This is the place to be if youre in need of brow therapy, a fresh reshape, or fleek brows in general. When I first moved to Atlanta, I wasnt sure where to go to get my brows done. At the time, I used to get them waxed - that was a mistake. After a bad waxing experience in midtown (I ended up with a significant chunk of brow missing), I did some research and noticed that Authentic Beauty had great reviews. I started my own brow therapy at Authentic Beauty, and my brows have never looked better - I also stopped waxing altogether. I recently had my brows done by Aly, the brow queen herself, and couldnt be happier with how they turned out. Her skills and client service experience is top notch!

Going to Authentic Beauty is truly like stepping into another universe. Especially during COVID, they have gone above and beyond in their precautions. They consulted with an infectious disease expert, to ensure all policies and procedures were not only meeting, but exceeding, recommended guidelines with the utmost care to protect both the clients and the staff.I am a healthcare professional, and the precautions Allison and team have in place far exceeds what is in place for many organizations (this is based on anecdotal (personal) and documented (news) evidence). I felt extremely comfortable, as the utmost care was taken for my safety during the time of COVID.Beyond the safety aspect, Allison and team are best in class. There are professionals who are good, and there are those who are the experts in their industry. This team is one, if not THE best in their industry, and it shows -- in their approach, knowledge, and work. The proof is in the pudding!I never thought Id love my brows again, after a truly awful experience where an esthetician brought the wax too low, down into my delicate eyelid area, taking part of the lid with the wax and ruining my brows. 😭When I sat in the chair and began the brow tint processing, I was excited -- and knew the result would be incredible. But when I looked in the mirror at the final result after Allison worked her magic, I cried. I didnt think my eyebrows could look this beautiful. After 40, my eyebrows were fading away. I’m naturally blonde and it’s amazing what a difference arched and dyed eyebrows can make! I was amazed that BROW REHAB even made my own brows thicker and fuller. I don’t have to use a serum or anything. I don’t wear makeup everyday but when my brows are perfect, I’m happy with just lipstick.I have been in for services under the new safety guidelines and they took all the recommended precautions. I feel as safe at Authentic Beauty as at a doctor’s office.

I’m not exactly sure what was more disrespectful - the makeup artist lying about her experience with Halloween costume makeup or the owner trying to tell me my makeup looked good despite how ridiculous I looked. When I tell you that people like this shouldn’t be in business, I mean it. They just want to lure the customer in to take the customer’s money though they are well aware they cannot deliver the service. I looked nothing like the photo I had showed the artist. Not only that, I looked hideous. Needless to say I had to go home, wash my face, and put on regular makeup for my party. The owner try to tell my I needed more makeup put on..by who? The artist that already didn’t know what she was doing in the first place? Horrible. Horrible experience.

I would like to respond to the previous review from Polly Galvao. I was seated 3 chairs away and heard the entire conversation. I have been a customer at Authentic Beauty for several years and have never witness a single unhappy customer. Polly, you were 20 minutes late to your 1 hour appointment. The picture you brought for the make artist to duplicate was probably done over several hours with airbrushing. When you started complaining the owner was brought over. She explained that your Halloween makeup was not finished and it required blending which was the next step. You were not happy with that explanation. Your behavior was pretty ugly after that. Bottom line Polly, the makeup was for a Halloween party not a once in a lifetime event. Breathe.

This place is absolutely amazing- such a nice, warm, and friendly environment. Alyson did my brows, and I understand now why shes the best of the best in Atlanta! I will definitely be returning.

Not handicapped friendly! Arrived for my first appointment and used the handicapped ramp; however, that entrance was locked so I knocked. Finally a middle-aged man with dyed hair walked into the previously empty room, looked at me, and walked back out! While searching for my phone, this individual returned, opened the door and said, Let me help you out. If this door is locked, use the main entrance, pointing to the entrance some distance away with numerous steps. I indicated my cane in case he hadnt noticed and said I am unable to climb steps. He again repeated that he was, just trying to help me out. Really?! If he wanted to, help, he would not have initially ignored me at the handicapped entrance and then told me to use the stairs. Needless to say, left without having my scheduled service.
