You walk into a body shop steeling yourself for the worst. Expect to be told that the whole car needs to be painted twice and rebuilt to remove that ding on the front door. Especially so if it’s an expensive car. Well imagine my surprise when the exact opposite happened at covert. I met with Robert who clearly cares about cars. I have a vanity dent - ie it’s not something that will damage the car off left alone, but hurts my pride. Robert did a thorough assessment, and came back with an estimate, but also the suggestion that if i wanted to, I could leave it alone. He then proceeded to buff out some of the scratches with his kit and my car looked a lot better. The dings are there but much less noticeable. I do not ever hope to need the services of a collision shop but if I do my first choice will be Robert and covert. His honesty, straight talk and deep affection for cars won me over. Thanks Robert!

I worked with Robert to get a few parts painted for our truck. He was excellent! Body work is never cheap, but he was up front and open about the costs and timing. The work was fantastic and on time. Our other car needs some body/paint work. I’ll definitely be working with Robert to get it fixed up.

The great customer service began with the receptionist and included everyone I worked with at Covert Collision. I can’t say enough good things about Roy Briceno, my contact for the body repairs. He’s professional, and kept me informed of the progress on my truck. Everyone at Covert was friendly and helpful. I hope not to need collision repairs again, but if I do I know where to go.

Great place!! Best experience never took any of the family vehicles there but I took mine cause I had an accident, picked it up today wasn’t disappointed at all I was glad to see my vehicle like I just bought it new, special Credit to Robert always keeping us up to date with everything will post pictures tomorrow!!

I received wonderful service from Covert Collision after my car got damaged on a snowy hill during the Great Freeze. There were multiple cars involved, and Manual was a huge help at the outset with advice on which insurance companies to talk to in what order. My service was handled by Robert, who took over the interaction with the insurance company and kept me informed. The car looked great when I picked it up, and had been cleaned inside and out as a nice bonus. Robert even told me to come back after I got a bracket for installing the front license plate (a part of the work not covered by insurance) and did the installation for free. A great experience all around.

It’s never fun to be in an accident but Debbie Castile at Covert Collision made my customer service experience as pleasant as possible. She was knowledgeable and stayed on top of the repair. She thoroughly understood every aspect of the process from insurance claims to replacement parts. She communicated progress with the appraisers, parts prices, repair completion and balances due. And she went to bat for me with the rental company when the car they had promised was unavailable and with the insurance company when I needed an extra day to have tires replaced. Best of all she was honest. My repair was almost finished and in line to be washed when it was hit by a wrecker. Debbie completely handled the 2nd claim and made sure that the car was repaired again expertly. It’s pretty good customer service when you write a 5 star review after that happens. After having my vehicle moved to Covert from a shop that didnt wanna do the work I found that Covert Collision was very customer oriented. There was a waiting list to get the work completed but in risk of having to move my vehicle again I opted to stay at Covert. I worked with Debbie and she was very polite, very knowledgeable, very personable. There were a few ones and twos that after getting my vehicle back that needed to be addressed and they were addressed quickly and professionally. Excellent service close to home. Advisor Robert kept me current on progress and adjusted my cars headlight alignment even though he was fixing the back end, not the front. Got the car back with a courtesy wash, vac and wipe-down - I think the detailer even managed to get a milkshake spot out of my leather seat. Car looks like new and smells like it too.

Covert Collision has repaired 2 of my cars and the quality of the work was excellent both times. They matched the paint on my wifes metallic green Honda CRV perfectly, I cant even tell it was repainted. The work was finished quickly both times our cars were in their shop and they were a pleasure to deal with. Id recommend them to anyone needing collision repair.

My wife ran a curb in our 2015 Subaru Forester and slammed down hard busting the muffler. I had heard Covert Collision was the place to go so I took it in for an estimate. They had to order the muffler but within a few days my car was in the shop and being repaired. I thought it would take a while, but with the efficiency and professionalism of Coverts collision shop I had my car back sooner that I had expected...and back to new. Thanks Covert for the care and quality repair.

I did not have the beat results from this place. The back corner of my 4runner needed to be repaired from a hit and run. When I got it back it looked OK at first, immediately when I got on the highway it was rattling like crazy. I got home and actually inspected it from the inside. Its like they mix matched parts to put back in. None of the inside fender, mud flaps etc properly fit. All were loose. Went to tighten everything and found 3 screws to be missing. Terrible work. And upon further inspection theres 2 interior screws missing from the back interior trunk area. It also seems my back window was lightly scratched on multiple spots. Bad experience, and my farmers adjuster was not helpful or transparent on anything. Would try fixing myself before going back to them.

The service is Cadillac, in every sense of the word, I am very impressed and very satisfied with the way I am treated. Everyone is so respectful and very helpful. The quality of the work is second to none.

Took my car to Covert after being referred to it by my insurance (USAA) to repair a shattered headlight and lightly busted fender. The finished repairs were fine, and they cleaned my car inside and out, but the customer service was awful. They had my car for almost 3 weeks (which seems excessive given the minimal damage), and in that time they never once reached out to me to give me an update on my car. If I wanted an update, I had to call them, even on the days (yes, days - more on that later) they said it would be ready.I went out of town for a week after dropping my car off and didnt hear a thing, and when I got back I called them to find that they had only just received parts they had ordered, so would now start fixing it. That was a Monday. They said they predicted it wouldnt be until the next Monday it would be ready, and that theyd call me on Wednesday to update me. They never called. Monday morning rolls around and I call them, and they say it should be done just after lunch. By mid-afternoon I decide to call them again and Im told itll be ready tomorrow (Tuesday) now. 2 PM Tuesday I call them, and the rep says theyll call me in 30 minutes with an update. Over an hour later I get a call saying that the aftermarket headlight they installed isnt working, and so will have to overnight an light from Honda. Now Im not a car expert, but I suspect checking that the headlight works would be something that could be done well before the day they claimed itd be ready. Again Im told itll be ready tomorrow (Wednesday). Again, I hear nothing until I call them mid-afternoon, when finally they tell me its being washed and will be ready by 3:30, just a couple hours before they close.I would expect that a good collision center would be proactive and give me updates, rather than waiting for me to call. Id also expect them to not lie to me several times over about when it the work will be complete. I understand that some things come up, but Covert showed a consistent pattern of apathy and dishonesty, and I will not return.

It went very well. The staff who was helping always communicated with us. If we left messages, calls, or texts were returned. I cant recall the names of all the people who took care of my car, but two in particular are your service advisor, Jason along with his team and your estimator at Covert Collision Center, Monica. The ladies at the front desk were always polite too. Thanks you all for that!

I will never go back again. Such a terrible experience! My car was damaged by hail. I checked online and finally decided to go here because they got good reviews everywhere. Two weeks later I was notified that my car was ready to pickup. I went back and found a dent so I talked to John who was my adviser. He is just a liar and trying to fool you. He never gets back to me since then even he promised to do so. While Im the one always calling back to check on status. One time the reason he gave was your car is in the body shop right now and the guy who worked on it is on vacation, I should hear from him by tomorrow then will update you and I never got the callback. One day I pass by the collision and found my car was parked at the exact same spot as I came by two weeks back. I got really mad, so I just went back and took my car back with the dent there. Later round I noticed they drove my car for 200 miles, but the Dent Works of Austin is right beside within 3 miles! One day later, I cannot even start my car! It was towed to dealer yesterday. I dont know what they did to my car in 4 weeks but it is horrible and scary. Please dont go here and dont be fooled!!!BTW my car is only one year old without any accident or issue before!

I really appreciate the Covert team for resolving our issues as quickly as possible. We have been buying from the Covert family since 2009 with a Ford F-150 at Cover Hutto, a GMC Terrain from Covert Bastrop, a Buick Enclave from Covert Buick GMC Austin, a Chevy Silverado and Chevy Malibu from Covert Bastrop, and lastly our most recent Buick Enclave purchase from Covert Buick GMC Austin in 2017. Its because of their great customer service that we keep coming back. Because of our great shopping experiences and service, this is the reason we choose Covert Collision for our vehicle repairs. They have changed the bumper on my BMW 128i about 10 days ago. When I got it Ive noticed that the 2 peace grill was one side chrome and the other side black. Also, the bumper wasnt sitting right and there was a scratch on the paint already. I dont know how this is possible, but oh well. They told me that they will order a matching grill and once they get it, I can bring the car back so they can fix their mess up. I took it back today. Once I got it back I saw that the bumper is NOT flush with the hood again. Almost half inch off, have the hood stick out! They told me that that part of the bumper is not adjustable to make it flush. I was confused on how ignorant they are. There was no way that the hood and the bumper would be half inch off! I even showed them a recent photo of my car before the accident, zoomed in to where they can see that it sits flash. It was unbelievable how they still stood by the fact that it was not adjustable. So, I took it home and loosened 4 little screws and adjusted it back to were its flush. It was ADJUSTABLE, and took me less than a minute literally. They put a mismatching grill and left a scratch, I wasnt too bothered, I knew that I would never take any of my cars there again. However, them lying about a bumper being not adjustable because they didnt want to do any additional work to fix their mistake after theyve got paid, is what what irritated me! Shame on Covert Collision!

I purchased a Yukon XL from Covert recently and had a minor paint issue on the hood. Elvin the Covert Collision Manager took care of it immediately and looks brand new! Great job!

I usually have a great experience with Covert, however this time was extremely different. I was hit by an insured with a small insurance company. I brought my vehicle to Covert expecting the same service Ive gotten the past 2 times Ive visited. The other insurance was not covering the full damage to the vehicle so I ended up leaving a check while Covert tried to get that money back from the other insurance company. I was able to pick up my vehicle after 2 weeks and noticed that they, Covert, had damaged the leather on my steering wheel. My vehicle is not even 2 years old yet so it was a bit frustrating that a body shop actually caused damage instead of just fixed the damage. They called me back about a week and a half later and said that they hadnt cashed my check yet and could fix my steering wheel. I already knew where the conversation was going but still went along with it. They said that the other insurance company wasnt going to pay the difference even though it was their insureds fault, so Covert was going to cash my check and fix the steering wheel or I could stay with the damage and theyd give me back my check. So of course I stayed with the damage and unfortunately after all of this mess, I realized I will have to find another body shop for any of my future vehicle needs.
