I called mid day and the manager said they were extremely busy. I needed a whole set of tires. The manager himself went and verified the tires were in stock. He told me when to be there and he made it happen. I didnt actually have to wait for very long. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. They were able to get me in and back on the road in a very professional and timely manner. Ill definitely be going back.

Bought a new battery and Chris did an excellent job of installing it for me.The battery was priced at a fair price and there was NO CHARGE FOR LABOR!I do not believe you will find a better value for your hard earned money if you are in need of a battery.I bought the top of the line battery with a 3 year full replacement and 2 years prorated replacement for $100...and it was installed for free.As a disabled veteran the free installation was a great value for me.From now on I will only recommend Wal Mart Automotive Center when people need a battery.

Showed up at 9am, they got my truck in at 9:40a, had it done at 9:58a. Mr.Pham at counter was very nice even though it was a rough morning for them. Techs a little stressed as 2 people had quit that morning. but were pulling through the jobs quickly. Only downside was that Carpet Vacuum is not being done (not sure if b/c of COVID or lack of personnel) and that my tires were calibrated to 35 even though their rating is 45-50.Overall, happy with todays service.

I was on my bicycle and stopped in to fix a flat tire. I also picked up a kickstand that I had been needing for months. They were very accommodating, helping me air up my tire...twice!

Everything was alright until I got into my car after having my tires replaced. I noticed the technician got grease on my inside door handle and on the door panel. I bought some cleaner and some rags and cleaned it up myself. They were extremely busy and didnt have time to even talk to me about it. So I did it myself. Then when I drove my car after having the tires replaced. I noticed a new problem. Now the vehicle has a vibration that it never had before. Like they didnt balance the tires correctly. I wish I could train the tire guy at Walmart. A new tire has a colored dot on the sidewall. When the tire is installed the technician is supposed to line up the dot with the valve stem and the Walmart tech. Didnt even come close to lining up the dot with the valve stem. I wouldnt go there for tires until they trained their technicians.

STAY AWAY. Took 2 hours to get a basic oil change and they made a mess all over the engine. As I drove off, I began hearing an awful screeching sound coming from the engine which I had not heard prior to arriving. Now I need to take it to a mechanic to see whats wrong. AGAIN, STAY AWAY.

Very nice people, however they are unable to do oil changes on mazdas because it requires a special tool they dont have. Because of the backup in the line, they didnt tell me until after Id already been waiting in the store for over an hour that they couldnt do my oil change. So if you have a Mazda, take it somewhere else for oil changes.

Bought tires. Staff rude and unfriendly. I had to locate my own tires at the store. Tire techs tried putting tires I didnt want to buy. Was made to wait for hours and hours to get them installed due to rude tire technician. Management wanted to argue with me about not setting an appointment when no appointment was necessary. I wouldnt go here if it wasnt so close. Worst TLE experience. I wouldnt have bought tires here if they werent on sale. Doesnt anyone know how to work a job with pride anymore?

Just had my oil changed here, half the price they charged in jiffy lube, which by the way was an awful oil change; here the customer service is great, it was fast and they gave me a full receipt of my car bill. They also filled the water fluid. Go there, you can shop while you wait.

Had battery replaced. Great service from Lonnie. Chris was also great. He took extra time to help me get the radio reset. We had trouble finding the instructions and he ended up going to Utube. Between that and the owners manual, he was able to get it reset. This was beyond normal expectations. Did I mention it was probably 99 degrees? He could have easily said you need to contact the Honda dealership who would not have helped me since I didnt get the work done at the dealership. Kudos to Lonnie & Chris.

First and foremost, Im a loyal Discount Tire customer. I came here on a Sunday out of necessity before I read these awful reviews. And I couldnt agree with them more.I pulled up, got out, and was walking up when I was greeted by a less than friendly lady saying, That aint a parking spot, sir, before I had the chance to say anything. What a way to engage your customers! Then, a guy that was very unexcited to assist me came to see my issue. I had removed a tire from my Jeep earlier in the day. So, I unloaded the tire from the back and proceeded to show him the two holes. Pretty simple stuff, right? Wasnt even requiring them to put it ON my vehicle, which is what any other place would have offered! He mumbled that it was fixable, told me he didnt know the cost, and started walking away. I dont know if he was expecting me to roll the tire up to the shop for him, or what. He honestly couldnt have cared less I dont think. Angered at this point, I told him his customer service was terrible. As a complete inconvenience to these two employees, I loaded the tire back up and drove across the street to Sears, which is what I should have done in the first place.This place is God awful. If your issue can wait, go to a real automotive repair shop where they value your business. Anywhere but here. This poor excuse of an automotive experience will not happen again with me, my family, or any of my friends for that matter. What a joke!

Came in at 7 am to get my tire patched. Service did not open till 7:20 and their employs refused to patch it due to company policy. I took this tire to Firestone to get new tire.... They ended up patching kine without any issues.... If youre in rush on a tight schedule. This walmart is not a place to help you with your tire issues.

I went and drop my car. They gave and estimated time of 3 hours. I wait the 3 hours at the Walmart. After 3 hours, I decided to ask about my car. They said they could do anything because they did not a have the filter !!! With would not been a problem I’d they don’t make me wait 3 hours for not reason!! Super bad customer service

Came to get an oil change. Arrived at 7 sharp. The bays were still closed. Called the auto center phone number three times with no answer. Finally called the main line for Walmart and got someone on the line. They had to go find out if it was open or not. Signs posted state opens at 7am closes at 8pm. Finally, an employee says they had to call someone in and it didn’t officially open until 7:30a. That would have been a nice sign posted, A manager coming to let us all know. There were five cars in line. This is most definitely not everyone’s final stop. We came early so we could be out early. But what can you really expect... it’s walmart. The one plus side is the guy that ended up opening the center, said sorry about the wait.

Hours for auto center are wrong!Sign posted outside of the auto center states that Sunday hours are from 7 AM to 6 PM.Walmart website also states the same hours for Sunday.Arrived at the auto center at 7:10 AM and was advised by auto tech that the sign and the website are incorrect.Auto center opens at 8 AM on Sundays.Two cars waiting ahead of me and two waiting behind me.Taking my business elsewhere.WalMart management needs to be on top of it and provide the correct hours of operation for the auto center.

Went to discount tires. It was around 2 p.m and they said they were installing any more tires. I need 4 and they had them they just wouldnt put them on. This is the Walmart by I-35 and Partner LN. Called Round Rock Walmart they said they would to come by. But discount was on the way so I just stopped there.

Most horrible service ever. They probably hate their jobs and are looking for ways to get fired. Took my car for oil change and to get new tires installed 6 hrs before they close and they rudely denied my car. I told them i am willing to drop it off and pick up the next day and got the same answer even more rudely.

I went here once for an oil change and they quoted an hour. I didnt mind too much because I could just walk around Walmart for an hour. Got lunch, bought some stuff and an hour later they were still not done. It was maybe 15-20 mins later when they were done. I was pleasantly surprised that they vacuumed my car too but I could not tell you if I paid for that or not as the packages were not specific.

Told me an hour and a half wait for an oil change. ended up waiting 4 hours. after 2 hours of waiting, I see my car pull up to get it done, but then they reversed it and let this dude that just arrived go ahead of me and they just worked on his car instead. so I ended up WASTING my time at walmart for 4 unbelievable hours. never coming here again, and I advise you shouldn’t go here unless you want to walk around walmart for 4 hours for a basic oil change

Horrible customer service, from all levels. On hold for 20 min. Christine, the store manager, fought me over whether my roadside coverage allowed for a replacement tire, after the service manager said they couldn’t fit me in at 4:30pm, when open until 7pm. Slow, incompetent & abysmal. Plus, I had to pay for a 2nd roadside coverage for the new tire.

I came to get a oil change in my wifes car. The wait was 1-2 hours on a Sunday. After waiting over an hour I was told they couldnt do it. They stated the oil plug was stripped. Instead of calling me back and explaining they just pulled the car out. The tech was a smartass and had a lil attitude. After speaking to the Assistant Manager he pulled the car back in and got it done. I would have gave 1 star but after the Assistant Manager stepped in and got it fixed right away I gave it 5.

I went to have an oil change & tire rotation last Saturday. My tire was a little low today, so when I went to put air in it, I noticed that this tire is in the same position it has been for months. The plastic cap to that tire is cracked. You charged me for a tire rotation that was not done but sure did take my money. That make you THIEVES. I WILL escalate this. To make matters worse, Ive been on hold for a manager for 21 (& counting) minutes.

While first of all they have to cut down waiting time and secondly Walmart have to hire more professional staff which have background of automobile and get some arrangment of refreshing and new upgrade course for customer service and Auto moble, at least for thouse who is working for long years and they can transfer better knolage to new stuff. But frankly that course reference to all over customer service staff and there departments heads, managers and supervisor coz they need it more then new stuff.Now come to my experience!I dont know your staff or suppervisor or maniger lady have problem or Walmart policy problem.But what I got my experience I already mentioned above, anyhow my all family members are discount tire customer,but I prefer Walmart coz I got good tires and better prices online,So I started to buy tires online and fix from your autoshop.I already had one car done and just tires changed and balance it took around five hours, that is not bad atlest car came out with new tires.Last time I got online tires what I need for Corolla S, and guess what, I waited for three hours and finally senior staff come and say we can not put this tires in your car because your car tires stiker says different width .I told that lady manager by profession way I am Mechanic Engineer and I know what I am doing and why I am fixing little wider tire coz on wit surface Corolla get more slippy then other car coz they dont have ABS in this modes.So I just wanted more safe and performance ride, and I was changing 195/65/15 to 205/65/15. She refused after 3 hours, I am not anggre on her or any staff, but my question is why dont Walmart hire professional staff and get design new policys if customer needs some things they clearly mentioned and its on customer risk and fix it.I went out side market I fixed that tires and did aliment and car looks beautiful and more grip on road.Cluster showing almost same speed I checked with gps.I got fixed tires and did aliment and wheel balancing total time under 40min vs Walmart 5 hours .That is my point time is money.I only lost warranty or so called road side assistance or pincher repaing warranty ..Otherwise online buying tires and fix from outside is much better experience then waiting 5 hours for nothing just for that warranty.If Walmart allowed to buy the same warranty online and able to fix tires faster then there own shop then may be Walmart consider that too.In short that is only my experience and my suggestions for Walmart.I hope this will help someone looking for and sum day may company get help too.Thank you

As a customer, i shouldnt have to hear a debate on if my car will get serviced if i showed up at 6:55pm and last call for service is at 7:30pm. I had to get out my car and search for assistance after sitting there for about 7 minutes. I stopped getting my oil change here and started going to Take 5. Only reason i came here was to replace my battery.

Took me over 3 hours to get a set of tires installed on my car. That was 3 hrs that the car was in the bay, lifted and ready to get tires. Both guys that worked on tires spent more time talking to each other than they did working.

Quite honestly, the worst Tire center I have experienced. Ive gone there a few times to get my tires worked on after I bought 4 new tires and all the bells and whistles that go with it.On every visit, the first thing I hear from the work floor supervisor, Tell them its going to be a 3 hour wait in a booming voice without any consideration or care for the value of the customers time. He does this without fail. Even though it isnt really a 3 hour wait.Next, the employees normally at the tire center seem to be lost in small talk and do not pay attention to what they are doing. I once waited about 2 hours for a Tire rotation/balance job, only to find out that my work order was not printed, and hence my car was not worked on!!!! To top that off, once they did work on my car, they did the job incorrectly! I spoke with the manager who kept apologizing. He offered me some compensation in the form of a free oil change, but quite honestly, I do not trust those guys to do a good job there.They always have had issues delivering on the service that I signed up for with the tires, and I do not want to add a new issue to worry about -- Oil leaks, worn threads on plugs, wrong oil etc etc.. I trust my dealer for that.If you ask me, do not waste your time with Walmart, pay a little more (+$20 or so) and save yourself the hassle of dealing with this. Go to discount tire, my dad has tires with them (I had too, but I thought Id save some money and go to walmart) and man their service, professionalism, courtesy, and respect for your time is impeccable!Sorry walmart, but your service is terrible. (sadly, that isnt a surprise for many...)

I dont know what I was expecting from a Walmart lube job...I guess asking for the basic service is asking for too much...I got the top tier oil change for $50 but they didnt top off my fluid or wash the windshield. I verified at the start of this whole transaction that I wanted the full service that was included...I had to ask twice to get them done, but still the windshield is a smudged up mess... I figured Id at least get what I paid for.

DO NOT EVER GO HERE. My husband and I needed an oil change before moving to Philadelphia with a UHAUL trailer. They said the person who installed the hitch messed it up and couldnt change the oil for us without cutting through the wiring. So we took it to Firestone at MoPac and Parmer and they said there wasnt a problem at all. I would give them 0 stars if possible. I will never again spend a penny at a WalMart. Beware!!

Tried going in for a battery check. I got there 40 minutes before close. I was behind one person in line for 25 minutes. I was told they couldnt do it because they closed in fifteen minutes. I explained that I had been in line, they said I wish you had flagged me down. Very poor and rude service.

The worst tire experience ever. Went in for a simple tire patch. Was told 1 hour then 2 hours later they still had not patched my tire. Finally got the patch on and now I have an air leak in that tire. While I was waiting I saw two cars pull up complaining about issues they were now having because of botched oil job.

They have little organization. Cars that arrived 20-30 minutes after we did (receiving same services) was completed before mine the vacuum cleaning I paid for was horrible!!!! I wish I could upload the picture of their completed job! Thoroughly disappointed!!!

Their entire system is just really disorganized and they will cheerfully make a customer walk out in the rain to move their vehicle out of the way of someone who came in later.Go literally anywhere else.
