When i first walked in, I said “WOW. This place has a lot of stuff”. I was so thrown at the amount of stuff that was accumulated in such a small space. I couldn’t find a hair brush and when I was walking through the aisles, packs of weave hit me in my face. There was hair oil, hair dye and lipgloss in boxes on the floor. The owner was beyond rude to my friend and I STILL DIDNT FIND A BRUSH. I found myself stepping over wigs and boxes all while trying to find a hair brush. It felt like I was in there for hours because I couldn’t find anything I needed. However, I will be back because they have a very big variety of weave and it’s close to my school. But if you do go to this store beware or rats and bugs, I didn’t see any bugs or rats but I feel like they would be hiding in there somewhere, probably in the wigs.

They are nice and helpful on things you need or looking for.

Witnessed the owner removing products from customers hand for testing lace spray. Didn’t even ask her to put it down he just came from behind the counter, took her items and approaches the second person who said she would her items down herself. I’m shocked that he even felt comfortable enough to take this woman’s item out of her hand. There was NO cursing or vulgarity and I’m just shocked honestly. He called the women crazy when they left and I’m still processing that he doesn’t know how differently the situation could’ve been had they been more aggressive women...

I come to this beauty supply all the time, owner is always rude (the man). Last week he was accusing someone of stealing something that she hadn’t even touched and taking pictures of her. He wouldn’t show me the product behind the counter that I ended up buying, I literally couldn’t see what it said. I would give it 0 stars if I could. He treats black people like thieves from my experience.

Stop to get some braid hair they have the 3 for 5 packs of braid hair versus the 2.99 and up hair others be charging for one pack they still have the stuff you want and need for reasonable prices

When I came, the register wasn’t working. Instead of them trying to offer other alternatives, they told me to go get cash. When I came back, the register was on.I once again expresses that it was a great inconvenience to have to leave & come back. The manager laughed at my remark in a scoffing way & said there was nothing she could do.Being a business owner myself, I know that’s a lie. I felt disrespected. The other manager had to come and offer me a discount. At that point, I didn’t care about the discount.Please treat people with respect. I’m never coming here again.

Found a job doing security

They make it seem like you need their business more than they need yours. Management is rude: No greetings - no thank you goodbye -no help looking for something in that crowded store. It’s hard to navigate in there because they’re so cramped with stuff everywhere & on the floor.I would not want to spend my money in there again, I’ll just drive to another side of town.

Exceptional customer service but their prices are WAY too high

When I entered the store no one addressed me they seemed to be arguing also bout got a stocking cap black was $1.51 then switched to blonde the man told me it would be 30. More so I asked why he said the maker prices it that way. My hair stylist then told me to get the black so I went back and they gave it to me but would not give me 30. Back so I asked why they said they do not sue refunds. I literally wasn’t even gone for 2 minutes .

I was the ONLY customer in there, at the time, the onlyone that acknowledged my presence was the very niceSecurity lady, the owners acted like I was invisible.The store is SUPER stuffed with productshard to move around.I will not go back

Security guard had an incident with shoplifter. I MUST say hats off to this lady. She was professional remain at a conversational tone and handled her business even when teenager was irate. Prices were good and had what I was looking for. Will visit again when in ATL

First experience, I needed ID to purchase with my debit card and employee questioned the validity because she was not familiar with the drivers license. 2nd visit, item price not marked on shelf and wouldnt ring up at register when scanned. When manger confirmed price it was at least a dollar or more than other stores in the neighborhood. Will not ever return for a 3rd mistake!

I would not recommend this place. I was accused of stealing the nose stud in my nose I walked into the store wearing. The security (the lady with locs) lack morals and integrity. She saw it in my nose when I walked in. She greeted me and even tried to get me to engage in small talk. I literally went from the front entrance to the front counter to purchase an item behind the counter. After the two women behind the counter realized they falsely accused me (they looked at the footage) no one apologized. I ask to speak to the owner but he was not working that day. I was a regular customer until this incident happened. I refuse to give my hard earned money to people who don’t provide decent (to say the least) service. Go somewhere where the company doesn’t mistreat you, disrespect you or present themselves to the public as if they’re doing us a favor. For me personally, it’s worth purchasing the same products at a cheaper price from the Walmart next door or driving to J&J on the other end of MLK.

Typical beauty supply. Very cramped in most sections and their prices are high. For most of the same items the Walmart next door is better.

Not a huge selection to choose from. They make you check all bags and big purses, I think this is ridiculous and absurd. Minium room to move around because everything is really cluttered.

First: Ill say something nice- This store had pretty good prices on wigs from $40-$55. Buy one Get one 40% deals on Brazilian Remy bundles.I would rate this place a zero if I could.I came to look for hair with an assortment of colors for a concert next weekend. I asked the owner about the colors he had available in stock for a certain wig he had on the rack. He took 5 minutes to locate the proper stack on the floor and told me he only had 1B & 2. I told him I was looking for something more colorful, selecting another wig. I asked for the colors he had in this one and he told me to look on the hair info card. Everyone knows that the info card on the mannequin tells you what colors the distributor makes in that wig- not which colors they have available in the store. He told me that he was not going to look through the colors for me, if I wasnt buying the wig.... but I was shopping for different colors lol. So I just chose a wig and walked around looking for other hair to buy. He asked me for the wig I was buying while I was shopping for the other hair. I told him I wanted to carry it myself so I could compare it with other pieces while I shop. He told me that I couldnt walk around with it, snatching it from me to put behind the checkout counter- now I was getting irritated. He persisted to follow me through out the store while I looked for other hair products, and thats when I had enough and told him he can keep everything- and walked out of the store .I have never been profiled so harshly while shopping, and I will never give them my money again.Instead, I traveled down the street and shopped with a smaller hair store called EBONY Beauty Supply. Its a smaller, solo store front but Diane took care of me and I bought $100+ worth of everything I needed from there. I would highly recommend shopping at Ebony instead if you are in this area.

The employees who work at this location are very rude. I arrived at the store 15 minutes before they closed to pick up one thing. On of the employees at the store locked the door in my face and yelled throw the door we are closed. This was at 5:45pm when the store is scheduled to close a 6pm. The store currently had other people inside. I will not be spending my money at this business again.

They have great hair but sometimes it sometimes make your neck break out. It also has wigs that are short and long.
