Great place to buy a car. They are very helpful and take their time to make sure you are happy. Devon was awesome abs helped so much. But the service department is horrible I wish I never got the oil change package so I don’t have to go back there. They are not completely open with prices.

I bought out my lease back in Jan 2021 with Mark and Tyson, it was a smooth and great process. I recently came back and got a lease with Terry and he was great. A big shoutout to Sam who helped with both, fantastic to work with. Service staff is also some of the best Ive ever worked with. My family has gotten two other vehicles from here, weve been very happy with Suburban and highly recommend them to anyone looking to get a new vehicle

Do not take your vehicle here for an oil change, first time, didnt tighten the drain plug, lost all the oil out of a brand new truck, had to have it towed. Last oil change, with 50 miles left on warranty went back....big mistake, truck started to have anti lock brake issues, and reduced engine power because of the risk. Funny how they also charge you for a car wash with the oil change package, but the car wash always seems to be broken....hmmm...a little bate and switch...IDK...you can figure it out. Oh, also had a deer hit on my previous truck, they repaired it and local body shop looked at it under the lights and showed me how bad of a repair they did.

We had car trouble while traveling and stopped in here for help. Chris Moody in the service department was amazing. He was super friendly and very helpful all while his department was crazy busy. While we were in the lounge waiting, some kids got extremely loud and another employee found us another place to wait that was peaceful. Very impressed with the service here. Highly recommend!

I bought my car from here about two weeks ago. The salesman named Chris Orr assisted me. I went in with my mind set on one car from a specific year and with much professionalism and class Chris convinced me to get a WAY better car which I love by the way. My car only had 16000 miles on it in PERFECT condition. He never rushed me or pressured me despite I was about 2 hours late for my appointment. This was the easiest most stress free auto purchase I have ever experienced in my life! I drove ALL the way from Clinton Township to Ann Arbor just for Chris in the gang! Buying a car? Go to this place! Theyre professional, honest and kind!

This place was terrible. I would give zero stars if I could. I went in looking for anything at the price point I felt comfortable. They treated me like I wasnt good enough to be there because I didnt have $60,000 to spend on a vehicle. Also while sitting there they informed me I made 12 late payments on my truck. Really?? I have the app on my phone and I showed it to him and said I have never made a late payment. To which is true!! I got my keys and left that ignorant place. Do yourself a favor and skip right by this place if you need to buy a car check out LaFontaine Kia in Ypsilanti, ask for Richard he and his team mates will take care of you.

I scheduled an appointment for new tires for my car approximately 2 weeks ago. I have brought my car into this dealer for service multiple times so they are familiar with the year/make/model. Once I arrived at the dealership for my appointment they informed me that they had no tires in stock to put on my car. Why would they let me bring my car in for new tires if they did not have any tires in stock? Why did no one call me to order the tires before I physically arrived at the dealership?

The Suburban Used Car customer service is horrible!! They are very very shady at that dealership! Stay away from it!!I spent two hours at the used car dealership on a Saturday. I agreed with the Sales Representative Ashton Fetters to purchase a vehicle that already had a deposit on it. She advised me that the vehicle already had a deposit, however the customer was going away to school and couldn’t wait on the title, so she was sure she could offer the vehicle to me. When I questioned why I couldn’t leave a deposit on the vehicle now, then she told me I couldn’t because it already had a deposit. She indicated the title of the vehicle wouldn’t arrive probably for another 10 days. When I questioned why she couldn’t refund it by credit card at that time, she indicated she couldn’t do it until Monday. She promised she would let me Know Monday morning so I could come in and put the deposit down.Ashton texted me Monday morning at 10. She texted me at 10:25 am Monday morning and told me the vehicle was available. I texted her back at 10:26 am, where I advised her I would be there at 11:00 am-11:30 am. She then advised me someone was test driving the car and she would let me know. Of course I questioned her what kind of sense that made since we already had an agreement.I arrived to the dealership at 11:12 am. She was already closing the deal with the customers, who then obviously we’re good friends with the manager Mark ( who didn’t have a card who who would not give me his last name), because after they were finished closing the deal stood and had a friendly conversation for another 15 minutes with him.When I questioned Mark he told me nonchalantly looking me straight in my face, he has bosses and he couldn’t hold the vehicle. This was in spite of all of my efforts to pay a deposit Saturday and came as soon as Ashton called me, and we agreed what time I would come only 35 minutes later after she called.If you want to do honest business stay away from SUBURBAN USED CARS in ANN ARBOR MICHiGAN. The manager is very shady and they do very bad business!!!!

The salesperson I was with was very presumptuous. I asked for a specific vehicle with very specific options. He took it upon himself to price me with something else because what I asked for was “more expensive”. He hadn’t asked what range I was working in, he assumed I was ignorant about my credit… I know what I want and I know what I’m comfortable spending without someone else dictating it to me.Gagik Vartanyan was not very good in terms of customer service.

Checked out a vehicle on their website that I was interested in, and made an appointment to come in and discuss a possible purchase. Everything went reasonably well, but with one caveat - told the sales guy I was paying cash, and I was still there for 3-1/2 hours to complete the deal - almost walked out. They had a great price however (IMO) on the vehicle...

Took my vehicle in 7:00 a.m. told me they would get to it as soon as they could. At 3 oclock told me mine was the next one in. At 4:30 I went to the dealership and it still hadnt been taken in had to bring it back the next day wasted 2 days without my vehicle. I understand you get busy but be honest about wait times. Have usually had excellent service just not this time.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS.....VERY DISHONEST.....Website shows vehicle on the lot available to purchase but when you inquire about it one salesman tells you its been delivered last week and asks he if he can locate another while another employee tells you vehicle is still available and confirms the price - managers dont respond unless you make a fuss...Its the old bait and switch sales tactic or they made a mistake on the price and are dishonest.....And they dont offer cash discounts and wont negotiate - who ever heard of that?I wouldnt and dont trust them....

On 1/16/2021 I took my 2017 Chevy Cruze for a 45000 miles maintenance appointment.The vendor showed me a table from GM and told me that with this mileage I had to change the automatic transmission fluid what costed me $286.77.Checking page 357 on the Owners Manual this change is only needed in case of Severe use of the car that according to the page 352 on the manual are:. Mainly driven in heavy city traffic in hot weather.. Mainly driven in hilly or mountainous terrain.. Frequently towing a trailer.. Used for high speed or competitive driving.. Used for taxi, police, or delivery service.According to the Owners manual page 355 the automatic transmission fluid does need to be changed on a Normal use condition.I was never asked whether my car fits in the Severe usage category and it was told me to do it anyways.My car usage does not fit to this category by the way.I always used Suburban to perform all maintenance on my both cars and now I am really disappointed with Suburban service for selling me a product that I dont need.I regret to the fact that today I bought the Suburban Car Care after this occurrence.I am waiting for the reimbursement of the 2 extra maintenance that I bought in advance since 1/20/2021 and I never got my money back. The responsible for the area told me I would get it in 4 to 6 weeks but it is almost 2 months and I never heard back from them.

Brought my vehicle in for an evap purge valve evaluation and replacement. There were no other issues with the vehicle at this time. Upon retrieving my vehicle the steering was slightly stiff but otherwise drivable. Less than 12 hours later when I attempted to depart for work my power steering was mom functional. I returned to the dealership due to this issue clearly being related to the vehicles time there. I was notified they would charge me 2,500 dollars to replace the power steering system they had damaged.UPDATE: After paying 2.5k for this repair caused by the service department I received the car back which now has a loud knock on cokd start and sounds as if the exhaust has been improperly mounted. I will be obtaining them again today and likely seeking legal action.

Well I leased a 2017 Chevy equinox and then decided to buy it in 2019 everything was fine. So now in 2020 my son got in an accident ( he is fine ) which unfortunately totaled the vehicle. Now almost 3 months after the accident I’m still trying to get paperwork for the gap insurance from the finance department and to no avail I’m not getting any responses, by either email or by phone.

Update to my review from two weeks ago where i gave the dealer two stars. After seeing my review, the dealer worked with me to resolve my main concern which was the airbag light. I am happy to say that the concern has been resolved. This never should have happened and i would have only given three stars on this updated review if it were not for the used car sales mgr, Mark Brown. He was instrumental in getting the problem resolved after an unsatisfactory response from the service dept. Thanks Mark.Previous review from two weeks ago: After having to chase my salesman for three days I was finally assigned a salesman and was able to purchase a 2016 Ford Explorer. 20 minutes after pulling off the lot the airbag light came on and the radio was going in and out. My salesman’s response “You can still buy that extended warranty if you want.” AWESOME....NOT. I know I bought a used vehicle but give me a break!

***** DO NOT GO HERE BEWARE***$3000 in “ maintenance fees s” and $10000 in damages? These guys are the worst of the worst when it comes to fixing damages on a car. I know car dealerships inflate prices to make money but are you kidding me? I talked a young lady by the name of Ashley I believe and based on my circumstances, she recommended that I safe up some money for the repairs while the dealership holds the car. So 4months down the road I come back to give them 4K to at least start on my vehicle. But instead got passed around the store via phone, I finally reached “Brandon” the most disrespectful and degrading head of management I’ve honestly ever spoke to. Slapping me in the face saying I can’t have my car unless I give the 3k in maintenance fees on my vehicle . When all they did was estimate the cost of the damages? As well supposedly they cleaned snow of my vehicle while it was on their lot? Witch somehow adds to 3k and it snowed a handful of times. Brandon saying and I quote: I’m not the one who damaged the car sir? “I have to go your waisting my time “I will be contacting a lawyer.

Truly VERY disappointing. Buyers beware of the fact that they can AND will sell a vehicle behind your back. I offered to leave a $5K deposit on this $25K vehicle only to be told that I couldn’t. I thought I would be extended the courtesy of them “holding” the vehicle till I secured financing. The bank did drop the ball somewhat. They took 5 days to approve the loan because of COVID and the fact I am self employed. The hard part to believe is that I texted the sales person Monday only to be told it sold on Saturday, with no call from ANYONE and the salesperson wasn’t even, supposedly, aware the vehicle sold. All this is relevant because I spent A LOT of time and research finding this car on the internet!!! Only to be blindside the day I got financing the car had sold 2 days earlier, this is a VERY money hungry dealership....BEWARE.

We purchased our 2017 Silverado from Mark Brown in March of 2020 and just purchased our 2017 Chevy Traverse from Tyson Palyka December 2020. Both went above and beyond both times to make the purchase real easy for us. The salesman took their time to get to know us our wants and needs in a vehicle and even took the time to get to know our kids. They let them draw pictures and even played games with them to help pass the time. We all know how little kids can be during a long process such as buying a new car. I have the utmost respect for the salesmen at Suburban Chevy of Ann Arbor. They definitely go above and beyond. They are very honest and informative and want to make sure you are getting what YOU want not what they want you to buy. Apparently when they say they’ll clean the completely dirty vehicle, and to come back in 30 minutes. That’s code for “we don’t want to sell you a vehicle”. Got a phone call 20 minutes later and they say they “sold it”. Typical Ann Arbor mentality. I guess our request to look at a clean vehicle was too much. Thanks for wasting our time. Good riddance.

Today my husband and I planned on visiting 3 dealerships in search of a 2020 Cajun Red Blazer. Our first stop was Suburban Chevrolet of Ann Arbor. While looking over a limited inventory, we were greeted by Drew Laczynski. We were disappointed we could not find the 2LT Blazer in Cajun Red we were looking for. Drew understood our disappointment but convinced us to come inside to see what he could do to put us in the Cajun Red RS which was an upgrade to what we were looking for.Along with his manager, low and behold they made the numbers work for the RS blazer to which in the beginning was out of our price range.Our experience with Suburban Chevrolet of Ann Arbor was great from Sales all the way to Finance. Wed like to thank Drew for spending the time and focusing on us to make the deal happen. Suburban Chevrolet of Ann Arbor is very fortunate to have Drew on their sales team. I want to thank Dave Bryant for his great customer service. We traveled all the way from Wisconsin to pick up a used truck and he made sure everything was ready for us when we arrived. There was an issue with the plow connection and he took truck to be looked at immediately. Upon picking up the vehicle we noticed a crack in the mirror. He gave us an IOU to have it fixed. It took awhile to get the reimbursement check back after it was fixed, but he kept on it until issue was resolved. Would definitely work with Dave again if we saw another used vehicle for sale that fit our needs.

Purchased a 2015 Chevy Tahoe from these guys. Not only did they charge me $1000 extra “by accident,” they also failed to inspect the vehicle. Less than a week after driving it off of their lot, I started experiencing problems with it. I took the car back to Suburban, where I also brought up the additional $1000 (I had failed to catch the error on the contract too because they took five hours to finalize everything and I just wanted to get out of there with my new car). They offered me a $300 credit towards the repair my car would need and I would have to pay the remainder. I wasn’t happy but I got over it and left my car with them for the day. Their service department didn’t even fix my car. I don’t know what they did but my car started making strange clanking sounds. I dealt with these issues for a while until a local dealer figured out the issue and fixed it.To Tyson and Shelly, our sales rep and the finance manager, we were just another sale. Shelly creates the error that overcharged me and Tyson did not bother trying to resolve the issues I had either.I will never work with Suburban ever again and I advise everyone else to skip over this specific dealership as well.

Lance is AWESOME!!! I can tell he genuinely cares about Aurora’s, my car’s, well being!! He knows me by name and remembers the little things. I feel like I can put my trust in Aurora’s safety knowing he helped with recommending services. I tell everyone about my great experience at Suburban! I don’t live nearby anymore, but I’m more than willing to drive nearly an hour because of how great the people are at Suburban. About a month ago, my family and I purchased a new 2020 Chevy Trax. This was the first Chevy vehicle we have ever purchased and we absolutely love it. Our salesman, Drew Laczynski, was phenomenal! Drew Laczynski was great! He listened to what I did and didnt want--and why--and didnt try to talk me into things I wasnt interested in. He would point things out, and then let me decide if they mattered to me. That was especially good when it came to the financing. I feel like I made a good decision with the way I decided to go, with the car, the deal, and the dealer. Im looking forward to driving my Trax for a long time.

Wonderful experience on my recent 2020 Equinox purchase from Drew Laczynski. I spent several hours looking at several models and not for a minute did I feel rushed or pressured. I had an extremely good experience leasing my new 2020 Tahoe from Eric G at Suburban Chevy Ann Arbor. Eric did an excellent job of staying in touch throughout the buying process even though I was out of state for most of the transaction. Basically the entire process was handled via internet and phone. He assisted in making sure that I got exactly what I was looking for in the new vehicle and worked hard to get me all of the discounts and rebates that were available to me. Then once everything was ready to go I threw them a curveball and asked to have the Tahoe delivered to me in Troy and he and Shane made it happen in a matter of a couple hours. The buying process could not have been easier, thank you to everyone involved.

So after speaking to mark at suburban Chevrolet about a faulty water pump on a vehicle I was sold he gave me a call and is making right by repairing it I have to say I was a bit worried I would be stuck with a faulty vehicle but this guy got right on the issue and is fixing the problem for me so after my original poor review I had to get on here to thank them for being understanding and having a great manager that is help me out.
