This place is great! Had awful car shopping experience at nearby car dealerships in that area so I left and saw Diamond Auto. So on a whim I decided to see what they had. Less then 2hrs later I was sold on my new car. Im a very happy customer and the process was beyond easy for a walk in. No credit no problem as long as you are employed and have enough to put down. My experience with Diamond Auto was OUTSTANDING hands down best place Ive been to buy a car. Dont let the looks of them being a small shop fool you, they work with amazing lenders that give really great low apr rates and monthly payments. I was terrified about buying another car because of my previous experience at Central Auto in New Britian, that experience cost more than the luxury of the car. But Diamond Auto really made my life better the owners Sid and his brother along with there amazing finance team, Joey being in charge, listened to my budget and monthly income, understood how much I can afford to put down and pay monthly and found me a BEAUTIFUL 2016 Nissan Altima with no accidents and very low miles. The experience I had with This dealer was Awesome. I spent weeks looking for cars on carvana and after 4 delays I finally cancel and called a dealer and then when I was denied due to little credit history I called Diamond Auto Cars and literally within 2 hours I drove off the lot in my new car. So sad to say but this dealer is the worst when you have the sales and manager tell you to take the car and then set up an appointment to fix the car we got for my son and now they have a different story that they cant fix it because we already drove it out the lot. Scammers with used cars. Cant be trusted.

Initially I was pleased that Christian worked hard to get me in the vehicle I was looking at. I ultimately ended up having to put more of a down payment than I had hoped. This was my own hiccup and not by any means the dealers. However then I began having some issues with the truck and they happened just as the pandemic hit. I was in communication with Christian who expressed that I was covered not to worry, which I still have all texts to prove. I was told as soon as the graage was opened I would get a call. I didnt. I drove by and they were open so I reached out to them. The rear calipers on my truck had locked up and after inspecting the parking brake (one of the items I had told christian was acting up) there parking brake was missing parts and the backing plate was completely rotted away. I was told the truck had new tires but it didnt. I had to replace the rear tires with the brakes as when they locked up they had damage. I was told that my warranty was up and they couldnt do anything for me, even though my warranty expired while they were shut down and not taking in repairs. I would not recommend this dealer to anyone. I only gave them a couple stars because they will work for the sale but not to keep you safe. Brakes are a safety issue and should have been found defective during inspection before sale.

They are very honest and reputable people. We will go back when we purchase our next car. We recommend them highly !
