My car was completely dead and I had to have it towed in to this Precision Tune Auto Care location. They did a quick inspection and identified the root cause as a failed starter and weak battery. I received excellent customer service from Greg throughout who gave me a reasonable price and consistent expectation on repair times. My car was fixed much quicker than I expected!Hats off to Greg and the rest of the team at this location for great service overall!

I love this business! As a woman looking for a mechanic to trust in a big city, this business has impressed me completely. I had such a hard time finding mechanics to trust- a lot of them see a 52 young woman and upcharge, and Id often go to my hometown quite a ways away for help.I approached Precision Tune Auto Care for Inspection purposes, and Greg was great about telling me what Id need to fix before I was ready for inspection. Nothing was done without my sign-off.Then when my power steering was failing, he was able to get back to me sooner than expected with phone calls to give me the estimate (VERY reasonably priced) and completely inform me about what theyd do to help. They do not spare details and were happy to break the problem down so Id understand what was happening completely. I got my car back in excellent condition and with full resolution!I have not met a single disrespectful or dismissive person at this business. Greg made notes and fully listened to what I had experienced and tried to do on my own with my vehicle and took it into consideration in his diagnostics.They approach your problems with empathy and action and efficiency. I will most certainly be going back for any issues I have in the future as well as maintenance.Ladies, if youre looking for a mechanic who wont give you the write-off, try this business and talk to Greg. I called this place after a collision where my car wouldn’t drive after being hit on the front left tire. I was quoted $460 for a bent tire rod plus they could take it go another place for $90 to get it aligned after the repair was complete. They had my car 1day and It was ready for pickup. When I went go pay the bill then jumped to $660. As soon as I pulled out the driveway I noticed a humming sling. It got louder as I drove. I called back and was told the cat wasn’t driven over 40 mph maybe that’s why they didn’t hear it. What seemed odd is multiple times during this entire interaction the manager kept asking when is insurance going to take over, would I be going through insurance. I’ve had a repair shop try to overcharge before knowing insurance would pay. I’m not happy that my repair was not fully checked before my car was released to me, and I was charged more than quoted. Next time I’ll pay the higher tow fee tp go to mayos autoworks where I know they won’t overcharge, and I can trust they will have me on the road safely.

Ive taken two of my cars there within the last 6 months and recently started doing my own oil changes as a result of moving into a house with a garage (finally). When I changed the oil on my truck I noticed that it was way overfilled, oil pretty high up passed the fill line. In preparation of a long trip with my other car that I had taken here as well, I wanted to check the oil level and noticed that it too was filled way beyond where it should have been. For 65 dollar oil changes the least I would expect is the oil not to be overfilled.

First I wanted to address another review on here. It was a 1 star because Cindy was not wearing a mask. There is a sign on the counter explaining she has a medical condition and cannot wear one for very long. But it also says, if you would like for her to put one on, just ask, she doesnt mind. When I have seen her go through the lobby, she does have a mask on. I think she cannot wear one for a long while. I think Precision Tune cares about our safety. They have very tall plexiglass shields on the counter, hand sanitizer, spaced chairs, let you take a chair outside, they wiped down my steering wheel/car. I have been coming here for a while. Greg and Cindy are very professional, but yet, they treat everyone like they have known you for years. They have fair prices and do not sell you what you do not need. I will continue taking my cars here. Thank you Greg and Cindy!

Went for an oil change for my mini copper and the guy doing the job broke my coolant container, and guess what?, yes I had to pay for it, because they said it was to fragile, so the whole thing went to almost 200 dls, had take my mini to other places and this never happened before, I would not recommend this place.

If u want a 74$ oil change u can come here !!!I came here a couple months back to get an oil change for my truck and I liked the price and all(around half the price they charged for my car). I decided to come back a second time. This time around with my car . I left it there for a oil changes round 9:00am, they said they were going to call me when they were done . They never did ! So I got there around 2:00 Pm to get my car and pay, come to find out the total was. 74$!!!!!!!!!!!! For a standard oil change !!!

I really love this place. Ive been twice and I know that theyre my mechanic. Always fast, always informative, and always friendly. And not just to me. While waiting Ive heard them talk to every customer the same way they speak to me and that says a lot. Id trust this mechanic with any issue any if my cars might have.

Gone in twice so far for safety inspection and oil change. They were honest when discussing no need for brake pads and quick for the inspection. This time for my oil change it literally took 10 minutes like it’s suppose to!

These guys have never failed me when my car does fail me! Greg and Cindy are the Mom and Pop Shop business I appreciate. There is a tv and magazines in the waiting area with a cooler of free water bottles. The bathroom is always clean. There is a McDonalds, Taco Bell, and Weinerschnitzel within close walking distance and a Starbucks and Jimmy Johns at a slightly further walking distance. My oil changes always run a $19.99 special. These guys are honest and do quality work. As a woman, I always get nervous about getting screwed over with mechanics and car lots. You wont find that here. This is a family business and they treat people like neighbors.

They never fail to work quickly, with good quality, and the best interest of the customer in mind. Ive never used an auto shop that so consistently produces such quick work!

Had my car in for some routine maintenance and an oil change. They not only got the work done as quoted upfront, but they threw in other bonuses like filling up my tires and applying a couple of coupons I wasnt aware of to the bill. Super friendly and helpful, and all of the repairs were made really quick. After trying out several other shops around town where they either tried to get me to do needless repairs or the service too far too long without any updates, Im so relieved to have found an honest and friendly shop I can look forward to come back to.

I cannot give Precision Tune Auto Care enough stars! They took my car in for a buyers inspection the day I was purchasing a car from the dealership. They gave me all the information I need and Greg was incredibly friendly about the whole situation. They were fast, thorough, explained the information in an easy-to-digest manner, and let me keep my car there over the extended weekend. They are fantastic!

Answered the phone, hung up immediately. I called back. They answered. And wouldnt take 5 minutes (35 before posted closing time) to give me a quote for a tune-up. But rather found it more convenient to just tell me they are closed.

I was just about to call over to Precision to look at an issue with my car when google shows that I was there and had service there last year. I cant remember what I had done but my gut was saying not to call because something was off about them. I decided to read through a few of their reviews and it all came back to me haha.I made an appointment and they said they can service my car early in the morning, so I left my car and walked back home since i stay in the mall area. They said it will only be an hour or two. However, it was taking all day and they kept saying when i called that they were working on it. I decided to get in my other car and drive by.. and here i see my car sitting in the same spot untouched while all of the other people cars that came after was being serviced. I decided to walk in and call their bluff, the lady behind the desk made up an excuse to why its been almost a full day and they still havent got to it. If I would of walked there I am sure I would of taken my keys and left right then and there.At the end of the day with a full day lost I paid and tried to remember to never come back here. Huge bad customer service on time management and empty promises. Thanks google for the reminder, I am going to take my car elsewhere 😁

For months, I drove by Precision Tune Auto on Braker everyday, where they had a sign up that says If we arent your mechanic, we should be!I took them up on that offer after a botched brake job at the North Lamar Precision Tune Auto location, where I had already returned once to correct the issue, I was miserable every moment that I was in my car and desperate for someone to validate that I wasnt going crazy hearing noises that werent there.  I took my car to the Braker Lane location for validation. Was I making noises up?  Had my car suddenly aged 100+ years in one week?  Were my struts and a piece of broken plastic to blame like the N Lamar manager claimed?The manager at the Braker location was awesome.  First, he LISTENED to me.  Second, even though I was not his customer, he put my car up on the lift, gave it a visible inspection but still could not identify the issue.  I asked him to drive around with me and listen to the noises my car was making.  He happily agreed.  Afterwards, he put my car back up and was able to pinpoint the issue.  He told me what it was- even offered to repair it- but I told him that it was not his problem to fix and that I was taking it back to the N Lamar location.  So, instead he reached out to the manager at the N Lamar location with his diagnosis. I cant tell you how much I appreciated this gesture.After wasting my time returning my car to the N Lamar location again, the brakes sounded even worse when I picked it up.  My car literally sounded like it was on training wheels with every bump and rock causing a bunch of noise.  Disappointed, I returned to Precision Tune Auto on Braker Lane and asked for their help.  Once again, I wasnt their paying customer and they were not obligated to help me, but they did anyways.  Thankfully, within 2 hours, my car was back to new, brakes fixed, noises gone.  I couldnt have been happier.Needless to say, Precision Tune Auto Care on Braker Lane is now my mechanic!  The customer service is outstanding and the technical service is as well.  I recommend them 100%.

I always go here to get my old changed. Affordable, friendly, and quick. They also dont try to upsell you on every little thing. It is very convenient to schedule a drop off at noon, eat lunch, and have it ready to go back to work.

I came in to get my oil changed and my vehicle inspected. They finished the oil change in very little time and told me they new my tires would fail me so they didn’t do the inspection and charge me unnecessarily. Greg, the owner, was super friendly and helpful. He pointed me over to the closest discount tires and told me to give him a call when they start the tire installation so he could hold me a spot to get inspected quickly afterwards. Overall trustworthy staff, fast service, and excellent customer service. Will be coming back in the future!

I called around 8:30a to see if Precision Tune Auto had time to look at my car. The check engine light was flashing. They gladly accepted the car and assure me they will be able to get to it today. I called back twice and the lady behind the desk said they are still working on it. I called back a third time around 2pm asking if their was an update or will you be able to look at it today, the tall gentlemen told me he is unsure. Then I asked why didnt they just call me and inform me that they will not be able to get to the car today, and he said thats not his job. He mentioned that it was other cars that took longer and he was doing 3 things at once. I went to pick the car up a few minutes later, and the lady behind the counter was eating a half pint of ice cream and the tall man was standing in front of the counter and just slid me the keys. No eye contact, no apology, no nothing. I dont see how a company can thrive on poor customer service. A smile will go a long way. I only went to this location because it is very close to my job. The service at the William Cannon location is outstanding, This place can learn a thing or two from that location. Plus they are honest. I will be taking my vehicle there and he already informed me on the wait time. This Precision Auto need to have better communication, have more mechanics staffed on busier days, be honest to potential customers, and be friendly. I would never recommend this place, if I could give it 0 stars i would give them a negative.

Many of my family and friends know I am never one to throw a race card. I will say how disappointed I am with the owner “Greg” of this precision lube. I came into this facility today at approx 1:45pm to have my vehicle LOOK at for a potential oil leak. There were two other males behind me. I was told they will bring my car in in about an hour. I walked to the shopping mall and noticed I was there over an hour 1/2 and no call. I went back to find my vehicle still parked in the same place. Greg approached me and said I can get your car in shortly. After two hours, there is no way I would wait longer for you to look at my vehicle. I was handed my key and said sorry. That’s it. So I politely asked if he could at least check my oil level so I don’t ruin my engine. That’s the one star rating. I then looked at previous reviews to find many of the negative complaints are from Minorities. I talked to others on the lobby who informed me they were there a short time and their vehicle was in the bay with no appointment. Of course this was two white makes 😐

A few years back, I took my car to two different garages and they couldnt fix it. One of them made it worse. It cost me a lot of money. Then I brought my car to the Precision Tune Auto Care garage at 2500 Braker and they fixed it!The folks at Precision Tune are always honest with me. They tell me what my car needs and if it needs to be done right away or if it can wait. I feel comfortable bringing my car to Precision. I trust them!

This is my first review of any place ever, but this place deserved me getting onboard and making a review.Ill put it like this, I have a 15-year-old van Ive owned since brand-new. It now has over 200,000 miles on it. I also have a 10-year-old truck Ive owned since new and it now has over 130,000 miles on it.Ive always brought my vehicles to this Precision Tune location and they do a great job. They are fair, honest and straightforward. I highly recommend them not just through my words, but through my actions as a long time customer.And mechanics that work on your car, its the same guys working their for years and years and years. They dont have some high turnover rate with fly by night mechanics.

I called wanting an Oil Change. The gentleman I spoke with was very nice and said if I wanted to come by right away hed get me in and out. Thats exactly what happened. Took them 20 minutes and it was 28.50. He even gave me a $10 discount for no reason. I was very happy with them. I dont believe Philips review is fair. Great place to get some simple work done. They all seem very straight up and fair.

Friendly guys, but they found out that they did not have the right equipment to change brakes on my Audi A7 despite my having scheduled beforehand with the model number. Another location also could not do it, so I ended up going to a German specialty shop. I got good vibes here though, and its probably a good place to take less finicky cars.

Greg is great to work with and he and his mechanics have always performed quick, quality work for a good price. I have taken several vehicles to the Braker Precision Tune location and will continue to do so.

This shop is top notch. Been coming here for years. They have fixed “service engine soon” light in my wifes Mazda 6S where other shops failed. Have gone nowhere else ever since. Most recently they had completely gone over my 1994 Chevy PU with 189,858 miles. I gave it to my grandson for his 16th birthday. I wanted it done right to ensure it was safe for him to drive. This particular location is absolutely excellent. They have taken care of my 2002 Ford Explorer for years and even now at 160 000 miles they continue to understand and perform the appropriate maintenance and repairs to keep the truck on the road safely and reliably. Definately will be back.

My radiator cracked, so I put some water in it and drove here since it was near where I was living at the time. When I got my car back the new radiator was only mounted on one side (instead of 2). Also, my roommate took his car here a while later. They overfilled his tires causing the pressure alert on his dash to come on. Sloppy work overall and not even at good prices. Will not go here again. There are better and cheaper mechanics around.

Very dissapointed with this place. I made an appointment to get a simple oil change and inspection (I also want to mention that I made the appointment 3 days before). I made the appointment because I had to get it done during lunch, which I only have an hour. When I got there, I specifically asked if they could get it done within an hour since I saw there were other people waiting. The guy said yes, it wouldnt be a problem. An hour and 15 minutes later, no one had seen my car and I was still had another car in front of me. Dont accept appointments if you arent going to honor them and dont give me off time-frames when I scheduled it with you! Good location doesnt make up for poor customer service. They lost a customer here!
