This eye doctors office was great. I had a great experience. Everyone was nice friendly and easy going. I had a 9:30am appointment and I was out of there by 10:30am. I needed contacts badly and he was able to get me tested, fitted and a trial pair within a few minutes. Not to mention the convenience of being near by my home. Perfection!

Extremely slow and poorly run office. Im sure the eye doctor is good but we waited over an hour past the scheduled appointment time and were told it would still be another 30 minutes to be seen by the doctor. This place is understaffed and overbooked. If you have work or other time sensitive obligations do not use Eye Center of Atlanta.

I truly enjoyed my eye doctor experience. The office is neat and all of the employees are super helpful and friendly! My optometrist was amazing and instilled a lot of knowledge and went the extra mile to ensure my husband and I eyes stay healthy!

I had an eye emergency this morning and the front office staff welcomed me immediately. Dr. Sharma was friendly and helpful. He took the time to explain everything and I felt so much better!

I saw Dr. Sharma for a routine eye exam. After a lot of tests, he told me that my prescription had worsened exponentially, and that this is abnormal for my age group (middle age adult). He says that there could be other causes like pre-diabetes, and that I should go see a physician for a check-up and then come back for a follow up.I was confused because I was not having any vision problems prior to this. However, he said that my current prescription was way off. To illustrate, he put my current prescription on his lens machine and had me try to read off some letters on the far wall. All I saw were very blurry letters. But when I wasnt looking through his machine, and was just using my current glasses, I could see them fine!The doctor said that it was only because I had seen them previously, so I memorized the letters. So I said, why dont you change the letters and Ill see if I can see them with my glasses. So he changed it, and I was still able to see the letters just fine!Long story short, I accepted his explanations, and went to the doctor to get my annual physical. All the results came back fine, and I did NOT have pre-diabetes. I then went to another optometrist, and he said my prescription had not changed by much at all. So I just came away from this entire experience very confused and a little bit poorer.

It was a great experience and the staff was extremely helpful and pleasant.Not a long wait and we’re able to make me an appointment quicker than any of the other places I called. Highly recommend. 👍🏾👍🏾

Eye Center of Atlanta, P.C. provides just the right blend of being personable and professional.

Excellent Service Nice Big Clean Office and Very Friendly Staff and Doctor

This was my first appointment at the office. Dr. Sharma and the staff were very friendly and professional.Update-I have to update my review from 5 star to 2 star. 10 days after my appointment I tried calling to order contacts. I was completely out. I called multiple times of the day for 4 days, left voicemail messages at both locations, drove to the downtown location to order in person during what was supposed to be office hours, however, the office was closed. On the 4th day someone finally answered at the Campbellton Rd location and I just asked if I could pick up my prescription. I rushed over during my lunch break to grab it. While Dr. Sharma seems really nice, the lack of service and professionalism after my appointment was horrible. It should not take a patient calling for 4 business days to get a hold of someone in the office. I will never return and had far better service for the past 7 years I’d been going to LensCrafters.Addressing the reply from Atlanta Eye Center. I had a follow-up visit prior to ordering contacts because I had a bit of discomfort in my right eye. This was 7 days after I received the trial contact. Dr. Sharma gave me drops to address the discomfort, aka dryness, and as I walked out the office I asked the ladies at the front if I could call later that day to order contact because I needed to hop on a work call. They said sure. Had I known it would literally take 4 days of calling both offices and leaving voicemails before I could even reach someone, I would have ordered contacts that day and just risked being late for my work call. Either way, regardless of your location that week I think its reasonable for someone from the office to have returned my call within 24-48 hours. By the time someone answered when I called on Thursday I just wanted my prescription so I could order contacts on my own. Again, Dr. Sharma seems to be a great optometrist, however, the inability of the office to return calls in a reasonable time is not ok with me.

It was great.!! People there are so nice, and its genuine. If you need glasses, go there. They are up front with their prices, I will work with you if you need more time to pay.

Decent service in house but the phone isnt always answered when you call and hours arent clear. left a voicemail thursday mid afternoon and called back the next day at 3:30pm since I hadnt heard back, only to be advised that they had already closed (googles hours says they close at 5pm so I dont know their actual hours). previously had been told that theyd call me in a few days after my appointment then I didnt hear from them for 2 weeks until i called multiple times and they advised shipments were delayed. overall 3/5.

The Covid insanity continues. At no point prior to my arrival was I told I must provide and wear a mask. They offered to sell me one for $5!!! Even my barber shop provided a mask free of charge for a simple low cost hair cut but no not the eye doctor that would be getting hundreds if not a thousand or more dollars. I also believe charging for a mask is a violation of not only government recommendations but more importantly basic customer service AND common sense!!

The previous doctor, Dr. Perrine was a super doctor and Dr.Sharma just stepped right in her shoes without missing a beat! He is very concerned for our eye health and a very pleasant person!

Dr. Sharma was amazing! He really knows his stuff and doesn’t try and sell you he’s there to make sure you get the treatment you need. His staff is also very helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend him and his staff for any future optical needs. I have found my new optometrist!

I had to change my review for Eye Center of Atlanta. Dr. Sharma is great- awesome doctor but I’ve been super frustrated getting calls answered and messages returned regarding my daughter prescription and refill. They hardly ever return a message or answer during the workday! 🙄I have cancelled our annual appointments and changed doctors.

Facility was clean and patient appointments were spread apart enough so that it is not crowded, the doctor is polite, through, knowledge and very helpful

I hate to say I forgot the Doctors name but he was awesome, amazing energy and showed me how my previous prescription was actually too strong and fixed it! Very nice and knowledgeable staff. The doctor is great and answered all of my questions thoroughly. I havent been to an eye appointment in a very long time and he was patient with all my questions. It took me a very long time to make decisions about which frames and lenses I would like and the staff was very patient with me and explained everything very well. So glad we found a great place for my husband and I to go to and receive great eye care! Definitely recommend.

The office and building was out of date and a few aesthetic things could’ve been nicer, but still very professional, prompt, helpful and so kind. Gave me trial paid of contacts and recommendations for next steps. Will be back.

After going to big chain eye centers like Americas Best and Vision Works for years, it was really refreshing to sit down and talk with a doctor who takes pride in his practice. It was much more personal, and I felt more confident leaving there. With the other places Ive been, I always second-guessed the prescription. Something always felt slightly off, but I always ignored it. Now, after leaving an eye exam feeling so confident, Ill never go back to the big chain stores. It was a really great experience from finding the place to sitting down for the exam, to choosing my frames and lenses. Parking is free and easy, and the number is clearly written on the building, which took the guess work out of finding the place.

The exam and industry knowledge of the Dr. made for a good experience overall. I felt like I had a thorough exam and I really like the brand of contacts he put me in. However, they pressured me multiple times to order my contacts that day from them. I was even told that if I didnt, it would mess everything up with my insurance. (I knew enough about my coverage to know thats not true). I asked for a copy of my prescription before I left and saved $100 by ordering online from a company my insurance recommended. My advice, get the exam and take your time to research all of your options before placing an order. Dont feel pressured to buy from them in the moment.

This is the best place that Ive been to in regards to an eye exam. My first visit was a very informative. Dr. Sharma was welcoming and explained to me more about my prescription that many other doctors didnt want to go through the hassle to do. Many doctors tell you what you need, but Dr. Sharma will give you options and explanations. If youre worried about your experience at a new practice, dont be. You will get taken care of at the Eye Center of Atlanta.

Great eye doctor!! This was my first visit to Dr. Sharma’s office and I was very impressed by the service I received. He answered all of my questions with confidence and even suggested a few recommendations to help me make informed decisions and glasses and contacts. I highly recommend Dr. Sharma!

The two ladies at the front desk were incredibly patience & supportive & so nice. The only thing I recommend is properly cleaning the equipment that patients must place their faces on for the eye screening.

If I could give 0 star i would. This place SUCKS!!’ First of all when I picked my glasses no one did all the measurements to see if the glasses even fit my face. Then after when i got my glasses I had sharp headaches. I called in and I got a respond saying that the glasses are probably tight. I should wait for them to losen up. I waited and struggled with headaches EVERYDAY. I decided to go get my eyes checked again and this time to another doctor. Turns out MY WHOLE PRESCRIPTION WAS WRONG! AND THE GLASSES THAT THEY PUT IN THE FRAME DIDNT EVEN MATCH THE PRESCRIPTION. I called them and they refused to give me a refund! REALLY REALLY DISAPPOINTED. The doctor gets annoyed when u ask him questions.
