Ive been taking my 2006 S40 to Capital V for the past few years. Robert runs a great automotive repair business. Theyve been nothing but honest, professional and friendly. The repairs Ive had would not have been affordable at the dealership. I highly recommend Capital V Connection for all of your Volvo repairs.

This garage is the only reason I decided to buy a Volvo here in Austin. Robert and his staff are competent, thorough, and will explain repairs to you in whatever detail you want. Multiple times I have suggested I will do part of a scheduled maintenance myself and they have given me tips on how to do it and on parts to get or avoid so I dont waste my time. They do not try to upsell you on repairs. Instead, they will inform you of issues you might need to watch out for with the next few services as parts wear out on your vehicle and tell you whether these issues can wait and be monitored or need to be fixed relatively soon. They are reasonably priced and have excellent customer service, always working with you rather than talking down to you. I cant recommend them enough!

These guys are the most honest and straightforward mechanics Ive hired in Austin so far. Ive only taken my C30 in once for a repair, but I will definitely be returning for all future services.Update: 2/27/20Took my C30 in again for some routine maintenance. They got all the spark plugs and some sway bar joints swapped out. Reasonably priced and got it out within about 3 hours. I had taken it in about a month prior to get a headlight lamp replaced. They didnt charge me anything for that. I still highly recommend taking your Volvo here! Great businessmen and mechanics.

I went to Capital V to get a second opinion on a quote from the dealership to replace brake pads and rotors on my car for a lot of $.Capital V is both transparent and competent. They quoted the same work at a lower rate but also explained why it was very unlikely that my rotors needed replacing. They checked it out, called me, and told me exactly how all my rotors looked (fine). They only replaced the pads, saving me a lot of money. Maybe the dealership was trying to get me to pay for extra work since I had no idea what they were talking about. At Capital V, they showed me how easy it is to check the outer brake pad by looking at it (and told me its not so easy to check the inner pad).Capital V explained to me the details of my car as much as I wanted them to and offered quick service at a lower rate than the dealership (they still get their parts from a Volvo dealership). Not least of all, they are extremely friendly. Im going there every time.

Work was done quickly, well, and reasonably priced. The personnel was professional, friendly, and helpful. Have taken my Volvo there five separate times and have no complaints. Took it in for a brake job and was told I didnt need it yet. I was impressed. Dont know what else you could ask for from a business

Wally is so nice! Ive spent several hours waiting in there for big repairs so I have heard him deal with a lot of peoples car issues. He drives the car to find out more about what is wrong. They do quality work on all years of Volvos (only).

This was my first time using CVC. I just had my 90K scheduled maintenance done. I got in first thing in the morning and since I was waiting for the car, they worked on it immediately. I was in and out in 1.5 hours. The price was a lot cheaper than the what the dealer would have charged. The technicians were friendly and I feel like they did an honest job.

No more Swedish Auto, no more Volvo of Austin these are my new go to guys for my Volvo! Fast turn around/day-of service, great prices using OEM parts and very reasonable labor rates. Most foreign auto mechanics will quote you up to 3 times what CVConnection will for any particular service job. Go here first before any major - or minor - repair, or for at least an honest second opinion. Highly recommended.

Robert and the team always do great work and have excellent customer service. He’s my go to Volvo-guy in Austin.

Over-priced. They charged me $220 for an oil change and did not call me before hand to get my agreement before performing the service. The dealer in town Ive gone to before charges around $150 so I was shocked by the price. I wouldve never agreed to that estimate if they had given it to me.

Recommended this place by a friend. Some friend. Took my 98 V70 Wagon in to rebuild head and bent valves...Shop promised to have car done in 2 weeks, but they kept my car for 4 MONTHS and didnt even do all the repairs they promised they could do in their quote and then overcharged me for the repairs anyway. Then when I would call to check progress on my Volvo, I got the run around about the progress. Total Rip Off. And car still doesnt run right. DONT TAKE YOUR VOLVO HERE, PLEASE! nuff said!!!

Perhaps my expectations were high after reading glowing reviews. Im a new owner and looked around after 2 dissapointing interactions with Roger Beasley Volvo (Austin... Better experience at RBV Georgetown).Took my 2009 C70 to CVC for 60k maintenance. They seem to have done solid work, theres just no noticeable difference in the vehicle. Still, at half the cost of what the dealership would charge Im quite satisfied. Just dont expect any pampering like you might get at the dealership (paper mats, nice waiting area, courtesy rides, coffee, or car wash).As a new customer, they could have earned my loyalty better by introducing themselves, showing me the shop, or at least feigning interest in customers or their vehicles. A little of that goes a long way.I had had RBV Georgetown do a thorough inspection before purchasing my car from a private party. Was pleased that CVC didnt discover anything in their inspection. Makes me believe CVC is an honest shop. (Kudos.) On the other hand, CVC didnt spot the 2 minor things that RBV did find in their inspection. Im not qiite sure what to make of that.Many ancient Volvos here. That seems to be their specialty.

Im hesitant to write this review because they are already soo busy... but if you own a Volvo and you take it anywhere else you are CRAZY!!

They took $400 to fix the AC and after that they told me you have a problem with the Fan you need to pay $700 more, Im not satisfied.
