coolant?????? I need a remedy and a sales/service manager to contact me. This could potentially be serious damage to my 55k truck.
Best car buying experience! We checked out several different dealerships before making a final decision on a car. We got the best service, price on our trade in, and deal on a car than at any other spot. Bernardo Vasquez was friendly and knowledgeable. He took great care of us and I highly recommend him and this dealership if your in the market for a new car.
I am not one to leave reviews, but I am hoping to save someone else from being lied to and cheated!We just made the mistake of purchasing a new vehicle from this dealership and have had nothing but problems. The price agreed upon by my husband and the sales person by phone and text before purchase was changed to add over $2000 of extras that we were neither notified of or asked about. We had the vehicle delivered due to not wanting to sit in a dealership for hours, and we were not given any copies of the documents for 5 days, despite being promised by the sales person that we would receive them the same day. Our sales person Alan assured us that any price discrepancy would be taken care of if it was not what was previously agreed to. So after numerous requests to get the sales documents for our new vehicle, we get the documents and see that the prices do not match up. They refuse to take off any of the extra fees (except for a $500 key replacement fee that she admitted the sales person should have asked if we wanted and told us about- he DID NOT) and have been terrible at even responding to questions asked on numerous occasions. Chelsea F. is the person who I have had the misfortune of dealing with and have yet to have questions answered, but instead get the runaround repeatedly. We are consulting with an attorney to determine next steps, but this has been a nightmare and I dont want anyone else to have to go through it!
Had a great experience with them. Specially with these Covid-19 issues they made it super painless to buy a vehicle. Javier the Salesman was helpful and was more than willing to ask about negotiating the sales price of vehicle. Peter the Business Manager was amazing and had no problem with explaining every little thing on the sales contract. Did everything by phone and They delivered and took my trade in directly at my home. I Definitely recommend buying from here or even just come on down or call.
One of the worst experiences Ive had at any business. Condescending, rude, and unprofessional salesmanship. I worked with a sales rep for weeks prior to my appointment at the dealership. Flew halfway across the country. Then showed up ready to put my cards on the table and purchase a new vehicle. The staff attempted to coerce me into an $800 monthly payment, with $10k down, for 7 years. This was for a $30,000 truck. Any customer with a 3rd grade math education could tell you thats a horribly insulting deal that doesnt add up.Buying a vehicle is tough and requires negotiating to get whats fair in the best of circumstances. Although, if you are not treated with respect, professionalism, and courtesy; you shouldnt give a penny to any of the parties involved. I encourage anyone who reads this to never give your hard-earned money to an establishment like Covert.
This was one of the easiest car buying experiences I have had. I worked with Michael Kozlowski who helped get a truck from another dealership on the lot in just a few days. He kept me in the loop on the transfer of the vehicle and scheduled for me to come finish the purchase as soon as he had the keys in his hand. We were able to quickly agree on a price and got the paperwork signed in no time. I would highly recommend Michael and Covert!
First off, I can’t even explain my satisfaction with Sarah Rambo from Covert. From start to finish, she answered all questions and worked very hard for our deal. As a person who has been affected by COVID, I had some hiccups that affected my credit. The Covert team worked hard together to get me into my new Jeep. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a new vehicle!
I just purchased my third vehicle from Covert Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. My last two purchases were great experiences. This time, I didn’t think they could top the last ones. I’m not sure if some of the things went in my favor by luck, or my salesman, Wes Tulley is some kind of miracle worker.I stepped into the dealership less than a month ago and wanted to find a very specific color and options on a 2021 Durango. Wes recommended I order one, that way I can get everything I want. I was a little hesitant, but with no pressure and no money down. I thought what the heck. The order would take as long as six to eight weeks, if everything went without a hitch. I was thinking two months at the earliest more like three. Wes didn’t want me to get my hopes up.22 days later I’m picking up the vehicle I ordered, with all the options and colors I wanted.I was ready for the sticker shock, I had a number in my head going in and Wes came back with the total a thousand dollars less than I had expected after tax title and license. Win win.Now comes the dreaded finance people. The salesman get you to the price and the finance person is going to pressure you into every possible extra warranty. I have to say the finance person, Mendy Humphries was one of the easiest persons to deal with. No pressure whats so ever. Signed paperwork, I used my own financing, no hard feeling.I left the dealership feeling great and not like I did ten rounds with a boxer. I know not everyone can have the same experience. But, I ask you give this dealership a try and ask for Wes. Tell him you want the Pete experience. I’m three for three with these people. I plan on coming back.
I have bought six Ram 3500s from Covert in the last 7 years. They have always bent over backwards to give me the best deal and keep me coming back. It’s not just a car dealer but more a part of the family by now. Bart the manager and Bernardo work with me every time to make sure I get what I want. I will continue to buy here and not go anywhere else. I actually live in Houston now and have driven to Austin for the last three purchases. They are that good!
