I typically pay for my items out right, but my dryer broke and I had to, unfortunately, use this service. My family and I were constantly badgered for payments that were 1 or 2 days late. This included calls to my job, wife, mother, and mother in law more than a few times. I understand that paying on time is a part of the contract, and I should uphold my end. However, when speaking to staff, Penny in particular, I was talked down upon. She was extremely rude and condescending. How she became a store manager is really beyond me. If upper management has a chance to see this, please enroll her in some courses so that she can do her job properly. Her threats to come get the merchandise for a mere $33 rubbed me the wrong way. I’m not sure what type of clientele they are used to running over and taking advantage of, but I’m not one of them.
This place is absolutely HORRIBLE! They told me they could get the furniture I wanted from another store, then couldnt so I had to pick something different that was more expensive. They delivered the couch and loveseat and the couch was broken and they refused to fix it saying the furniture was from rooms to go so they couldnt fix it or get another set that wasnt broken. They failed to bring the table set when they brought the furniture. Claiming they were fixing them. I had to keep calling them asking them when they were bringing tables. Then they called and said they didnt trust the tables. Had to go pick more out they said would be the same price as my original choice if not cheaper it ended up being twice as much. My total for everything I got was suppose to be 298 and ended up being 402!! They are liars and treat people horribly.
Terrible service! First when we signed up for our stuff we were told our items would be delivered the very next day.....but an hour before delivery time is when they decided to call the references and our apartments which delayed it all because they did it so last minute. I had to go back to the store me and my husband because they forgot to get our ids the first time. Then because they waited until the last minute they couldnt reach one of our references. I even had my job call up there to verify as well as my husband. The manager talked to both of our employers but then the next day claimed they couldnt get a hold of them which made NO SINCE AT ALL. OH AND THATS NOT ALL....we ended up waiting 2 days for our things to be delivered. The guy Adam did at least give us that week free since we didnt even have the items and had already paid the first part.....after only 2 weeks I believe of having the items they got a bit harassing. Our bill was due on Saturdays, every Saturday but they would begin calling us on Friday. Which one have been fine for one reminder, however they went overboard. They would call my husbands phone multiple times when he works as an electrician and dont have time to talk all day. Then just this past Saturday the store didnt close until 7pm....they called my husband 12 times to remind him the payment was due that day even after him twlling them we were on our way back into town and would make it before closing. After paying the bill my husband was very frustrated and we decided to terminate our lease with them and called them first thing Monday to tell them to come get their items this week. We will be trying a different furniture company. Customer service at this location was just poor. 👎👎
Havent had any experience at this store but if this is the same manager Adam that was at the Northside store then i understand your issues with him so sorry!
Horrible experience. I returned my rental property and they notated in my account that I did not return anything.
I never have a problem getting anything from them Mr. Lester always look out for me he is the manager at the one on Peters Creek in Winston-Salem North Carolina
They were very nice to me, and very helpful, even tho I had to come back 3 times cause the phones they sold me were messing up ( turning off, broken, not turning on,.....etc.) my overall experience was really nice
