Conveniently located in Atlantic station next to the steps is this chain coffee shop. You can buy beans and order different types and coffee and pastries. The barista was very knowledgeable on where their products come from the notes to expect in the coffee. Most of the seats were not comfortable but it still seemed like a chill place to visit.
I ordered a cappuccino and was never one to like strong coffee, given I make my coffee extremely sweet. But as I had it, it had an oddly strong, sweet taste. I actually loved it.The coffee guy serving us was extremely nice and was knowledgeable with all of my questions. Ill be coming back next time Im in Atlanta. The place is well kept and smells amazing. If youre in the area, its a must!
Great cozy coffee shop! The hot chocolate was unlike anything Ive ever tasted. They take a while to serve your order, or took me around seven minutes to get my sweet waffles and hot chocolate. But it was worth the time, their food tastes amazing! I think if I drop by Atlantic Station again, Ill stop by for a snack. Overall, theyve maintained the place pretty good and serve some great food!
They have good coffee. Its a great place to catch up with friends, read a book or just chill.Seats 25-30 people comfortably. They have metal seatscomfortable, but straight backed. They also have a 2 shelf book library with an interesting selection of books: Orson Scott Card, The 5 love languages and others :)
Their frozen chai latte is amazing. Not too sweet and just scrumptious. We also hold our monthly animation mixer every last weds of the month here and LOTH is a great supporter and sponsor of the arts and the creative community. Accessible location conveniently located at the Atlantic Station with really cool staffs!
Your basic coffee shop. Seems local. The blueberry lemon scone was amazing. The latte was very good. It wasnt that crowded or loud. The only complaint was the price but it is in Atlantic Station so they have to pay the rent. The location is at a great place in Atlantic Station - across from the theater. The staff was friendly enough. Nothing amazing or that they were glad you were there. The internet is free and solid. The free water was warm. Overall... it is pretty good.
One of the best cups of cinnamon latte I have ever had. Delicious, balanced flavors, the RIGHT temperature (was not piping hot!), perfectly crafted milk with a cute design in it, and the coffee spot is spacious and beautiful on the inside too. Of course it comes with high prices to match but they worked hard to justify that cup of coffee.
The coffee was good enough. The staff were super friendly and War on their a game as far as the service and coffee was concerned. Great atmosphere and decent amount of seating. I will definitely be going back here. Way better atmosphere than Starbucks for Petes.
This location has a cool factor that the Roswell location just doesnt. Its very sleek looking on the inside. Its a great place to come for a late coffee or alcoholic beverage after a movie or something. Ive never had a negative experience here. Coffee is good, staff are friendly. What else can you ask for?
First time at the cafe. The frappuccino is really good and refreshing, especially in the summer! The place is clean and modern. Perfect place to work, read, and more. Definitely one of my favorite places. Space can be limited because it is a popular place.
The BEST coffee beverage! We ordered a cold coffee, unfortunately I dont remember the name of it but it was absolutely amazing! The staff was definitely not friendly unlike Starbucks staff but that wasnt surprising.
Really great coffee place. Loved what I had but was slightly disappointed at the lack of options (Im assuming the morning rush devoured it all). Would definitely recommend.
Great place to relax and have a delicious Rowandin tea. Staff are very friendly. Love that they use ceramic mugs a majority of the time for people that are having their coffee or tea there instead of paper cups. Shows the company cares about the environment.
Amazing customer service. Justin was incredibly welcoming and great at explaining the coffee and pastry selections, in addition to providing riveting background on the company. Ample seating and relaxing lighting and decor. People were working, reading, and meeting with friends. Will definitely visit again!
One of the few coffee places in Atlanta that is open late. Beautiful interior and calm atmosphere. I love a place that does a good pour over. They also serve beer and sell their own beans. Beans that are sold are pretty good - I would advise a course grind otherwise they take too long to filter.
Cool little coffee spot. Nice staff and good joe. Limited menu, but that may be the secret to them keeping quality up. Worth checking out if you are in Atlantic Station
Very good coffee. Not a lot of seating, but adequate. Nice people at the counter. Seems to be a very good cause of sourcing their coffee in a just way.
Nice location! Its quaint! Has outdoor seating too. Friendly customer service. Free wifi and has a few outlets with power strips.
This is a very authentic coffee spot, with the feel of things never being truly setup or completed, everything having a very haphazardly done situation. The coffee is delicious, very strong and notable. The employees are helpful and willing to explain differing drink items. My only real complaint is the temperature, it always feels perpetually warmer in the store than at any other location at Atlantic Station.
Staff is friendly, it is located right in Atlantic station, so you have to pay for parking but do have options for before and after around. Wifi is good and this is great place to get work done both inside or on the patio, which is fairly sizable. The vibe is modest, the coffee is good and there are quite a few pastries. My biggest complaint is that there are no vegan food options. I enjoyed working here overall, but will not be in a hurry to return.
12 Oz Dark roast coffee and a warmed up blueberry muffin; priceless! Quite and comfortable place to relax and catch up with friends and family. Prices are great and food was very good.
Great Mocha that was rich any really good flavor. Friendly and engaged staff. Good food as well.
The location in Cypress Texas is better in terms of space, but it does the best It can do with space. Staff is friendly. Coffee is good
My sister went in to purchase a yogurt for my toddler. The environment seemed nice and it wasn’t busy. The young man at the cash register seemed unaware of what was supposed to happen with the transaction and the woman behind him attempted to guide him. She seemed to have a bit of an attitude when I told her it didn’t matter what type of yogurt she gave me because my kid will not eat the fruit. (The fruit is on the bottom) I paid and tipped him and took the yogurt to the table. I open the yogurt and it was like cottage cheese and I attempted to stir it, but it would not bind together. I look for the date and smell the yogurt. The yogurt smelled sour and it was expired. I took it to the counter and asked if they had any other that didn’t expire today. The young woman acted as if I was an inconvenience and said no. Lol, WHO SERVES THEIR CUSTOMERS EXPIRED YOGURT? This place does! She directed the young man to get rid of the rest of the yogurts in the fridge. When I asked for the manager she said she was. I asked her why would the sell expired yogurts? Without even blinking she said oh it must have been an oversight. Lies, especially if you directed that young man to throw out the rest of the yogurts. DO NOT DINE IN THIS PLACE THEY HAVE ZERO INTEGRITY!This is why STARBUCKS is winning STILL!
The coffee is amazing!! But the best part was meeting Laura! She made us feel so special on our anniversary!
Being a coffee purist I approve of their latte. Rest other types u can try.Their proportions are fixed. They dont make small large only one size. Which makes the coffee great everytime
I got some sort of iced, vanilla chai tea smoothie but I wasn’t all that impressed. The atmosphere looked nice and the service was nice. The drink options seemed a bit limited. Given that I’m not from the area, I don’t see myself coming back.
Really friendly staff, great atmosphere and great chai/coffee! Love coming here
I asked for strong coffee, and I got coffee that would wake the dead. The barista was very helpful and very personable.
Good coffee but some of the associates dont follow proper techniques making coffees such as pour overs (weight, timing and pouring). If you are really into quality coffee done right you may have to coach them on how to do that right. Unfortunately there is no discount for helping them get it right.
Awesome service and one of the best cups of cold brew Ive had in a while! Great vibe and friendly staff. Definitely visiting again.
Great little coffee shop! Justin the barista is awesome, so nice and pays attention to details. Also has a strong sweater game.
Amazing service and great coffee/atmosphere. Really like it here and always stop by when I visit Atlantic Station. 👍
Always a great place to chill and have excellent coffee. The cinna-honey latte is my favorite.
Amazing coffee! and a lovely little shop. the only downside is that it is a bit hard to get to and you have to pay for parking. I also would not recommend this for any groups larger than 6 people, because there isnt much seating.
Really adorable coffee shop, in a mall that you have to get parking for. They dont have the food as pictured though that is their other location.Really loved this though good coffee
Good baristas and good service. Tasty and simple drinks. Love stopping by here.
I have been here 3 times, the latte milk is always burnt with a ton of foam. Theres no point in getting espresso or flavoring because you wont be able to taste it anyways. Youre better off going to the Starbucks down the street.
The coffee here is delicious! Also, theyre located very conveniently inside Atlantic station. If you can grab one of the cozy seats in the back definitely do!
EDIT: This place is closing for good due to Covid. :(It’s always nice when the mission of any business is to “Do Good,” which is what Land of a Thousand Hills strives for with their coffee business. You can read more about their mission and partnership with African farms on their website. I’m just here to review their delicious coffee and chocolates! If you are lactose intolerant, they offer almond and oat milk. The baristas look like they stepped out of Portlandia (the show), which means it’s likely they’re going to brew you a mean cup of joe—and they certainly do! I was in the cafe for about two hours, and there were at least three customers who came in saying something along the lines of, “What you made for me last time was perfect. I want that exact same thing again.”
LOVED IT! The coffee here was simply excellent. I would go back here just for the Caramanilla.
Fantastic little coffee shop wonderful sirty chai super amazing friendly staff!
So chill and cozy with good drinks, with a simple not crazy complicated menu. Id love to come here after class to study.
I feel like I am in France drinking my cappuccino in front of the Eiffel tower.👍
To be blunt, Im a little surprised this coffee shop gets the high rating it does. And, Im simply expressing from my limited experience . The people behind the counter were friendly and helpful, this doesnt pertain to them. I ordered a cold brew, couldnt, didnt want to drink it. I returned it. As some else commented, it tasted bitter, weak and stale. I returned it and ordered an iced Americano. I didnt like that either. It was slightly better, though same bitterness and weak flavor. No body or substance to the coffee. I had a friend try it--he said it tasted like dirty water. ;) Maybe I should open up a coffee shop--what I make at home is a lot better. lol Imo, of course.
I just dont see the hype for this place. We love to try new coffee shops through the city, its a hobby of ours. I chose this shop based on the reviews. Not a single greeting or hello from the staff, upon entering. I had never been before, and it took me a moment to locate the menu. No offer of Have you been here before? Do you have any questions?, Let alone even asking what can I get you today. The young lady with a dark haired short pixie cut just came and stood in front of the register and there was this awkward moment of trying to figure out what I wanted to try, and understanding if she was even there to help me. From a customer service point alone, I would not return. The barista seemed to have skill and enjoy to his job. Overall the mocha and carmanilla were decent drinks, but didnt create a desire to go out of my way to return here.
The place is convenient for meetings but their coffee sucks! Wow. I dont visit Starbucks to give local shops a chance. But WOW!
A nice place to grab some coffee and have a chat. Both indoor and outdoor seating.
Friendly staff and good coffee. Great place to spend a couple hours working or hanging out with friends.
Was in town from columbus and found this place by accident. Hot chocolate was amazing, the mocha was even better! Very friendly, just great experience. Ill definitely be back when I come to Atlanta.
Their coffee is very good. I just wish they had more seatings!
Nice coffee shop. My daughter always finds the good ones. It was fun.
I will most likely never visit this place again. Do not get me wrong, the place is beautiful and very much reminds me of a more quiet and less busy Starbucks. But the prices for this place is insane, just for a green tea latte (tasted more like macha-which is 10x stronger in taste than green tea) was $6. We went over there because we saw the pictures on Instagram but you can get coffee art at a cheaper price.
Excellent coffee, nice pastries. Could do with some gluten free options to make it perfect.
Good coffee! Iced lattes are made with a double shot which is great. Great location with both indoor and outdoor seating.
Miriam made me the best tea Ive ever tasted in my life. The coffee was very rich, even for an iced coffee! Super velvety and smooth yet a delicious fix for a hot day!
Super friendly baristas! The atmosphere is so chill and well coordinated. The place feels sophisticated and fancy, but is affordable and a great place to get in some work.
Great coffee. Wish there were more places to sit.
The only true coffee shoppe in the immediate area surrounding Atlantic Station. Great coffee... even better location... perfect for grabbing a bite, impromptu business meetings or romantic interludes, but suffers from sporadic long lines and waits.
The coffee here is excellent but pretty pricey. You can get something similar from Starbucks for a dollar less typically. The inside is really nice but there isnt a lot of comfortable seating. The staff is helpful but only when asked. Would recommend the carmanilla latte and the Rosemary bagle!!
Friendly staff, coffee is always poured fresh when you order it.
Normally a great place, beware that it closes at 10pm and they will ask you to leave promptly at that time. We ordered dessert and coffee before they closed, and they handed it to us in take-out containers, instead of on the real plates that they normally use. We were not impressed.
I ordered the Vanilla Latte. I have had coffee from all over and in coffeehouses from Paris to Puerto Rico to Portland and this is one of the best. The baristas were very nice as well as the atmosphere.
Tried this over the weekend, nice place but I really didn’t love the nitro cold brew. I may have been dissapointed because it was talked up to me but my boyfriend actually couldn’t even drink his and threw it away.
Fun little place. A little hidden in the back.
Good coffee, not as many options as I wouldve hoped for a coffee shop.
Super friendly staff. Coffee was amazing. Service was fast.
Chic coffee and bar located in Atlantic Station. Good coffee, cold brews, and pastries.Serves alcohol all day long starting at 7:00am, and has King of Pops.
Great coffee place with an amazing barista. Their cappuccino is a little small for my taste (Im the grande/venti type of person) but amazing nonetheless. Also a great place to sit and chat - sunny or rainy. Must visit
Atmosphere and location are nice. Service nowadays seems to be dependent on who is working at that time. I have been inconsistently charged for the same drink and recently served beer 15 minutes before an early close without any verbal or written notice until after my drink was served.
Nice little coffee shop ☕ very busy with a long line. But they keep lining up so it cant be bad overall.
Been there a few times, really good coffee and tea. Really nice aesthetic too, a great place to hang out and talk.
Great spot with fantastic coffee locally roasted. I also love the craft beer selection. All from local breweries.
Best coffee Ive had in a long time! If your going to Atlantic Station, please do yourself a favor and skip the Starbucks to get something awesome at Land of a Thousand Hills :)
Love the area! Shop till we drop
I went to this coffee shop after the ATC 10 Miler race, which has started and ended in Atlantic Station for at least the past 4 years. This coffee shop wasnt always Land of a Thousand Hills but apparently the mgr/owner didnt get the memo. They had not adequately stocked up on breakfast items and the guy working didnt even know what types of muffins he had. It was pretty disappointing.
