Bought a car from Ansar here and had an amazing customer service experience! Hes a local austinite just like me. Even scooped me up and brought me to the shop when they completed some cosmetic repairs on the car. Seriously such an authentic and trustworthy guy doing quality work.

I decided to leave now after coming in for a drop-in state inspection. I do understand that they have a policy that you have to stay on premises while the service is being carried out. However, I don’t understand why their representative had to yell at me for asking some questions (reasonable questions e.g can I wait next door until the inspection begins...) . He made me feel really uncomfortable, especially as a woman.

We drove 4 hrs to purchase a Jeep from Ansar. I was the best price in the US!!! I did an insane amount of research on these Jeeps and this one didn’t disappoint!Exactly as described. No hidden fees no run around. Stand up guy. Made us feel at home. I will definitely buy from Capital City again

Great price. Good service. Honest people. The owner, Ansar, has twice diagnosed issues that had cropped but stressed that I could keep driving the car for a year or more before they would become serious concerns that needed attention. You dont see many mechanics turing down an opportunity to make money right now by telling you the truth like that. These guys are my go-to mechanics now.

Exactly what a business should be. Accurate quote, fast communication, easy drop-off, and fixed on-time. My older Honda Accord needed a new timing belt & water pump - These guys were $300 less than all the other shops I called. Awesome. It took several years living in Austin to find a trustworthy shop, and this is definitely it.

I took my car here for a 2nd opinion from another mechanic. The original diagnosis would have cost $5000 to fix at Capital City but I had them run another diagnosis. They figured out it was a much smaller problem and only cost a couple hundred to fix. I appreciated their honesty and diligence, Ill definitely be going back.

High quality mechanics that are honest and willing to give you the advice youd hear from someone you trust. Was quoted almost $1200 from another dealer from the squeaky brake issue I had and come to find out, the issue only costed $300 and didnt need as much as the other dealership was recommending. Overall, highly recommend. Im only going here for car related issues from this point on.

The guys at Capital City Automotive are awesome. They do great work, dont try and bleed you for unnecessary things, and they treat you like a person. Honestly there isnt another place in Austin I would rather go to if I need repairs or work done on my car. Seriously.

Ive been going to these guys for over a decade. I had finally found someone that knew how to work on Subarus. Trying to keep my cars going with miracles and great expertise, they pleaded for me to sell my 2 old cars and buy something reliable, they both had Ive 260k miles on them, instead of throwing my money away. I never thought Id give up my 2006 legacy. But then i was in a car accident that totalled it. If you have to ever be in a car accident, the Subaru responds exceptionally. Ok, now i had to get a car that i loved, for a good price, from a place i trust. I just found it. Not only does Capital City have great mechanics but they also buy cars from auctions. They can do both mechanical and body work on them. They get a handful at a time, and they do sell fast, with a variety from trucks, jeeps, hybrids and lots of Subarus. I test drove the Subaru crosstrek, Forester and Outback. The Outback fit me like a glove. Beautiful condition and shape and its now part of my family. Honest, skilled, up front, good prices and really nice guys. I will be forever grateful to Ansar and Abudi for the peace of mind and support and will miss seeing them, except now for oil changes and regular maintenance, lol.

Out of all the shady things this company pulled over the years, my favorite was when they failed to properly mount a new battery in my car, which came loose while I was driving in morning traffic. After I called to address the problem, I was yelled at and told they wouldnt have time to look at the problem that day.Also one of the guys used to blatantly hit on my ex whenever I wasnt around. Totally professional.

Great Experience! Another shop wanted to charge be double what Capital Automotive charged. They had the part waiting at their office when I dropped off my vehicle; awesome time management! I had to walk from S. Congress to my office at 5th and Brazos and by the time I had got settled it, Capital Automotive called and told me my car was done! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE GUYS!

Abudi and Ansar and great guys and they do fantastic work. I made the mistake of going to different auto shop over the weekend when they werent open and it was a disaster. Capitol City Automotive were able to correct the mistakes that the other guys made and drop a new engine in my Honda Accord for a reasonable price. I appreciate their honesty and fairness. I wont take my car to another place again. Big or small jobs, they get the job done.

I went in just for an oil change but they identified a coolant leak, topped off my coolant and identified a puncture on my rim and they made sure I went to replace the rim immediately before I had a blow out. I felt like they really cared. Thanks team.

Brought my car in because it was making a noise. Instead of trying to BS me and sell me a bunch of fixes they informed me it was safe to drive and personally they wouldnt do anything with it right now. Car has a fair amount of rust on it so they said that was causing the noises but not making it dangerous to drive. Ill definitely bring my car in here from now on.

I have had to get my car repaired 3 times in the past 8 months due to various parts failing. Each time, I have brought it to Capital City Auto, and each time it has been fixed and ready to go on the same day. One time I broke down on a Sunday and got my car towed there and left my keys in the box. I called them at 8:30 on Monday morning and they had already diagnosed the problem and had an estimate for me. They are very friendly, too. I highly recommend this shop.

Ansar and Abudi were absolutely amazing!! I recently had damage to both my front rims and tires. What was a horrible and stressful situation was turned around the moment I decided to come to this shop!! I was comfortable and never once felt like I was being deceived due to my lack of knowledge when it comes to vehicle repairs. Ansar helped me understand the damages and made everything very affordable!! The turnaround for the repairs was pretty quick as well!! My car feels as good as new and I no longer am guessing where I will bring my vehicle in the future!!!
