Purchased around $250,000 with of vehicles from Vernon. Loyalty means nothing here. I was offered $22,000 for my trade in (but they didnt have the vehicle in was looking at) I waited one month and my trade in is worth $16,000 now, that I found something i liked. They just blew it, i wont be replacing my companies/ personal vehicles here. The same friendly sales team members, are now working at Witchta Falls car dealers..

No BS extra fees or additional fees added to the price of the truck. Only negative has the wait time to get my truck but being in the car business i know about the computer chip shortage so i was very patient. Wow! What a response! Say what you feel like you need to make me look bad. I never cussed or demeaned anyone. I did say I felt like I was being blackmailed to have to agree to a perfect survey when I did not have a good experience. I told you I wanted the vehicle, in spite of it’s issues, after I was told it would take “quite a while” to get the parts necessary for repair. I was told okay as long as you give us 110% satisfied on the survey. When I said no to that, I was told the deal was being canceled in spite of my repeated requests to take delivery of it. The GM stood firm on that decision when I appealed to him. My mistake was not accepting with issues when I had the chance. No lies here or in the initial post just spreading the word for others to be aware of and consider when buying or taking delivery.Refused to sell to me because I would not agree to a perfect review on the impending Ford survey. Waited 7 months for ordered F-250 to come. It was delivered to me with a dent in the driver’s side door chrome trim and service light on for a broken washer fluid tank. They suggested I have the washer fluid tank repaired at a local dealer and take it to a body shop for the trim. I didn’t want to hassle with it and sent it back for them to take care of. They called and wanted to kill the deal. I refused and they killed it anyway when I said I would not complete the Ford survey as 110% satisfied. General manager said they do not sell unless you are completely satisfied. I believe the main reason they “killed” the deal is to take advantage of the opportunity to sell for $8k higher than the price we agreed on before the shortage of these vehicles. Terrible experience from start to finish.

First of all, had to revise due to current experience. Great place to buy, any place its business. But dont get your car repaired here. I have had my ford escape year 2018 that I bought here have major mechanical problems. Took my car in two to three months ago and they wont even talk to me have called several times and have been in person and same o same we will get back to you or even worse get put on hold forever or they just ignore our calls. The only good thing I hope is my car still has warranty by the time they fix it... Really dont know what do.

Do not order anything from this dealership. Even if trucks seem like they’re a better deal, it’s not worth it. My family ordered a brand new car from this dealer, waited an additional 4 months over the initial 6 - 8 week estimated delivery, and then when it finally got delivered by the dealership, it had a list of items wrong with it. Upon arrival 200 miles away from the dealership, they told him he needed to take it to a body shop and another dealer to get everything fixed on his own locally. When he didn’t agree to sign for the brand new truck with all the issues and let them take it back to get fixed where he bought it, the dealer just “killed the deal” out of fear they wouldn’t get a good review if they went through with it (per the phone call with the GM). Now our family is stuck starting over the 6 month process. While I’m sure this will get the same snarky response claiming these are lies and trying to blame the customer like the other bad reviews, I hope this helps at least one person avoid making the same mistake we did and they take their business elsewhere

I was sent an invoice with MSRP Signed it and sent it electronically. Salesman stated they never got it sent another one. I signed it with out reading it assuming it was the same one. $3,000 was added to the MSPRP. I did sign it cause I thought it was the same as the first one. I personally felt it was a slide of hand move. After talking to GM he did take the $3k off but no discount as discussed at the time truck was ordered. We felt he was rude and and pretty much told us to take or leave the truck we custom ordered at MSRP because they could sell it for the $3k over easily. I felt he had me over the barrel cause I needed the truck so I agreed to MSRP. I do understand supply and demand issue. But the fact is I discussed a discount and not an additional $3k. I live in Belen NM with a dealership 11 miles up the road why would I buy a truck in Texas? I went to this dealership because of the discounts. I took the truck at MSRP cause I needed the truck. Spoke with customer relations at Vernon and the General Manager again before I filled out the survey with no resolution. I used to work in a dealership and have bought several vehicles over my lifetime. This has been the worst dealership I have worked with to date. I do not recommend buying a vehicle at Vernon Auto Group. I have them a chance to resolve my issue before I wrote this and filled out their survey. 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

Called Vernon and spoke to Brandon was getting ready to purchase a vehicle and already had financing and funds after getting off the call I get a notification that my credit had been run it was a hard inquiry at that and it was not authorized I tried to call back and speak to the manager but they asked me my name and when they knew I was calling back they put me back in touch with the same person who had done it I was only able to get in touch with management after calling under a blocked number and giving a fake name so when you deal with these group of people just be ready for unexpected credit applications being run with your information that’s unauthorized and not being able to talk to management if there’s a problem since they’ll always get to the phone before management if they know they’ve done something wrong But even after speaking with management they claimed I submitted a credit application but I assured them that wasn’t possible sense at the time it happened I was at work working in the kitchen on a busy Friday night I had only stepped outside to speak with Brandon for a few minutes prior to it happening and had I submitted a credit application like they say there would be no need for me to be upset about it but it was not me it dropped my credit score unnecessarily even though I have good credit it was not supposed to happen so just be wary of you decide to go with them

Great variety. Had vehicle delivered to my home and drivers took very good care it. HOWEVER, I am 8 weeks into having my car and I still have no plates. My temporary plates expired 2 days. I have called Vernon Auto Group twice and keep getting the same response: “I’m the only one doing the paperwork for plates and we are behind”. If this dealership wants to be topnotch they are going to have to step it up. I am not impressed! Now I am leery of getting pulled over because they can’t seem to keep up with their paperwork. There’s no excuse for that.

Don’t order a truck from them. They will not complete the pre-delivery inspection and then “kill the deal” when you are not 110% satisfied and refuse to sign the paperwork until the issues are fixed!

These folks have us a great trade-in price on our 2016 Malibu, and we purchased a very nice 2019 RAM 1500 Lonestar at a very reasonable price with only 24,000 miles.

I am a proud owner of a 2017 Chevy Equinox. I have always had bad luck in getting the vehicle that I wanted. I would always go in wanting a used vehicle but only a few years old. They would let me drive it, but would then talk me into a much older vehicle that I didnt want. At Vernon Auto Group; this was not the case. I was approved almost immediately for the vehicle I wanted. In my opinion, I was treated like royalty. When I arrived around noon, the ladies I dealt with dropped everything to make sure I got into my vehicle smoothly, they even put off going to lunch. He took pictures of literally every little rock chip, far exceeding my expectations. (Although, there were only several minor ones - most of which I couldnt even find when seeing the vehicle in person.) The vehicle absolutely exceeded my expectations as did Steve! Steve had a driver waiting at the airport even though I had a 5 hour flight delay coming into Wichita Falls! Between Martin and Steve, they had me in and out of the dealership in less than an hour. Most of the time spent with my test drive and my detailed attention to detail to check everything out on the car. Everything was as promised. Bought a 2006 Hummer H3 from them. Patrick is a great saleman. The management however is another story. Had my vehicle shipped to me. Went to shine the tires and found a huge gash going all the way to the radials on the sidewall. Contacted dealership. Sent pic and even found the gash on one of their inventory photos. Would need a magnifying glass to notice it in the picture if I didnt know where it was. End result: The dealership refused to make it right by having me take it to be replaced on their dime. I see Integrity is not their strong suit. Buyer beware: make sure you inspect your vehicle Very Thoroughly before getting the hustle treatment like I did. Apparently they dont care if you die from a blowout after doing business with them.*UPDATE* the response below contains an email which I have sent several messages to and still no reply. I bought a new 2020 Ram from this dealer in November of 2020. They gave me good price and shipped to my door in California which was awesome but that’s about all the good things. First off, they delivered the truck with one key missing or lost. Ok they sent me new key and a check for key programming but since I don’t have registration in my name, I cannot get the key made. I had to smog it, which is fine, but I had to have it vin verified 4 times from dmv and each time the weight was not what they wanted so denied transfer. So still after over 5 months I still don’t have registration, plates and one key on a 70g new truck…. This is my 3rd truck I bought out of state and neither one of those had any of these problems. So this company they use “dmvnation” sent my paperwork to local dmv so I can do it there, but went there today and waited at dmv for over hour, just to be told they don’t have my paperwork yet even that I tracked it and was delivered yesterday. So if you’re not a local of Texas and looking at new vehicles I would pass on this dealer…….

We picked out a truck, called ahead, then got preapproval letter from our bank. We did deal and then it took 4 hours for them to do paperwork. After we signed everything, gave them our title and bank had sent draft, they refused to give us our keys because I said I was upset at how long it took and that no one wore masks or cleaned anything while we were there. The sales manager, Ralph Arteaga, then came out and said they were canceling the transaction and refused to give us our keys because he didn’t want a bad survey result. They said they would rather not sell the truck to us than risk a bad review. I’ve contacted Ford and kept copies of the contracts we signed. Please pass on them and go to a reputable dealer who will treat you right.

My latest two vehicle purchases have been with Vernon Auto Group, and both with Nick in particular. Both experiences have been outstanding. They go out of their way to make purchasing a new truck over the phone both easy as well as super convenient. I live near Galveston, so me to drive 6 plus hours just to deal with them speaks volumes in itself!

I purchased my truck from Vernon online without even seeing it in person. I was skeptical at first as I personally do not trust any salesman. I reached out to Rodney Haston whom I decided to purchase this truck within 5 minutes. My truck was given as a trade and they came to pick it up in Albuquerque, NM. I left some items in my truck and Rodney mailed them back. I thought that after the deal closed I would have trouble of getting any responses. I did not and was proven wrong. I will definitely purchase from them again. In addition I got a great price without having to deal with any local dealerships in which have increased all truck prices.

I have had my truck in their service department for over 5 weeks Now waiting on a repair that should take a competent mechanic no more than 8 hours(that’s being generous). They first 3 weeks they were waiting on parts. These last two weeks only God and the boys in the shop know why. Absolutely first class!!!.... Kyle, Martin, Morgan and Chase were outstanding in every way! Even after the store closed Kyle stayed and helped me air up the tires on my trailer after it was loaded. Also I was an hour away when I realized I had left my garage openers in my trade on the visor Kyle went back up to the dealership after he was already home and located them for me!! What a great bunch of guys I wouldn’t recommend going anywhere else as this was the best car buying experience I have had yet! Thanks again guys!

Do not purchase the extended warranty they offer for Warranty Solutions. They are difficult to deal with and slow to get repairs authorized. Also, stay away from F-150s for sure. Too many mechanical issues that Ford will not correct.

Just went through Vernon Auto Group for the 3rd time. This was my first used purchase from them. However it was still the same amazing experience. Rodney was my sales person, and Ralph also assisted as well. Both guys were easy to deal with and to the point. Always a great experience dealing with Vernon if you know what you want. The prices the quoted me over phone and via email were spot on with the paper work signing after test driving and etc. It’s only taken about 20 min each time to do the paperwork and be on my way. I know that when the day comes to purchase another vehicle I will be dealing with Vernon again! My grandmother and my parents have all purchase through Vernon since our first great experience with them. It’s the only place I will recommend without hesitation!

I had a horrible experience with Vernon Ford. They had a truck, the price was good. I walked away from a deal with another dealership for this truck. I saw it online, things were smooth at first, but then they kept asking for more paperwork, I gave it to them then and became very difficult to talk to. They didnt return voicemails, and when I did talk to someone, they all said just put up a deposit and they would ensure they would hold the truck for me. Well, they said they had sold it to someone else when I told them I was tired of waiting and I had my bank ready to finance. They still have my deposit, and they are acting like it is my fault, instead of fixing the problem. I have already called Ford and an Attorney! #STAYFARAWAY

This a great place to buy a vehicle from. The staff is very friendly and courteous. They are very helpful and can get you in the vehicle of dreams. Also they make the process of getting a car as hassle free as possible. I drove about 4 hours to get into their dealership and they had all the paperwork ready. Spent like an hour in the dealership. They got me into the truck I wanted and if i ever get another vehicle, plan on going to them.

Wed been searching for a Chevrolet Silverado for three weeks before turning to Ebay where we found Vernon Auto Group with the listing for my husbands dream truck. I called the dealership and spoke with Colton. He answered all my questions. He even took additional pictures of the truck inside and out although there was over sixty pictures already online. Colton and his manager were very patient with me. I did not feel pressured into making a purchase like I did with other dealerships. Living 1500 miles away didnt even effect the buying process. I was able to provide a deposit over the phone. Then all documents were emailed to me with a printable prepaid overnight shipping label. Stephanie in the finance department found us a lower interest rate on our auto loan than our local credit union. The entire process was smooth and easy. I was able to fly into a town just outside of Vernon. I took the Greyhound bus to Vernon, stayed the night in a hotel, and then picked my truck up the next morning. A wonderful female staff member even drove me to the dealership! The entire process went great. We saved thousands of dollars on this truck compared to what we were finding in Northern Nevada and California. I highly recommend Vernon Auto Group. We will definitely think about heading to Texas the next time were in the market for a new vehicle. Colton even called to make sure I made it home safely and to see if my husband was happy with his truck. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience!

We had a power train failure warning light come on as we were driving from Amarillo back to Houston at the end of a road trip. Lost all cruise control power and the car was in limp mode. Vernon Auto Grp was our closest Ford dealership and I called their service Department in an absolute panic from the parking lot of a Walmart an hour away. Tommy G. told me they were pretty booked through the end of the week (this was a Tuesday) but he must have heard my panic when I told him we were trying to make it back to Houston. He told me that they would squeeze me in as soon as I got there. And he was true to his word! Tommy and his team got the car hooked up for diagnostic testing and we settled in the waiting area. The three kids and our dog made use of the comfy waiting area and the TVs. They put the Expedition through testing and a test drive. Apparently the code was a misread and everything was fine. We were back on the road an hour and a half later, with my mind at ease. So thankful that Tommy and his team could fit us in!

Really enjoyed my experience. Found a couple trucks I wanted to get online. Called and got everything ready so when I went there I just had to check out the vehicles I was getting and fill out final paperwork. Great service, great staff, and very good pricing. I actually drove three hours to go there because they had such good pricing on these trucks.

They pushed me to use their application through the same bank I already had approval through at a lower rate than what they got me. The truck broke down in less than 300 miles and everyone involved disappeared. They wouldnt even return my call to sell me another truck. However, the price on the truck I bought was good.

I filled out a finance application with Gary over the phone and he got back with my approval status in minutes! The process was very simple and convenient, Gary helped me get the vehicle detailed, filled with fuel and the keys to the vehicle in the same day!
