Carters are the best. I am a small business owner who has had several vehicles painted at this shop. Everyone is flawless and James and the staff are great to work with. They are not the least expensive, but I have tried other shops and Carters is by far and away the best, their attention to detail is unmatched. The truck below was white when purchased. Cold is on the right plumbing would not consider another body shop.

I cant say enough about my experience at Carter Paint & Body. I got my car back today after it endured front end damage due to someone elses fault in traffic. Lots of components were damaged with regard to cameras, sensors, and sonar not to mention the entire front bumper. My car looks like it never happened! I had high expectations about the quality of the repair and they did not let me down. James kept in contact with me the entire time and, while the timeline slipped due to new damage found, he delivered when promised. The paint job is absolutely flawless. They even did some extra aftermarket install work for me while the car was apart at NO CHARGE. I was ready to pay for the labor, and was floored when James told me dont worry about it. Support local, family owned shops like this. Thank you James and crew. You have my business for life!

I am surely a huge fan, since the owner is my Favorite Uncle Steven Carter, but really these guys are awesome. My uncle has the perfectionist trait that runs in our family, which works for everyone elses benefit, since he wont put his name on anything he doesnt think is perfect. He has an eye for color matching, and looked at a car I was test driving for 2 seconds before noticing the body work that i never would have been able to see. Once he showed me how to look for it I kinda could tell, but really I was so impressed that he was able to know exactly what had been repaired on a car that was represented as undamaged to me, while standing 15 feet away with the sun setting in his eyes, yet that i couldnt discern in full day light or with hours of looking at the car while waiting on paperwork. Needless to say, I brought him the next car and got his approval too. Great place, great guys, great work, and Best Uncle a girl could be blessed with. 💯❤

I’ve used Carter Paint & Body multiple times over the past 12+ years. I have nothing but GREAT things to say about them. Their customer service is top notch. Steve (the owner) and James (manager) spend whatever amount of time it takes to help their customers understand the situation and how best to work with insurance companies to get the most positive outcome. They go the extra mile on all counts. The shop’s work and results are always excellent too, both in fit and finish! I also think Carter’s has fair and competitive pricing (I’ve compared them to other shops before). In the auto body business, there are good/trustworthy people, and there are people that arent. Carter Paint & Body is a TRUSTWORTHY and HONEST auto body/paint shop. They tell it like it is, work to ensure their customers understand everything, go the extra mile, and make customers happy. That’s hard to do when weve just wrecked our car and are going through the inconvenience that comes with that. Steve Carter cares and represents his industry well! I wish I’d known about Carters sooner!

Found Carter Body & Paint to have fair prices and quality work. Good communication throughout the process. Finding a good body shop is like finding a good mechanic you can trust and be comfortable with. Not that easy to find, but when you do you keep going back. I did get other estimates and most places did not seem interested to do the work or took a very long time or had to be hounded for a quote. James will take care of you.

I researched auto body shops and chose Carter’s because it was close to my home, and I like supporting small businesses. Some of the reviews had me questioning my decision. I chose to move forward so I could decide for myself. On arrival everyone was very friendly. Someone came out and looked at my car, and said an estimate would be emailed by the end of the day. This did not happen. It took 2 days. That didn’t bother me because I was in no hurry, and was not going through insurance. James called me with estimate and was very helpful. I told him I needed the bumper fixed so I could get a hitch. I asked if he could help with that even though they are a collision business. He made no promises, and would check. He called back and had the best news that he would be able to help with that as well. I was relived to have everything done at once. The car was done on the day they told me, and when I picked it up it was washed and detailed. They even put all my kids stuff in a box on the seat. They did a wonderful job and will definitely be using them again.

I’m a magnet for getting rear ended it seems and the last two times now, I’ve brought my Mini in to get fixed here. James is very helpful and friendly and always takes care of the situation without any hassle. I could probably get it fixed quicker at another place but I’ve been more than impressed with their work and customer service! (Plus getting Mini parts takes a bit longer anyways). I hope I don’t have to bring it back a third time, but if the situation arises I definitely will.

Talk about a hidden gem! Carter paint & body was great for us. I asked them to fix a few minor repairs and they did it below two other competitors and on time. I was pleased with their work and would return without question.

I brought them a fender to paint on Friday.When I visited them the following Tuesday, I found my fender where I had left it 4 days earlier.I took it back.I painted my fender elsewhere in two days.The worst service Ive ever seen.

I have taken my vehicles to Carter multiple times for accidents, DIY gone wrong, etc. over the past 10 years and have had good experiences each time-as good as you can expect when dealing with auto damage :)I’ve found the work quality good and honest. The scope of work has always been logical, and the prices fair.

Outstanding work! They even cleaned and vacuumed my car interior which was covered with long white dog hair! It felt like I was getting in a new car!

It took me awhile to find someone to work on my 1967 VW Beetle after it was ambushed by a deer. Carters did a fabulous job. They were able to exactly match the cobalt blue paint color. The bug was beautiful when I got it back. It appears they detailed it inside and out. AND, they even painted the tiny VW bug at the end of my key chain! Thanks, guys!

Over the years, Carter Paint & Body has always been my go-to when Ive need any bodywork done on mine or my familys cars. They always do top-notch work and their attention to detail is second-to-none. There have been a few little things require a minor adjustment after Ive gotten a car back but these have always been happily and quickly addressed. Outside of the actual workmanship, they happily deal with insurance and dont let insurance companies push them around into using substandard parts or repair procedures. Overall, I cant say enough good things!

Steve outdid himself again for me! I had a little incident with a pole, and now my car looks all new. He worked with the insurance company to get all the necessary work completed, he helped me get a great deal on a rental and he completed the work very well and very timely. I would recommend Carter Paint & Body to anyone who wants a great job done on their auto body repair.

Very rude to my wife and me. I grew up in the automotive industry, it takes very little to be candid and respectful with customers.I wish google had a zero star rating. All of these shops are the same quality product, customer service is the one place they have an opportunity to shine. And shine, these guys do not.

I rarely give a five-star rating to a business, but Carter merits this. Crunched Honda needed $10k + repairs after accident. Tow truck company recommended Carter, as they were located just across the street, and said they were top-notch. I will concur. Carter went to bat for us when our middle-of-the-pack insurance company strongly opted for non-OEM parts. Carter took the hit and got approval for genuine Honda parts. They also took an additional hit when warning light required a trip to Honda to diagnose. Straightforward, communicative and first-rate work. Ask for James when you find you need their services.

I have spoken with the manager James to get an estimate, and he was a real rude, not returning back.

After I was hit head on, the wrecker driver suggested Carters. I was a little fuzzy that evening, but I did end up sending/keeping my car there. That was the best decision! They use factory parts (OEM?), and even though I thought my car would be totaled, my Mazda 6 came back to me in perfect, beautiful condition. I had a small issue a few weeks down the road, so took my car back in. Steve, the owner took me to work that morning so I wouldnt have to rent a car - it was done that night, and has since not had a minutes issue. Everyone there is friendly and helpful. I hope I remember everyones names - Steve the owner of course, James and then Kimberly in the office, who as everyone knows, if the office isnt running, the shop isnt running! Thanks for a job well done!

I agree wholeheartedly!!!! Carter’s Paint & Body is the absolute best!!! I’ve been taking our cars to Steve for 20+ years and have always been treated with the utmost respect and have gotten outstanding results. The most recent was 2 months ago when he repaired my daughter’s VW Tiguan. They found damaged Farmers Insurance missed and brought the car back to showroom condition. I can’t say enough about James, the shop foreman. He is polite and friendly. Always goes out of his way to make sure everything is taken care of and ready when I show up to pick up the car. I recommend Cater’s Paint & Body to everyone needing top quality service !!!

MX-5 repairs were done with OEM parts and they were done quickly and very well. The paint is stunning and they dont cut corners. Staff was very nice and knew their stuff. Would recommend this place if you have the option to not use what your insurance company wants you to use. James was super helpful as well!

Have been trying unsuccessfully for several weeks to just get an estimate for my car . Doesnt seem that anyone can ever give a straight answer about it . If you get a returned call its not ever in a timely manner . This should be and easy thing . Just a minor fender bender that no one else was involved in . Our family has used them several times so Im assuming customer loyalty isnt a big deal to them either . Very disappointed .

I was rear ended in my VW Jetta and didnt know where to go so I asked my VW mechanic and he highly recommended Carter Paint & Body Shop. He said they did excellant work and dealt with the insurance and made life easy for their clients and would not use anything but new parts. I took the Jetta there and I am extremely happy with the work they did and the customer service that they provided. They were nothing but professional, honest, and had my car out of the shop before they promised. You cant go wrong with these guys! I dealt with James mostly but the owner Steve helped us as well, they are both VERY easy to deal with, Thank you James and Steve. If I am ever in the need of a body shop I will go back to Carter Paint & Body!
