My wife and I had gone to three other dealerships to try and trade or 2019 Jeep in plus some money down to lower our car payments and those three dealerships could not do anything for us. We ended up stopping at Vernon Volkswagen to see if they could help us out and they did they were able to take our trade pay off our Jeep for us and put us in another vehicle the same day with cheaper monthly payments. We were so happy and we love what they were able to put us in we now drive a 2019 Nissan Rouge and we love it. We would go back there again and again because they were able to go out of there way to make us happy we would also recommend our friends and family to go to that dealership and get a vehicle from them our experience was awesome. We want to thank everyone at Vernon Volkswagen who helped us out.

I bought a used Mercedes in August. I paid what they where asking. When i signed all the paper work. They only had one key to car told me they would take care of getting a spare. Took them 2 months to register car !! Keep asking them about the spare key they finally told me it was my problem to get the key. I spare key cost me $400. This type of dealership is only nice until u sign paper work!!! After that u are on your own!! Stay away if you are smart!!! lots of other dealer to buy from!!! This one not a good one!!!!

This is the third car I have bought at this location. It was amazingly easy and actually fun experience. Jed was great to work with and got me an excellent rate for financing. Only thing that could have been better was the car cleaning otherwise I Highly recommend buying a car at this dealership.

Got Trigger, my new-to-me, 2017 Volkswagen Tiguan yesterday, a HUGE step up from my 2001 Honda CRV, aka Put-Put. What an awesome first time dealership experience! Anyone shopping for a car in 2021 knows that inventory isnt plentiful. I had been to several other dealers (VW and otherwise) without luck. The team at Vernon WV went out of their way to find me the car I wanted and made the process of buying it very easy. Lots of followup to make sure I was happy and everything is ok. Nothing but good things to say about Vernon Volkswagen! Went in to buy an Atlas Cross Sport, and John and Pete got us a great deal on the one we wanted and and gave us a great value for our trade in! They didnt have the exact car I wanted on the lot, so John quickly found one on another lot and had it in Vernon in less than a week. Overall a great car buying experience. Highly recommend.

I usually dont have a good experience at Dealerships. But Vernon VW dealership was by far the BEST experience Ive had. Dave and Roger have GREAT customer service skills. They are polite, enthusiastic, and love helping you get what you want. They treat you as thou your a family member. If you want a good deal n great customer service I HIGHLY recommend you ask for Dave or Roger.

Absolutely terrible buying experience from start to finish. BUYER BEWARE! We were given every excuse in the book as to why they were “too busy” to assist us when we wanted to buy a brand new vehicle. Multiple messages via phone, email, Facebook were left and never returned. Salesman was not knowledgeable on the different trims and features available for the model we wanted and we felt tricked into buying a trim we had not wanted. The day we were scheduled to pick up our vehicle we were asked to come in at 5pm, then switched to 4 and then waited for an hour and a half with zero apology. When we got the vehicle home, there were a few issues with it and we called three times and no calls were returned so we had to physically go to the dealership for a response. No follow up calls or even a simple thank you for our purchase was made. We were extremely disappointed in the entire process. Normally we would complain to the owner but we are unable to find any contact information on social media or the website and the “staff page” is not even filled out online. Do yourself a favor and find a dealership that cares about their customers vs claiming they are too busy during every single interaction.

What a great experience I had at Vernon Volkswagen. Shopping for a new car was exhausting. I had looked at so many different makes and models before deciding on the Gti. Then became the business of finding the one I wanted. Enter Dave at Vernon. He worked and worked with Jed in finance to get the best trade in value for my mustang. No else came close to giving me the value of my car. And on top of that they got me an awesome interest rate on my loan. Tom was really helpful in showing me all the ins and outs of my new car. Had a great experience with Edwin in the parts department, my 02 jetta wagon blew a coolant hose and he brought a replacement directly to my residence within 30 minutes, allowing me to get to work on the repair right away. I wouldve chosen 0 stars if that was an option. This place is awful. The only nice thing I can say is they were nice to our faces. That being said, my boyfriend and I went in to get pricing information on a car. We informed them right at the beginning that we didnt want to do anything final or damage our credit scores because we were applying for a mortgage (an FHA loan at that) and had to make sure we got that squared away first. We shouldve taken the fact that we were the only people in the showroom on a Sunday night as a red flag. Not to mention half the showroom was dark for over an hour before they closed. There were only two sales people and two managers, which shows me, clearly, that they dont get much business. I used to work at a car dealership, in the sales department, and everyone was required to work open to close on Sunday because thats the busiest day of the week (especially right after everyone got their stimulus checks). Anyway, after we informed them that we were just shopping around for prices (because my boyfriends car had just broken down and we were debating whether it would be smarter to fix it or bite the bullet and roll his negative equity into a better car) and didnt want to commit to anything our salesman and his business manager were more than happy to help. We test drove a car and were talked into looking at leasing. Mind you were both young and neither of us has purchased a car without parental supervision before so we were not aware that it is normal practice to run someones credit over 20 times! We have now been denied our mortgage (after being told the only way we could be approved is if we put over $20,000 down on a house that isnt even valued at $200,000) because his credit score PLUMITED 50 points in one night! We called the dealership and spoke with the business manager, Jed, today and we were met with Im not sure that happened. We dont even have that many banks. After I explained to him that it was only about 5 or 6 banks but his credit was pulled by each bank between 3 and 4 times I was told Thats just something that can happen, you know. Not only have I worked at a car dealership before but so has my boyfriend (both of us in the sales department) and neither of us has ever seen someones credit pulled that many times no matter how hard the manager tried because they had the DECENCY to talk to their customer and let them know theyd be pulling credit quite a lot to get them approved. I was also told that its not really [his] fault that we were denied its my loan officers decision and [hes] not responsible. Excuse me?! Before I hung up, from being disgusted with their business practices and lied to (oh yea, he told us that he didnt see in his files that he ever pulled my boyfriends credit and then about three seconds later told us he finally found it because it was pulled under another name) he also said well Im not really sure what else you want me to do because this isnt our responsibility. Please, people, save your money and your credit scores. Find a better Volkswagen dealership ANYWHERE else, even if you have to drive a little farther. I promise itll be worth it.

On the way to my daughters driving test today, our Jettas blinker suddenly stopped working. We were told Vernon VW had the part we needed so we drove over. Not only did Edwin in Parts get us the part, but he helped us put it in. Then he noticed the bulb I had another mechanic swap out was incorrect and he fixed that too. He truly made us grateful through a very stressful situation. After today I will be bringing my jetta to Vernon VW for all servicing. Thank you, Edwin! And thank you Vernon VW!

I had a worst case scenario happened to me. I took my family out for dinner, and when we left the restaurant we realized I had a flat tire. So first things first. I went to loosen the lugs before jacking up the car. The wheel lock key I have was stripped, wouldnt catch, and I could not remove my tire to exchange it with the spare. My only options were get it towed. In which I live over a half hour away, or see what can be done through the dealership. It was 9:00 at night nothing was open so even if I got it home what next. I still have a flat. This is a problem for tomorrow. My brother came and picked us up. The next morning I went to the dealership. They supplied me with what I needed to get the car to there location and they handled it all no questions asked it was the best experience I have ever had at a dealership/garage. I just want to say thank you to everyone that was there and helped me and to have a wonderful holiday.

Unfortunately I had to bring my 2017 GTI sport with 35k miles for service to another dealer a week after I purchased it from Vernon Volkswagen. The common issue of a thermostat/water pump housing failure on the mK7 GTI (which had already failed prior to purchase) was not addressed in the CPO inspection before delivery. Amanda was attentive, friendly, and did her job exceptionally well. I had called for service after smelling coolant and was told I could go to any VW dealer (Really wish the service secretary had asked me to come to Vernon)...that was fortunate for me as Valenti Volkswagen was very close to me in Mystic, CT. Really wish I didn’t have to pay a $50 deductible for warranty work so soon after buying a CPO car. They were attentive enough to the CPO standard as they did put four new tires on (lowest quality per CPO standards) and replaced the front brakes (pads/rotors). Back brakes were very worn but within CPO spec by 1mm.

Everyone was amazing at Vernon Volkswagon!! I just purchased a brand new 2020 VW Arteon R-Line, and unfortunately hit a pothole causing my front-right rim to be bent terribly, plus ruining the tire. I had the insurance and Samantha pushed Allstate to replace the rim and tire instead of repairing it. They fixed me up and got me out there without having to pay anything!!These people are the best place to buy your new VW and trust me, THEY WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU!!Shout-out to JEFF, SAMANTHA, and JIMMY!!

If I could give more stars I would! I went out on Saturday to drive some cars as I had a lease that was coming to an end. I had no intention of buying a car that day. After visiting two other dealerships in the area (one was too busy to help me and one didnt seem to understand that I was really just looking to test drive some vehicles on my short list) I made one more stop to VW of Vernon. I was met by G in the showroom and he was totally willing to let me drive a couple of cars without any pressure. Of course, they had the exact car that I was looking for and it checked off all of my boxes. Needless to say, here it is Tuesday and my new (to me) Tiguan is sitting in my driveway. Dealing with G, Tom and Jed was the easiest stress-free car buying experience that I have ever had. Oh, and signing all of that paperwork to Grateful Dead music made it that much better!!! We are from NJ and on our way to Maine, the coolant level warning sensor came on. We didn’t want to take any chances and continue driving another 2 hours, so we stopped at this VW dealership as we were 5 minutes away. They were incredibly kind and helpful. I bought a refurbished CPO 2014 tdi jetta sportwgon in 2019. I put close to 30k miles in the first year I had it. The car has been a delight with a few issues that the warranty took care of. My experience so far has been delightful. I have dealt with Pete and his grace and welcoming character. He ease my concerns with my vehicle when a mechanical part malfunction. He presented himself and gave the green light for the service department to take care or if at no cost to me. That was eye opening, as it showed the conduct and respect this dealership has for its customers. Fast forward a couple months and a couple more thousands miles of pizza delivering (part time gig) I notice that my front pilot door was sticky and becoming a difficult task when opening it. Busy with my regular job I did not attend to it. Eventually, the annoyance became to much to bare so I made an appointment. When making the appointment I was unsure if the warranty would cover this issues (hinge in the door). I went in made the appointment and spoke to Sarah. Sarah must be an angel sent to make sure VW customers feel like a little brother under her big sister wings. During the process, I was told that part was not covered. However, Sarah decided to go beyond what was asked and initiate a relentless research quest to find out if my specific issue was covered. Again, to my surprise it was cover. Two days before bringing my car to have the door fixed. My tail gate shocks gave out and the door had to manually be held up or it would smash closed. I didnt say anything until the day I dropped my car. Once again, Sarah check and it was covered by the warranty. During this process Jeff made sure that my car was worked on with diligence and speed as he knew my car made me money (pizza delivery). I have to be honest, if you are thinking of buying a car and you know what youre going to use it for. I highly recommend you stop by VW of Vernon and make the second largest purchase of your life there because... they sell cars that last a lifetime.

I have purchased two cars from here. While I was not super happy with the price we landed on for the first vehicle I purchased here, subsequent experiences have been wonderful.With my first vehicle came with free maintenance. The people working in the service area are the only reason I came back to this dealership for my second purchase. The service people here are awesome. They do a great job, and they even provide customers with a video explaining what work was done and why. I never received any surprise charges when coming in for repairs. Everything I needed was covered by warrantee. The professionalism shown to me especially by Kevin was greatly appreciated.My first vehicle purchase here was a TDI which later ended up recalled due to the diesel emissions issue. Kevin was awesome in making sure I knew about the gift VW was giving before the settlement was ever a thing. Kevin really helped me to like Langan again, despite me feeling like I hadnt gotten the best price on my TDI.I voiced to Kevin the concerns I had about my first purchase (through a salesman named Brad who no longer works there, although I liked Brad and my issue was more with his sales manager who also no longer works there). Kevin highly recommended I speak to Maria LePage. Since Kevin had been so wonderful, I took his advice and gave Maria a call when I was ready to start shopping for a replacement to my TDI.Maria was everything Kevin said she was and more! I love her!! She is smart and sassy while being professional at the same time. Any need I had, she met. I had brought my TDI in for service, and she made sure to get me a loaner. The vehicle she found me was available before my give back appointment on my TDI, and she made sure to handle the details surrounding that as well. She took lots of time to make sure I learned the features of my new vehicle and that I loved it.I experienced some anxiety over some of the paperwork (as I tend to do), and she made sure to reach out to me to check to see I was doing okay. She was there for me every step of the way, and I cannot recommend her enough. In fact, I was telling Maria stories to my students, colleagues, friends, and adult children, because I was so amazed at how remarkable she was throughout my experience.At no time did Maria ever put pressure on me or make me feel like I was being roped into anything, and she also made sure to get me a fair price. I walked away with zero buyers remorse, and if I know anyone car shopping at all, I will be sending them her way.I have every confidence Kevin will continue to take great care of me in service, and if I need to purchase again I will be asking for Maria.

During sales somone attempted to sell me a vehicle with frame damage untill I asked for vehicle history. After purchasing a CPO vehicle there that lasted about 9 months, the service department has had their hands on my car 3 times and after having my car inspected by an independent volkswagon mechanic right after the third time, they found that the vehicle is still in disrepair. They refuse to reimburse me for financial losses caused by their unprofessional work practices.

I have very strong feelings when it comes to the customer service experiences Ive had when dealing with the auto industry. Those experiences left me with the loathing of car buying in general. Still....Im a gregarious sort... I simply cant help it. When I arrived at Langan,, I engaged everyone I saw in conversation. I was immediately impressed with the welcome I received. I wasnt treated like a client, or a customer, or a payday, but more like a friend that had come by for a cheerful visit. Purchasing a new car is serious business, but it should also be fun....and it was. I worked most directly with Mark R and he was the best sort of personality I could have asked for. Everyone I met, from management, to finance, to service just reinforced that this was unlike any experience I had before.Other dealerships should sit up and take note - THIS is what customer service should be! I got to the dealership as they were an hour from closing, even though their hours were listed differently online. If they had told me they were closing and asked me to come back, I would have. Instead I was rushed by the salesman, Jordan. I wanted the car in question but felt like it was being pushed on me.I know people want to go home after work but when you have a customer with you who waited around for almost an hour and NOW you’re closing, you help that customer as you would anyone else. Jordan was visibly impatient and annoyed and it was obvious that I was an obstacle to leaving rather than a valued customer.I have disabilities and reading comprehension issues and was rushed through the paperwork to apply for a loan so quickly that I was barely sure what was happening and made anxious to the point that I felt very uncomfortable. I wanted to leave but needed a car quickly to get back to my life.Once everything was “all set”, I went in and filled out paperwork. When I originally looked at the car, I was concerned about some pretty nasty stains on the interior as the car is used. There was also a sticker stuck to the dash that needed to be removed. Supposedly, the car would be fully detailed before I came to pick it up. It wasn’t. When I picked the car up, the leather around the shifter was full of dirt, there was still a crumbling sticker stuck to the dash and a stain on the back seat that was actually crusty as well as lots of dust, sticky gunk in the cup holder and on the dash screen. By this time, I didn’t have the energy to argue and needed to bring it home rather than making ANOTHER trip to the dealership which is an hour from me. So, I got to bring home a disgusting vehicle which I will now have to pay to have cleaned professionally.When my car was supposed to be registered by the dealership, it took several extra days. Calls of mine were not returned and from the way I was treated over this I knew that the salesman having to bring me my registration was a huge annoyance. If it had been done days before when it was supposed to, I could have picked it up. I got treated like a problem because other people didn’t do their jobs.After it was registered, I was told that I was “all set” only to get a call two weeks later to tell me that the dealership had no proof of my income and they needed it THAT DAY or my car would be repossessed. This threw me into a massive panic attack, especially considering that I logged in on Kyle’s computer in his office while I was at the dealership so that he could print these items. I was there when it happened and was treated as though I didn’t submit the info. If they didn’t have this and it was never submitted, why was I approved and allowed to drive off the lot, to another state, with the car? I ran around when I needed to be at work, very stressed, came up with the documentation needed AGAIN and sent them over. I asked Kyle for confirmation both through text and email that he had received the documents, mainly so I wouldn’t go outside one morning to find my car being towed away. He never responded.The next contact I received was from the loan company to confirm my information. Which, it was nice to have that confirmed but it would have been even better not to sit around for days wondering what the dealership was doing and if my car would be repossessed.A few days ago, almost a month after I bought the car, I get a message from Jordan. I was working and couldn’t call back. The next day, I got a text from Kyle. So, he couldn’t confirm receiving the documents I sent him to but he could contact me about yet another problem? This time, they want the info stating that my insurance company paid off my old loan and that there’s a zero balance. I have also already submitted this info. I’m currently waiting to hear from Kyle about where I can have the docs faxed. They have made repeated mistakes and caused me lots of needless stress. The ball has been dropped SO much.I also have not received any paperwork from the loan company.Am I “all set” yet?Don’t buy a car here.

I cant say enough positive things about this dealership! From the moment I initiated contact about turning in my lease, to the moment I drove off the lot with my new lease, Ryan was with me every step of the way. The process was extremely easy and smooth from start to finish. Ryan returned my phone calls promptly with answers to all of my questions and also telling me what I needed to do on my end. He explained everything step by step and always followed through which made me feel part of the process and in the loop. They get the job done, but are not very personable. Also not very accurate as to when the car will be ready. They said it would be ready at 8:30, but we were there for 2 hours after that. I understand that things happen, but it would have been nice to get a call if things were behind schedule. We wound up waiting the 2 hours, because we dont live close by. This in turn made my husband late for work. A call would have been much appreciated.

We bought our new 2016 Golf GTI here. We had very specific requirements and I contacted a number of dealers in the area. Brad called me back straight away and promised to find us the car we were looking for, which he did within a week! I was impressed. He was also able to give us the price we were looking for which was even better. And we did all this over the phone saving me more trips out to car showrooms.When it came to picking up the car, Brad did his absolute best to move it through the whole process (registration, insurance etc. in a different state) in less than a day so we didnt have to make two trips to the dealer. Unfortunately traffic beat his best intentions but I was again pleasantly impressed with how hard he worked for us.Overall Brad was a pleasure to work with. He wasnt at all pushy and he definitely went the extra mile to make us happy and satisfied with our car buying experience. I would have no hesitation in going back to him.

Excellent service from Mark Flynn when I recently purchased my new Volkswagen CC recently. He knows the cars inside and out and spent a great deal of time of time with me showing me the technology within the car and making sure I understood all the workings of this car. The follow- up was also impressive. There was absolutely no pressure from a sales perspective and Mark made sure I got the best deal with many incentives, and explained them all thoroughly. I have become a big fan of Volkswagens and this was my second Volkswagen purchase. However, I did not receive this same degree of professional care or service from my prior Volkswagen dealer located in another state with my first car. Langan will have my future business! I will certainly be sure to recommend Mark Flynn and Langan to all my friends and family.

Hello, I have had my car serviced at Langan in Vernon Ct several times. I received a recall on my car for a fuel pump issue. Two years prior, I had a fuel pump issue and spent $800.00 to have parts replaced. I first called Lindsey on 7/19/18, in the service department to ask if I would still have to come down and have the recall, even though I had repairs done two years prior. She advised that she would pull my repair order and get back to me. A week later no return call. I then called another service person, Bill, he advised me he would pull the repair order and get back to me. I advised that I already was told this and know one ever called me. He then was very rude and unprofessional. I called back and spoke to a gentleman and explained what had happened and he would discuss with the service manager. Today is 8/2/18 and never received a call to this day from anyone at Langan. I called today and spoke to a manager, admittedly, I was a little upset at this point that not one person has given me a call in three weeks. He started to become irate and hung up the phone on me. Well, this is some great customer service. I guess if your not there to give them money, you are not worth their time. You figure they would be much nicer and more sympathetic after all the problems with VW. Well, I can tell that I will never visit this dealership again for service or to purchase a car.

Vernon Volkswagen is the definition of customer service. I had a sensor issue on my passat that was still under factory warranty which they took care of very promptly. I live in Massachusetts and had taken my car to another dealer originally, they refused to fix the issue under warranty and said if they even touched the car it would cost a ridiculous amount of money. After talking with the service team, they had me scheduled for an appointment and my car was fixed, no questions asked. They were very polite and knowledgeable. They even did everything under warranty and I didnt have to pay a penny. I 100% recommended this dealer for any of your VW service needs and I will be driving from MA to get my car serviced there from here on out. Finally a dealer with good morals and is actually there to do whats best for the customer.

This dealership is a class act. We were shopping for a car for our daughter. We had narrowed it down to 3 different cars and dealerships. All three cars were suitable and had great reviews. The difference was the people at Langan. Bob never once used any negative talk when I spoke about the other cars we were looking at. The other dealers did. That resonated strongly with me. My main concern was safety and although consumer report did not do right by the jetta, there were many other publications out there that did. Bob and Jack led me in the right direction. Working with Brad, Jess, and Shane was a total breeze! I was there pretty much all day and didnt feel like I was being sold something by salespeople that were trying to make their numbers. Brad and Jess were very accommodating and fun to hang out with while Shane did a great job getting me a loan that I could handle. Fair price, fair trade in value, was able to buy a car and drive it home the same day (which is a first. Manchester Honda and Subaru both nearly laughed me off their lots for even asking.) Manager was willing to work with me on the price a little bit so that I would feel comfortable paying cash for the new car and not have to finance (mainly because I didnt want to finance it, Im sure the dealer doesnt care how it gets paid for)Things were a pain with obtaining the title of my old car, since I had just paid it off 4 days ago, and Jordan very patiently waited on the phone with multiple uncooperative bank employees to ensure it was done before close of business and I would be able to leave in my new car.All around I got to drive away in a new car at the end of the day, and so far it has been an absolute pleasure to drive. Most fun Ive had driving any car since college. (Wound up in a 2016 6 speed GLI)

Fridays first bitter cold morning got the better of my car. While trying to drive to work I called the service dept. Without hesitation they told me to come right in.
