High recommend this auto zone, Angel helped us hook up leds in our car and was overall really cool, definitely will be coming to this autozone from now on

Very poor customer service. Went in to the store on the 26th for a simple hose. Nope they didn’t have it. Ok no big deal they said it could be there next day... never showed up. Here we are 8 days later I called and nobody answered. Waited 5 mins to call and I call it’s half or wait on hold just to be told my part was never even shipped/ordered... if I could rate zero star I would.

This is the newest of the Auto Zone stores in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Im not committed to shop at a given automotive store versus another, as I generally look for the best price before I decide where to go. The reality is there are only a few aftermarket part manufacturers, and they generally brand their product as needed. So, it becomes a price based decision for most.One particular visit here, I had ordered online a full set of brake pads and rotors for a 2014 Jeep Patriot. The AutoZone online ordering system stated that everything was in stock, but when I showed up one of the front rotors wasnt available. Their nearest location with stock was Hazleton, PA.It was late at night, and I didnt want to wait for it to be shipped the next morning, so I informed the clerk that I would drive to Hazleton and pick it up. He was very apologetic for not having the rotor stock and help me out by giving me a gift card to compensate for the inconvenience.The only negative thing I will say is that when I arrived in Hazleton, they looked at me like a calf looking at a new gate. Blinks all around. Something must have been lost in a translation. Anyway, we finally got that sorted out, and I was on my merry way.

Placed a large order for curbside pickup. It was filled and ready in 18 minutes, pickup was effortless. Good customer service.....time is money!

Every AutoZone I go to always have wonderful customer service the guys and females behind the scene and running the customer service show are always willing to help with genuine advice also usually most of the time theyre more knowledgeable than the mechanics themselves.... Plus why wouldnt you want to buy your parts at a place that gives you lifetime warranty... the honesty and dedication these guys put in their work is uncomparable they honestly dont get enough credit and recognition that they deserve.. the parts might not always be 100% on point but you always have a lifetime exchange warrenty... I will never agree with when other shops that try to say they have to order your parts for you to work on your car because of insurance reasons then what happens to your warranty if the part goes bad... you have to return to that same mechanic because they have your warranty OPEN YOUR EYES PEOPLE THESE HONEST AUTO PARTS EMPLOYEES ARE TRUE ESSENTIAL WORKERS THEY INFORM YOU SOMETIMES EVEN TELL YOU HOW TO FIX YOUR CAR YOURSELF AND THEY HELP YOU KEEP MONEY IN YOUR POCKET FOR A LONG RUN 💯😉

This is for the Wilkes-Barre location. Stopped in to get new wipers. Was helped by Justin Tomsen. He was super helpful and sweet! Helped install the blades and even checked my wiper fluid and topped it off for me! Very kind individual and gave excellent service. Thank you!!

Only get the four out of five stars only because I personally dont use the shop but my dad whos is 54 loves it he fixes his car he fixes everything hes a very good mechanic so he gets all his parts from here in employees are so nice he knows practically almost everyone and he says the first time he ever went there they were so kind and so polite definitely would recommend

Greeted immediately upon entry and asked if I needed help. I knew what I needed but the girl at the counter still offered to check in the computer for exact numbers- awesome experience overall as she helped me nail down a better product!

Went in to get my battery checked. Justin tested my battery, priced out, and installed a new battery in maybe ten minutes, while it was raining. Super fast and helpful. Would definitely recommend this store.

Probably the only auto parts store I go to anymore. Good deals and pricing is always fair. I had bought fixAflat to use on my gfs tire who was stuck at the mall and when I went to use it, it exploded from the bottom of the release valve on top. I went back to store and as soon as I mentioned what had happened, they immediately told me to grab a new one in replacement of the non-working one. Class act store who truly helps out. Ohh and if you are replacing your windshield wipers, go here and theyll put them on for you! Really helped as I had no clue how to change a Priuses back windshield wiper.

On 11-24-2020,I needed a radiator holes. I went to kidder st Autozone. Daniele took care of me. she said that the holes was at the south Wilkes barre store. I said to her that I would not make it there. So her shift was over. she said to me to wait here and she went to south wilkes barre store and got it for me. Had she not done that I would of had to walk to work. I am 59, and disabled veteran and I tried to give her money for gas, she sad no. she was just glad to be able to help me. Expensive parts. But when you need the part that day I guess you have to pay to play and its not the employees who work theres fault so dont take it out on them.

Picked up some detailing supplies and wiper blades.Fair prices, decent selection options and good customer service.Installed the blades, no charge, and even went back in the store to grab a proper blade for my rear window, as the one I bought was not designed to fit my vehicle.

More expensive than online like ebay but most everything on hand when you need it

I just purchased a vehicle and was having issues with the light for the check engine. I went to Autozone so they can run a diagnostic check. The manager Justin came out to assist me. He was very helpful and a straight shooter. I dont know much about vehicles, he answered all my questions and I left there feeling pretty good. Thanks for the service Justin !!

Well-stocked store if your looking for stuff like lights, tools, cleaning products, etc. that dont have to be looked up and look for the part. Wilkes barre autozone is more stocked with parts that are behind the counter.

Great place to shop for your Auto partsMany of the parts here have limited lifetime warranties which means free replacements of the part as long as you own your vehicle. Always call ahead to make sure that your part is physically available because the website inventory isnt always correct.

I stopped going to (hannover twnshp) autozone as the staff does not wear masks during covid they wear it around their necks maybe so if corporate shows up they can slide up otherwise they are slow, they answer the phone and tell you to hold on and places you on a hold to the point you have to go to store and when you show up its depressing considering the first impression is being on hold or ignored so that when you do show up your nervous of getting sick, or even finding what you need. The one on kidder st is 100 times better.

If I could give certain employees 5 stars in the different stores I would. There are some good, helpful employees out there!!!!!. Theyre just hard to find.Depends on the experience of the person at the counter. Some have automotive experience that can help with getting parts and products. Some have no clue.The inventory computer system is set up to need VIN number,engine size, etc. Some customers have no clue.Those staff that have no auto experience, I just work around. Sorry to sound arrogant, but as Ive was married to an auto tech for 29 years, my son is an auto tech and my boyfriend is, I have some background. I know basically what I want when I go look in.I cringe when I hear staff meaning well try to help but have no clue. An auto parts store should be customer supportive enough to focus on hiring those with some auto experience.If you have no auto knowledge, Ask(!!) when you go in who in the store has the most & work with them.ALSO, check the parts box to be sure the correct part is in the box!!!! Some locations, the customers return used parts in the boxes, state that its unused. The staff rarely check the boxes of the returned item and refuse the return part if its used or the incorrect part.Ive had this happen in just about every store Ive been in.

I got in my car to leave work and it was raining. When I turned on my wipers, one wiper had a long piece of rubber hanging off!! I was afraid to use the wipers for fear of damaging my windshield. I drove straight to the store and a very nice gentleman not only got me the new wipers I needed, but went out into the rain to install them for me!!! Great experience and such friendly staff!!

I called there when my battery died on my car and she took time out of her busy day to come and rescue me and my family,gave us a jump and made sure we were ok. She also made sure we got the best customer service while at her location. Informed me of the best option for my vehicle and what the warranty covers. Shes the nicest and most sincere person Ive meet in a service job. If you are in need of parts or help with your car stop there and ask for her! Dont forget the name APRIL!

This rating is relevant to the Tunkhannock store. I truly like this store, but there are times they get backed up simply because they dont know how to manage customers . For example: While in line for quite some time waiting for my turn, when all of a sudden the phone rings and the counter person answers as if the caller was next in line....total mismanagement. I have also been in the store with other customers waiting, and at times noticed an employee working in the back, which is very annoying. Point is, customers come first, then when things get slow, the employee should take the opportunity to stock shelves or whatever.

Ehh they sell auto parts. What more can i say. They usually have what i need.

Just needed a scan of the check engine light. Boom...done...fast no questions. Explanation of code and procedures to take moving forward. Would highly reccomend this Autozone.

John i think he is a manager here. Is outside smoking a cigarette while talking to a female customer while another rep is currently working on another customers car. There is a long line inside, we all have been waiting here for 15 mins.. This is absolutely absurd..

Didnt have Master cylinder bleeder tool.Didnt have Master cylinder replacement bolts.

Ok of you need something fast. If it can wait a day or two you are better off using Rock Auto. Even with shipping it is still cheaper for the same level parts.
