I had my car repaired here for hail damage. I brought the car to them with an estimate done by the car insurance. They did their own estimate which tripled the cost and repair time without notifying me. So when I called 4 days later thinking my car was about done, they hadnt even started due to waiting on my Insurance to approve the extra cost. When rentals cost $100 per day, this is not acceptable. Once my car was repaired, I found many small plastic parts broken. My sun visor was drooping from the ceiling, many plastic clips holding the interior lining were either broken, missing, or left on the floor of my car. The interior was very dusty and there was debris in the backseats. The trunk no longer pops open like it did. The only reason for 2 stars is the actual bodywork and paint job looks good. But if you care about your cars interior, I would look elsewhere.

Adjuster had no idea how much it was gonna cost to replace Catalytic Convertor on my 2019 Mitsubishi. Neither does my insurance!!! To tell me to drive there to get the estimate was a bad call!!! Im hoping to God that driving there did not f..k up my motor. U cannot install a generic or universal Catalytic Convertor in my car!!! 😡

The work done on my car was great. It looks just like new. It didnt take too long, either. They also cleaned, washed, and filled up my car.Not 5 stars because:1. They miscommunicated a couple of times regarding when my car would be ready2. No one in this office seems to take masks or ventilation seriously.

This was my first experience having to deal with an accident and I was very nervous and worried about the steps and calls I had to make to get my truck fixed. My brother recommended AMM Collision and I called them as soon as I could and got a same day response with a tow truck and was reassured that I would be taken care of. Once I dropped my truck off at the shop, the manager, Cody, was very transparent and broke down each step that would be needed to fix my truck. Once the repair was approved by the insurance, they made sure that factory parts were put on my vehicle, instead of aftermarket parts and kept me in the loop throughout the entire process. My experience was very pleasant, and if I have to go this again, I know exactly where I’ll be taking my vehicle. Thank you.

Brought both of my vehicles to AMM Collision on Research for Hail Damage repair through Geico. The folks at AMM were awesome. Easy in, easy out (although I could have made it easier on them by making an appointment!). They were thorough and did an excellent job on both vehicles and worked seamlessly with Geico, to boot. I am particularly impressed with Rob. He was not only polite and prompt, but he went out of his way to speak with my Geico adjuster when there was an issue concerning payment.I would bring my vehicles here again.

This AMM did a fantastic job repairing the dents in my car from the recent hail storm. Tony M wasvery personable and professional. They were on top of the issues and kept me in the loop the whole time my car was being worked on. They really cared about my concerns and worked to answer any quedtions I had. I have used AMM on two occasions. Each time the staff was efficient and professional. They communicated repair progress daily. Arranging the lease car was seamless. Their final cost was $300. less than a competitor. I would use AMM for any related issues.

I was referred to AMM by my insurance company Geico. I had originally planned to use another shop but after receiving estimates from both shops and after talking with management, I felt comfortable using AMM for my claim. They did excellent work repairing broken windows and door damage from vandalism and were able to get my vehicle repaired and returned to me much quicker than the other shop had quoted. They were able to source the OEM parts I wanted used at a competitive price and my vehicle looks as good as new. I highly recommend them for both the quality of work and the timely manner in which the work was completed.

Hail damage repair quality was great, but during the repair someone stole a portable speaker from the back of my car and the service team was not very helpful or sympathetic to its recovery. Buyers beware.

Everything was handled with ease through our insurance company. A rental car was waiting when the vehicle was dropped off. Repairs were done within one day of promised date. Very nice people to work with since my son is new to the town and didn’t know where to go for repairs.

While this is just one location in a network of AMM collision centers, the front office personnel are better than very good. Updates and phone calls were made as promised. Pick up of repaired vehicle was flexible for the sake of my schedule.The performed repairs are invisible to the untrained eye. Yes, the car looks new again. I have no reservations about recommending this location of AMM.

Really great experience here. They had my rental on property when I dropped off my car for work. Their quotes are very fair and they work quickly. Granted I went through GEICO so the pressure was higher for getting the job done. All staff was kind and the waiting area was clean and had water bottles! CW (I think?) is who I worked with directly and he was very communicative on the status of my car. Their team cleaned the inside and the outside of my car before returning it. Highly recommend this place!

The front desk guy is easy to work with (great communication) and the work done was quality. My door looks brand new and matches the rest of the paint so I’m glad the damage is not even noticeable.

The work was good, but the level of communication was not. My car was not ready on the day they said it would be ready, and I had to call on my lunch break every day to get an update. Jason kept saying he would call me but never did.

I received the best, most friendly service from the folks here at Ellis and Salazar. Manuel was great, and kept me up to date on what was going on with the repair, and sending texts when it hit a major milestone in the process. Easy to drop off the car, easy to pick it up. And to top it off, as I was driving out, Manuel noticed my brake light was out and went to grab a new one.Good service, quick repair, friendly people. Can not recommend enough.

Angel is AMAZING! I was looking at $800 for a part to fix my drivers seat in my 2008 Hyundai, and he instead found me a used seat thats going to be about a quarter the price. He called and updated me throughout the process and was very sweet and helpful.

After having used 3 different body shops in Austin over the years I was skeptical at first but AMM had great reviews so I gave them a call. I had wrecked my truck without insurance so I was going to be paying out of pocket for my repair. Cody worked with me on aftermarket parts to fix my truck at the lowest cost possible and when they were finished I was absolutely blown away. The quality of their work is very high, they detailed my truck inside and out. You can just tell they are very proud of their own work which speaks numbers in this city. The price I was quoted at caliber was around $15k. AMM fixed my truck the way I WANTED IT for less than $8k. Again I’m absolutely blown away and would definitely recommend this place over any other in Austin.

I used this place after a lady reversed into me the ladies insurance covered the rental I got until my car was ready they called me my car was ready so I picked it up the same day they called me I check my bank a couple days later and I was charged for the rental because this place put that I didn’t pick my car up when it was done when what really happened is my car was done for 10 days and they never called me to tell me until they probably realized I never was called so wrong date was put on the paper work fortunately it was sorted out being a mistake on their end so I got my $380 back then after picking up my vehicle I notice my key to MY car was broken the buttons literally pushed in bout to fall out then the guy tried to tell me I took my key in like that do you think I would be this upset knowing my key was already broken so then he says let’s go look I have a picture that your key was broken when you brought it in and what do you know there’s no picture because my key was not broken when I dropped my car off to be fixed I WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE REPLACED this happened in June it is now December still haven’t got my key replaced difficult to unlock my car and always getting the run around that I will be contacted to get a new key I will never use this place ever again so unprofessional

I am so grateful to the staff and Ellis and Salazar for the work they did on my vehicle after I was hit by a bus. Ellis and Salazar kept up the communication with the other insurance company and was able to repair the damages in no time. I felt very taken care of, and I was updated on what was happening, first when they estimated the damages, and then about what they found as they continued the repairs. This business staff lacks in meeting deadlines they set and minimum professional skills to fix my car. It is the worst customer experience.I made a phone call, and they promised me to call back. An idiot hit me while I was passing them and smashed the side of my car. Took it to E&S and received outstanding customer service. The work took longer than it should have, but they did whatever they could to reassure my car would be fixed properly and always kept me informed on their process/status of my car. They did excellent body work, paint. Highly recommended.

I made an appointment a month ago to drop off my truck for repair work. When I dropped my truck a day ago, I was told they would call me in the afternoon to give me an assessment of the repair. When I called shop at end of second day after not hearing back, I was told that they had not called me because they were too busy with unscheduled drop-offs. Ive been using Ellis & Salazar for almost ten years and have always been pleased with their customer service until now. I received an apology after the job was completed. They did a great job on the repair and I hope they are more responsive to their customers.

Good service, be careful on rental. My car was fixed after someone backed in to me. This auto shop said they would set up a car rental for me, but did not tell that to the rental car company. Basically, I didnt have a rental car reservation, costing me a few dollars more than insurance would cover. Otherwise, I had a great experience with this location. My car looked great with paint matching perfectly and no random damage to the car.

Seeing as they have fixed my cars a total of 5 times, I would say Im the perfect person to write a review! Teresa and Karen are awesome! Of course they know me by name. As far as the body work, I can never tell there was anything even wrong. My most recent fix was after an encounter with a deer, which caused some pretty bad damage, not only was my car done 2 weeks before the projected date but it was completely flawless! I drive a 2016 Camry and it looks fresh off the lot! I absolutely love them!

Manuel took good care of me and got my Nissan looking like new. He handled the insurance company, kept me updated, and even washed the car and cleaned the inside for me! Excellent service

It took less than 24 hours for them to fix my bumper that was damaged by a hit and run. It looks better than it did when I purchased it. Teresa was amazing and always took my calls. They cleaned the interior along with the exterior and gave me free candy. Im really happy and have never had this type of customer service at a car shop! Thank you Teresa and your team!

Ive been using Ellis and Salazar for more than 10 years. I dont like talking to them, not because of what they do or their customer service, but because its always due to an unfortunate incident on my end.Long ago in another lifetime, I actually did body work and understand how absolutely time consuming it is and how difficult it is to do complex things like panel matching and repairing compound curves. I could find defects in almost any piece of bodywork done by other shops, so I assume that Id have to live with that sort of thing when they repaired my vehicles.I was wrong. Ive had them work on vehicles that are 10+ years old and if the paint is in good shape, I cant find the blends. I cant find alternate textures and I cant find any evidence of panel based repairs. I cant say that you can absolutely do the same thing on cars that have faded paint, but on the vehicles that Ive had repaired, the results are outstanding.Ive also had newer (1-2 year old) vehicles repaired. Even with a particularly difficult color (silver metallic), I cant see the blend. I cant see it regardless of sunlight, I cant find alternate textures, and I cant find alternate metal flake patterns. They are that good.Theyve worked with me when my insurer would only authorize non-OEM panels - and when they dont fit right, theyll do the work again (and go through insurance again).And I can say that not every experience has been perfect over there. I have found one mistake. And guess what, they fixed it (it was quite a bit of work) without any question or requiring any pressure on my part.Theyve earned my business in perpetuity. This is the body shop that you want if youre picky about your vehicles.

I went to this location on 11/21/14 and I went in and I asked the lady to look at my car because I was involved in a car accident and I did not realize that I need full coverage well I had liability however she looked at my vehicle and she said we will go in the inside an do a report well anyway we went inside and it took her at least 45 minutes to do a report and tell me that she was going to charge me 8 thousand dollars for just a dent in the front well more like a whole and a little bit damage on the door. and I knew I had to go back to work and she said I will send you an email that let you know what the cost is of my vehicle you do realize that it is now 12/01/14 and I still did not get an email from this woman. I am very disappointed in this service I got from the Appraiser....

I called yesterday to see if i can schedule appt to have my car look at. The girl on the phone was really nice and helpful, she apologize for the noise in the background i could barely hear her over the phone cause some guy in the background screaming and be very loud. Thats not very right when someone is on the phone talking to a customer and all you hear is so much noise from someone in the back. Have some respect for people on the phone...

I’m always wary of going to repair shops, mostly because I don’t know much about cars, but the crew and front desk staff that I’ve worked with have all been super, including the geico agents I’ve dealt with when seeking repairs.

I went in for estimate and my exp. wasnt very good. I wasnt happy by the way i was being treated by Manuel. He was asking alot of qeustions about my personal life which I think was uncalled for. And lot of cussing, Which wasnt very respectful of someone coming in for estimate. And he was answering his cell phone taking care of other business while he was helping me, I wont be coming back into this place... I went somewhere else where I was more comfortable.

And second she act like she didnt want to take time do my estimate, She kept asking for email so she can send it to me later that day and which that didnt happen I got my estimate. With the exp. I had from Kait i took my car somewhere to get fix
