Attention to detail on schematics. Stated 4.0 L engine. Gave schematics for 2.7l engine. Although later did get right on other.

Usually have what I am looking for, register / part counter wait lines can get long sometimes. What is frustrating is calling ahead, providing all the information needed to confirm they have the part in stock, stop working at my place, drive there, stand in a 20 minute line to then be told they dont have the part they said they did and the person who was assisting me on the phone and in person really had no clue what they were talking about to which another more experienced employee had the inform them they were wrong and they dont stock the part. If you dont know what you are talking about, cant understand what you are or are not looking at on the computer screen you are not helping, you are hurting the business and the profession of auto parts sales. My time, as any other customer, is very valuable, and we dont need your help wasting it at our expense.

My daughter went in for brakes,went in one store,so they called another store that had tbem,them, held them and we went picked up.Good customer service.

David Soto, the sales manager, is awesome! I had a flat tire on my car but the store was out of the tool needed to remove the lugs. I just had by far THE worst customer service experience I had. From being walked away from, to being yelled at, to the guy smoking basically into my car and right next me, a pregnant lady, when we went outside to look at my car. Extremely rude service guy and just a completely unprofessional environment. Shout out to Melissa who was very kind and helpful on the phone, but she did not appear to be in by the time I finally was able to make my trip to the store a few hours later.

Placed order online for a VW filter that was marked as in sock and could be picked up today. Purchased it waited for confirmation email that I could pick it up. No contact for 2 days just went and got one @ advanced Auto instead.No comments about the issue or failure to produce from the shop.

Telling me it’s 10 and if I have anything else (when it’s 9:50). Eh. Just wanted to give a shout out to Robert at this location. He was very patient and took the time to show me that I was attempting to replace the wrong bulb in error. I am very grateful for his knowledge and willingness to teach me the difference and how I was changing out the high beam bulb when it was my low beam bulb that was burned out. He saved me time and a costly trip to the mechanic. I appreciate that he did not make me feel like an inconvenience and walked me through the steps to make sure I know how to do it on my own in the future. Excellent customer service...going above and beyond makes Robert an employee this location should recognize and reward. It is def what ensures I am a repeat customer. Thank you again, Robert!

I really like how they are able to read codes and test batteries. Expecially in these difficult times. However this is the second time that Ive gone to this location and the attendant misread my battery and blamed the alternator. I got a second opinion from the Pflugerville store, 20 minutes later, and it came up that my battery was indeed bad and my alternator was fine. I get it. Its hot outside. I hate asking as much as you hate dealing with batteries. But please please dont guess a reading if you dont know how to interpret the numbers.

I had a huge build up of corrosion on my battery when I went in to get it tested. Dillon was extremely helpful and nice. His customer service was amazing. Amazing lady working before lunch today. I was the only one in the store at the time getting car detailing supplies, which I typically only online order. However all staff greeted and/or aknowledged I was there. And all had a excellent knowledge about product. Not sure if the store has changed staff or management, most likely both. Well i have seen a significant change not for the better but for the wayyyy better!! Kudos ti the mgmt and staff, instill continue to keep the instore shopping alive😂!!

My power window regulator went out. AutoZone was $99 and ORileys was $40. AutoZone wouldnt order without payment and wouldnt take payment over the phone. ORileys ordered without prepayment and let me pick up at the store.It made me realize that AutoZone had become a habit. ORileys helped me break it.

Ive been here a few times to pick up fluids for my old car and the associates have always been helpful and not intimidating. They have an oil dumping station and can help you run diagnostics if your engine light is on. Decent prices and conveniently located on Parmer.

Nice people who were very helpful. I was traveling through Austin when I had a vehicle issue and had to get some supplies. I always rely on Autozone and was not disappointed- this place did not let me down. I know enough anout my vehicle to get myself in trouble, but cannot always get out of it without some help. I like that the employees listened, helped me diagnose my issue, and did not make me feel stupid.

In short; they typically have the parts I need and the staff are fairly competent. Most of the staff have enough car knowledge to let you know if you are on the right track with your amateur mechanical diagnosis. They can check error codes and lend you tools if you decide to tackle a project outside your toolboxs capacity (sometimes they charge a deposit for the tools).Over the past few years I have needed parts for a couple Fords and a Volvo and I have only had to have one part shipped that was not in stock. There is a female manager there that is great - Karen? I will try and verify her name.A word of advice for any parts store trip... Know the name and, if possible, the part number for the item you need before you go. There will be different brands but having one part number will assure the right specd part.If nothing else, google the part number and brand of the part (as read off the physical part, not the box) you picked up before you install it. A few times over the years - here and elsewhere - I was given the correct part but the wrong part number. This can cause you A LOT of hassle.

Give it up to my man David S. I went in to buy a new battery and it came with a free replacement. This should have been an easy in and out process. But my car is so old and Ive been slacking on taking care of her, the old battery corroded and made it really hard to remove the nuts. David went above and beyond to help me. He removed the corrosion, and even replaced the terminal for me. Im so grateful. David really saved me here. 5 stars all the way.

Had an appointment with another popular auto-parts chain for a simple battery replacement. When I got there, not only did they not have the battery I ordered, but they did not have ANY battery that would work for me. I had to find another place on the fly. I called this Autozone and they told me they had me covered and to head over. Dillon and the team got me fixed up in no time and saved me the rest of my only day off. Seriously excellent customer service.

I literally had the best customer service experience Ive had in a long while at this location. Don really helped me out. I had some wiper blades that I had bought there that didnt fit my cars connection. I had lost the receipt a while back. He returned them no problem, and even walked with me to my car to make sure the new ones were correct. I was astounded. If I wasnt an AutoZone dedicated customer before, well I am now. Thanks Don!

I had a voltage/charging problem with my truck. Took it into AutoZone to have it tested. The employee that helped me was very curtious and helpful. Turned out I needed an alternator. He hooked me up and now my truck is running properly again!! 5 stars to AutoZone!!!

This Autozone is a good one. Helpful folks in there. I went to get my check engine light diagnosed. The woman that was working jumped right on it. Didnt try and sell me anything just gave me a print out of the code.Tip of the cap to that young lady!

I took my old (REALLY old) car battery here to recycle it, and because I had that battery replaced at an Auto Zone (a different location I think), they gave me more money for it. I was pleasantly surprised! The staff was so nice too.

You need to calm down right now this place is usually busy so youre gonna often have to wait for help. Also chill out a bit they got all the regular Autozone stuff dont expect them to have shampoo. This is usually the store I go to cause they have pretty much EVERYTHING like a car Walmart, if you will. Expect nothing less, Autozone is the best.

I especially appreciate that I never felt talked down to, and the staff person I worked with respected my assessment of the problem- which often as a woman in a car parts store I get things dumbed down or people assume I dont understand. Ive visited this AutoZone several times; a few times to get car batteries replaced, once to get a tail light replaced. Everyone Ive worked with has been extremely knowledgeable and helpful. One of the team members even taught himself how to replace my brake light so that he could help me when I purchased a replacement. When things get busy, though, wait times can definitely get crazy and you dont get as high quality of support with the long lines. I would definitely try to stop in during low traffic hours.

Charged and tested my battery for free. Staff is helpful and knowledable. Had Heet in stock for a fair price. Got everything I needed to get my vehicle running in one place.

Well stocked, can order almost anything, prices comparable to on-line with friendly knowledgeable employees.They can check problems, give you repair recommendation sheets and loan tools. This is a go to location!

They usually have everything you could need. An area of improvement could be in the variety of motorcycle oil filter they carry. Although this location isnt the closest to my house, it is the one I frequent the most. The men who work there are seasoned and knowledgeable. Solid place.

This morning on my way to work, my check engine light came on. I took it here after I got off because they could tell me the problem code. I was helped immediately upon walking in. No wait! Told him what I need. He grabbed his reader tool. He was really knowledgeable and actually helped me with info, with no obligations, that I might need for a few other minor issues that he notices. I was happy to have come in!

I had a headlight go out so I stopped by this location to pick up a new one along with some new windshield wipers. Ardi was super helpful and located the items I needed. After the transaction was finished he helped me by swapping out the old with the new for both the headlight and wipers! A fella by the name of Harvey was also fantastic with his senses of humor! What a refreshing and plesent way to end the day with what would have been a not fun time trying to fix it on my own. Thank you guys so much for your help and experience!!

Not happy with this place at all !! I went to purchase a new battery for my car and got duped into buying the most expensive model along with an expensive warranty/5yr. It wasn’t even a year later that my battery started leaking fluid all over my motor and took it back to be replaced but was told by two different employees at two separate times that they had tested it and there was nothing wrong the battery therefore they were not going to replace it. One of the guys was actually a manager and was very rude and seemed annoyed to be bothered. I proceeded to take it to two different mechanic shops and even got a paper in writing from one proving that their testing had concluded it was in fact a malfunctioning battery. After my car died on me for the 3rd time I took it back and had to get very upset with the manager on duty before someone finally listened to me. I showed him the document I had received from the mechanic and that plus my anger finally got me another battery. I definitely will not return to this location and would not recommend this place to anyone.

This Auto Zone is the best! But even better is Hector! Ask for him. Hes worth the wait.

These guys are good... if its not bad enough that you need a mechanic to fix it, theyll show you how to do it. Or theyll do it for you. They had a battery that AAA didnt, so overall the best bet when Old Reliable takes a dump.
