Sierra made a long distance purchase as easy as possible. Totally worked with us on numbers, for our trade and the new truck. We had only seen stock photos of the new truck, which was beautiful in those pictures. Only to walk into the dealership to see our truck, which was SO much more than the pictures had shown. I have been using this dealer for 6+ years after I bought my car out of state and had a problem with it the first day. They took it right In fixed it and never had any issues with it again. Have brought it there ever since for all service. I recently bought a truck from another dealer and regretted it because of the customer service. I called Scranton with a recent issue and they were very happy to help me. From now on the truck will go there too. The service department is amazing no matter who you talk to. They definitely care for their customers and their reputation by extension. I highly recommend this dealer to anyone that needs service on their car. They take their jobs seriously, never try to oversell you and you go away with a comfort level you won’t get anywhere else. Well done Scranton! Keep up the good work.

Was immediately greatef by service manager. He reviewed my service contract, explained 1st service on GMC, recall updates that are needed would be completed and service process would take about 1and a half hours. Setting up the appointment was easy (by phone) the customer service rep was very helpful in accommodating the date and time request. Have had service previously with Scranton Motors I can say customer service is consistently excellent.

In general, my experience was good. I called with an issue, the service rep was pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful. My car issue was resolved to my satisfaction. The only thing preventing me from giving Scranton a higher grade was that the service rep had indicated that he would record the specific recommendations we discussed for additional needed work. This was not done. I had intended to make my next appointment for the 1st week in April. I was unable to because I needed to have the specifics, including estimated prices. Other than this, I would rate my customer experience as good.

A bit disappointed at first after dropping off my car for a day with the idea it would be ready at end of day but early the next morning service department (Jeff) had it fixed and ready for me. The appointment was made by phone and after i was told it would take 3-4 hours i requested a ride home.when i arrived at the dealership i was asked about absolutely unrelated service questions.the service writer then entered into the computer my reasons for coming here,i also said i had requested a ride home,after waiting in the lounge from 7:45 am. until well after 9:15 i went over to the service desk and asked where my ride was.i was given a ride about 20 minutes later,i told the driver that i required morning medication ...thank heaven i was o.k. and made it home in time....lousy follow-up and not listening to customers needs

There was a recall for my car but services couldnt address the issue at the time of visit due to their internet service was down. i will need to come back for it. also the car was washed but did not come with the drying which left water marks all over the car. i had to go & get the car wash again (i had my car the day before service) at my own convenience.

My husband and I both had horrible experiences at separate car dealerships in the past so we were very wary when we walked into Scranton. James made the whole process very easy and was not pushy at all. He went out of his way to answer our numerous questions and make sure we understood what we were looking at. The meeting with Chris in finance went just as well and he went above and beyond by even lowering the purchase price of the vehicle so that they could meet the monthly payments offered by our bank. It was a surprisingly pleasant experience and we will be back when we need another vehicle!

I’m from NH and was here to bring my aunt home from the hospital. My car kept stalling and I was basically stranded in an unknown area. Luckily Scranton dealership was nearby and I drove it in and explained my situation. Jeff was very caring and told me he would check to see if the problem might be covered by my warranty. I explained that I needed to pick up my aunt from the hospital that afternoon. A very friendly driver, Jim drove me back to my aunts apartment. Within an hour and a half Jeff called to tell me that my car was fixed and covered by my warranty. Jim immediately came to get me and I drove out with a bill of zero dollars. Can’t thank these guys enough for turning a bad luck situation into good luck. Highly recommend them.

David Baeza is the friendliest easy going salesman I have ever had the pleasure of working with. The entire dealership was friendly and FAST! I was in/out in less than 2 hours. It was a great experience and I would definitely buy another vehicle from him and this dealership. Evan Blanchette in Finance was extremely friendly and went over all my paperwork pausing for any questions I may have. Do not buy a car from this dealership,Purchased a used car from them in May 2021 mileage was 21,347, about 1-2 weeks later I noticed the rear tires tread wear was low, the front tires had very good tread, I called scranton motors and requested new rear tires only, they declined my request stating they only have to make the car road worthy I was also told the depth of the treads of the front tires and the rear tires ( they were different depths. ) Why would a car with only 21, 347 miles have different tire wear. I filed a complaint with GMC headquarters along with the BBB.About 1 month ago the car had an oil leak once again I called scranton motors and spoke with Ashley in the service department whom was the only resonable person there that I dealt with, I took it to a repair shop close to where I live and they said it was the oil pan, I then took it to a reputable GMC dealership close to where I live, it was the oil filter that was leaking, and had a complete oil change done (mileage 21,788)On 08-16-2021 I received a card in the mail from scranton motors which had my vehicle health report: INDICATORS THAT YOUR TIRES NEED SERVICE, Tire has excessive wear or damage to the sidewall, Tread is worn down at or below the wear indicators. Uneven treadwear causing noise or vibrations. Mileage 21845.Once again do not purchase a vehicle from Scranton Motors they do not care about the cars they sell nor do they car about customer requests concerning the safety of the cars they sell, theyre only looking for the sale of vehicles. And one other thing I asked before I purchased the car I do not want a donut for a spare, I want a full sized tire...what did I get a donut. 09-01-2021 mileage 21873 drivers side rear tire went flat overnight sitting in the driveway, brought to tire shop for a new set of tires, spoke with Scranton motors as recommended they solve absolutely nothing, had car for only 500 miles and needs new tires, this dealership does not even deserve 1 star.

Our 2019 GMC Sierra 2500 Crew Cab had a cracked windshield and we had Satelite replaced it. We found out later that it leaked causing mole & mildew. Sierra Moses Our sales woman was excellent!! We were very impressed on all her responses to our emails and phone calls. She gave us her word she would get answers to our questions we had about the car and financing. We were extremely impressed after finding out she had only been with Scranton Motors since July of this year!!I feel Scranton hit the jackpot hiring Sierra.Chris Champagne in Finance department was also excellent at matching and beating my interest rate with another source I was dealing with. He also did everything he could to make us happy. He took the time making sure we understood everything before we signed our paperwork. I had a key fob issue from day 1 since purchasing the vehicle 2017 GMC Acadia. Battery was replaced in the fob...continues to be unreliable with opening the vehicle. Also, had a dead battery. Total for the batter was ~200 labor -94...ok acceptable...then I was charged a $35 covid fee? (ExplainedBy service agent josh). I was also told I would not be charged for you to reset/reprogram the key fob yet I was charged ~94 for labor/diagnostics. I told everyone at Scranton (James Mangene and josh and Amanda) that this was pre existing with the key fob from buying the car. James remembers this from the sale date.While service has been prompt and excellent, I am less than satisfied with paying for covid fees (it effects all of us not just Scranton) and the fact that I had to pay for 1 hour labor to diagnose a faulty key fob and reprogram it.Not sure I will be coming back based on what I am being charged

(wishing I could give negative stars) Lesson learned --- they dont use CarFax for a reason...…This place tried to sell me a branded buy back vehicle. This was only disclosed to me at the point of registering the vehicle. At that point I pulled the deal as I did not intend on buying a known lemon..... The credit pull knocked my credit score down costing me time and money..... Car dealers get a bad name based on shady business practices... My experience did not help this view. At all. When I decided that I did not want to buy the branded title known lemon, there was a women involved, not exactly sure her role in the process was tough to deal with, and felt like she was trying to push the deal through, even though it had a known issue that would forever devalue the vehicle. They told me it was a radio issue? I am not the smartest guy out there but what are the chances of a manufacture buying back a vehicle, branding a title forever as a lemon over a radio? They would have replaced the radio 15 times prior to that.to add insult to injury they told me the best credit apr they found me was 7% -- as I was upset, of course as any one would be they made the mistake of showing me the offers ---- 4.6% was actually the lowest. --------- Why not be transparent? Why try to rip a customer off? Buyers beware and I would stay far away from this place.

Was able to get in early for appointment, however the pricing at Scranton is significantly more than other GM dealers. Have quote from Scranton, but going to another GMC dealer to do work at about half the quoted price. Scranton is typically the last place I call, out of necessity, because of their high prices. $172 for a LOFR and new battery in remote is $50 above what I consider reasonable.

Bought a used 2017 gmc terrain today! David was terrific, not pushy, very friendly and knowledgeable. Having bad experiences at other dealerships, I was very apprehensive and definitely not expecting to drive a different car out of the lot that day. The whole team made it very seamless and effortless and assisted with minor hiccups. Chris was fantastic, almost took the fears away like it was meant to be. I started my experience with a phone call to sales. Sierra answered and I let her know what I was looking for. She made an appointment on a convenient day for me and confirmed the night before with a phone call. When my wife and I went to the dealership Sierra met us at the door and we dicussed a little more in detail about what I was looking for. She showed me a CT4. We went for a test ride and Sierra was very knowledgeable about the car. The test drive went well and we went back to the dealership where Sierra and her manager Jill helped us work out the final details and put me in a brand new Caddy!! A lifelong dream!! Afterward Dan the delivery coordinator spent a considerable amount of time with the technology of the vehicle. He helped me set up bluetooth wifi etc. I love my new car and had a wonderful experience at Scranton GMC in Vernon Ct. Almost forgot Chris in the finance department was also very helpful. I am dealing with a check engine light issue. I have already had it checked elsewhere with a part being replaced but the problem is not solved as the light came back on. So was informed to go to the dealership as they may be able to do more. So, I came and we are starting from basics of just turning off the light and see if it comes back on. If so, I will need to have the dealership dig deeper into it. I definitely feel like they care and will not take advantage of me.

8/24/20. Service was not complete. Now I have to go for a third time to get the same USB fixed. Technician forgot to install the part.I was overcharged. Price was adjusted and still charged more than expected. Quoted 1205 for tires and alignment, total came to 1374 with added oil change. Was reduced to 1315 but still to much. I was charged $91 for oil change that is on the website for 64.95.Service personnel is friendly but have had 4 or 5 less than satisfactory experiences in the past 8 months since I purchased my truck at Scranton.

Amanda in Service is the best. Lost my A/C about 1 pm Tuesday with 95 degree heat wave. Drove in and left with rental car about 30 minutes later. Picked up my Denali at noon the next day with a new compressor. Paid the $200 deductible and drove away because I had purchased the GM extended warranty. The full repair was over $1,000 !! We use Scranton for one reason........Service. This is also true next door at Scranton Power Sports. Chris in Service is also the Best!!

While purchasing our car there was a series of misunderstandings where we told the salesperson one thing and he would say he understood but he would tell the financial guy something completely different. Its been two months and the car was making a weird noise. We made an appointment to bring the car in, the girl on the phone was very helpful and said the head person would be there and would go in the car so we could show him the noise. That never happened, they called us at the end of day one saying they couldnt recreate the sound and asked to keep another day. 3pm on day two I called for a status update to be told rudely that the guy who did the intake for my car (not the tech) was out so thats why I didnt get a call and she would call me back. An hour later I called back and a third person told me my car was ready for pick up...I asked if anything was fixed...she just didnt know...but I needed my car so I just went to go get it.

This place continues to impress. The service is second to none. They even top off your fluids, yeah really! So, my wife spilled hand sanitizer on the console area of our Enclave and ruined the finish. Love my vehicle but I will not be purchasing from this dealership again. The buying process was quick and easy and David was wonderful (which is really the only reason the review gets 2 stars), but the communication is terrible including the service department. I’ve been patient and understanding given the covid issue, but even now after 3 months I’m still dealing with unresolved issues with no communication. When I do call to follow up I don’t feel as though I’m getting honest answers or clear answers. Save yourself the hassle and find yourself another dealership that actually values their customers enough to communicate.

Brought our vehicle in because the brakes were making a a constant squealing noise and our drivers front tire kept going flat. Picked up vehicle next day started driving it home, after they told us there was nothing wrong with the brakes that they just needed greasing and the tire did not have a leak, and to our surprise the noise was still there. Brought it back to the shop immediately and you guys looked at it right away we waited about another hour and a half. Our service rep. Amanda came out and let us know they had to replace the rear brakes and rotors and they were refunding us the original charge plus no charge for the new parts or labor. They were very apologetic and told us that they addressed the situation with the original tech that looked at our vehicle. We left and everything was good until the next day when my tire was flat again, so we decided to leak test it ourselves and found that the valve stem was leaking. Call scranton service back brought the vehicle over and they took it in right away and fix the tire free of charge. Other than the driving back and forth was very satisfied with the fact you were willing to make things right. Staff was extremely friendly, apologetic, and sensitive to the situation.

I was very pleased with the service. Everyone was very friendly, professional, and accommodating. I had to cancel my original appointment for service on my truck and they were able to reschedule me for the next day. While performing the scheduled service they were able to squeeze in an oil change despite being busy. When I got my truck back, I noticed they even vacuumed the interior and washed the exterior. As someone in the service industry, I can recognize great customer service and people who take pride in their work. A job where you can accommodate everything asked of you in a timely manner, and leave the workplace looking better than it did to begin with, is a job extremely well done.

Your salesperson, technical expert, AND finance expert treated my friend, who engineered the sale, disrespectfully. I introduced him, as he accompanied me when I went to pick up my Enclave Avenir. Not one of your people acknowledged his presence, looked him in the eye or gave any sign that they were aware of his presence or role in the sale. My friend accepted your salesperson ‘s offer of a water, and it was never brought, despite the fact that we were at your Vernon location for 1 1/2 hours. This was the third car I’ve bought from you; I expected more from your team. In addition, my friend’s family have bought several Cadillacs from you. I’ve spent a lot of money at your dealership, in sales and service. Your overall performance was poor this time.
