So my phone was dropped off on a Tuesday with a problem with the head phone jack having been jammed. Originally they said they could fix it in 2 hours. So we waited in the car for 2 hours. We go back and they said another hour. We waited the other hour. Go back, not fixed they need to order a part. Said it would be fixed the next day. Call the next day. Was told no one ordered the last. Now its going to take a week. Call back the next week. They said give us another day. We did. Call back and they say to pick it up its fixed. We go to pick it up and pay for it. We get it and its not fixed. They said no one ever even worked on it. So they day to give them a few more days to order a part. We tell them no and ask for our money back. They tell us it might go back in 3 business days. Dont take your 1000+ $ phone there. Not professional. Gave us the run around for over 10 days.

I paid 160 to get my iPhone 11 screen fixed and didn’t realize after I left the store that my screen had a black spot on the inside of the screen and they would not replace it when I had my phone in the case since I had got it back and never dropped it. Said I had to pay another 160 to get fixed this is the worst service ever don’t waste ur money

Paid $340 to have my Iphone 11 pro max screen replaced. Picked it up same day and noticed the bottom of the new screen was not even completely attached to the phone. Immediately took it back in the store and they pressed on it and it snapped back in.A week later the screen started raising back up in that same spot again. It was after their closing hours so I very gently pressed that corner of the screen and it shattered.Called CPR to notify them the very next morning. They told me they would not do anything about it. This is their product and installation defect. They should cover it.

A timeline of my service…10/11: IPad was dropped off and employee told me it would be 1-2 days to be repaired10/14: I call back to the store because I haven’t heard from them and told they had to order the new screen.10/16: I call back to the store again because I haven’t heard from them and the nice gentleman said he would call me back. He called me back promptly and said it would be ready today but they close at 5 pm.10/17: Arrive to pick up the IPad and there is a crack in the new screen so they assure it will be fixed by next day.10/19: Pick up tablet. Go home and charge the tablet and it doesn’t work. The screen is defective and IPad is glitching.10/20: I call the store and speak to a nice gentleman who states if I drop it off tomorrow at 10 am and “it will be plenty of time” for it to be replaced by 4 pm prior to me leaving town. Gentleman explained that it was due to the screen and they would replace it.10/21: IPad is checked into the store at 10:02 am and call the store to check on status of IPad about 3 pm to be told it will not be ready until 5 pm. I explained to them they are not fulfilling the time requirement that was discussed by employee yesterday. I just picked up my still broken IPad 10 days after dropping it off.I would discourage others from doing business with CPR

My phone screen was not working after it was submerged in water. I was convinced the screen needed replaced. CPR cleaned my phone and after cleaning the inside they discovered the screen still worked. Very honest. Another time my charging port wasn’t working. Instead of replacing the charging port, they cleaned it. Again, they could have billed me for those parts but they were honest and only did what needed to be done.

He was working during covid out of his own home was very sufficient, quick and reliable. I would definitely recommend him and his work to anyone!

The young lady working there pulled out a pair of tweezers and cleaned out the port. Problem fixed. They could have charged me 50 dollars for a replacement, but they didnt. Kudos for that.

I cracked my phone screen and had CPR fix it through my phone insurance. They done well repairing the screen(which is why I gave 2 stars). A few days later after I got my phone back, I went to use my camera. Whenever I clicked the wide angle view camera button it shut down saying the camera failed. I tried everything I could from the internet to fix it first (software wise), with no change. I called CPR and told them what I was experiencing and asked if they could check the connections and make sure there was nothing wrong. They said sure they could with the limited lifetime warranty. So i took it back in to them (50 minutes from my house) and waited for an hour and a half so they could get the phone back and check it out. I returned to pick up the phone and they said fixing the camera is not under warranty but they could replace the camera for a lowered rate of $50. They never said anything about the connections of the camera or anything so I dont even think they took the phone apart in all honesty. Needless to say it was a waste of time and gas for me to go to the store for absolutely nothing. Granted the first desk lady was nice by all means so no issues with her.

Originally this particular phone was taking into a CPR store in High Point North Carolina and was supposedly supposed to be fixed. However the next couple of days the owner of the phone noticed that the screen was not responding very well to the touch and that’s what it went in for it had a cracked screen. We told the original owner to go back up there and to explain to them the issue however it was around when the pandemic started so of course there was chaos. Anyways we kept the phone for just in case kind of thing and I decided to take it to the CPR store in Winston Salem to have it fixed for my son’s Christmas present I explain to the associate what had happened in the first place and of course he had made the statement of she should have brought it back in which I fully agreed. They were able to fix it once yet again and as of December 2020 we have had yet no issues with the touchscreen also he was able to give me 10% off. I have gone to CPR High Pointand Winston locations for multiple things and I’ve personally for me have never been let down. I love CPR.

If you have an iPhone or a tablet then these guys are pretty reasonable. They do a good job with screen replacements and cracked screens on Apple products. If you have an Android phone or. Pixel beware. They had my phone for two weeks and locked it in boot mode. The customer service was very spotty with some people who were empathetic and helpful and others were aloof and unfriendly.

Never ever ever take anything here! Trust the bad reviews. For a gaming console, they will tell you one week on the phone, two weeks when you get there. After three weeks of the exact same claim of “there are four devices ahead of you” I became irate. 24 days after I dropped off the item they finished what they were going to do. Only, they didn’t actually fix my console, they broke it. It was a simple repair. The system now has a new rough sounding hum when powered on. It seems they intentionally broke it because I was unhappy that they didn’t even try to meet their quotes timeline. These guys are a scam. Avoid them at all costs!!!!

Called to schedule an appointment to install a screen for my LG Stylo 6. I arrived and was told the part was not there with no ETA of part. Went to a competitor who is much cheaper with an ETA of 3-5 business days. Take note from your competition, this is how you do business.

Terrible!!!! Had a busted screen, drove an hour drive one way 3 days in a row for them to ruined my phone and tell me water damage, when they was no water damage, because Ive been using it for over a week with a busted screen. And they still wouldnt refund me my money. Payed a $140 for nothing. I would not recommend this place at all. I would take it to Walmart before I would ever step foot in there again!!!!!

I was in desperate need of help when I accidentally put my cell phone through a full washing machine cycle. I thought all was lost but still took it to CPR and Jonathan helped me to salvage my phone. The battery was supposed to be replaced but its still not holding a charge for very long when I took it back I was told that they could order another one and try it this has been going for past 2 weeks. No call about the new battery being in so I called still no new battery. I was charged $54 for the battery. My advice would be not to use this company.

Do not take game consoles here! They had my PS4 for 8 days and did not touch it. I was told that I was 2nd on the repair list when I dropped it off and that it would take one week at the most. When I called to check on it, I had somehow moved to 3rd on the repair list so I told them that I would just come and get it so that I can take it elsewhere. All in all, a huge waste of time! Do yourself a favor and just dont fool with this repair shop. Very unprofessional!

I had issues with my Pixel 2 XL not charging properly. We called CPR up and they were very polite in answering our questions before asking us to stop by so they could examine my phone. Turned out all it needed was some minor cleaning around the USB-C charging port, which they did free of charge despite my insistence to pay for their time.Definitely recommended for their courtesy and professionalism!

My phone initially had the screen break and I took it to cpr phone repair to replace it and buy a new case. After getting the new screen, case, and screen protector the screen broke again. In spite of there being a screen protector it started malfunctioning about a week and a half later. They said they are not responsible for damage and charged again and told me a lot of times it can be pressure on the screen. Sounded reasonable to me so I stopped carrying my phone in my pocket and have been leaving it in my vehicle. I came out today and turned it on yet again my screen is malfunctioning.Buyer beware I have spent over $500 and am no closer to a satisfactory fix or learning why it keeps breaking down repeatedly a week or two after I get it back from them. I would have just bought a new phone if I was made aware of the risk of this.*edit to the owner* thank you for taking the time to respond but I don’t think you understand my issue, yes glass breaks and that’s why it needed to be replaced in the first place, I broke it. However glass does not magically keep the breaking repeatedly. The fact your staff refused to warranty anything in spite of it being less than a week with no scratches on the screen was the issue combined with the fact I took it to a different repair place and not only was it cheaper, the issue stops when I change who touches the phone. I’m a repairman myself and I get you can’t warranty everything, but less than a week and it’s breaking again IN SPITE of the screen protector i bought from cpr failing to prenvent the damage.Furthermore “ I’m sorry you broke your phone again” your response says a lot about your mentality.

Hit or miss. When they can repair it, they will do so with great speed and a great price. However, Ive had two occasions where I have submitted a phone to be fixed and it has sat in the back of their store for months. Each time I would go, it would be as if someone tried to fix it, couldnt, and forgot about it. No one was every familiar with the status of the device. A shame, because they otherwise deliver excellent service.

Phone wasnt charging right. Went in store. Minimal wait. The guy said there was a tiny bit of pocket lent in the back of my charging port. Removed it with tweezers. Phone charges great now. They couldve said anything was wrong with my phone and I wouldve probably believed them. They didnt take advantage of an easy fix. Super honest people. Highly recommend.

I brought in my phone with some minor cracks on the bottom of the screen. The phone was in perfect working order and had no dead pixels or ailments to the touchscreen. Simple repair for the experts here right? Wrong. Seven days and one completely broken phone with absolutely no display later and Im told by the manager, theres nothing we can do. The he asked what I would like to them to do, and I requested my phone either be replaced or fixed. He laughed and said, we arent going to replace your phone and weve already tried to fix it. I hung up and took it to uBreakiFix. They confirmed my phones motherboard was damaged beyond repair due to improper handling by CPR Cell Phone Repair. Avoid this place at all costs.Edit: to the owner. The only person who misinformed me was you. The damage was done to the MOTHERBOARD, during the repair. The four (you told me three last week?) separate screens you tried didnt work because you damaged my phone beyond repair. These issues werent obvious prior to you working on my phone because they were not present at that time. The professionals at uBreakiFix documented all of the damage done by your company and I will be attaching them to this post as soon as I am home from work.

Get any Zagg products under warranty and install yourself. They’ll charge more to install it than getting it directly from Zagg but won’t tell you this upfront.

I recently dropped and broke the screen to my iPad. As an operator of a Commercial Motor Vehicle, my electronic logging device is loaded onto the iPad. I am required by law to log my activity 24/7 and cannot do without my device while on duty. Leaving the device overnight was not an option for me. I took my device to the fine folks at CPR and they understood that I needed my device back same day while I was off duty.After ordering the necessary part, I brought my device in at the previously agreed and scheduled time on Saturday and the repair was completed within 4 hours.Instead of covering up a minor flaw that occurred during installation, they owned up to it and I was offered the option of reordering a new screen again or accepting the current one with a small discount included in the final price.The folks at CPR were recommended to me by a coworker and I was not left disappointed. I will definitely take any future related repair needs to CPR without hesitation.

This is the worst place ever....I just left there now to complain about my sons PS4 HDMI port they repaired and got bad within a month...They made me look a fool and suggested I get it repaired again to pay another full price now ain’t that ridiculous for something I brought back with the same fault they just repaired?????..

I bought a refurbished phone from CPR for my dad. My father was having a constant ringtone and I was too busy to help. My parents came to store from Burlington and the store was able to fix phone while they waited! Can’t beat good customer service!

The front desk girl was very sweet, and the tech was outstanding, even though we did not get the phone to work, he explained that my Verizon refurbished phone had massive salt water damage, and may I add that the phone belongs to my 12 year old son, and we live nowhere near a beach in the middle of North Carolina, so lesson learned.... be weary of refurbished phones by Verizon! CPR is great, honest business. By the way they did not charge for opening the phone to diagnose!

I was 100% satisfied with both of my visits to CPR. They first did a warranty repair and later applied liquid glass screen protector. Both times they promptly got me in and completed the work in the time frame quoted. I will use them for all my cell phone repair / accessory needs.

My phone suddenly stopped charging and started overheating when I tried to charge it and it was just barely out of warranty. I live on my phone. I panicked. A friend of mine recommended this store after she had to have the power button on her iPhone replaced, she said it wasnt very expensive to fix and they got it done in a reasonable amount of time. I figured it might be cheaper than buying a new phone so I decided to give it a shot. I dropped it off to have it looked at (by this point Id already been without any phone for a week, I figured screw it). They told me they would look at it and email me when they had determined if they could do anything. The staff was very friendly, no pressure and no promises that they couldnt keep. They emailed me the next day to let me know that they could fix it, that my phone would need a new charger port but that they didnt have it in stock and would order it for me and gave me an estimate. It took another week but it was worth it to not have to buy a new phone. Im thrilled to have my phone back in one piece and they were even nice enough to charge it for me so I could use it as soon as possible. I would definitely come back here if I (god forbid) had another phone problem and I would highly recommend at least bringing your phone for an estimate if something goes wrong with it.

After the Sprint store next door couldnt help with the basic task of replacing my phone with all necessary information provided, I happened to see CPR next door. I needed to travel soon, and in less than an hour I left with a refurbished Note 4 at a steal of $125! (Costs $240 new) The phone works great, and their service was excellent. I could not recommend them more.

I was back in Winston on a reunion trip, and my old phone died. I went in to see if they had any good used iPhones, which they did. Very reasonable prices, and the employee even found a nice Otter case for me. It was fast, easy, fun. Ignore the young, whiner generation, that doesnt understand the difficult nature of electronics repair. I do, and these guys seemed fine.

Never take a device here to replace the digitizer!we took an ipad air here to get a new digitizer and all they did was make it worse! now it won’t even turn on! (they use glue to hold the screen down)

Im pleased with the quality of their customer service and have been since the initial encounter. That he/corporate took the time to reach a fair resolution is more than I expected. I dont recommend this place, my cellphone wasnt charging and I went there for ATT store recommendation, I waited for more than 2 months! first they changed the battery, and when they did it they broke the back glass and replaced with and aftermarket pieces with less quality, then the cellphone was able to turn back on but it wasnt charging at all so they played with it and changed a bunch of pieces, finally they said they were unable to fix the phone, so I pick up from the store and took it apart, finding missing screws, parts and now is not turning on, not even with a new 100% charged battery, so it is worse than before, also they forgot to put the Simcard tray back and now I have to wait for them to order a new one, probably aftermarket too and maybe 2 more months. There are better places to go, with better quality and better service. Please dont waste your time there.

I will never go to this place again. The young lady at the register was rude. I explained to her what was going on with my phone and she said that I PROBABLY needed a new battery. I told her that I had just had the battery tested and it was fine. She proceeded to give me my phone back and turned her attention to the next customer. She never suggested a diagnostic or anything. Never acknowledged what I was saying to her. So I left the store with a still broken phone.

I was really happy with the interactions I had with all employees. From my initial phone call and questions, through dropping off my device, to picking it up much quicker than anticipated the whole experience was enjoyable.

Had to take my phone back 4 times. The last time they refunded my money which was good. Very unhappy with this place as I asked before I let them work on my phone if they were using Apple grade glass for the screen replacement. They assured me they were using the best quality. After I brought it back the 2nd time they said “they would put the really good glass on this time” so they lied about using the “best quality glass” the first time. Upsetting. Then when they refunded me my money, I asked to have my apple screen put back on so I could take it directly to Apple to have them fix it. They found a screen like mine and put it on and refunded me my money. This is after bringing it in once a week for a month due to problems with typing and shaking and not functioning properly. 🙄😠

Paid $199.99 to have the phone fixed. Got home and learned that the screen they said they repaired still wasnt repaired or even put on correctly. Light was coming out of the bottom of the phone. Brought it back to have them fix it again. Waited over 2 hours both times now. Got my phone back, screen still was not fixed. Had to then pay an express fee of $20 to have them fix it that day even though they had now had my phone 3 times to fix a simple screen crack. And the lady at the counter absolutely could not care any less about your phone or your irritation with their horrible customer service. Just absolutely do not go here. Too expensive and they dont compensate you for having to bring your phone back twice after initial fix.

My sister had referred me to this location because I had asked her if she knew of any places in Winston Salem that’s really good with Cell Phone Repair. So, everything within my experience from start to finish was absolutely perfect! The price for my iPhone 8 Plus to be repaired was $138.00, which is really good because other people charge around $200. Very good customer service, and in the store they have incipio screen protectors, as well as lifeproof, and otter box cases.

Recently took my Galaxy S8 in after I cracked my screen. They finished my repair in just under an hour, and even talked with me about suggestions for a case for my phone(I went with an Otterbox). Very great service and everything even comes with a lifetime guarantee! Worth every penny.

Excellent customer service. 4stars was bcuz I was told that if I brought the phone before 5:30 then the battery could be done before closing and that did not happen. However, ordering the battery was prompt. I was thrilled to get this done with so little hassle. It has been 4days and is great.

Super fast and very friendly

I went in for a simple screen replacement as mine was cracked (still worked fine, though). Although they replaced it the price was WAY too high. Well the next day the screen that they replaced popped off so I took it back. They fixed it but now my screen doesnt respond to touch rendering it useless since I cant view or answer texts or receive calls. I guess it will work as an expensive flashlight. They also scrapped the finish off around the top of the phone and left dents along the outside. I would not recommend this store to anyone. I am so angry. I cant use my phone and their store doesnt open again for another 2 days so I can have them fix what theyve screwed up 2 times now. Honestly how careless can you be to hand over a device to a customer without checking the very basics to make sure it works?
