Great Repair Service, Simply the Best Price.I have now brought my car into Arvada Auto Tech twice and have been extremely satisfied on both occasions. Scotty and his crew represent a rare bread of compassionate car guru’s who genuinely care about the outcome of the work. Additionally, the final price of each service has be supersizing low which is the cherry on top.I had my starter replaced on the first visit, and returned for a major top to bottom maintenance and timing belt service. After receiving my car back from the major service every thing about my car just seemed healthier and happier. Both of the guys at Arvada auto tech are informative and trustworthy, came in for an alignment and they found(and called me down to look at it) some serious damage to my axel which needed immediate attention. AVOID!!!! Went for an inspection and had the oil changed. Driver side car door no longer closes like it did! $250 body repair to fix. They denied responsibility or compensation despite the obvious damage! Nor could he explain how else the door would get be so misaligned! Save yourself the expense and AVOID!!!!!

Scott is a true maestro in his craft. Prices are similar to dealer prices, but you get what you pay for and they are honest, no BS, which makes them better than a dealer. Most straight up mechanics i have met in over 30 years.

I called to set up a simple alignment and these gentlemen got me scheduled quickly. They were very professional and explained all potential costs and diagnostics. My alignment was done within an hour and at an honest price. These guys do excellent, honest work and I would highly recommend them.

This place was AMAZING. My car was towed there and by Monday afternoon he was completely finished with fixing it. They went out of their way on a busy day to fit me in and get it done as soon as they could. They were able to take a look at my old car the same day that I was able to tow it there, and they offered to take a look at the new car whenever I decided on one. Appointments were very easy to schedule, and the work was done in a very reasonable time. It was quite a stressful week for me, and they were very understanding, and really helped me out. This review is long overdue. I had two tires with a slow leak over the summer. I stopped by and found out that both had cracked valve stems that needed to be replaced. They tried really hard to get me the cheapest option of just new valve stems and not new sensors too, but my car of course couldnt cooperate that way, so they changed gears and got the necessary parts still at a good price. I will be going back for any other issues in the future. Great service!

Ive been going to Arvada Auto Tech for about 7 years and Scott has always been very honest and helpful. The prices are fair and the work is always done very well. I actually drive over an hour just to use Arvada Auto as I know the job will be done well and I dont have to worry about anything.

I took my car in today, after being told that I might have a broken CV axle on my Hyundai. When I first called, Scotty was very good about checking every possible place to try to find me the best deal on a new axle, and they were able to get my car in and looked at right away. Turns out I dont need a new axle (thank goodness), but I will definitely be taking my car there for any other issues that might come up, they were definitely the nicest and most helpful shop Ive ever dealt with!

Honest, great prices, and more than willing to help. I went in to get my rear struts changed on my Subaru, because I was told they were leaking by another shop. Not only did they inspect the old struts and notice they were not leaking, they inspected the rest of the car to recommend better ways to put the money I was going to spend on the struts to use. So I came out ahead by spending less money, and other maintenance things that needed to be done that I didnt know that needed to be done.

Scottie was knowledgeable, listened to what I needed and didnt try to oversell me on anything else that could be wrong with my vehicle. I needed new brakes and he was done with it 3 hours later. I will be back!

Used Arvada Auto Tech for the first time this week. I reported two issues with our Honda CR-V and both issues were quickly diagnosed and corrected at a reasonable cost. They also noticed we needed a new battery which we had thought about replacing (but forgot about) and installed a new one for us. Great preventative insight on their part with the upcoming colder months ahead. The owner Scotty was very punctual in getting back to us on issues and explaining what we needed and what it would cost before taking any action to fix the issues. I highly recommend Arvada Auto Tech.

After making an appointment for my car staff didnt contact me . I contacted them at end of business day and was told that my car had no problem starting. When asked why they didnt call they couldnt answer. Following day drove by shop twice to see if car moved. Finally did about lunch time. Was called about 1pm told they still couldnt duplicate problem and that they didnt have correct adapter to do diagnostic. Complete waste of 2 days and 6 hrs later car wont start. Very dishonest

The mechanics kept my Jaguar clean as they worked on it.The mechanics worked fast and were on time.They also used the correct materials and kept good communication with me during the repair and tests.

Stranded, I called Arvada Auto Tech at 4:30 pm on a Friday, and they told me they would take a look immediately. They quickly found a problem that a previous (different) mechanic had caused, and because it was a quick fix, they did it free of charge! An amazing local auto mechanic shop! I was trying to replace my rear sway-bar end links myself and could not get one of them off due to rust. Took it to Scott and he removed the old end link and installed the new one I brought in. Didnt charge me an arm and a leg and made sure the other end link I installed myself was installed correctly. Two days ago I took a used subaru tribeca for diagnostics at this shop before I decided to buy it from a dealer. Scott and his mechanic did a thorough diagnostics - test drove, hook it to computer, and lift it up - explaining to me each step and taking their time. I am very impressed with their professionalism . The diagnostics cost $99, took 45 minutes and it gave me a peace of mind knowing exactly what I am going to get. Scott also runs a local radio weekend show on cars which is cool. They deserves 5 stars for the diagnostics service. Thanks

I had my brake pads and rotors replaced here. I was very satisfied with the service - they completed the job in a timely fashion. Also, they provided some valuable advice on how to take care of my car.

Coming from a lackluster experience with my last mechanics, these guys were a breath of fresh air. They are very friendly and professional. I needed to get my Sentra winter-ready and have a good bit of maintenance done. After a day or two I had a concern about my vehicle. The guys looked at it for no charge and had me in and out of there in twenty minutes. One of the mechanics took extra time to explain some things about how my car worked, since Im pretty ignorant when it comes to cars, and it helped put me at ease and understand my vehicle better. They even held on to my old tires for me until I had time to come pick them up. A+, would (and already have) recommend them to others!

Scotty the owner is an awesome, knowledgeable guy. He fit me in last minute for a pre-purchase inspection of a car and his mechanic, Joe, was extremely detailed and gave us some really good insight into the work that was needed. Scott chatted with us the whole time while we waited and then at the end, even took us back and showed us what they were seeing and how to fix it. He then looked up estimates on the cars market value, which helped a ton when I went back to negotiate the price. I live about 40 minutes from Arvada Auto Tech, but I will definitely take my car back here for work, the drive is worth it. So nice to find a good, honest mechanic!

Quality Timely Service. First Class people.

Took my vehicles for basic diagnostic services here for about 1 full year. Bought a 2000 Dodge Stratus, and was told it had a rear main going bad. I let Scott do the work, but that when things turned south.Scott also up-sold me on several other seals in and around the transmission/engine interface. It made sense to get it done while it was all apart, but nothing got done properly. A week after getting the vehicle back, I noticed the transmission was leaking. He took it back and fixed it free of charge.While this sounds good, I am concerned that a) none of the other engine work was done properly. If I was Soccer-Mom USA, I would never have known my transmission seal was bad. Now, I have to check my engine seals constantly looking for new leaks. This has only been reinforced by the terrible experience my father had on a 1993 Ford F250 the same week.I also bought tires on this same bill, thinking it would be nice to just get it done. After all the headache of the other shoddy mechanic work, I have serious reservations about the work overall.If you need serious mechanic work done, go somewhere else (hint: His certification in the shop even names his place a Qick-Lube (sic) - Hes only good at basic mechanic work!). If you need tires, go with one of the national brands that specializes in tires.

Big mistake getting my power steering hoses replaced here. Kinda frustrating to have to wait for a part f due to bad so (which I understand) because I have to have my car to work. I deliver food. No car, no work. They had it from Sunday night to Thursday morning. Friday morning, I turn the car on and the engine is shaking the whole car and the check engine light comes on. I have a hyundai and have never had this issue with it. Its been such a reliable car. So, nope, Ill pay more and take it to the dealership.
