I had a wonderful experience at Verizon today! Dennis was extremely helpful in assisting me. From start to finish, he was very professional and explained all of the options to me. In addition, he answered all of my questions and addressed my concerns. I was very impressed with his wealth of knowledge and positive customer service skills. Verizon is lucky to have such an incredible employee representing their company! Thank you again, Dennis, for your time and AWESOME help today! YOU ROCK!
When I walked in, the manager Luke greeted me and asked how he could help today. I had a long sorted story about my phones; way more than he needed to hear. Yet, he listened and gave me all the next steps that I needed to solve my problems. Excellent customer service still does exist in 2021.
I was in town and came into the store near the end of the day with a phone issue. My charging cable wasnt staying in place. The 3 women on duty assessed the problem and cleared the blockage from the charging port. I was really impressed how personal I felt in that store. They treated me like, they had known me for years. I would recommend this store for anyone looking for help with phone problems. They are very good at their jobs at this site
I’d recommend avoiding this location at all costs. They charged me for two separate phones even though I only purchased one and will not remove the second device charge from my bill.It’s also not possible to get a hold of anyone at this store at anytime.
Tyler helped us yesterday when my boyfriend’s business phone died. He was absolutely wonderful. He took us right away, told us all of our options, explained everything clearly and in simple terms and we were out of there with a new working phone in under 30 minutes. Brought a friend here to get a new cell phone and plan. They did everything they could to get him a new plan. Didn’t work out but they were very helpful during the process great staff!

On Friday, 22 we were trying to buy a new iPhone 8 plus.. it took us half an hour to explain to ‘specialist’ (exactly in inverted commas) which line we wanted to use.. She asked ten times or even more about the number... she tried to understand.. but she couldn’t .. we explained, that we don’t want this phone on exact lines, but we just didn’t remember the empty line number.. she asked again and again about it.. so our question is WHAT FOR do they need those “portable very helpful devices” in their hands, if she even couldn’t decide which number we wanted to use, in the case that we excluded two from three..So, finally we bought it.. but a consultant, who has ‘been working for 15 years in sales’ (than she told 20 years) and was repeating it a lot of times.. so such type of customer consultant MUST know, how to work with clients and... by the way.. at least SHOULD try to keep calm instead of being annoying, while a customer explains the same situation for the third time to the manager ..I hope, we will never come back to this office..(Two stars only because of the fact, that we bought a phone)

Highly disappointed with the customer service here, if you can call it that. I understand that its Covid times, but they dont even care to try giving you options when youre there. Niccole was horrible, and just kept trying to rush me through the process like get your phone and go. She had more time with pointless and awkward small talk, then actually providing me with information I was seeking. Even after she acknowledged that I dont use that much data, she quoted/recommended unlimited plans that are overpriced. Not sure if this was sales quota she was trying to achieve, or just Verizon greed! I would highly recommend you go to another Verizon store, then this one. Trust me, you will be left disappointed or overcharged here!

The worker at the front door was rude and didnt want to do his job. Would rather send me online to do any kind of verizon service. Lied about the appointment that he had available and helped another customer after I left, because he couldnt help me. Will never use that location again. Will be switching to another carrier.

I tried to help my friend get her phone fixed. They were very insistent upon it having water damage so they talked us into getting a new phone. We went to another store to help with a set up question on the new phone. The other store employees told us there was no water damage and to go back. When we went back the manager was adamant he was right and he would call the other store to confirm. It sounded a little odd having received 2 different opinions. So I stepped outside for 5 minutes to call the other store. When I tried to go back in, they refused to let me in claiming it was closed and no one was allowed to enter the store. I will also be making a phone call to customer service.

Came in about a week ago. Omg. So amazing. COVID-19 precautions taken everywhere in store including employees. Denzel, the man who helped me with my completely jacked up phone, was quick, kind and hilarious. And he hooked me up with a Teacher discount that I had no clue even existed. He got me in and out with a new phone and case in 10 minutes. He is AWESOME!!!! Somebody promote this guy ASAP!!!!
Trish is the person to see if you need something in this store! I walked in needing some type of newer model phone. She was very informative, not pushy, and let me decide what worked best for me. I was undecided on what I wanted to do as far as getting a plan but she helped me out and even gave me a few days to think about it and didn’t hassle me about anything! Overall she was fantastic and has great customer service. Just go in and ask for the short one, and she will come out!
I want to say Trisha at your hilltop store is the best person I have ever had to wait on me. She explains everything with a smile on her face no question she can not answer for me. You all are very lucky to have her working for Verizon she makes coming to the store a pleasure Reva stein
I finally convinced my husband to upgrade his phone. He was eligible almost a year ago. The store was very crowded but within 15 minutes we were being helped by Trish. She was amazing. By the time we finished my husband was completely happy with the purchase and the whole experience.
The Little One was amazing with attention to customer service. My phone issues were solved in the, easiest, smoothest experience, Ive had in a long time. So grateful to have my photos restored.
My bf and I went in to upgrade his phone on 12/31/19 around 1:30, and possibly mines but they didn’t have what I was looking for. We were greeted by a maybe middle aged African American lady. Everything started out great but when I refused the deal on the accessories I immediately felt like I was being lectured for not buying accessories from Verizon. I felt like I was constantly being judged for every decision I made as far as the plan I currently have, insurance and the way we chose to purchase the device. We were told the way that she would do it and almost ridiculed for ours. I didn’t appreciate the service I received today. I’ve never been judged on how I choose to spend my money and I didn’t asked to be judged today.
Trisha Linderman deserves 5 stars for outstanding customer service. I have a business account which involves a few extra steps when making any changes to the account. Trisha went above and beyond to service my needs, going so far as to assist me on her day off! Thank you Trisha!
I was directed to this location to replace my phone which would no longer operate. Customer service had called ahead and Corey was waiting for me with a replacement. He took the time to explain the new plan to me and went above and beyond to find the backup information from my old phone to download to my new phone. I had my children with me, and they were entertained by the interactive gadgets on display. My daughter also needed to use the restroom and although there are no public restrooms, a very kind employee allowed us in the back. I cannot say enough nice things about this location.

Had two very positive interactions with this store. I was having phone trouble, and the employees were quick to attempt to find a solution. They were personable, funny, and efficient. In particular I would like to call out Anne Hoke. She rapidly diagnosed my phones problem, and pursued two separate solutions. All this took place less than ten minutes after I walked in the door. Im a very happy customer.
Ive been a long time Verizon customer. I was in this store a week ago needing to make some big changes to an old plan, and set up a new one. Plus, my iPhone was due for an upgrade. I fully expected it to be a hassle and it was not. The person helping me was Michael and he did a superb job. He knew his job well and worked to get me the savings I needed as I set up my new plan. Thanks to Michael, I continue to be a very happy and loyal Verizon customer.

Bought a Verizon Jetpack. I had wifi where I lived, just not very good. I wanted better so I got a jetpack. I went back to this verizon store again and the guy told me if you have wifi use it over the jetpack, but thats why I got it. On the RV road they said this would be perfect. I have to reset factory settings evey time I use it. been hours with tech support. Ug. Now they think the sim card is bad, so I have to go to a store and get it replaced. Lets see if that does the fix.
This was hands down the best customer service experience Ive had at any store with any cell phone company. The wait was a little long (15 mins) but as soon as I was up it was good from there. A representative by the name of Cara helped me, I had a unique situation and she offered the best options and was quite flexible. I even had to leave and when I came back 35 minutes later they didnt make me wait and put me back together with the same representative. There is a Verizon retailer within 5 minutes of my house but from now Ill make the 15 minute trip just to come back here.
I had my cell number fraudulently ported to a track ph at Best Buy which instantly caused my phone to stop working (Im in real estate and this is a very very bad thing!). I immediately went to the store at Hilltop and Nicole (sales) and Dave (manager) vigorously jumped on this issue and did everything they possibly could. They stayed on it for 4 hours, while I was there, without ceasing but could not get my number ported back. They continued to work on it until the store closed and called to give me an update that night. The next day they called and asked me to come to the store. We tried multiple ways to get the track phone company to port my cell # back to verizon but no success. They gave me a temporary number to use while they continued to retrieve my #. Due to rules regarding the porting of numbers it took a week to get my number back but they were able to successfully recover my cell #. Dave and NIcole were relentless and throughout the process were professional and kept me hopeful. If you need a new phone, help with your existing phone or just information about any of the services Verizon offers I highly recommend that you go to the Hilltop location and ask for Dave or Nicole and Im confident they will give you the same level of superb service that I received.
Great customer service in November, 2015. The rep was very knowledgeable and explained features of the phone I was interested in. I could tell he wanted to make sure I was happy before I left. I had no wait when I went there at 5:00 on a Friday evening. I didnt buy a phone that day, but I plan to go back specifically to that store versus all others that I have been to in Virginia Beach, VA.
Watch where you buy the stuff for your phones because if it stops working you cannot return it to just any Verizon store. I tried to return a charger I bought 60 days ago that stopped working, but because this store doesnt sell that brand they would not do the return. Although the staff here was courteous, the policy itself is confusing and very inconvenient for the consumer.
Miserable service by manager. Short blonde totally different if you want to buy hardware. Completely dismissive if working an issue.
Lousy customer service. Girl that greeted me asked what brought me in. Told her I was on Edge and thinking of upgrading. Told her I saw Verizon dropped the six month requirement on changing phones. Looked at me like I was crazy. Asked where did I hear that. Told her its on the front page of the Verizon website. Took my first name and said someone would be with me. Twenty minutes later and seeing salespeople working with people who came in after me, I left.
Horrible experience. No customer service. Representative rude and dismissive. Manager became aggressive with us when we questioned why they no longer help you set up your phone. Store has gone downhill in recent years. All the good reps have left. Do yourself a huge favor and go to a different location.

On 08/25/16 I went into this store to try to help a family member with their phone service, and it appeared to be a scam. The staff member claimed that they could not help us with our plan and that we would have to contact Verizon. I said that I was at Verizon. I was given the run-around, my time was wasted, and I got nothing accomplished. My family member and I left the store and we got rid of Verizon. Be aware...this place is like a car dealership. Their interest is selling and selling more; it is not about helping existing customers with their plan to make it more efficient.
The only Verizon I pick to upgrade my phones and fix all of my issues! The staff is so great and helpful! Todd helped me a lot this last time I went and was so patient!
Had a phone issue and the first visit was wonderful, Danny was fabulous. Had to revisit this location and representative Marvella was horrid. Upon arrival and asking help with the new phone, her immediate response was, no, we dont help with this service. Marvella then walked away mumbling under her voice. She then went and whispered to another representative, staring at me the entire time. Another rep Mike came over and helped me. Again, another phone had to be ordered. Marvella walked over while Mike was helping me.....MIke asked her to logon to her tablet to help him, and Marvella said NO! This was her coworker and she said NO! Why would you have this woman as a representative in your store?????? Mike was great, but Marvella needs to be relocated where she has no interaction with people!!!!
Despite what other reviewers have said, I found the service and the knowledge of my representative, Wyatt, to be outstanding. I have been back a second time with questions and concerns, and he gave me all sorts of information and advice. Even though I live in Williamsburg, I will be coming back to this store for help.

I went into this store earlier today intending to buy a new phone. The sales person was not helpful at all and seemed to have little or no product knowledge whatsoever. She couldnt answer a single question and basically told me to go home and do my research because other people were waiting. I agree with the other post here. She should be relocated away from dealing with the public.
Went there to get a new phone..this short meaty rude employee has no knowledge about the phone nor manner. She approached with rudeNess, no smile, but annoyance and not a single piece of her is willing to help. Gives out false information due to ignorance, and most of answers were I dont know with the face again. Seems like she has no education in customer service nor how device works. I dont know why they have employees like that. She was forcefully kept asking why I am not buying case or other accessories, and she is definitely not customer friendly. Id rather buy online next time

I had possibly the worst experience in my life with a sales representative when I signed up for Verizon FiOS. The rep quoted me a price that was $10 below the monthly fee I was actually charged (I was later emailed a contract with the true monthly fee). No one in the store knew how to assist me. The reps manager promised to look into the matter but did not. The rep, who was supposed to be part-time, was never in the store on the 3 occasions when I returned, not even during her assigned hours. I think she stays in a nearby restaurant drinking slurpies. Please note that I have never before made a public complaint like this.
Verizon has the worst customer service and worst service ever. I had Verizon internet for 48 hours, the service was slower than dial-up, so I cancelled. Again, I only had service for 48 hours but it took me 4 months, from Aug to Nov, of continuous calling just to have my account cancelled and the bill refunded. The bill which they told me to not pay because it would be credited back was sent to a debt collection agency. After wasting multiple hours on the phone with multiple Verizon departments and personal I was able to correct my bill to zero balance. Verizon eventually took the bill out of debt collection because they made a mistake. I would never wish this headache on my worst enemy. I will never go back with Verizon internet.
I am not writing this as a review of price or anything beyond the customer service I received at this branch. I went to Verizon to create a new account. They were busy but after asking an associate about my situation he put me in the digital queue for service. My rep was Mr. Jordan Wesh and he immediately dove in to help. He gave me information without being pushy or overbearing and guided me through the process. Mr. Wesh was very accommodating when we hit an issue with my trade-in and everything worked out perfectly. I appreciated how Mr. Wesh took the time to break down the charges and when I made a decision contrary to his recommendation he did not push the subject.
Requested technical help on a phone they had sold me and the new staff shows they dont have any techs there to assist... Basically a selling store no longer a customer service

Marvette I great!!First, I really wish I didnt have to give a star at all.. By far the worst service I have ever had at a Verizon store. I was greeted and approached by Melissa a salesperson. I told her what I was looking for. I went in looking for the Samsung S6. I explained that I was an Apple user but I am in the processes of switching to an Android phone. I told her that I had already called 611 and the explained all the phone and what I was able to buy and what the specials were available to me. She looked up my account and told me that she didnt see those notes and the only thing she could offer me was $200.00 off the Droid thing. I was like no thats not what customer service told me. She said I dont see the notes and there is nothing I can do. I was very frustrated at this point. I left out the store and called 611 and at that point I got Keshia on the phone and she looked at my account and saw the notes from Tim that he has offered me an early upgrade with $200.00 off any smartphone with monthly payments. I then asked Keshia if she would be willing to talk to the lady at the corp. Verizon store I was currently sitting in front of. She said sure I went back in and asked Melissa if she would talk to customer service. Melissa stood there with a smirk on face and arms kinda crossed and spoke with customer service and saying No I dont see the notes and you will need to give her that offer. I then once again left store very upset at this point. Keshia offered to call the Hilltop store and see if they were able to see the notes and offer me the special that was offered by Tim. She called and came back on the line and told me that Hilltop see the notes and would be more than happy to help me. When I arrived at the store, I was greeted by the lady that signs you in. She got to hear the whole story and how frustrated I was from my experience at the Lynnhaven location. Marvette then showed me the Galaxy S6 and the Note 5. Needless to say I ended up with a Note 5 and two additional tablets. If you need to visit a Verizon store its well worth the extra time to go to Hilltop and see those gals there. Especially Marvette!!!!
The people at this store are so rude & condescending!! No one is helpful and they talk to you like your a moron. Theyve made my mother cry on 3 occasions. Switch to at&t or go elsewhere for help. There is NO customer service available here!
If you want to waste a couple hours of your day to have to leave before getting help this is the place to go. Wow wait times in the store are worse than on the phone.....
