I cannot say enough good things about this dealership. Ive NEVER bought a car here, but theyve always treated me well. When I was going for cancer treatment at UofM, I was 20 years old. I was in sweats and scared to ask for a brochure (I am autistic), no one knew, they just treated me with respect and kindness. Since, 20 years ago, Im still treated with that same respect when I go take photos. I own a used Porsche I refurbished, and always get parts from them. Trust me, no other dealership is as amazing as Porsche Ann Arbor.
Brought my wifes Panamera in for its 1st service. The Service center was accommodating and provided a loaner for the day. We had been quoted a price before dropping the vehicle off and they let us know that the service was actually cheaper then expected so our finale bill was less then expected. Very honest. We will definitely continue to use them for the life of our Porsche ownership.
Had the best experience at this dealership, Phil in service is a class act and is very knowledgeable and professional. Also Chris and the rest of the team in the parts department are very helpful and have what you need in stock. Dont waste your time going anywhere else, best Porsche dealership I have ever dealt with.
This is the best Porsche Service center I have ever been to. Phil Kaiser was awesome to work with. Super easy to deal with their scheduling app on their website. Got a reply back from Phil the next day after I scheduled.Had my 16 Cayenne taken here for an upgrade to the OBD-2 software and a few warranty works. I was offered a loaner car and when there was a day that I couldn’t make it to drop off the loaner, Phil even arranged to drop my car off back home. I have never got this kind of service for any after-sales service ever, so this is the place to go for any Porsche service. You are never going to get this kind of service from any other Porsche dealership, so I am considering buying an additional after-market Porsche warranty from them. Thank you Porsche Ann Arbor!
Absolutely top notch. Phil in service and Eric in sales are true gentlemen. Best dealership in Ann Arbor. Best cars, too....
This is an outstanding dealership. Barry Strecker has treated my spouse and me very professionally and courteously and has made our dealings with Porsche Ann Arbor a real pleasure! Thanks for the great experience!
They are hands-down the best Porsche dealer I dealt with in the greater Detroit area. The first Porsche dealer I talked with and test drove were pretty douchey considering I don’t really look like the typical Porsche driver and was able to pay cash for my car, plus they made it seem it was near impossible to get a hybrid. The A2 dealer was not like that. They were willing to make a deal, and kept me up-to-date on the status of my vehicle plus went the extra mile by delivering my vehicle at home during Covid and adding extra special goodies just for me. JP and Barry were great to deal with. Highly recommend.
I have a lease with this dealer. Moved to other state and need put front license plate but cannot find bracket in the trunk, which is supposed to be with a new car. I called the dealer twice to ask to ship one to me. Although both time, people in the sale department said they will ship one to me but never happened. Is this what a Porsche dealer offers to customers?Update: my sales gentleman Jay sent the bracket shortly after my comment. It appeared he was not in the office when I called the dealer. I appreciate the promptness of the dealer management and Jay to help solve the issue. But I still think that other sales rep who promised me could do better.
Phil and Nick in service were great! They repaired my 2015 911 turbo which had a vibration issue that two other local dealers could not fix. Top notch customer service. I would recommend this service team to get your car fixed right the first time.
The service for the recall on my 2010 Porsche was great. While there I asked for car floor mats which had to be ordered. I was told that when the mats arrived I could pay to have them shipped to my home. Its been 2 weeks with several calls made to the dealer and message left with no return call. I guess that means that I need to go somewhere else to order my mats. Thanks for the service.
I cant speak for the new car sales, but regarding the service department, they are fantastic. The communication and work has been absolutely first rate. The dealership and service entrance is quite nice and they have been nothing but great to me.The service writer is one of the best I have ever worked with. Great job and thanks to this company!
I bought my Cayenne at Porsche Ann Arbor and have had it serviced there ever since. Phil Kaiser, the service advisor, and his team are great to work with and have done a consistently great job with my service needs. Everything is explained well and done right the first time, scheduling appointments is convenient and I get right in and out, into a Porsche service loaner. I couldnt be happier.
With my Pilot 2011 showing A12 service code, I decided to only do the OIL change at the dealership. The dealership experience was good. I liked their drive in setup for service, which is very comfortable. Also they did not even try to up-sell me any other service. I told them that I want an oil change and they did exactly that. No question asked. I also liked that they solicited my review here. Which shows their desire to shine and deal with bad experience upfront, instead of silently loosing business.I do have something negative to mention here. A12 code recommends engine and cabin filter replacement as well. I called the dealership ahead of time to find the costs. Where oil change and engine air filter ($20 something) were fairly priced, $70+ price for the cabin filter did not justify to me. The cabin filter price goes from $10 to $30 to the public that is even less to dealers. Replacement takes less than 5 minutes. I would like Germain of AA to help everyone understand, why is it so expensive to get the cabin filter replaced at a dealer?
Awesome dealership! Highly Recommended! Right away I was blown away by how friendly everyone was. We were very meticulous buyers, and Eric our salesman was very focused on helping us get what we wanted rather than just selling us a car. In the end we ended up getting a car that was already on the lot. The sales transaction was one of the most pleasant interactions weve had buying a car. We were given a very fair asking price and everything was completed efficiently. Overall, we were impressed by the quality of service and are looking forward to picking up our new car.
I bought my first Porsche, a 16 911 2S from this dealer. I cant say enough great things about the experience. Jay, my salesman, showed outstanding customer service to the end. Jay is highly responsive (he responds to inquires extremely fast) and I can tell he clearly cares about me as a client. He always does his best to get you a good deal.I cant see myself looking anywhere else to get my next Porsche...in fact, I am trying to find a way to get a 911 Turbo S from him, and hopefully down the road the numbers will work out for me!!
Christian was very knowledgeable about the used cars available and was always able to answer my questions. He was attentive, helpful, and efficient during the entire process from test driving to fitting my car with its plates. He also went above and beyond in helping me to set up my satellite radio, which was quite a hassle that he handled well.
The sales AND service experience thus far has been outstanding! I picked-up a diesel Cayenne on New Years Eve Day and the delivery process was terrific and I am looking forward to a great ownership experience. The vehicle has been superb thus far and anyone interested in having a great Porsche delivery experience needs to go to Ann Arbor and work with the great team that the Germain organization has helped establish and maintain since taking over in September of 2012. They have done an outstanding job and I appreciated all of the attention to detail and the relationships that have resulted of my recent purchase!
I was going to buy a new 718 boxster, the attitude of the sales was not very good, maybe he thought I couldn’t afford the car or because I am just a Chinese student ? I drove my BMW that day and after I told the sales I have multiple luxury cars, the attitude became a little bit better. I swear I will never buy car from here.
I went in for a 5k service a few days ago. Staff was friendly, and shuttle service allowed me to leave my car with them without having to rent a car. Service was done in a timely manner, and I have no complaints.
Highly recommended and a refreshing change from other local dealers/brands who shall remain nameless. From the first phone call, to the test drive, ordering and now into the service phase of Porsche ownership, the people Ive worked with (Jay and Phil) know their product and how to treat clients.
Friendly service with a loaner car. Very good with communication during the whole process.
This was my first experience since the dealership was sold by Howard Cooper. The staff was pleasant and efficient as usually. I took a shuttle to work which was comfortable and on time. The service turned out to be much simpler than I thought (and much less expensive). The technicial also explained a noise that I complained about and said that while the fix was expensive ($800+) I really didnt need to do it if I could stand the rattling-- very practical advice!
I drove two hours to see a 14 year old vehicle that does not fit the inventory primarily sold. Despite this, I was the first interested potential buyer (out of eight apparently) and also have significant knowledge regarding the pre-owned automotive industry and wholesale values. Germain Porsche wouldnt disclose the amount they purchased the vehicle for and the sales manager was not in sight (I was the only non-employee there). So basically, since I was the only potential customer, wouldnt a true leader be grateful and express his appreciation personally?? In addition, Germain Porsche said they made a mistake offering a price too low and that it will be raised several thousand dollars the next day!!! This is a franchise dealer representing a company obsessed with perfection and satisfaction!!! ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS YOUR MONEY!!!!
Im just a 14 year old kid who LOVES cars.I was very impressed and thankful to the worker there,I was not even there to buy a car,yet he was still very friendly,he even let me sit in all of the cars in the showroom! Thanks Porsche Of Ann Arbor,Hopefully I will be back once I can drive to buy a car;)
Had disc brakes replaced w/o any problem. Dealership was courteous enough to pick me up at work ahead of their shuttle schedule, so I was able to have minimal interruption to my daily schedule.
Just brought my car in for its regular service. Dropped it off when they opened and picked it up slightly before 5:00 p.m. when it was promised. The service was completed. The battery replaced under warranty as it tested bad. I was notified that my tires would probably need to be replaced next service. They accommodated my request not to call me regarding the vehicle and allowed me to authorize repairs up to an amount of my choosing. Since the vehicle is service regularly and I have no issues with it I didnt expect any to appear. An ethical company as they were authorized to do $1,000 in repairs and replaced the battery under warranty rather than charge me for it.
I have been doing business with this dealership for nearly a decade; with service, parts, and now, on a personal basis, the new car department. However, that said Ive had a taste of the pinnacle caliber of professionalism and customer service new cars delivers upon through the two prior new cars my Dad has leased from new cars in the early fall of 2009 & 2012. Ive said this before on countless past surveys and Ill say it once more; if you live in southeast Michigan and need anything pertaining to a VW/Audi/Porsche or interested in buying/leasing a VW/Audi/Porsche, this is your only stop, hands down.
Jay Douglas was very patient and helpful as I spent nearly a year looking at and test driving several new 911s, including base, turbo, and GTS models. Although I ended up buying a certified used turbo from out of state, I have great confidence in the sales staff at this dealership and would not hesitate to buy new or used from them. A good friend of mine purchased a used 911 from them and was very happy with his experience as well.Since purchasing my turbo, I have had two non warranty service experiences with Porsche of Ann Arbor. Both wear somewhat unusual requests, including steering wheel swap and deactivation of the power steering plus feature. The dealer had not done either of these before, but the service manager, Phil Kaiser, and the service technicians spent a lot of time to do the jobs correctly without overcharging me. The steering wheel swap and reprograming took around 4 hours. From what I read on porsche forums, this is about average time for a dealer that has not done it before, and people where generally charged for the actual time spent. Porsche of AA charged me book time of 1hour.I feel fortunate to be a Porsche owner, and very lucky to live near such a great dealership.
Great job guys, thanks for everything. Very seamless process!!
This place continues to provide wonderful and prompt service.
Great service just a oil change Car wash thrown in,,,nice touch
Excellent service. Friendly workers!
I have a 1963 Porsche 365B and these folks have helped me and gone out of their way to locate hard to find parts now on two occasions, THANKS
Very good
