Excellent service! The drink selection is great, and they have some scrumptious pastries as well. The raspberry cream cheese danish was as delightful as the bran muffin.We have been regularly walking there with our pup and enjoying the outdoor seating with our coffee and tea.

Visiting this Coffee shop was the best decision Ive made today. I was able to get my favorite coffee perfect for the nice weather. It was a nice experience for me for the first time. I am deeply impressed by how they handled the service correctly with no hassles at all. No hidden charges compared to others! Splendid!

I love my local neighborhood coffee shop! The staff is super sweet and they use local roasters for their beans (East Pole). They were super careful during the COVID-19 pandemic and started to use the Odeko app for easier ordering and curbside pickup. This was such a great idea! They’ve opened their doors for patrons to sit inside now, but I still use the app from time to time when I am in a hurry!

Even their caramel that they use is house-made. The place is clean & pulls a mixed crowd of young professionals and people of all ages and races. Saw a lot of people working on their laptops here.My server was a beautiful girl named Savannah. She was super helpful, friendly, professional & accommodating. Im not a coffee person & hence limited knowledge. So naturally I needed help differentiating between espresso, Americano, cappuccino, latte, cortado, and various other kinds.She was very patient, kind and helped me by explaining the differences between all with a beautiful smile on her face. You dont get the same service neither explanation when you go to a big retail chain like Starbucks.I would highly recommend everyone to try this place. I am sure that you received exceptional customer service along with great quality products here. Will definitely be returning here again.😃😃😃

I went in on a Sunday afternoon. The place had people, but was not packed to the point of being uncomfortable. All the staff were friendly, and the music selection was good if you like Amy Winehouse, Florence and the Machine, Gym Class Heroes etc haha. Most people were on their laptops, per usual for most coffee shops. The crowd was mid to late 20s, but some variation. I got a chai tea latte, which was lovely!! It was nice and smooth, and a good size. It was served in an actual cup, which was cute haha. There were also places to sit outside!!

Good coffee and environment. I have had the latte and sourdough muffin, both of which are awesome. If youre looking for a cup of coffee and want to get some work done or relax, this is your spot. It will get crowded so I suggest getting there early in the mornings.

Always excellent and fast service for this lil coffee shop! The nitro cold brew is on point! This is a must try! One of the best, if you ask me. Strong coffee with a smooth flavor. Truly a great find in this community and will be coming back soon for more!

Just thinking about the iced americano and perfect service I received last week at Taproom. I cannot wait to go back. Every one of my experiences at Taproom have been exceptional. I appreciate the kindness of the staff and the quality of the products most of all. A+++. Would recommend for coffee or beer or cool place to work in kirkwood. They have bomb (i.e. good) quiche too. Highly recommend all around. A great small business!

Wonderful atmosphere and friendly smiles! They carry East Pole coffee which is some of the best coffee in Atlanta. I got a caramel latte and it was the perfect cup; not too sweet, not too bitter, bit of flavor. They definitely knew what they were doing. The inside has a calm and hip atmosphere. Theres also outside seating which is perfect for the sunny days!

I really like this comfy neighborhood coffee house. My bestie and I stopped in yesterday to refuel before taking our drive home after sharing a bottle of wine at her shop. I tried the beerspresso and paired it with a pecan pastry and it was perfect together! The beerspresso was smooth and refreshing; just what I needed.

One of my favorite Lattes in town. Also nice to have a beer and coffee selection for later in the day to satisfy different moods.

The service I received here was really great. Not being a heavy coffee drinker, the cashier explained to me the types of coffee they served and gave taste tests in a way that was informative and unrushed, leaving me to feel genuinely cared for. Our group stayed after closing time by a few minutes but they were extremely polite in waiting on us, in addition to serving amazing coffee. Very enjoyable experience.

I work in healthcare. A friend of mine sent me an online gift certificate for this business so that I would be able to get coffee during this pandemic. Turns out, they are not honoring these gift certificates. They said its because it doesnt interface with whatever app they are using. One time the worker just typed in the gift certificate number and I was able to get my coffee.... Now they say there is nothing they can do and just kept repeating how unfortunate it is. Very disappointed that they will not honor this gift card that my friend already spent money on. I would have thought you were Better than this tap room. Very unfortunate

Taproom Coffee Is a really pleasant coffee shop that has a small selection of beers available. Located at the Kirkwood they do offer some pastries and other snacks to dine on. The coffee shop is within walking distance of a few restaurants and shops and the staff was friendly as well.Only major downside is minimal parking and if you go later in the day there are typically less bakery items available. However, that is to be expected.

Ive visited Taproom Coffee twice now, for small get togethers with a friend or two. I love the clean, uncluttered interior and the coffee menu. They serve a solid usual menu of coffee and tea drinks and have flavored syrups available. They also serve different beer selections, but I cant speak to them. Some pastries are also for sale.Taproom is a popular place for working. During my first visit, there were so many people there with their laptops, I was worried my friend and I wouldnt be able to find a place to sit, but we were able to snap up a 2-person table. There are long tables in the dining room which offers some flexibility for folks comfortable with sharing seating with strangers.One of the long sides of the coffee shop faces the street with bar seating and large windows, which let in plenty of light. This place is chic, friendly, and beautiful. Parking is available on the street and in the lot behind the building (access is to the right of Taproom). Im happy to find this pretty little place!

Enjoyable cafe with interesting beers. They let you taste test before committing to one ~ theres a lot of tables for patrons to sit. I didnt see too many outlets though. Parking is in the street and its parallel parking.

Just discovered this place after almost a year of coffee house hopping in this glorious city and this has immediately become my favourite! Incredible coffee that needs nothing added to it to be flavorful and full. I have to come back solely to try their multiple Ethiopian offers and the interesting cold brewed hopped coffees! And the staff was amazingly friendly. I was heading to work and I left to do that with laughter in my lungs and a smile on my face because of their kindness❤

Baristas are always on top of it. Great coffee, they actually care about their presentation, and they serve espresso like the Italians with sparkling water on the side. Great shop all together, but its usually pretty full inside.

Taproom is my favorite coffee spot in Atlanta. They are coffee experts. Staff is fast and always polite. Definitely get the latte! And if you’re into fresh roasted beans, grab some of East Pole’s Traffic.

With Dunkin, I love being able to come in and get a deal and get some work done on my laptop. When I go someplace local, I think I just love the atmosphere. You can come in and see people genuinely enjoying each others company. This cafe was no different. I can feel and see the unique vibe of the Kirkwood community.

First time coming here- it was really good! Had the latte and a scone which were both delicious, especially the latte. Relaxed atmosphere too, its a great space to get some work done if you need to.

This place has a unique decor. However, I hope the air conditioning was broken and its not normally that hot! Nevertheless, the $4.68 cup of coffee I purchased was horrible!! The big guy behind the counter was really nice and tried to be helpful and recommended a coffee, but it was worse than awful. Id refrain from asking their opinion on what to try on the menu. All-in-all, I had a good experience!!

This is a unique place that my husband and I stumbled across after dropping family off at the airport (we are from Alabama). He had a few brews (their selections are mostly malty or sours) and I drank a beautiful cappuccino. It was filled with students studying so the atmosphere was pretty quiet. We will most likely return when were in the neighbourhood again.

With Counter Culture Coffees, fresh pastries, and a solid tap list featuring local beers, Taproom is a great place to stop in for a drink, or settle in for a day of working from home. Counter Culture coffee is amazing -- and Taproom always serves 4-5 types between their espresso, drip, and pour overs. Theyve also got an impressive beer selection if youre sticking around for a while. Youre probably thinking - craft beer and coffee...This place sounds like it was made for pretentious hipsters. On the contrary, its a neighborhood favorite, its family friendly, and maintains a super chill vibe. Ive never been there and unable to find a seat at one of their many tables.

Very nice to have a place open up a little bit later where you can read and relax and have either coffee or delicious beers of quite a wide variety locally. The ambience is a little stark / industrial so not super comfortable but still great to have this around.

Atlanta is home to a handful of fine coffee houses, but Taproom fills a gap the city has sorely needed. As both a fan of craft brew and good coffee, theres hardly a need that Taproom cant fill. I love the constantly changing taps of beer for the evening, and I love the atmosphere in the day time when I need to get work done.The coffee is second to none in the area. As someone who works regularly in coffee shops, I consider Taproom to be my home base. The coffee is amazing, the service is attentive, but not elitist (like, say, Ive experienced at Dancing Goats more often than not?), and the music is such that I rarely need my headphones to drown out the sound.Taproom has regular classes and events and the overall feel is welcoming and part of the neighborhood, but definitely attracting a diverse and interesting crowd. I have yet to be disappointed with any aspect of service there.

I met up with a friend here one rainy Saturday morning just to chop it up. As soon as I stepped in, I was in love. For one, anyone who knows me, knows my addiction to coffee shops. Most specifically my addiction to Dunkin Donuts (Thats a whole different story for another day). With Dunkin, I love being able to come in and get a deal and get some work done on my laptop. When I go someplace local, I think I just love the atmosphere.

Favorite coffee shop in Atlanta! I come here all the time to study. They have excellent coffee and espresso; I really like their nitro iced coffee. The staff is very nice and helpful. They stay open late. The atmosphere is open and welcoming. They have plenty of outlets for charging devices and ample parking.

Good place to work and grab beer or coffee. was able to work until 10pm on a rush project.

This is a nice coffee shop, I just wish they had more tables or more space in general. But other than that I really like it, it has free parking and my chai latte was so good 😊

I re discovered this place this week. It’s been awhile sense I’ve been in but I’ve got to say I’ve really enjoyed coming back. Great coffee and a interesting selection of beers . Also just learned they do trivia and they make a very delicious chocolate chip cookie. Do yourself a favor and stop in and try this place out if you have not already !

Ive come here several times, both to hang out and to do work. Its a nice change of pace from octane with a different sort of atmosphere and fewer crowds. Staff isn friendly and service is good. I like the chai tea latte here and the pour over coffees. They feature a guest roaster of the month (currently Portland based) and East Pole coffee. Ive also had the ice coffee here in the summer. The espresso machine is a converted beer tap, hence the name. Its always pretty good quality wise and it helps justify the high price tags.

I live in the neighborhood but dont drink coffee.. I stopped in to meet with a business partner that was already there. I asked a few questions about the place and what they offered. The guy that was working seemed to be annoyed at my questions.. Or just not that social of a person.. Just an awkward 1st experience.. Needless to say, I had 1 glass of wine and we went next door.

One of my favorite coffee shop. Pour Over is my favorite and SOE is provided sometimes. I love the way they train their baristas, they are all so well trained to make wonderful coffee. Environment is always great, despite the hardness to find a parking spot.

I live right around the corner and Taproom was always a go to for me. A while ago, my 10 year-old niece and I started going in on Wednesday afternoons for our writing tutorials. She really loved the bagels, hot chocolate, and the tip jars with two normally clever conversation starter choices. We especially enjoyed playing a game of battleship after doing work and she delighted in sitting at the bar and getting water from the “beer” tap. It served as a convenient and pretty awesome place to work while enjoying a few pastries, coffee, and hot chocolate.However, we had to find a new go-to spot after about four weeks in a row of terrible service from one of the regular workers. I don’t recall his name. This guy threw my niece’s change on the counter, is verbally short with some children, and generally treats some customers as if he is doing them a favor by serving them. After two weeks of hot chocolate that tasted like warm, barely flavored milk, she asked for extra chocolate only to get a sneer and a product that tasted the same, if not worse. My niece, again, she is ten years old, finally told me that she didn’t want to stay or go back after the last time because, “I don’t like the way he makes me feel.” So we left, threw away the disgusting hot chocolate and tripped up the block for a much better experience.While I love the fact that there is a coffee shop right here in the heart of Kirkwood, I’m extremely disappointed that this gentleman’s lack of self-awareness (or intentional nastiness) has ruined the experience. It may not be as convenient, but the service and goods at Karvana have proven far more consistent and pleasant.
