I’ve always been a “if I can’t get it from Walmart I’ll go to autozone person.” Then I decided to check out advanced auto. It’s by far the best place to get stuff for your car, and the difference is the service. The customer service is better than autozone by far, but what made me a loyal customer is thee online experience.They have discount codes regularly that help you save money, and their speed perks give you another $5 off. They also do same day shipping, I ordered some parts at 9 in the morning and it got delivered to me at 12pm, doesn’t get better than that. Thanks Brandon for packaging my order with care.
The staff here was very, very helpful even though I didnt buy anything from them. I will definitely shop there when I am in the area!!
I walked in close, close to closing time (8:50pm) to return a damaged part from another location, hey it happens, anyways very rude manager, named DON just said nope, were closed!shaking his head and gesturing no as well, before I even said anything, my wife informed him that they are still open until 9:00 and we just had to return a damaged part, didnt say anything just called the cops on us! What an upstanding manager! is this how customer service is done now?
Needed a battery....they took a minute or two to find the battery however: the people working there were Awesome!Took old battery out & put a new one in. I would recommend anyone to go there.It was a great experience for me & my car starts every time. Lol 😆

Gladys was terrible she had no knowledge of what she was doing she was super rude and I requested to get my battery tested and the code read for my dashboard lights wow she was a waste of time in this hot weather
Horrible experience and I will never return to Advance Auto Parts again. The manager here would not price match an engine mount from Autozone that they have locally in stock. The mount was 55.99 at Autozone and 69.99 at Advance Auto Parts, the manager only would only drop the price to 65.00. This was completely against their corporate policy Advance Auto Parts will match the price of any identical or substantially comparable product (product must be available the same day) at any competitors store or website. ... The price must be valid at the time the price match is requested. An Advance Auto Parts Team Member must verify the price match.
Place has slow service and they never have change if paying with cash.
I went to pick up a car battery Id ordered online and realized as it was being rung up that the terminal posts were flipped from what I needed. Since I couldnt cancel it, the cashier returned it and went in the back to get the correct model, despite it not showing in inventory. She was extremely patient, friendly and helpful despite the whole transaction taking at least 15 minutes
So im poor or cheap or something like that.when i need a part i call everybody...REALLYADVANCE HAS BEEN WINNING SEVERAL IN A ROW..
Had the worst experience ever. I had placed my order online. It said that in 30 minutes it would be ready. 2 hours later, I went in to pick up. The order was not ready. Associate took a long time to collect the order. She comes backs and says that they didnt have 3 parts that I had ordered. Without telling me that she was going to void the parts. She voided one part that she did hav . She then tells me that I need to pay for that part since she accidentally voided it. I had asked her doesnt the order have to be ready, she said no. Rather than her calling another store to check if they had the parts she told the other worker to call. She didnt tell us anything and started to help the other customers. We just stood there waiting for a response. After waiting there for a long time I told her if she is checking to see where I can get the other parts, she said they called and there was no answer. I told her cant you call and she told the other coworker to call again. After waiting more time, I told her to just cancel everything. She refused to cancel order!!It was a ridiculous long time wasted for nothing. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!
Waited in line for roughly 30 minutes, work literally one person in front of me (no exaggeration.) Usually knowledgeable, expeditious and with the super-late open hours this is my go-to stop for auto parts day or night. Tonight, they performed far below expectations, and far below the bar theyve set themselves in the past. Maybe they are understaffed, but that still doesnt make it acceptable (in my mind, at least) to allow such long wait times for such a short queue. Just. Disappointing.
They were able to order a radiator no other auto parts store in Austin, Texas could.
Help me find a hard to find part
Horrible customer service. Im writing this while Im in the store. Im waiting on a part I paid for at another location. There are three guys and a women behind the parts wall talking. One women (Miriam) working the counter. There are five other people in line. No one is offering to help. The customer service and urgency are just flat out terrible. I talked to one lady (Miriam) who told them I was here for my part. Ive been here 10 Minutes and havent seen my part or had another person even try to talk to me. I will not be coming back to this location.

Thank you Fernando for being so quick even tho he was the only guy trying to knock out a long line. He finally took care of me so quick and gave me great costumer service. Would recommend him to anyone (knowledgeable guy)....7/26/19 came in to buy parts took more than 20 min to get help i see new employees that dont have knowledge on what they are doing and especially two older ladies. They need to hire ppl with knowledge and knowing what they are doing. never again coming to this advance i can say they went down hill.

Another great neighborhood auto parts store. I had the wrong air filter for my car and even without a receipt they let me exchange it for what I needed. Much appreciated guys you guys are great!

Hours online do not match the hours the store is actually open. I needed a switch for headlights. This was the only store in town that had the part right now. Went to the store, arriving at 9:05pm and the store was CLOSED. Again, the hours online say it closes at 10:00pm. Wasted trip from NW Austin!
I will always recommend Advance Auto Parts over Auto Zone. Advance always has very helpful people working there and they will diagnose you car FOR FREE any time without any pressure to buy anything. Cant say the same thing about Auto Zone. Advance always has the part that I need and I have always received good advice from their staff.

They are vastly understaffed, and when I asked them to check my battery, they wanted me to take out the battery myself. I did so only to find out that the battery was not bad. Terrible service.
