Thank you, Scott!I have been going to this Christian Brothers location on 620 in Austin for years and have been very happy with their service. Its unfortunate, but after my last oil change, I wont be returning.While in their care, someone broke the oil filter cap on my Tacoma causing me to have to stay longer than expected and then at the end charging me $50 for a new aluminum oil filter cap (the genuine Toyota one was plastic).After reaching out to the Toyota dealership in Cedar Park and finding out they had their own genuine aluminum oil filter cap that was only $38, this rubbed me the wrong way. They broke the cap and I paid for it with extra time in the waiting room and being upcharged for the cap (Toyota would have replaced it for free too). I spoke with someone over the phone at Christian brothers about this situation and was told that these things happen and it was probably due to another mechanic shop not handling the oil cap properly. The vehicle only has 30k miles and this is the first oil change it has received outside of the dealership.This really seemed outside of the usual service for Christian brothers. In their defense, they were respectful when talking about the situation, but no effort was made to resolve it.

I can comfortably say this was hands down the best automotive repair experience I’ve had! From the greeting to the diagnosis and communication all was exceptional. I dealt with Mike, Roger and Josh. Thank you guys. I will be bringing our family’s autos to you guys. Cheers.

From the first phone call everything was great. They listened to my detail request. Repeated it back and elaborated on what I said. Greeted me promptly when I walked in. Told me what they were going to do. Sent me email when my car was ready and it was quick too! Gave me options on what to repair. This place has the best procedure for taking car of your car. They deserve the high ratings they have from many customers.

The shop has taken great care of both me and my car on more than one occasion! They have gone above and beyond and I couldn’t be more grateful! (Mike especially is amazing)

Ive had a issue with a striped out and over torqued drain plug, everywhere I went I was told that no one could take it off. Well that not an problem here, professional, positive, and outstandingly understanding. Got my car in and out fast so thats a big plus! I cant say enough good things about the service at this location! I had brakes and rotors replaced here about a year ago on a Toyota 4Runner and had some recent problem and took it back. Being a female I admit I was nervous about returning with a problem. After an inspection they said the rotors were warped and would replace them under warranty. Everyone Ive every dealt with there has been super nice and pleasant from start to finish. They have a very nice waiting area and get you in and out in a very reasonable time. Thanks for restoring my faith in dealing with auto issues!!!

I tend to do a lot of the basic car maintenance on my own, but when I get in to trouble, Christian Brothers Automotive has been there to save me. Every time I go in, I am greeted and listened to. They have also saved me a chunk of money by correctly diagnosing issues where other shops tend to guess. Their lobby is comfortable, and they can provide a shuttle service while your vehicle is being worked on. Highly recommend.

My family and I have been going to Christian Brothers for years for many reasons. They always have the best service and take great care of us. The entire staff is always so kind, helpful and professional. You never have to worry about being scammed or taken advantage of there. They are the most genuine and honest staff you will come across, which is unfortunately tough to find in the auto repair business. They treat us like family and I always leave being able to take comfort in knowing I got a great value. I feel safe driving my car again, knowing they repaired everything correctly with great care and attention to detail. Came in for an inspection. I was given a reasonable time expectation and my inspection was finished in half of the time I was told. Very personable and professional. I will use this shop again.

Excellent service. Needed a new starter and they installed a new one. Great warranty and the shuttle service was a extra benefit !!

I stopped in for some assistance with AC work. Their parts markup is rather high, but the labor rates are fair. But (just as important) they were personable and reasonable, so they agreed to let me buy and change the part on my own and then come back for a proper recharge. Doing that saved me a few hundred dollars on the overall cost to repair my AC. They’re also fairly speedy. My time with CBA included two expected drop-offs: 1st was dropped off too close to closing to expect them to start on it, but it was still ready the next day. 2nd drop was done in about four hours. I’d use them again if the need arises.

I went there thinking my car had an alternator issue. They ran some test and determined the car just needed a tune up. They are professional, and most important honest. I recommend them to anyone that’s looking for a shop that it’s professional, with quality work and honest.

I brought my 8 Year old car for courtesy inspection before going for a long road trip; They checked out everything and made few recommendations; Very honest people, no unnecessary service recommendations. I absolutely commend their service. No hesitation in recommending to others.

Very knowledgeable and competent. Fast service. Great, friendly staff. I live out of town, and my car broke down in Austin. They made a bad day much better. If I lived in Austin this is definitely the shop I would use.

These gentlemen were extremely professional and helpful! I boomeranged back to the Austin area, and still had my prior county on my registration renewal, they helped me out getting it set up for my new county and saved me a trip to the tax office! They did not push unnecessary services on me, and the price was extremely reasonable.

Christian Brothers was able to get my car inspected without an appointment and in lightning fast time. I was in and out of there in about 10 minutes. Extra bonus, the lobby has power cords for your phone to charge. Small thing, but very convenient. Highly recommend!

Friendly and professional staff. They couldn’t find the appointment that I scheduled online, but squeezed me in for an oil change and state inspection. The only negative is that they tried to say that my cabin filter needs replaced, which I had already done last year, and it only has less than 3,000 miles on it.

My Pal and his great crew here have been a Huge Blessing to me and my family for years. Not just professionally but they are great people outside of work. I cant say enough about the way they serve the community with a service but in other ways as well. Thanks one more time!

One of the most professional auto repair businesses I have ever encountered. Every employee was friendly and welcoming, the waiting area was extremely comfortable. What impressed me most was the absence of pressure to upsell me on additional repairs to my vehicle. Typically I am presented with a laundry list of expensive repairs that I know I do not need as we maintain our vehicles and are able to keep them in good condition for many, many years because we do so. The only suggestion was a timing belt due to the mileage which is a valid concern but had been done within the past year. I was also extremely impressed that none of my settings in my vehicle had been changed! That was a first! I didnt even have to adjust my seat!

Very professional. They gave me a ride to my house while they repaired my brakes. Gave me an accurate completion time range. Was very happy to do business with Christian Brothers. Everybody was very polite. Clean facility & I got a clean car back too.

I made an appointment to come in for an oil change. Everyone was extremely kind, professional, and on time. The facility is clean and comfortable to wait in. At the end they went over everything but didn’t try to suggest a bunch of things that I didn’t need like some other places have consistently done. They also do a free general inspection of the needs of the car and sent me the results of this in a link to my phone. I will absolutely be returning!

Called to schedule a state inspection around lunchtime, got in the following morning. Inspection was quick and went smoothly, service was great. They have a comfortable waiting area, with phone chargers, and some granola bars aswell. They also had a Bible on the table, which I thought was pretty cool. Definitely recommend

I called in a panic on Monday morning after the dealership told me it would be a 3 week wait to repair my AC! Christian Brothers not only got my vehicle in immediately, but also repaired completely by the afternoon. I will use again. Glad I found these guys!

Went in for yearly vehicle registration inspection and oil change. Once notified that I didn’t in fact need an oil, I was in and out in less than an hour. This location is great, really intuitive to your needs, and great at communicating with their customers. Always recommend CBA, I’ve never felt taken advantage of because I’m a young woman and always felt like they take my needs seriously.

Mike, Steven and Darin were fantastic to work with. Mike was extremely professional, friendly, and showed a sincere desire to make sure everything was perfect.....and it was!! Very friendly staff!, if I could give 10 stars I would. I got my belts replaced here in one business day. Dropped it off to them early Monday morning. Got a estimate on the things I wanted service within a few hours, they followed it up with pictures and sent it to me via text. Thats what I call going above and beyond for the customer!!.These guys dont play. They take really good care of there customers. Ive been to quite a bit of automotive shops in my time and dealerships. I have to say these guys stand out ABOVE ALL and anyone else out there. Dont hesitate to bring your vehicle here. I thought these men were very helpful. Especially being a woman I didn’t feel like I was getting taken advantage of. I talk to them about a check engine light being on and told them I was told it was a gas cap. While they were changing my oil I went to go get a gas cap and they put it on for me for free. I thought that was amazing. Will be using them for all my vehicles.

Christian Brothers is a dependable, convenient and satisfying alternative for automotive repairs outside the dealership. In fact, Christian Brothers does excellent examination of the problems and if the company can’t find a solution, with my experience CB analyzed every single electrical detail until they could find the irritating burned fuse. I was unbelievably happy and as far as their other services, they are very good and do not charge an arm & a leg for their work. CB is very reasonable and I would rate them 5 stars.

You can leave your car here and trust that you won’t be ripped off, I tell you more - some diagnostics and minor fixes are at no cost at all! I won’t go elsewhere for sure, since I’ve finally found the place where I can know 1)what’s exactly wrong with the car 2)is it an emergency or can drive like that for a while 3)won’t have to guess whether I’m being lied to about the condition and repairs necessaryAs a bonus you’ll be treated as a dear guest in a small hotel :)

They were extremely nice, professional and knowledgeable about explaining the issue that I had with my coil cylinders...and misfiring. Mike was awesome. I will def be going back if I ever need repairs done.

I can’t say enough good things about Christian Brothers! I’m more or less the embodiment of the cliche of somebody who knows nothing at cars and would absolutely believe it at face value if I was told I need a new engine and it would be $5,000, so I was definitely nervous to go anywhere at all with my meager understanding of “ummm weird car noises please help.” However, the guys here were incredibly helpful and professional, and I never felt talked down to while they explained things to me. David, in particular, was an amazing help over the phone when he called me with a quote, and slowed down to explain everything when I straight up said “I don’t know what that means.” I never felt cheated or belittled, the cost was more than fair, and I’ll absolutely be back for routine maintenance and any other weird car noises further down the line.

The same can be said for Cedar Park, Texas.While I was waiting in the comfortable couch for my cars oil change, they offered me a bottle of water. Its incredible how the layout is exactly like the other location. Its very welcoming. As someone prone to migraines, I appreciated the warm lighting.

Christian Brothers Automotive provides a valuable service in combination with AAA by providing a free annual inspection of some 60 items. They have provided me with peace of mind by finding some minor items that I wasnt aware of.A very trustworthy place for car check-ups and repairs.Their office is nice and quiet and even offers free Wi-Fi.

Car’s battery terminals were in poor shape (corroded, lost contact) thereby car was not getting electrical power. CB gave a fair, correct price & time estimate. Work was done in very professional way, and met my time requirements. Very polite.

Walked in and right away noticed a difference between Christain Brothers and your average auto repair shop. The place is clean, nice chairs, and feels very professional. Took my Car in for a new Drive Belt first thing in the morning and they had the lowest cost quote than any other place that I had been to. Not only that, is they got repair done within an hour or so, and offered me a ride home. 10/10, very impressed, totally would bring my car back again.

They genuinely make you feel like they appreciate your business. Its is easy to get an appointment, and they keep you informed if there is an unexpected problem with your repair. I find their prices reasonable and completive. I have had one instance where, after repairs were made, i had to return. They immediately worked me in and corrected the issue ( a hose came loose) I highly recommend CBA for your auto repairs.

Our Mustang was puddling water on the floorboard and we couldn’t figure out why. Dropped it off around noon, and by 3pm they had called us and told us that there had been a clog in the ac drainage due to leaves etc. They unclogged it...NO CHARGE! :) They also told us it was a difficult place to reach to be able to maintain on our own, and they would be glad to do that for us now and then. From 3 high rated auto services in town and Christian Brothers did the job and did not add on any extra charges that the other repair shops seem to come up with.They were 500 dollars cheeper!!!! Theyre trustworthy and their customer service is outstanding, often providing complimentary rides when you drop off.Recently I had them check an AC issue that was out of warranty and they went the extra mile to take care of me.Mike is an outstanding service writer, he went above and beyond to see that I was taken care of. Christian Brothers will be my mechanic for as long as I own a car.

Good service a little pricey compared to benz service?

Took my truck in because a wrench engine light was on. This indicates an issue with transmission. They ran it through their diagnosis and presented a few options for service. They were professional and prompt in their work. Ultimately they referred me to another place and did not try to push me into their services. Will use these guys in the future.

I needed to check a few things on my car at the 60,000 mile mark so I brought it in. They listened carefully to what I needed and looked at the car promptly while I sat in the comfortable waiting room. They didnt charge me anything for the inspection (which would have cost $130 at the dealership just to get them to look at it). Feels like a very high quality and trustworthy mechanic.

Let’s be honest: everyone feels uneasy about car repairs. They take resources no one wants to use (time and money). However, my experience today was so easy! Darrin and Mike were incredibly kind and helpful. When getting an estimate, I was given an honest assessment and didn’t feel pressured to get anything fixed unless I wanted to. They worked with my schedule, and I had my car back earlier than expected.

Made an appointment and they stayed on time. Was in and out in less time than I expected.

I had my car dropped off at this location for a diagnostic test because my car was driving in limp mode and engine and VSA light were on. Before doing so I called and asked almost every question in the book trying to diagnose the problem myself. I spoke with Mike and he went out of his way to answer my questions with patience ( despite how stupid some were) and made sure to provide top notch hospitality! I dropped the car off at night and got a call the next morning with the problem. Car was ready to be picked up shortly after.

Kind, helpful, honest and professional service. They gave our car a thorough check on our fluids and systems. Our questions and concerns about a sound in our car was also answered. We will definitely be going back for any regular maintenance or repairs.
